Kalanala & Waghawadi Road
The central belt is where the city began and where its corporation has its head office, near Kalanala. Because it sits in the middle, tutors from almost every side of Bhavnagar can reach it, and families here usually get the widest choice of subject teachers.

The south-western zone is mostly residential societies, so the society name and block matter more than the road. The corporation groups Kaliyabid with Sidsar and Adhewada in one ward. Kaliyabid: directions usually start at the water tank circle. Give the society, block and flat number, and tell the guard the tutor's name before the first visit. Fix the day and time in the first week, because evening slots fill early.
Vidhyanagar (also written Vidyanagar): beside Kaliyabid near the same circle and the forest park. Families name the park, the circle and the society together. Sardarnagar & Tarsamiya

Bharatnagar: a residential area near the main road from Talaja Jakatnaka towards Ghogha Road. Where both parents work, late-evening or weekend-morning slots keep the arrangement steady; say in the request if the tutor should start only once a parent is home.
Tarsamiya: on the south-eastern edge near its lake, and spelt several ways, including Tarsimiya and Tarasmiya. Write the spelling your family uses and add Sardarnagar as a reference. Fewer, longer classes can suit a tutor riding in from further away.
Adhewada: along the highway towards Mahuva, and listed in two ward names, which shows how far it stretches. Give the nearest junction on the highway and a map pin. If two children of different ages share one tutor, ask for a clear split of the time between them.
Krishnanagar & Ghogha Circle
East of the centre, this zone runs from the regular streets of Krishnanagar to Ghogha Circle and out to Akwada. Boards here, as across the city, range from the Gujarat board to CBSE and ICSE.
Krishnanagar: laid out in the 1930s with regular streets, and spelt Krushnanagar in the corporation's ward list. Give the street, house number and a corner landmark. If your child studies in English medium under CBSE or ICSE, say so, since the English papers differ a good deal between boards.
Ghogha Circle: a junction on the road towards Ghogha, with a garden at its centre and several roads branching off. Name the road as well as the circle, and the shop or building. Families who run a shop here often ask for late-evening or Sunday-morning lessons in a room away from the counter.
Akwada: towards the south-eastern edge, once listed as a village of Bhavnagar taluka. Akwada Lake, which the corporation lists among the city's places to visit, is the usual landmark. Share a map pin and agree in advance that a class can move online on a heavy monsoon day.
Chitra & Nari Road
The western and north-western zone is served from the corporation's west zone office at Akhlol Jakatnaka. Chitra, Fulsar and Nari form one ward, and Kumbharwada has a ward of its own.
Chitra: gives its name to one of the state industrial estates of the Bhavnagar region, with homes and societies close by. Say whether you live on the industrial side or in a residential society. If a parent works shifts, agree two fixed slots with the tutor, one for each shift pattern.
