What home tuition costs in Nashik

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.

Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Physics home tutor in Nashik: one steady session a week between junior college, coaching and the board paper

For a Class 11 or 12 student in Nashik, physics is often spread across three places at once. Junior college or school follows its own syllabus, an entrance batch for JEE, NEET or MHT-CET moves at its own speed, and the board paper at the end of Standard XII wants derivations, diagrams and practical work that neither of the others has much time for. A home physics tutor is the person who reads the student's own working, finds the step that keeps breaking, and keeps the board paper from being forgotten. NXTutors puts forward two or three physics tutors who know the target exam and can reach your locality at an hour that works. Fees are visible before you meet anyone, and the first lesson is a free demo.

Which physics exam is your child really aiming at?

The chapters overlap, but each exam pays for something different, so agree the main target before the first homework is set.

For JEE Advanced in 2026, eligibility was limited to 2,50,000 JEE Main candidates, chosen by rank. Entrance syllabi are published by the conducting body and can keep chapters a board has dropped, so read the current bulletin before crossing anything off. For chapter priorities, see our JEE physics plan by topic and the NEET physics chapters that repay the most time.

What should an HSC physics student at junior college ask of a tutor?

State Board students usually take Standards XI and XII at a junior college and sit the HSC set by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. The board publishes its own physics syllabus, textbook and scheme of evaluation and revises them from time to time, so we do not describe the paper here; the official site is the reference. What a family can judge is fit:

  • The textbook in hand. Practice should come from the state textbook and the board's sample question papers, not from a book written for another board.
  • Two exams at once. If MHT-CET or JEE is also on the list, the tutor should know which state-board chapters carry over to the entrance test and which need extra depth.
  • Practical work. Ask how the tutor will help with the journal and with explaining each experiment, since the college lab is where the apparatus lives.
  • Language. A student who studied in Marathi medium until Standard X may need technical terms bridged into English at the start of Standard XI.

The Maharashtra Board tutor page for Nashik covers the state board across subjects.

What does a useful week with a physics tutor look like beside coaching?

A home tutor who repeats the coaching lecture wastes the hour. Three jobs are usually missing from a busy student's week, and a good tutor takes them on:

  1. The backlog. Batch classes move at the pace of the room, so unsolved problems pile up. The home session works through them one by one until the method is the student's own.
  2. The board paper. Derivations, ray diagrams and practical preparation need regular, written practice. One session a week, or part of one, keeps them alive.
  3. Reading the mock. A score alone says little. Sort every lost mark into a gap in the idea, a careless slip, or a question better skipped, and plan next week from that list.

We compare JEE coaching with a home tutor, and the NEET version does the same for medical entrance. Our JEE home tutor in Nashik and NEET home tutor in Nashik pages describe matching for each.

How are the 70 theory marks spread in CBSE Class 12 physics?

The 2026-27 sample paper keeps the previous design. The fourteen NCERT chapters fall into four marking blocks:

CBSE Class 12 physics, 2026-27: theory marks by block and the kind of practice each block repays
BlockMarksPractice that repays the time
Electrostatics to alternating current (electricity and magnetism)33Field and circuit problems with directions marked on the figure
Optics, with electromagnetic waves18Ray diagrams drawn to the rules, every time
Dual nature, atoms and nuclei12Short numericals with careful powers of ten
Semiconductor electronics7Current notes only: transistors and logic gates are no longer in the syllabus

Section A has sixteen one-mark items, twelve multiple-choice and four assertion–reason; B has five two-mark questions, C seven of three marks, D two case studies of four, and E three long answers of five, making 33 in all. Only about 38% of the marks reward recall; constants are given and no calculator is allowed. There is one main board exam in Class 12, with 2027 dates for CBSE to announce. The Class 12 physics strategies collect derivations that recur, and the Class 12 physics tutor page sets out a board-year plan.

Can a home tutor help with the 30 practical marks?

More than most families expect. CBSE splits the 30 as 14 for two experiments (one from each section, 7 apiece), 5 for the record, 3 for an activity, 3 for the investigatory project and 5 for the viva. The record needs at least eight experiments, four from each section, at least six activities, three from each, and the project report.

The apparatus stays in the school lab, but at home a tutor can check every record entry for its aim, diagram and observation table, rehearse precautions and sources of error, and run a mock viva with questions such as what a graph's slope means or why several readings are taken. HSC students can use the same routine for their journal.

How should a physics error log be kept?

Keep one notebook that both student and tutor write in. Each entry has four parts: the question as set, the student's first attempt left uncorrected, a single line on what went wrong, and a clean solution written a few days later without looking. Every solution follows one order: a figure with directions marked, the principle named in words, substitution with units on each line, and a final check that the sign and size of the answer make sense. Bring this notebook, or the last two coaching tests, to the free demo; a capable tutor should find the weak step before teaching anything new.

Can a physics tutor reach you after college in these six Nashik localities?

Senior students often reach home late, which pushes physics into the evening, when Nashik's main roads are at their busiest. Whether a slot holds depends on the tutor's route. Find tutors by locality on our Nashik page.

The western roads

On Gangapur Road most visits are to flats in apartment buildings; autos and cabs are easy to find and many tutors ride two-wheelers, so ask the building where a visitor can park. College Road runs between Model Colony and Canada Corner, a junction that crowds at peak hours; an early-evening slot that stays clear of the rush tends to start on time.

The old centre and the northern edge

Panchavati is central, so tutors from many parts of Nashik can reach it, though the streets near the markets and the river get crowded. Makhmalabad is spreading across open land on the northern edge, with independent houses on plots; the tutor usually comes straight to the door, but a map pin saves a lost first visit.

East: Adgaon and Nashik Road

Adgaon has apartments, builder floors, villas and many self-built houses on plots; name the colony as well as the house number. Nashik Road is a large suburb around Nasik Road railway station, with the Nashik-Pune Highway running through; roads near the station and the highway peak morning and evening, so a tutor based on that side holds an evening slot more reliably.

When college or coaching overruns, switch that evening to an online hour with the same tutor rather than asking anyone to cross the city late.

IB, ISC or IGCSE physics, and when should tuition begin?

  • IB Diploma. Since the first exams on the current guide in May 2025, the course runs on five lettered themes, with no options and no Paper 3. Two exam papers carry 80% of the grade, and an investigation the student designs alone carries 20%; recommended teaching is 150 hours at SL and 240 at HL. Our IB physics guide has the detail.
  • ISC. CISCE assesses practical work and a project alongside theory and expects reasoning beyond a one-line answer. Check that the tutor teaches the syllabus for your exam year.
  • Cambridge IGCSE. Offered at Core or Extended. A student moving to an Indian board for Class 11 usually needs extra work on vectors and graphs.

On timing, Class 11 is usually the less costly place to start, since mechanics rests on vectors and graphs that return all through Class 12. See the Class 11 physics tutor page and the stream choice guide.

What does a physics home tutor in Nashik charge?

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fees, which follow the target exam, their experience with it, how late the trip to your locality falls, and the number of sessions a week. The same tutor may quote differently for online lessons. Every fee is shown before the demo, and the Nashik home tuition fees article lists questions to ask.

Asking for a physics shortlist in Nashik

Share the class, the board (HSC, CBSE, ISC, IB or IGCSE), the main goal, the days of college and coaching, your locality and a landmark, and the evenings still free. Two or three physics tutors come back with fees, and you choose whom to meet for the free demo. A poor fit leads to a second demo, and changing tutor later is free. Tutors who join go through an ID check; the Verified badge appears only after our team has reviewed the ID (about the ID check). NXTutors, based in Sector 66, Gurugram, also teaches online nationwide; the national physics home tutor page covers other cities, and our maths and chemistry pages for Nashik cover the companion subjects.

Physics Home Tutor in Nashik: common questions

What does a physics home tutor in Nashik cost?

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Physics tutors set their own rates, usually by target exam and evening timing, and you see each one before the demo.

Can you find a physics tutor for an HSC student at junior college?

Yes. We look for tutors who teach from the Maharashtra State Board textbook and its sample papers, and who can help with the practical journal. The board revises its syllabus and scheme from time to time, so take the current paper pattern from mahahsscboard.in rather than older guides.

My child is in a JEE or MHT-CET batch. What does a home tutor add?

A different job from the batch: clearing problems left unsolved from the coaching sheet, keeping board derivations and practical work on track, and reading each mock test mark by mark. MHT-CET is run by the State CET Cell, so check its current syllabus on cetcell.mahacet.org.

How are the CBSE Class 12 physics theory marks divided?

The 70 theory marks fall into four blocks: electricity and magnetism 33, optics with electromagnetic waves 18, dual nature with atoms and nuclei 12, and semiconductor electronics 7. All 33 questions are compulsory, constants are supplied and calculators are not permitted. Practicals add the other 30 marks.

How much physics is there in JEE Main and NEET?

In JEE Main 2026, physics was a third of Paper 1: 25 questions, five needing a numerical answer. In NEET (UG) 2026 it was 45 of 180 questions, worth 180 of 720 marks. Both scored four for a correct answer and deducted one for a wrong answer.

Can a tutor help with practical marks without lab equipment?

Yes. The CBSE practical gives 14 marks to two experiments, 5 to the record, 3 to an activity, 3 to the project and 5 to the viva. At home a tutor can check record entries, rehearse precautions and sources of error, and run a mock viva.

Is an evening physics class practical near Nashik Road?

Usually, with a tutor who lives on that side of the city. Roads near Nasik Road railway station and the Nashik-Pune Highway are busiest morning and evening, so set the slot clear of those peaks, and switch to an online hour on days when college or coaching runs late.

When should physics tuition start?

Class 11 is usually the less costly point. Mechanics depends on vectors and graphs that return throughout Class 12, so gaps left there grow. A term spent making those foundations secure saves repair work during the board year, whether the student is on the HSC, CBSE or ISC.
