Nashik Home Tuition Guide: Every Zone from Gangapur Road to Nashik Road
Nashik spreads in several directions from the Godavari: the old centre at Panchavati on the left bank, the Gangapur Road and College Road flats to the west, Mhasrul and Makhmalabad north along Dindori Road, Nashik Road around its station in the east, a highway belt south from Mumbai Naka, and the planned township of CIDCO beside the Satpur and Ambad industrial estates. Below, all five zones and eighteen localities: the homes, the address detail that saves the first trip, and the hours that work.
Getting around Nashik as a tutor
Nashik has no metro. Most home tutors ride a two-wheeler; autos, cabs and buses fill the gaps.
- Main roads. The Mumbai-Agra highway in the south, Gangapur Road and College Road in the west, Dindori Road in the north, and the Nashik-Pune Highway, Jail Road and the Bhagur-Nashik Road in the east. The Ambad Link Road ties Ambad to the CIDCO side.
- Rail. Nasik Road station, on Central Railway's Bhusawal division and open since 1862, is the main reference point in the east. Deolali station is also within city limits.
- Buses. Several stops serve Mumbai Naka, including the Mumbai Naka bus stand, one of the easier points to reach without a vehicle.
| Zone | How tutors usually get in | Homes you will find | Busy times to avoid |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gangapur Road & College Road | Two-wheeler, auto or cab | Apartment buildings; row houses and bungalows in College Road's side lanes | Evenings on Gangapur Road and at Canada Corner |
| Panchavati, Mhasrul & Adgaon | Two-wheeler, especially in older lanes | Independent houses in older lanes, plots, builder floors and new apartments | Morning and evening on Dindori Road; market streets near Panchavati |
| Nashik Road & Jail Road | Two-wheeler, auto or Jail Road buses | Flats of one to four bedrooms, co-operative housing societies, houses | Morning and evening near the station and the highway |
| Mumbai Naka to Pathardi Phata | Bus, auto or two-wheeler | Mostly apartment buildings, with independent houses, villas and plots | Morning and evening at the Mumbai Naka and Pathardi Phata junctions |
| CIDCO, Satpur & Ambad | Two-wheeler across the colonies | Flats, row houses and individual plots | Shift-change times near the industrial estates, and the evening |
Gangapur Road & College Road
The western apartment corridor, familiar to tutors from most zones; the municipal corporation's headquarters is on Sharanpur Road.
Gangapur Road
A major traffic artery lined with apartment buildings, most of them two- and three-bedroom flats, with pockets such as Sharanpur and Canada Corner beside it. Send the building, wing and floor, and tell the watchman the tutor's name. Say where a two-wheeler can park.
College Road
The road links Model Colony with the Canada Corner junction, a well-known reference point across Nashik. Shops line the road; side lanes hold flats, row houses and bungalows. An early-evening slot avoids the junction rush.
Anandwalli
Further out beyond Gangapur Road, with newer apartment buildings around the old village core of Anandwalli Gaon. Tutors arrive through Gangapur Road, so keep the slot outside the evening peak and register the tutor with security once.
Panchavati, Mhasrul & Adgaon
From the old centre to the newest colonies: the first-visit challenge changes from crowded lanes to unfamiliar ones.
Panchavati
An old part of Nashik, on the left bank of the Godavari and now part of the central city. Independent houses fill the older lanes, with row houses and newer apartment buildings around them, near the Raviwar Peth and Saraf Bazar markets. A two-wheeler is the simplest way through.
Mhasrul
Grown from Mhasrul Gaon along Dindori Road in the north, with apartment buildings, housing societies, plots and houses, plus a government housing scheme at Kalanagar. Pick a slot clear of Dindori Road's morning and evening rush.
Makhmalabad
A growing area on the northern edge where new roads and housing are spreading over open land, mostly plots and independent houses. Send a map pin and a landmark such as the RTO Corner area or Peth Road before the demo.
Adgaon
An emerging area on the eastern side with apartment buildings, builder floors, villas and many plots where families build their own houses. Dhatrak Phata and Nandur are close by. Share the colony name and a map pin; mid-afternoon or early-evening slots run smoothly.
Nashik Road & Jail Road
Almost a town of its own, merged into the municipal corporation in 1984. A tutor already living near the station, Upnagar or Jail Road is usually the one who keeps coming all year.
Nashik Road
A large suburb built around Nasik Road station, with flats of one to four bedrooms and some villas. The station area is a handy meeting point. Keep lesson times away from the peaks near the station and the Nashik-Pune Highway.
Jail Road
A residential belt along one of the main roads of the Nashik Road area, with houses and many co-operative housing societies; Rosa Colony, Dasak and Panchak lie along it, served by autos and buses. In a society, register the tutor with security and share the building and flat number.
Upnagar
A residential suburb between Nashik Road and Jail Road. Give the building and flat number for a flat, a map pin and landmark for a house, and plan around evening traffic towards Nashik Road.
Deolali Gaon
The old village area beside Nashik Road, now adding apartment buildings of smaller flats near Vihitgaon. Older lanes are hard to follow, so send a map pin and a landmark. Avoid the morning and evening rush on roads towards the station.
Mumbai Naka to Pathardi Phata
The Mumbai-Agra highway belt: busy junctions, calmer colonies set back from the road.
Mumbai Naka
A well-known junction and locality on the highway, with the Old Agra Road also passing through. Homes are mostly two- to four-bedroom flats. The bus stand makes a tutor who travels by bus a real option.
Govind Nagar
An established residential area next to Mumbai Naka, close to the highway, mainly flats. Parking near shops is tight, so agree where the tutor parks and avoid the evening rush.
Indira Nagar
A well-developed residential area along the highway in southern Nashik, mostly flats with some houses and plots; Wadala Gaon adjoins it. Share the building, wing and floor, and avoid the peaks.
Pathardi Phata
A residential area on the highway at the southern end of the zone, with flats, independent houses and plots near Pathardi Gaon. The junction is busy at peak hours; colony roads are quiet. A map pin helps for a house.
CIDCO, Satpur & Ambad
The planned and industrial south-west. Shift patterns shape the timetable here as much as the evening rush.
CIDCO (New Nashik)
A planned township of wide roads and parks, divided into many colonies such as Morwadi and Abhiyanta Nagar. Give the colony name, building or house number and a landmark, not just "CIDCO".
Satpur
Known for its industrial estate, ringed by colonies of flats, row houses and plots, with the Trimbak Road corridor alongside. In a building, register the tutor at the gate.
Ambad
One of the city's main industrial estates, with colonies of mostly one- to three-bedroom flats beside CIDCO, Satpur and Pathardi Phata. Choose a slot clear of shift-change traffic as well as the evening.
Home or online in Nashik
A home tutor works well when they live in or near your zone. When the specialist your child needs lives on the far side of the city, an online class removes the trip; some families keep one subject at home and another online. Frequently asked questions
Which school boards do Nashik tutors on NXTutors cover?
Nashik tutors on NXTutors cover the Maharashtra State Board (MSBSHSE), which runs the SSC and HSC examinations and has a Nashik Divisional Board, plus CBSE and ICSE/ISC. Some families also want IB or IGCSE help. Tutors are matched at home where they live nearby and online across India, so every board has an option.
Can a tutor from College Road teach my child in Nashik Road?
A tutor from College Road can sometimes teach in Nashik Road, but it is a long ride across the city for a weekly class. Ask first for a tutor based near Nashik Road, Upnagar or Jail Road, who can keep the slot through the school year. If the specialist you want lives in the west, an online class removes the trip.
Is there a metro that tutors can use in Nashik?
No, Nashik has no metro, so tutors mostly ride two-wheelers or take autos and cabs. Buses help near the Mumbai Naka bus stand and along Jail Road, and Nasik Road station is a useful meeting point on the eastern side. Fix a class slot that avoids the peak on the main road nearest your home.
What address details help a tutor find a home in CIDCO or Adgaon?
In CIDCO, the address details that help a tutor are the colony name, the building or house number and a landmark, not just the word CIDCO. Adgaon's newer colonies need a map pin and the colony name, with Dhatrak Phata or Nandur as nearby references. In an apartment building, tell security the tutor's name before the demo.
How does NXTutors put together a Nashik tutor shortlist?
NXTutors puts together a Nashik tutor shortlist of two or three matched tutors, starting with those nearest your home, then your zone, the rest of Nashik and online tutors. You see each tutor's fee before the demo, the first class with each tutor is a free demo, and you can switch tutor later at no cost if the fit changes.
Which class times work around the Satpur and Ambad industrial estates in Nashik?
Around the Satpur and Ambad industrial estates in Nashik, choose a class time clear of shift-change traffic as well as the evening rush. Shift patterns shape the timetable there as much as office hours do. Most tutors cross the CIDCO colonies by two-wheeler, and in a building the gate needs the tutor's name before the first class.
