What home tuition costs in Guntur

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.

Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Physics home tutor in Guntur: one unhurried hour that checks the working a long college day leaves behind

For a Guntur student in Intermediate, or in Class 11 or 12 on CBSE, physics often arrives in a week that is full before it starts: college or school, entrance practice, a test on Sunday and a stack of problem sheets. Lectures explain the chapter. What they rarely do is sit with one student's page of working, find the step where the answer went astray and make sure that step is right next time. A home physics tutor exists for exactly that job. NXTutors suggests two or three tutors who know your child's board and target exam and who can reach your locality at a sensible hour. You see their fees before deciding, and the first lesson is a free demo.

Four papers, one subject: how does each treat physics?

A senior student may be aiming at the board and an entrance exam at once. The topics overlap; the way marks are won does not, so decide with the tutor which paper leads this term.

Physics for Guntur's senior students: four papers side by side, with the practice each one calls for
PaperPhysics in itScoringPractise
Intermediate (BIEAP)Examined publicly at the close of First Year and again of Second YearThe board's own scheme, on bie.ap.gov.inAnswers written in full from the prescribed book
CBSE Class 12 (042)A 70-mark theory paper of 33 questions, all compulsory, and a practical worth 30No calculator in the hallDerivations, labelled figures, case items
JEE Main 2026A physics block of 25: twenty option-based, five needing a numberFour marks gained per correct answer, one lost per wrong answerLong problems, each error reviewed
NEET (UG) 2026Physics was 45 questions out of 180, so 180 of the 720 marks, written with pen and paperThe same four-for-right, one-off-for-wrong rulePrecision at NCERT level, less guessing

The conducting body, not a school board, publishes each entrance syllabus, and a topic one board has cut may still be tested; check the latest bulletin on nta.ac.in before striking anything off. How we match for each exam is set out on our JEE home tutor in Guntur and NEET home tutor in Guntur pages, and the national JEE physics and NEET physics tutor pages go deeper into the subject.

What should an Intermediate student want from a physics tutor?

Most State-syllabus students in Guntur meet senior physics in Intermediate, which the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh runs as a two-year stage with public examinations for both years. The board writes and revises its own syllabus and scheme; read them on bie.ap.gov.in rather than in an inherited guide. Three things follow for tuition:

  • First Year is not a warm-up. It is examined on its own, and its mechanics supplies the vectors, graphs and units that Second Year leans on throughout. Help that begins early in First Year spares a lot of repair later.
  • Written answers fade without practice. A week spent mostly on objective questions can wear away the habit of setting out a derivation or a reasoned explanation. One home session given to board-style writing keeps it sharp.
  • The prescribed book leads. Board papers and the set textbook come first, and entrance material is added afterwards, not the reverse.

For the rest of the Intermediate course, see the AP board tutors in Guntur page.

What does the CBSE Class 12 physics paper look like in 2026-27?

The design is unchanged from last session, and the 70 theory marks are spread across four groups of NCERT chapters:

CBSE Class 12 physics, 2026-27: theory marks by chapter group and a tutoring note for each
Chapter groupMarksTutoring note
Electrostatics through to alternating current33Nearly half the paper; field, circuit and induction problems every week
Optics with electromagnetic waves18Ray diagrams and sign conventions until they are automatic
Dual nature; atoms and nuclei12Short numericals and graph reading
Semiconductor electronics7Transistors and logic gates are no longer in it, so discard older notes on them

Section A opens with sixteen one-mark questions, of which twelve are multiple-choice and four assertion–reason. Section B then asks five two-mark questions, C seven of three marks, D a pair of four-mark case studies, and E three five-mark long answers, making 33 in all. A little under two-fifths of the marks reward plain recall. The paper supplies the constants, and no calculator may be used. There is one main board exam in Class 12. Our Class 12 physics strategies list the derivations that recur, and the Class 12 physics tutor page shows a month-by-month plan.

How much practical preparation can happen at home?

More than families expect, and entrance classes seldom touch it. CBSE's practical is out of 30:

  • Two experiments, 7 marks apiece, 14 together.
  • The record, 5 marks. It must hold no fewer than eight experiments and six activities, split evenly between the two sections, along with the project report.
  • An activity and the investigatory project, 3 marks each.
  • The viva, 5 marks.

Equipment stays in the lab, yet a tutor at home can go through each record entry, practise precautions and sources of error, and hold a mock viva: why take repeated readings, what does the gradient of this graph mean? Intermediate students should ask their college how their own practical is organised and assessed.

If entrance classes cover every chapter, what is left for a home tutor?

Plenty, as long as the home session is not a second lecture. Three tasks tend to slip through a crowded week:

  • The unfinished pile. A big class moves at one speed. Sheet problems the student abandoned, or copied without understanding, are reworked at a pace that suits one person.
  • The written paper. Objective drills do not rehearse full derivations, neat diagrams or practical write-ups, and the board still marks all three.
  • What the test is really saying. Instead of looking only at the total, the tutor labels every lost mark: an idea not yet understood, a slip of the pen, or a question better left alone. The coming week is built from those labels.

For the wider choice, read our pieces on a coaching class or a home tutor for JEE and the NEET version of that question. Either way, place the home slot where it cannot clash with college hours.

Which four-step layout should every physics answer follow?

Watching how a student sets out a solution tells you a lot. Ask the tutor to require these four steps on every problem until they become habit:

  1. Sketch. Directions, axes or rays drawn before a single formula.
  2. Principle. A sentence naming the law, for instance conservation of momentum or Kirchhoff's rules.
  3. Numbers with units. Units written on each line, so a dimensional mistake is caught at once.
  4. Reality check. Is the sign sensible, and is the size believable?

A mistakes notebook makes the routine stick. Each entry holds the question, the original attempt left untouched, one line on what went wrong, and a fresh solution a few days later. Bring that notebook, or a couple of recent test papers, to the free demo; a good tutor will spot the weak step from them before starting to teach.

Can a physics tutor reach these six Guntur localities after college?

Senior students often return home late, so physics is usually an evening lesson, and whether it happens on time depends on the tutor's route and the directions you give. You can see tutors area by area on our Guntur page.

Evening physics lessons in six Guntur localities: the setting, the directions to give, and a tip

PattabhipuramApartment blocks and houses along Pattabhipuram RoadA pin, because some entrances sit on side roadsGive the tutor the college test calendar
Chandramouli NagarResidential, called green and wide-roaded by residentsRoad name plus a nearby landmarkA fixed weekly evening tends to hold well

When college overruns, switch that evening to an online lesson with the same tutor. The Brodipet and Arundelpet and Brindavan Gardens and Pattabhipuram zone pages offer more on timing.

ISC, IB or IGCSE physics, and the right year to begin

  • ISC. The theory paper sits beside practical work and a project, and CISCE examiners look for explanation, not one-line replies. Confirm the tutor knows the syllabus for your child's exam year.
  • IB Diploma. Physics is organised into five themes labelled by letter. The exams supply 80% of the final grade; the other 20% comes from an investigation that the student plans and reports independently. Our IB physics SL and HL guide explains more.
  • Cambridge IGCSE. Entry is at Core or Extended. Moving to an Indian board afterwards usually means extra time on vectors and graphs.

Specialists for these courses are scarcer, so mention the course in your first message; online teaching widens the pool. Whatever the board, the first senior year is the natural time to start, since its mechanics feeds the whole of the second. See the Class 11 physics tutor page and the stream choice guide.

What do physics home tutors in Guntur charge?

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Each tutor names a rate. Useful questions when comparing: which paper have you taught most recently, Intermediate, CBSE, JEE Main, JEE Advanced or NEET? How late can you come? Could one lesson a week be online? Fees appear before the demo, and our Guntur home tuition fees guide suggests more.

How do you ask for a physics shortlist in Guntur?

Send the year and board, the main goal (board paper, JEE or NEET), the days of college and entrance classes, your locality and a landmark, and the evenings that remain free. We return two or three physics tutors with fees, and you choose one for a free demo. If it is not a good fit, another demo follows, and moving to a different tutor later is free. Where nobody suitable can come at that time, we suggest an online or mixed plan. Tutors who join go through an ID check; the Verified badge appears only after the ID check is complete (how the ID check works). We are based in Sector 66, Gurugram, and teach online across India. Physics Home Tutor in Guntur: common questions

How do physics tutors in Guntur price Intermediate and entrance lessons?

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Guntur physics tutors set their own fees. Ask which paper each taught recently, how late they can come, and whether one lesson a week can be online.

How does NXTutors shortlist physics tutors for a student in Guntur?

NXTutors shortlists two or three physics tutors who know the student's board and target exam and can reach the Guntur locality at a workable hour. Each fee is shown before you decide. The first lesson is a free demo, another demo follows if the fit is wrong, and switching tutor later is free.

Why should a Guntur student get physics help early in Intermediate First Year?

A Guntur student should get physics help early in First Year because BIEAP holds a public examination at the end of each Intermediate year. First Year mechanics is examined on its own and also supplies the vectors, graphs and units that Second Year uses throughout, so early help saves later repair work.

How are the 70 theory marks split in CBSE Class 12 physics for Guntur students?

For Guntur students, CBSE Class 12 physics gives 33 of the 70 theory marks to electrostatics through alternating current. Optics with electromagnetic waves takes 18, dual nature with atoms and nuclei 12, and semiconductor electronics 7. Transistors and logic gates are no longer in the course, so older notes on them can go.

What does the CBSE physics practical record need for a Guntur Class 12 student?

A Guntur Class 12 student's CBSE physics record needs at least eight experiments and six activities, split evenly between the two sections, plus the project report. The record earns 5 of the 30 practical marks. A home tutor can check each entry, rehearse precautions and sources of error, and run a mock viva.

How much physics was in JEE Main and NEET in 2026 for Guntur aspirants?

For Guntur aspirants, JEE Main 2026 Paper 1 had 25 physics questions, twenty with options and five numerical. NEET (UG) 2026 had 45 physics questions out of 180, worth 180 of 720 marks. Both gave four marks for a right answer and took one off for a wrong one. Check nta.ac.in each year.

What does a home physics tutor add for a Guntur student already in entrance classes?

A home physics tutor adds one-to-one work that a Guntur entrance class rarely has time for. That means reworking abandoned sheet problems at the student's pace, keeping written board answers and practical preparation alive, and labelling every lost test mark as a concept gap, a slip or a question better skipped.

What directions help a physics tutor reach Arundelpet or Chuttugunta in the evening?

In Arundelpet, give the line and door number with the building name, and mention that Guntur Junction's rear entrance opens on that side. In Chuttugunta, the circle is the landmark everyone knows. Many Chuttugunta parents keep office hours, so say whether an adult will be home during the evening lesson.

Why do Vinayak Nagar and Pattabhipuram families need a map pin for physics lessons?

Vinayak Nagar and Pattabhipuram families should share a map pin because finding the door is harder there. In Vinayak Nagar the streets look alike, which matters more after dark. In Pattabhipuram, some apartment entrances sit on side roads rather than Pattabhipuram Road, so a pin with the flat number saves the tutor time.
