Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Yes. NXTutors finds home tutors for Mu 1, the plotted sector of Greater Noida that lies directly east of Omicron 3. Most homes here are independent houses, so the tutor usually comes straight to your door with no gate pass. Share your block and house number with the class, board and subject, and you receive two or three matched tutors who travel to Mu 1 or teach online.
You can compare every tutor's fee before booking, the first class is a free demo, and changing tutor later is free. The thing to settle early is the route, since most tutors ride in on a two-wheeler.

Mu 1 is a sector of houses. On Square Yards, independent houses make up almost all the homes buyers look for here and the great majority of homes offered for rent. Apartments are a small part of the market for now. On 99acres the sector is described as houses and villas on GNIDA plots, with only a few flats.
The rental side has its own pattern. Most homes advertised for rent are one-bedroom or two-bedroom portions, with some single-room units, inside houses and builder floors. In plain terms, many owners live on one floor and let out another. A tenant family on an upper floor may share the main gate and staircase with the owner, so it is worth telling the owner that a tutor will visit on fixed days.
Owner families in larger houses may have children across several classes, and a tutor who can take two siblings back to back is a sensible thing to ask for.
Change is on the way. Hero Realty bought a land parcel in Sector Mu at a Greater Noida authority auction, on a 60-metre road, and Square Yards lists the company's new-launch Hero Homes Leafsong Retreat under Mu 1, a single high-rise on about four and a half acres. When that project is ready, part of Mu 1 will have a gated tower with its own visitor rules, unlike the open streets around it. Champa Estate is another project portals place in the sector.
On OpenStreetMap, Mu 1's streets are laid out around small neighbourhood parks, and two bus stops are mapped inside the sector.
Public material on Mu 1 is thin and comes mostly from property-portal reviews. The themes below are paraphrased, not quoted.
Residents on 99acres say markets are within walking distance. For tuition, that means a child can pick up a notebook or graph paper before a session without a car trip, and a tutor can grab a snack on the way between two homes.
The same reviewers describe the roads as well maintained. A tutor riding a two-wheeler at dusk benefits from that, and it makes an evening slot after school more practical than in sectors where internal lanes are rough.
Reviewers rate public transport as reasonable rather than easy. A tutor without a vehicle can manage, but a slot that leaves time to find an auto for the return trip helps them keep coming.
Because houses are spread across the plots, a tutor teaching in Mu 1 rarely has two students in one building. Families who want several sessions a week are more likely to keep a tutor who also teaches in Omicron 3 or Mu 2 next door, since it shortens their round.
If your Mu 1 house has a room to spare, a spare room set up as a study, with a whiteboard and a shelf of past papers, makes home tuition here feel close to a small classroom and helps a child switch into study mode.
There is no metro station inside Mu 1. Residents name GNIDA Office on the Aqua Line as the usual station, and the Aqua Line's depot and its terminus, Depot Station, lie to the north-west of the sector. A tutor arriving by metro finishes the trip by e-rickshaw or auto.
Boraki station, now listed as Greater Noida railway station, is on this side of the city. It is currently a small three-platform stop on the Kanpur–Delhi section of the Howrah–New Delhi main line, used by families for longer journeys rather than daily tuition trips. Plans exist for a large transport hub there and an Aqua Line extension from Depot Station, but these are plans, not open services.
Most regular tutors reach Mu 1 by two-wheeler from Omicron 3, Mu 2, Xu 1 or Omicron 1. Inside the sector, the roads are wide enough to park outside the house.
In a plotted sector, a tutor's first visit is often spent hunting for the number. Send a map pin, the block and plot number, the colour of the gate, and a park or corner you face. If your floor has a separate entrance, say so.
Inside Mu 1, traffic is light, so a tutor who lives nearby can manage a slot soon after school. A tutor crossing the city should avoid the evening rush near Pari Chowk, either by starting earlier or by teaching at the weekend. Whatever you choose, keep one fixed weekday and time; a tutor who rides between several spread-out houses plans a whole round around fixed slots, and a steady slot is the one they are least likely to drop.
If you want a woman tutor, say so when you send the request; our woman tutors in Greater Noida page explains how matching works. Tutors who join go through an ID check, described on our ID check page. It is an ID review and not a police or background check, so talk with the tutor properly at the demo.
Requests from houses in Mu 1 are mostly for CBSE, with ICSE and ISC next. UP Board families also ask, often for a tutor who explains in Hindi as well as English; see UP Board tutors in Greater Noida. A few families look for IB or IGCSE support.
A house changes one thing for a tutor: room for two lessons at once. Siblings on different boards, or in very different classes, can each have a tutor at the same hour in separate rooms. For the full picture before choosing, read how the main boards differ.
In a house with grandparents at home, a young child often already has someone reading with them. A primary tutor can build on that with phonics, handwriting and number work in short sessions. Ask the tutor to leave a small task for the family to check before the next visit.
One subject-mixed tutor usually covers maths, science and English. In a spread-out sector, two longer sessions a week can be easier to keep than five short ones. Our English home tutors for Greater Noida page covers reading and writing support at this stage.
Class 9 is where board habits start. Ask for chapter tests in the board's own style and one full paper a month. Our Class 9 home tutors in Greater Noida page has more on planning this year well before Class 10 begins.
Senior students usually want a specialist for each hard subject. A physics or chemistry tutor may come from further across the city, so a weekend morning slot in the house often works better than a weekday evening. If school science is the weak point, see our science home tutors page. Students with entrance coaching can use the home tutor for board answers, practicals and chapters the coaching class covered quickly.
Use only official board sites for dates: cbse.gov.in, cisce.org and upmsp.edu.in. For a family in Mu 1, the useful planning is practical. Book extra sessions early, because tutors who work across the Omicron, Mu and Xu sectors fill their evenings quickly. Give the tutor a quiet room even if guests visit. If a tutor cannot ride in on a stormy or very foggy evening, take that class online so the revision plan holds.
Home tuition fits Mu 1 well. There is no gate to clear, houses have room, and a tutor from the next sector reaches you on wide roads. The catch is that the tutor needs their own transport.
Online tuition brings in specialists from anywhere, which helps for IB, IGCSE, ISC or senior sciences. Good internet and a desk away from family noise matter more than the device.
A coaching centre means leaving the sector, usually towards Pari Chowk or Knowledge Park, and coming back after dark. It suits older, self-motivated students preparing for entrance tests. Many Mu 1 families use a centre for that and a home tutor for school subjects.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
In Mu 1 the quote depends on the class and board, the subject, the length and number of sessions, and travel. A tutor from Omicron 3 or Mu 2 can come often for shorter sessions; one riding in from across Pari Chowk may prefer fewer, longer ones. Teaching two siblings back to back in the same house is something to raise with the tutor when you discuss timing.
Add up the month before agreeing, and ask about practice papers, notes and missed sessions. Each tutor's fee is on their profile before the free demo.
We could not source a public library or community reading room in Mu 1. Most houses have a room that can be set aside for study, which is the simplest option. The small parks mapped in the sector suit a short break between subjects.

AI-first tutoring, with real teachers
You tell us the class, board, subject and where in Mu 1 you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Where AI stops and people start
Move out to the wider area or in to nearby sectors. Tutors usually travel short distances, so the closest areas are the most useful places to look.

Finding a home tutor for Mu 1 starts with a short note from you. Tell us the class, the board, the subject that worries you and the evenings that are free, and we come back with two or three tutors who fit. The first class with any of them is a free demo, so your child meets the tutor before you decide anything.
On NXTutors, Mu 1 is one of nine pages in the Omicron, Mu & Xu zone of Greater Noida. Tutors who live in Mu 1, or who have said they will travel to it, appear at the head of this page. If nobody has done that yet, you will see tutors from Mu 2, the Omicron pages and the Xu pages, then the wider city, then home tutors based in Noida, Ghaziabad or Delhi, and finally online teachers. Every card gives its own reason for being there.
For Accountancy or Economics in the senior classes, ask the tutor how they set practice questions between lessons and how they mark them. If Maths or Physics is the struggle, the basics may need rebuilding first, so mention which chapters feel shaky rather than only the marks on the last report.
