Tutors who join go through an ID check. Tell us the class, board and your area: we share two or three matched tutors, each with their fee, and the first class is a free demo, at home or online.
Book a free demo classAcross NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

To find a good maths home tutor in Greater Noida, start with where you live, then the course. A family in a Greater Noida West township and a family in a plotted house in Delta 2 need different tutors, because the tutor gets to them in different ways. After that comes the course: CBSE Standard or Basic, ICSE, ISC, IB or IGCSE, and the class band. NXTutors shortlists two or three maths tutors who fit both, shows you each fee up front, and the first class with the tutor you choose is a free demo. This guide explains how that plays out across the city's six zones and what each board's maths paper rewards.
Greater Noida has grown in two quite different ways. North-west of the Hindon, Greater Noida West (often called Noida Extension) is mostly high-rise group housing and large townships, built fast around a few busy junctions. The main city to the south is laid out in sectors named after Greek letters. Alpha, Beta and Gamma are the oldest, and many of the sectors are plotted, with independent houses and builder floors.
For maths tuition this shapes three practical things. The first is entry. In a tower the tutor has to be approved at the gate or on the society app. In a plotted house they ring the bell. The second is supply. Dense townships usually have tutors already teaching in the next tower, while quieter plotted sectors may draw on a smaller local pool. The third is travel. Some sectors sit near an Aqua Line station. Others depend on a two-wheeler, because autos and buses rarely come inside. We match on all three, not just the sector number. You can open any sector on our Greater Noida page to see the tutors nearest to it.
We group Greater Noida's sectors into six zones for matching. The table shows what a parent should expect in each one when arranging regular maths sessions.
| Zone | Typical housing | How tutors usually arrive | What to plan for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Greater Noida West | High-rise societies and townships; Shahberi has builder floors | Two-wheeler, car or shared auto; no working metro station inside the zone | Gate or app approval; evening jams at Char Murti and Ek Murti chowks |
| Alpha–Delta and Pari Chowk | Plotted houses and builder floors in the older sectors; group housing in P-4 | Aqua Line to Alpha 1 or Delta 1, then walk or e-rickshaw | Doorstep entry; traffic around Pari Chowk and Jagat Farm at peak hours |
| Omega, Chi and Phi | Gated colonies, societies and plotted lanes | Two-wheeler, or metro to Pari Chowk or Knowledge Park II plus an auto | Buses and autos are thin inside the Chi sectors; earlier slots hold better |
| Pi, Sigma and Sectors 36–37 | Mostly plots and houses; societies in Pi 2 and Sigma 4 | Two-wheeler, or metro to Delta 1 then an auto | Clear map pins on newer streets; parking can be tight in Sector 37 |
| Zeta and Eta | Societies with villas and plots; Eta 1 largely houses | Metro to GNIDA Office, Delta 1 or Depot, then an auto | Limited public transport; a tutor from Zeta, Eta or Delta is steadiest |
| Omicron, Mu and Xu | Plotted houses and villas; societies in Omicron 1; authority flats in Mu 2 | Mostly two-wheeler; GNIDA Office is the usual metro stop | In Xu 2 and Omicron 1A, autos are hard to find inside the sector |
A few sectors show how this works day to day. In Gaur City 2, the towers stand close together, so a tutor who already teaches in the township can often add another student on the same evening. Delta 2 is laid out in blocks G to K of plots and ready-built houses, so the tutor comes straight to your door. In Xu 2, residents say autos and buses rarely enter the sector, so a tutor with their own two-wheeler is the practical choice. In Sector P-4, the Builders Area, some societies allow small-group sessions in common rooms, subject to their rules, which suits neighbours whose children are in the same class.
Maths needs regular, unhurried sessions. A lesson that starts late because the tutor was stuck at a junction loses the time a student needs to practise. Greater Noida has a few fixed points that decide how reliable a slot will be:
Most schools begin their session in April, so a slot fixed then, before the traffic pattern of the school year sets in, tends to last. In gated societies, add the tutor as a regular visitor once rather than at every lesson.
On this page, Ajay Vatsyayan writes about IB, IGCSE and ISC maths, and Abhinandan Tiwary writes about Class 10 CBSE and ICSE maths. The school's board matters less than the exact paper your child will sit, so we match on that paper.
At this stage the work is fractions, decimals, ratio, negative numbers and the first steps in algebra. A tutor who is willing to go back a year and rebuild will do more good than one who races ahead. One or two sessions a week is usually enough, and short written tests every fortnight show whether the gaps are closing.
In Class 10, Mathematics Standard (041) and Mathematics Basic (241) are both three-hour papers out of 80, with 20 marks of internal assessment. CBSE's 2026-27 curriculum says about half of board questions are competency-focused: case-based, source-based, data and application questions. From 2026 Class 10 has two board exams: a compulsory main exam, and an optional second exam that lets students improve in up to three subjects. The 2027 dates have not been announced, so check cbse.gov.in. The CBSE Class 10 maths preparation guide and our Class 10 maths tutor page go chapter by chapter.
The CISCE syllabus for the 2027 examination lists one three-hour, 80-mark paper plus 20 marks of internal assessment. The paper rewards speed, neat working and commercial maths as well as algebra and geometry. Our ICSE Class 10 maths guide covers the paper in detail.
Match on the exact course. For the IB that means Analysis and Approaches or Applications and Interpretation, at SL or HL, and a tutor may guide the exploration but must never write it. For IGCSE it means the Core or Extended tier. Specialists for these courses are fewer, and in sectors away from the metro an online tutor is often the realistic way to get one.
Senior maths is where the board paper and entrance preparation pull on the same hours, so the plan has to serve both.
For a student already in coaching, one or two home sessions a week spent on unfinished sheet problems, test analysis and board-style written working is usually the most useful work for a tutor. Our JEE maths topic-wise guide shows how to split the syllabus across the two years.
The free demo tells you whether the tutor can teach. The first month tells you whether the arrangement works. A sound first month has four parts:
If the month does not come together, tell us. We arrange a demo with the next tutor on your shortlist, and switching tutor is free.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Each tutor sets their own fee. Where a fee falls in that range depends on the course and class, the tutor's experience with that course, how far they travel to reach your zone at your time, and how many sessions you take each week. Online sessions with the same tutor can cost less because no travel is involved. You see every shortlisted fee before the demo.
Send us your child's class, the exact maths course, your sector, society or block, the times that suit you and a budget. We check each tutor's identity as part of shortlisting. You get two or three matched maths tutors with their fees, and you choose one for a free demo class. If no specialist can reach your zone at your time, we suggest a hybrid or online plan. NXTutors offers online tutoring across India and is based in Sector 66, Gurugram. For how maths tuition works beyond Greater Noida, see our main maths home tutor page.

To book a maths home tutor in Greater Noida, send NXTutors your child's class, exact maths course, sector, society or block, suitable times and a budget. You get two or three matched maths tutors, each fee shown before the first class. The first class is a free demo, switching tutor later is free, and online or hybrid covers zones no specialist reaches.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Each maths tutor in Greater Noida sets their own fee. The course and class, the tutor's experience with it, travel to your zone at your time and sessions a week move the figure; online sessions can cost less.
Yes, many Greater Noida families mix one home maths session a week for hand-written practice with one online session for doubts and timed tests. Online sessions avoid peak-hour traffic at the chowks and Pari Chowk. They can also bring in an IB or IGCSE specialist who lives outside your zone.
Yes, NXTutors matches maths tutors across all six Greater Noida zones, from Greater Noida West to the Omicron, Mu and Xu sectors. The others are Alpha–Delta and Pari Chowk; Omega, Chi and Phi; Pi, Sigma and Sectors 36–37; and Zeta and Eta. Tell us your sector and time, because travel at that hour matters more than the sector number.
No, Greater Noida West has no working metro station yet; the nearest is Noida Sector 51 on the Aqua Line. An extension ending near Kisan Chowk in Sector 4 is planned, not open. For now, tutors in Greater Noida West mostly travel by two-wheeler, car or shared auto, so a tutor already teaching nearby is usually steadiest.
A Greater Noida Class 10 student should choose CBSE Maths Standard or Basic with the school, based on comfort with problem-solving and plans for maths in Class 11. Both are three-hour papers out of 80 with 20 internal marks. Standard carries more application and analysis, while Basic leans more on remembering and understanding.
Yes, for Greater Noida ISC students sitting in 2027 onwards, Class 12 maths is one 80-mark paper of seven compulsory units, with no Section B or C choice. There are also 20 marks of project work, and calculus carries 35 marks. Older question banks still show the split, so make sure the tutor teaches to your child's exam year.
Yes, a maths home tutor in Greater Noida can work alongside JEE coaching through one or two sessions a week on unfinished sheet problems and test analysis. The tutor also keeps up the full written working that CBSE and ISC papers reward. Entrance maths leans on Class 11 topics such as conic sections, sequences and complex numbers.
To get a maths tutor into a gated Greater Noida society, add them as a regular visitor on the society app or with the gate before the first class. Share your tower and flat number so each lesson starts on time. In plotted sectors such as Alpha, Beta or Delta, the tutor usually comes straight to your door.
The first month with a maths tutor in Greater Noida should include a week-one diagnostic, a written plan, marked working and a slot that holds. The diagnostic tests back from the current chapter to find the first gap. Four weeks also show whether the tutor's route through the chowks or metro holds at your time; if not, move the slot or go online once a week.
CBSE Class 12 maths practice in Greater Noida should give the five calculus chapters the largest share, since calculus carries 35 of the 80 theory marks. The paper has 38 compulsory questions in five sections over three hours. The 20 internal marks come from periodic tests and maths activities with a record, activity test and viva.
