Tutors who join go through an ID check. Tell us the class, board and your area: we share two or three matched tutors, each with their fee, and the first class is a free demo, at home or online.
Book a free demo classAcross NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

For a child of three, four or five, a good tutor brings a bag of picture cards, a storybook and a lot of patience, and leaves after half an hour with the child asking when they will be back. In Greater Noida the teaching itself is the same whether you live in a Noida Extension tower or a house in the Sigma sectors; what changes is the visit. One family has to get a stranger past a society gate and a lift lobby, another has to explain a half-built street with no landmark yet, and a third has a tutor who must cross Pari Chowk in the afternoon. The NXTutors Academic Team wrote this page to help with both halves: what an early-years session should achieve, and how to arrange regular, calm visits in your part of the city.
Most do not need one. Playschool, outdoor time and an adult who reads with them each night already give a young child most of what this stage asks for. It is worth paying for regular visits only when one of these is true:
A tutor is not the right first call if you are concerned about your child's speech, hearing, movement or attention. Speak to your paediatrician first; a tutor can support learning but cannot judge development.
Ask any tutor you are considering a simple question: what will my child be able to do after three months that they cannot do now? Vague praise is a poor answer. The table shows the kind of specific goals and activities to expect.
| Stage | Goals for the term | What happens on the floor | What you should notice |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nursery (about 3 to 4) | Listening, new words, strong small fingers | Finger rhymes, sorting toys by colour, tearing and sticking paper, naming things in a picture book | Your child repeats new words at dinner and asks for a rhyme by name |
| LKG (about 4 to 5) | First sounds, counting real objects, a steadier grip | Sound hunts round the room, counting spoons or steps, crayon work on large paper, simple matching cards | Counting a small pile without skipping, and picking out the first sound of a word |
| UKG (about 5 to 6) | Blending sounds, comparing numbers, finishing a short task | Building three-letter words with tiles, more-or-less games, retelling a story in order, short board games | Reading a simple word unaided and staying with one activity for ten minutes |
Thirty to forty-five minutes is long enough. Within that, a tutor should switch activity every few minutes, move between the table and the floor, and stop while your child is still enjoying it. Rows of copied letters may look like progress in a notebook, but a child who starts to dread the doorbell has learned the wrong lesson.
Greater Noida's schools follow several boards. CBSE is the most widespread, ICSE has its own following, a smaller group of families choose the IB or Cambridge, and because the city is in Uttar Pradesh, schools affiliated to the state board, UPMSP, are part of the picture too. For a four-year-old the board matters far less than the language in which school will teach, so tell us the medium when you ask.
The state board itself, the Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh, was set up in 1921 at Prayagraj to prescribe courses and conduct the High School and Intermediate examinations, and its published syllabi cover Classes 9 to 12. It sets nothing for pre-primary children. For what each board expects once school begins in earnest, see our CBSE, ICSE and IB pages for Greater Noida, and our new UP Board tutors in Greater Noida page.
Even if your child is headed for a CBSE or state-board school, the two international programmes describe good early-years practice clearly, and they make a handy checklist for judging any tutor.
IB Primary Years Programme in the early years. For children from three to five, the IB describes learning as inquiry carried out through play, with social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth treated together rather than as separate subjects. In practice, a tutor working with a PYP child should start from what the child wants to explore that day and build the counting or the new words into it.
Cambridge Early Years. Cambridge's programme runs from age three to six and is described as play-based and child-centred. Its six curriculum areas include communication and literacy, mathematics, physical development, and personal, social and emotional development. The message for parents is that taking turns, using scissors and talking confidently to a new adult count as real progress, alongside letters and numbers.
A young child is usually freshest mid-afternoon after a rest, or a weekend morning. Whether a tutor can be there at that hour depends on where you live. The six zones we use for Greater Noida work quite differently:
| Zone | The usual arrival | What to arrange first |
|---|---|---|
| Greater Noida West | A tutor already visiting the next tower, on foot or by two-wheeler | Approval on the society app, and an afternoon slot that keeps clear of Gaur Chowk and Ek Murti Chowk |
| Alpha–Delta and Pari Chowk | Aqua Line to ALPHA 1 or DELTA 1, then a short e-rickshaw ride | Nothing at a gate; just a time that avoids the Jagat Farm evening crowd |
| Omega, Chi and Phi | Two-wheeler, or metro to Pari Chowk or Knowledge Park II | Gate details for gated communities; a daytime slot in the quieter Phi streets |
| Pi, Sigma and Sectors 36–37 | A tutor from a nearby sector on a scooter | A map pin and a landmark if your street is still filling up |
| Zeta and Eta | A tutor living in Zeta, Eta or the Delta sectors | The exact tower and gate in the newer Eta 2 societies |
| Omicron, Mu and Xu | Almost always a two-wheeler, since autos seldom come inside | Confirming at the demo how the tutor will travel each week |
Whatever the zone, keep to one weekday and one time. Small children settle with a visitor who arrives when they expect, and a predictable slot is also easier for the tutor to keep.
Rarely as the main plan. Children this age learn by handling things: beads, sand, crayons, cut-out shapes. They also need an adult close enough to steady a hand on a pencil, and half an hour in front of a laptop is beyond most of them.
A short video call does have a place as a stand-in. On a day the tutor is unwell, or when a monsoon downpour makes the roads slow, ten or fifteen minutes of a song and a picture story keeps the routine alive, as long as a parent sits beside the child and holds the book. Our article on home and online tutors covers the choice for older children.
The first class with the tutor you choose is free. With a small child, watch your child more than the tutor:
If it does not feel right, we set up a separate demo with the next tutor on your shortlist, and switching tutor at any later point is free. Keep sessions in a shared room with an adult at home. Tutors who join go through an ID check; it confirms who they are but is not a police check, so your own view at the demo still counts. Our demo class checklist has more to look for.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Early-years sessions are shorter than lessons for older children, so each visit usually costs less. Every tutor sets their own fee, and a long ride through a busy junction at your chosen time may be reflected in it. Each shortlisted tutor's fee is shown before the demo. Our pricing guide and home tuition fees in Greater Noida help you set a budget.
In Pi 2, the quieter half of Sector Pi, most families live in group-housing societies set among wide roads and green belts, so put the tutor on the visitor list before the first afternoon. Sigma 2 is mostly residential plots in gated colonies where families build their own homes; a guard notes the tutor's name at the entrance, and on streets still filling up a location pin saves a wrong turn. Omicron 2 is compact houses and villas laid out around parks, with no society gate, though tutors generally ride in because public transport inside the sector is thin.
Zeta 2, on the eastern edge of the city, is mainly ready apartments in societies, and a tutor coming from Noida would pair the metro to GNIDA Office with an auto. In Beta 1, two- and three-bedroom houses sit near the J Block park, which suits a short outdoor break in the middle of a session. Over in Greater Noida West, Sector 16C is almost all apartment towers, and the density means a tutor already teaching in a neighbouring tower can often fit in one more child.
Once your child starts Class 1, see primary home tutors in Greater Noida. To begin, send your child's age, the preschool or school, the language spoken at home, your sector and tower or block, and the afternoons that are free, and you receive two or three matched tutors with their fees. Request a free demo, browse tutor profiles, or find your sector on home tutors in Greater Noida.
To arrange a nursery or KG home tutor in Greater Noida, send NXTutors your child's age, preschool, home language, sector and tower or block, and free afternoons. You receive two or three matched tutors, each fee shown before the first class. The first class is a free demo, and switching tutor at any later point is free.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Nursery and KG visits in Greater Noida are short, so each usually costs less than a lesson for an older child. Tutors set their own fees, travel at your hour can affect the quote, and every fee is visible before the free demo.
Online classes are rarely suitable as the main plan for a nursery child in Greater Noida, because young children learn by handling objects and need an adult close by. Home visits work better. A short video call with a song or story can stand in when the tutor is unwell or monsoon rain slows the roads, with a parent beside the child.
Most nursery and KG children in Greater Noida do not need a home tutor; playschool, play and a parent who reads aloud cover most needs. A tutor helps when no adult is free in the afternoons, when school will teach in a language the child rarely hears, after a mid-year move, or when UKG basics are still shaky.
An LKG or UKG home session in Greater Noida should last thirty to forty-five minutes for most children of four to six. Within that time the tutor should change activity every few minutes, mixing stories, sound games, counting real objects and drawing. Stop while the child is still keen, so they look forward to the next visit.
A Greater Noida nursery tutor should follow the language your child's school will teach in. For an English-medium school, the tutor runs songs and stories in English while the family keeps the home language going. For a Hindi-medium school, choose a tutor comfortable reading aloud in Hindi. Mention the medium in your request.
Yes, a nursery tutor can usually reach a Greater Noida West society, where a tutor already teaching in a nearby tower can often add your child. Approve the tutor on the visitor app before the first class and share the tower and flat number. Afternoon slots that avoid Gaur Chowk and Ek Murti Chowk traffic are easiest to keep.
A UKG child in Greater Noida working with a tutor should be blending sounds, comparing numbers and finishing a short task by the end of the term. Activities include building three-letter words with tiles, more-or-less games and retelling a story in order. Look for your child reading a simple word unaided and staying with one activity for ten minutes.
A Greater Noida parent should speak to a paediatrician first, not a nursery tutor, if worried about a child's speech, hearing, movement or attention. A tutor can support learning but cannot judge development. Once the doctor has advised, a tutor can still help with stories, sounds and counting games at home.
In a nursery free demo in Greater Noida, watch your child more than the tutor: by the halfway point they should be joining in. Look for several short activities, real materials such as cards or beads, and a calm response to a refusal. Afterwards, expect specific remarks, such as which letter sounds your child knows and mixes up.
