Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Yes, NXTutors finds home tutors for families in Eta 1. Most homes here are independent houses on authority plots, so the tutor comes straight to your door. Send us the plot address, class, board and subject; we suggest two or three matched tutors who travel to Eta 1 from Delta 2, Zeta 1, Eta 2 and nearby areas, or online tutors where that fits. You see every fee before booking, the first class is a free demo, and a change of tutor later is free.

Eta 1 is a sector of houses. The authority laid it out with a large stock of residential plots, and many families have built independent homes on them; flats are a smaller part of the picture, with a few apartment blocks such as Springville Apartment. That makes Eta 1 look and feel more like the older Delta and Beta sectors to its west than like the tower-filled Zeta 1 to its east.
On a portal's distance list, Eta 1 is the Zeta–Eta sector closest to the established Delta belt: Delta 2 is under a kilometre away and Delta 1 a little over one. That closeness shapes daily life. Shopping, banking and errands usually happen in Delta 2 Market or further west in Beta 2, and many tutors already teaching in the Delta sectors can add an Eta 1 house to their round.
When two or three children of different ages in one house need help, the timetable gets more involved. A house also usually has a spare room or a quiet corner that can be kept for study, which is an advantage over a small flat.
Villages such as Jaitpur and Gulistanpur lie close by, so Eta 1 sits between planned blocks and older settlements. A tutor from either side can be a practical match.
Detailed public reviews for Eta 1 alone are hard to find; the points below draw on locality pages for the wider Zeta–Eta area, turned into practical advice.
Seeing each fee before the demo and being able to switch tutor for free are standard with NXTutors, so trying a new tutor carries little risk.
The Aqua Line's GNIDA Office and Depot stations are the nearest metro points for Eta 1. GNIDA Office stands in Knowledge Park IV, one stop before Depot, which ends the line. A tutor using the metro takes an auto or e-rickshaw for the last leg. NMRC shows the last train from GNIDA Office towards Noida Sector 51 at 22:01 and from Depot at 22:00.
More often, the tutor simply rides in. Delta 2 is listed under a kilometre away and Delta 1 just over one, so a tutor based in the Delta belt reaches Eta 1 by two-wheeler without touching the main roads. A tutor from Zeta 1 or Eta 2 is similarly close. Roads named on the Eta 1 listing page include Surajpur–Kasna Road and Dadri Main Road, which carry tutors coming from further away.
Tutors starting from Pari Chowk, Alpha or Knowledge Park cross the busier junctions and may run late at peak hours. If your shortlisted tutor lives there, ask for a start time outside the office rush.
When you request, name the block, plot number and the nearest landmark, such as Delta 2 Market or a village approach road. We look first at tutors who already travel that way and never claim a tutor lives in your sector.
The right start time in Eta 1 depends on three things: when your child is home and fed after school, how the tutor travels, and who is home to open the door.
If the tutor rides in from Delta 1 or Delta 2, almost any afternoon or early-evening slot works, because the ride is short and avoids the main junctions. This is the most flexible arrangement, and it is worth asking for when you request.
If the tutor comes by metro, work backwards from the last train. GNIDA Office's final departure towards Noida Sector 51 is at 22:01, and the auto ride back to the station adds to that. A class that ends by early evening leaves a comfortable margin.
If the tutor comes by bus, pick the earliest slot your child can manage, since buses on the Zeta side are described as thinning out in the evening.
If parents work in Noida or Delhi, a slot that starts before they get home needs another adult in the house, at least for the first few weeks. Otherwise, a later online session on those days may be easier than a rushed home visit.
Once a slot is fixed, keep it steady through the term. Children settle faster when tuition is part of a predictable week.
When an Eta 1 house has more than one school-age child, scheduling becomes the main question. A few arrangements suit a house well:
Ask each shortlisted tutor how they would handle your mix; fees for combined plans are set by the tutor and shown before the demo.
Without a society desk, the arrival routine is yours to set. Send the plot number and a live map pin; tell the tutor where to park; and if anyone in the house is unwell or away, warn the tutor in advance rather than at the door. If you live in one of the few flats, such as Springville Apartment, follow the building's visitor process instead.
For the demo, keep a parent or another adult at home and use a shared room with the door open. Tutors who join NXTutors go through an ID check, described on our tutor ID process page; it confirms who the tutor is and is not a police background check. You can ask for a woman tutor; see woman home tutors.
CBSE and UP Board are the two boards Eta 1 parents raise most, with ICSE and ISC after them. In a house with several children, siblings sometimes attend schools on different boards, which is another reason to tell us each child's board separately.
A tutor working in a quiet house room can run full-length mock papers at home, which helps in board years. For CBSE children, the sample papers on cbseacademic.nic.in are the usual base; see our CBSE home tutors. The full board guide sets out the wider differences.
With a study corner already set up in the house, a primary tutor can build a daily habit: twenty minutes of reading, a page of maths and a short written task. Ask the tutor to talk to you for two minutes at the end of each week.
Middle-school maths and science often decide how Class 9 goes. A tutor who sees the child three times a week can spot weak topics early and revisit them before tests.
For board years, a Class 9 home tutor who continues into Class 10 keeps the plan continuous. In a house with space, timed practice papers on a Sunday morning are easy to arrange.
Stream subjects need specialists. A tutor from the Delta belt may cover maths or accountancy at home, while a less common subject runs online. Ask for chapter-wise tests so you can track progress.
Entrance aspirants usually need a structured programme plus board support. Many Eta 1 families combine a centre with a home tutor for school subjects. NTA posts notices for both exams on nta.ac.in.
Board exams are in the first part of the year; check each board's site (cbse.gov.in, cisce.org, upmsp.edu.in) for its dates. In Eta 1, the advantage of a house is space for full mock papers, so from December book two weekend mornings a month for timed practice with the tutor present, and keep one weekday session online if evenings get difficult.
Home tutoring is a natural fit for Eta 1's houses: a quiet room, no gate and tutors from the Delta belt a short ride away.
Online tutoring fills specialist gaps in Classes 11 and 12, IB or IGCSE subjects, and late revision. See online tutors.
A coaching centre means travel west to Knowledge Park, Alpha or Pari Chowk. Being close to the Delta belt shortens that trip somewhat compared with deeper parts of the zone, but it still adds up across a week.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
In Eta 1, what changes a quote is the class and board, the number and length of sessions, travel, and whether one visit covers more than one child. A tutor from Delta 2 has little travel to factor in; one from Pari Chowk may suggest longer, fewer visits. All fees are on the shortlist before the free demo.
For a reading room, the nearest public option we found is the authority's own library, which a study-space guide places in the GNIDA office complex in Knowledge Park IV; check hours and membership first. We found no public reading room inside Eta 1, so a quiet room at home is the main study space.

AI-first tutoring, with real teachers
You tell us the class, board, subject and where in Eta 1 you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Where AI stops and people start
Move out to the wider area or in to nearby sectors. Tutors usually travel short distances, so the closest areas are the most useful places to look.
Distances are straight-line estimates between sector centres from OpenStreetMap data; the road route is usually longer.

The Zeta & Eta zone of Greater Noida has four pages on NXTutors: Eta 1, Eta 2, Zeta 1 and Zeta 2. On the Eta 1 page, tutors who live here or who travel here are listed first, and tutors from the other three pages come next. Beyond those four pages you will meet tutors from the rest of Greater Noida, home tutors living elsewhere in the NCR, and online tutors. Each card notes why it is there.
Whatever the subject, a request brings two or three tutors chosen for your child's class and board, and the first class is a free demo. For IB or IGCSE, list the subjects and the year. For NEET, say which science needs the most work. For Economics or Accountancy, mention the chapters taught so far.
If your child in Eta 1 is younger, a home tutor who becomes a familiar face can help; if older, you may prefer an online specialist for one subject. A mix is perfectly fine. Before you book, ask the tutor how they plan the first month and how they will let you know about progress. Our IB tutors page shows more profiles.
