Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Sigma 4 is one of the sectors in the Pi, Sigma and Sectors 36–37 zone of Greater Noida. Unlike its plotted neighbours, it mixes gated villa communities and apartment societies around a set of numbered parks, so most visits involve a society gate. This guide walks through the practical side.

|---|---|
| Zone | Pi, Sigma and Sectors 36–37, Greater Noida |
| Homes | Gated villa communities, apartment societies, standalone buildings and independent houses |

Sigma 4 has more variety in its housing than most of the Sigma group. NoBroker describes the sector as a mix of gated societies, standalone buildings and independent houses, with an active rental market. Mapped on OpenStreetMap inside the sector are several named residential compounds: Stellar Sigma, Royal Apartments, BSNL Apartments and Grand Forte.
Stellar Sigma Villas is the largest of the villa projects on the portals. Square Yards lists it as a ready project of 110 units on about 4.5 acres, with large five-bedroom villas among the layouts. NoBroker describes gated villa communities in the sector with a clubhouse, landscaped gardens and round-the-clock security. On the apartment side, Square Yards lists BSNL Officers Sahkari Awas, a cooperative housing project, along with Royal Apartments and Cassia Semia Estate, and rental listings mention a Royal cooperative society on the Grand Forte site. Rental listings run from one-room studios up to four-bedroom flats and whole houses.
The sector is also notably green on the map. A main park and four numbered parks sit between the housing blocks, and earlier research by our team noted greenbelts in front of many homes. A small temple and a grocery shop are mapped inside the sector too, so not every errand needs a trip out.
For a tutor, this mix means there is no single Sigma 4 routine. A villa visit goes through an enclave gate and ends at a front door. A flat visit means a security desk, a block letter and stairs or a lift. A house on an open road is as simple as ringing the bell. The sections below take each in turn.
Sigma 4 has little written about it publicly, and the reviews that exist are on property portals rather than forums or news. Taken together with what the maps and listings show, a few themes come up, and each has a practical response for tuition.
Square Yards lists Sigma Sector Road and the Surajpur–Kasna road as the access roads for Stellar Sigma Villas, and these are the routes most tutors use. OpenStreetMap marks a main entrance to the sector on its north-western side, close to Park 1 and Sigma 2. A tutor coming from Sigma 2, Sigma 3 or Rho 1 has a ride of under two kilometres by portal estimates, and Omicron 1 and Omicron 1A are similarly close to the north and east.
By metro, GNIDA Office station in Knowledge Park IV is the nearest, a little over four kilometres from the middle of Sigma 4 in a straight line on OpenStreetMap, with Depot and DELTA 1 a little further. NMRC lists the last train from GNIDA Office towards Noida Sector 51 at about 10:01 pm and towards Depot at about 10:44 pm. A metro-using tutor will need an auto for the last stretch, so lessons ending by about half past eight suit them.
Tutors driving from Noida usually take the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway to Pari Chowk and then head south and east through the sector roads. That expressway is known for evening congestion, so a tutor based in the Greek-letter sectors is the steadier pick for weekday lessons. For a subject where the right tutor lives far away, online tuition for Greater Noida takes the commute out of the picture.
We do not give travel times, because they change too much with the hour and the season.
In the apartment societies, register the tutor with security before the demo, with their name, phone number and the flat and block they are visiting. Some rental listings mention block letters, such as B Block in Royal Apartments, so include yours. Ask the society where visitors may park a two-wheeler, since visitor bays are often limited.
In a gated villa community, the guard will usually call the house before letting a visitor in. Tell the guard the tutor will come at the same time each week, and keep your phone handy for the first visit. For an independent house on an open road, a map pin and the name of the nearest numbered park are enough.
Inside the home, choose a table in a shared room, keep the door open for younger children, and stay in for the demo class. If you prefer a woman tutor, add that to your request; NXTutors includes a woman tutor for home tuition in Greater Noida wherever one fits your class and time.
All tutors joining NXTutors complete an ID check, with a one-time code for phone or email and a government photo ID reviewed by our team (see the steps). It is not a police or background check, so the demo is also your chance to judge.
Requests from this zone mostly mention CBSE, followed by ICSE/ISC and UP Board, with a smaller number for IB and Cambridge IGCSE. In Sigma 4's societies, the board mainly affects what the tutor needs from you at the start.
See our full guide to choosing between CBSE, ICSE, IB and IGCSE.
Short, frequent lessons suit small children: about an hour, three or four afternoons a week. In a flat, the dining table near the kitchen keeps an adult close by. A ten-minute walk to the society's park after the lesson is a good reward and a natural way to end.
Middle-school years are when homework gets heavier and the first real Maths gaps appear. One tutor for Maths and Science, who checks the school notebook and sets a short test every fortnight, catches problems early. For Classes 6 to 8 in a CBSE school, a Greater Noida maths tutor at home is a common first booking.
Plan for two or three lessons of about ninety minutes a week, with the same slots all year so security staff get used to the tutor. Our Class 10 tuition at home page explains how to divide the board year.
Seniors usually need separate subject tutors, and many attend entrance classes as well. From Sigma 4, those classes mean a road trip towards Pari Chowk or Knowledge Park, so weekend mornings often become the slot for a longer home lesson on board answers, numericals and practical records.
Board exams mostly fall early in the year, and the official datesheets appear on cbse.gov.in, cisce.org and upmsp.edu.in. In a gated society, extra exam-season lessons need the same gate registration, so tell security when the tutor's schedule changes. From December, consider moving lessons earlier to avoid the darker, foggier late evenings, and keep an online session as a backup for days when the roads are slow.
A home tutor saves your child the evening road trip and fits the society routine once the guards know the tutor. It is the usual choice for younger children and school subjects.
Online lessons are the better answer when the right teacher is far away: IB, IGCSE, higher Physics or Maths, or a language. They also keep classes going in exam weeks and bad weather.
A coaching centre suits students who want a batch and a timetable for JEE or NEET, but from Sigma 4 every class means travel by road. Many families use a centre for the entrance course and a home tutor for school tests and board answers.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Each tutor names their own fee, and NXTutors displays it beside the tutor on your shortlist ahead of the free demo.
The figure depends on the class and board, the subject, lesson length and how many sessions a week you take. A tutor who rides in from a neighbouring sector has a short trip, while one travelling from further north may prefer fewer, longer sessions.
Agree the monthly total, how holiday weeks are counted, and the rule for lessons you cancel at short notice before the second class.
We found no public library or reading room inside Sigma 4. The parks are pleasant for a short break but not for focused study. The nearest study rooms listed in a 2026 guide are around the Alpha sectors and Knowledge Park II, and the Greater Noida authority runs a library at its office complex. For daily work, a quiet room at home is the realistic choice.
The zone guide for Pi, Sigma and Sectors 36–37 covers the rest.

AI-first tutoring, with real teachers
You tell us the class, board, subject and where in Sigma 4 you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Where AI stops and people start
Move out to the wider area or in to nearby sectors. Tutors usually travel short distances, so the closest areas are the most useful places to look.
Distances are straight-line estimates between sector centres from OpenStreetMap data; the road route is usually longer.

A gap in Maths can build up slowly. If your Class 9 child in Sigma 4 finds algebra hard, the missing piece may sit in an earlier year, and a patient tutor will look for it before moving on. Mention the topics that cause trouble and any recent test results when you ask us for help.
We put forward two or three tutors for each request, and each fee is shown up front, before any lesson. For JEE or NEET aspirants, say which subjects need the most time and how the preparation fits alongside school. ICSE and ISC students should name the syllabus, and IB students their subjects and levels. Our JEE home tutors page is a good place to see more.
Tutors connected with Sigma 4 itself are shown first on this page, whether they live there or travel there. Next come tutors from Sector 36, Sector 37, the Pi pages and the other Sigma pages of the Pi, Sigma & Sectors 36–37 zone, followed by the rest of Greater Noida. Home tutors from Delhi or Noida and online tutors can complete the list, with a line on every card explaining why it appears.
