Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Alpha 2 is part of the Alpha–Delta and Pari Chowk zone in Greater Noida. It differs from its twin, Alpha 1, in two ways that matter for tuition: it has no metro station of its own, sitting between ALPHA 1 and DELTA 1, and alongside its plotted blocks it holds a few apartment societies with their own gates. This guide works through both.
| What | Alpha 2 |
|---|---|
| Zone | Alpha–Delta and Pari Chowk |
| Layout | Plotted blocks such as F, G, H and I, plus a handful of group-housing societies and commercial projects |
| Homes | Independent houses, many with floors or portions let on rent; flats in societies such as Parsvnath Edens and Assotech Golf Vista |
| Metro | No station inside the sector; ALPHA 1 and DELTA 1 on the Aqua Line are the nearest |
| Last trains from DELTA 1 | About 10:03 pm towards Noida Sector 51 and 10:42 pm towards Depot, per NMRC |
| Landmarks for a first visit | Alpha 2 Main Market; the Omaxe India Trade Centre and Migsun Alpha Central commercial buildings |
| Closest sectors | Alpha 1, Delta 1 and Beta 2, each about a kilometre away on portal maps, then Beta 1 and Delta 2 |
| Boards families ask about | CBSE first, then ICSE/ISC and UP Board, with some IB or IGCSE requests |
| Lesson windows that work | After school until early evening; weekend mornings for long senior sessions |
Alpha 2 grew up with Alpha 1 as part of the city's first planned core, and most of it still follows the plotted pattern. Its residential blocks carry letters, F, G, H and I among them, and each block is a grid of independent houses built on authority plots. Rental portals list many of these houses whole, and many more as single floors or one-bedroom portions, so a lane often mixes owner families with tenants who have rented a part of a house.
The sector also holds something Alpha 1 has little of: apartment societies. Square Yards lists group-housing projects such as Parsvnath Edens, Assotech Golf Vista and MSA Golf Gardenia under Alpha II, with two- to four-bedroom flats. Families in these live behind a society gate, with guards and a visitor routine, while their neighbours a few streets away open their own front door.
Commerce sits at the edges. The Alpha 2 Main Market, in Pocket F, handles daily shopping, and a local listing shows it open every day into the late evening. Larger commercial buildings are listed in the sector too: the Omaxe India Trade Centre, Migsun Alpha Central with its retail units and business suites across two towers, and the iThums Galleria project, still listed as upcoming.
Older portal reviews, from a handful of residents, rate Alpha 2 well for parks, markets, banks and ATMs, bus stops, cleanliness and safety. That picture, a settled sector with a market at hand and a growing commercial edge, is what most tuition requests from Alpha 2 start from.
There is not much public discussion that is specific to Alpha 2, so the themes below come from portal reviews, listing pages and city news, and each is turned into a planning point.
Beyond that, Alpha 2 parents ask what everyone asks: can the tutor keep a fixed weekly time, and do they know the board's marking style?
No metro station stands inside Alpha 2, but two sit close by. ALPHA 1 station is in Block E of Alpha 1, and DELTA 1 station is in Block A of Delta 1; both are on the Aqua Line, which runs from Noida Sector 51 to Depot and opened on 25 January 2019. A tutor living anywhere along that line, from Knowledge Park II to the Noida sectors further north, can ride to either station and take an e-rickshaw or walk the rest.
Which station is quicker depends on your block, so ask the tutor to try both on the demo day. Keep the timetable in mind for evening lessons: NMRC lists the last train from DELTA 1 towards Noida Sector 51 at about 10:03 pm, and from ALPHA 1 at about 10:06 pm. On Sundays, trains leave the end stations at 8 am, so a Sunday-morning lesson at 8:30 suits a local tutor better than a metro rider.
By road, Alpha 2 lies a short drive from Pari Chowk, where the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway ends, and Square Yards lists the Omaxe India Trade Centre in the sector about two kilometres from the expressway. The Surajpur–Kasna road runs along this side of the city too, and tutors from Kasna or the Pi sectors to the south use it.
The most dependable tutors for a three-times-a-week routine are usually the ones next door. Alpha 1, Delta 1 and Beta 2 sit roughly a kilometre away on portal maps, and Beta 1 and Delta 2 are only slightly further. A tutor from one of these can come on a scooter or by e-rickshaw without crossing Pari Chowk at all.
Plan the first visit around your kind of home.
Send the block letter, house number, the floor or portion you live in, and a map pin. If the house is shared with tenants, say which bell to press and whether a side entrance or staircase leads to your floor. Pocket F's Main Market is an easy meeting point for a tutor who has never been to the sector.
In Parsvnath Edens, Assotech Golf Vista or another gated society, add the tutor to the visitor list or app before the demo, and send the tower and flat number with the gate to use. After the first week, ask the management office how to set a standing entry for a regular visitor, so each lesson does not begin with a call from the guard. Ask too where visitors may park a scooter or car.
Wherever the lesson happens, a parent or another adult should be at home, and the room should be one the family uses, not a closed bedroom far from the rest of the house. If your child would be more at ease with a woman tutor, add that to the request; our women home tutors for Greater Noida page explains how that works.
Tutors who sign up with NXTutors face an ID check when joining, covering a one-time-code check of phone or email and a team review of a government photo ID; the tutor ID check page has the detail. It is not police verification, so your own impression at the free demo counts.
Alpha 2 requests mostly name CBSE, followed by ICSE/ISC and UP Board, and occasionally IB or Cambridge IGCSE. Two local points shape the choice of tutor.
First, the plotted blocks and the societies send children to a wide spread of schools, so siblings in the same lane may be on different boards. Ask the tutor plainly which boards they teach, and for ICSE, share CISCE's prescribed-text list from cisce.org at the first lesson. Our CBSE tutors for Greater Noida page covers the most common case.
Second, families who chose UP Board should tell the tutor the medium of the exam. UPMSP posts its notices, mostly in Hindi, on upmsp.edu.in, and a Hindi-medium student needs a tutor comfortable teaching in Hindi. For CBSE Class 10, the board now offers a second sitting in May for improvement, which changes revision planning a little.
The board comparison guide sets out the differences in full.
Young learners do well with short, regular visits rather than long ones. In a shared house, a slot when the staircase and the floor above are quiet helps more than you might expect. Ask the tutor to send a two-line note after each lesson saying what to practise, so the gap between visits is used.
Many families take one tutor for Maths and Science together at this stage, and add English later if writing is weak. A weekly ten-question test, marked in front of the child, shows progress better than finished homework does. For a science specialist, see our science tuition at home in Greater Noida page.
Board years need a fixed timetable that survives school tests and festivals. Set two or three lessons a week of around ninety minutes, and ask the tutor to keep a record of chapters covered against the school plan. If your child is in a society with a clubhouse study room, check its rules before planning lessons there; most lessons still happen at home.
Senior students usually need a separate tutor for each main subject, and many split their week between school, entrance classes and home lessons. In Alpha 2 the trip to entrance classes in Knowledge Park or along the Aqua Line starts with the walk or ride to ALPHA 1 or DELTA 1, so keep home lessons on days with no coaching travel. Our Class 12 home tutors in Greater Noida page covers subject choices and timing.
Dates should come only from the boards themselves, which in Alpha 2's case usually means checking three websites: CBSE's, CISCE's and UPMSP's. In 2026 CBSE's Class 10 main exam ran from 17 February to 11 March. Tutors' evenings fill quickly from December, so book any extra revision slots with your tutor in November. If the household is busy with guests or functions around the exam months, a quiet online session can replace a home visit for a week or two.
A home tutor suits most school-subject needs in Alpha 2, because neighbouring sectors are close and the tutor does not need the metro. You see the lessons, and your child saves the travel.
Online lessons make sense when the subject needs a specialist, such as IB Mathematics or IGCSE sciences, or when a home visit is hard to fit around a shared house's routine. Our IB tutors for Greater Noida page explains how online and home lessons can be combined.
A coaching centre suits structured entrance preparation, but from Alpha 2 it means a ride to a station or a drive towards Knowledge Park or Pari Chowk, then the return in the evening rush. If your child already spends hours at a centre, keep home lessons short and focused on school work and answer writing rather than repeating the centre's material.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own rates on NXTutors, and the shortlist shows each one before you agree to a demo.
The factors that move a fee are the same everywhere: class and board, subject, lesson length, and the number of lessons a week. In Alpha 2 the tutor's starting point matters slightly more than in Alpha 1, because there is no station inside the sector and a tutor coming from further away adds a last stretch by e-rickshaw or scooter.
Ask the tutor to write down the monthly total, the rule for missed lessons on either side, and whether extra pre-board lessons are charged at the same rate.
One 2026 guide to Greater Noida study spaces mentions a few paid study rooms in the Alpha I and II area, and many more in Knowledge Park II. It also lists a public library run by the Greater Noida authority at the authority's office complex. We could not confirm addresses or hours, so check before you rely on them. Society residents may also have a clubhouse room, subject to the society's rules.
To the south lie Kasna and the Pi and Sigma sectors, a separate zone.

AI-first tutoring, with real teachers
You tell us the class, board, subject and where in Alpha 2 you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Where AI stops and people start
Move out to the wider area or in to nearby sectors. Tutors usually travel short distances, so the closest areas are the most useful places to look.
Distances are straight-line estimates between sector centres from OpenStreetMap data; the road route is usually longer.

If your child in Alpha 2 is moving into the senior classes, it helps to think early about the kind of support that suits them. Some students want a home tutor for every subject; others do well with a home tutor for school work and an online specialist for NEET or JEE preparation. NXTutors can arrange either, and you are free to mix the two.
Alpha 2 sits within the Alpha–Delta & Pari Chowk zone, alongside pages such as Alpha 1, Gamma 1 and Sector P-3. Tutors living in Alpha 2, or willing to travel to it, are shown first here. After them come people who teach in other parts of the zone, then the city at large, then visiting teachers from Faridabad or Noida, and finally online tutors from Uttar Pradesh and anywhere else in the country.
Before the first class, share the board, the textbooks your school uses and the chapters already done. ICSE and ISC papers are set by CISCE, so if your child follows that syllabus, say so up front. If your building keeps a visitor register, add the tutor's name once and the weekly visits stay simple. Each tutor's fee appears on their profile before the free demo.
