Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Gamma 2 is part of the Alpha–Delta and Pari Chowk zone of Greater Noida. It is a quiet, settled residential sector of family houses, wedged between the Jagat Farm side of Gamma 1 and the Delta sectors, and that quiet is its main advantage for home lessons.

Gamma 2 belongs to the first generation of Greater Noida sectors, the Greek-letter ones, of which Alpha, Beta and Gamma are the oldest. Wikipedia describes it as a residential locality in the west of the city. It once also hosted the Greater Noida authority's registry office, a reminder of how central this belt was when the city was young.
Homes are mainly independent houses on authority plots. Property listings describe ground-plus-one and ground-plus-two houses, some duplex and some on three floors, and owners hold both the land and the building. A few apartments are listed too, but the street view is of family houses with their own gates and front parking.
That shapes the household. Many Gamma 2 houses hold a family across two or three floors, sometimes with grandparents on the ground floor and children upstairs, or with one floor let out. For a tutor, the lesson is usually in a family home with space to choose from, rather than a single room in a flat.
Unlike Gamma 1 next door, Gamma 2 has no big market of its own in the sources we checked. Families shop at Jagat Farm on the Gamma 1 side, or further afield. The result is a calm sector where an evening lesson rarely competes with street noise.
A small naming point helps newcomers. In 2022 the authority discussed giving Greek-letter sectors numbers instead, with the old name kept in brackets on lease deeds. A tutor from outside the city may therefore search for Gamma II, Gamma 2 or a number. Spell out "Gamma 2, Greater Noida" with your PIN code, 201310, so map apps do not send them to a different place.
Public material on Gamma 2 is thinner than for its busier neighbours, so this section is short. Three points stand out.
Gamma 2 has no metro station of its own. Its neighbours give the two options. Jagat Farm, on the Gamma 1 side, lists ALPHA 1 as its nearest station; ALPHA 1 sits in Block E of Alpha 1. DELTA 1, in Block A of Delta 1, is the next stop south and serves the Delta side. A tutor riding the Aqua Line from Noida gets off at whichever of the two is nearer your block and finishes by e-rickshaw or auto.
A tutor who drives from Noida comes down the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway, which ends at Pari Chowk. Ansal Plaza, the city's first shopping mall, stands at Pari Chowk and is a useful marker on that route. Pari Chowk is busy at office hours, so for weekday sessions a tutor already living in the Beta, Gamma or Delta sectors is usually more punctual.
Inside Gamma 2, the trick is choosing the approach. If the tutor comes from ALPHA 1 or Pari Chowk, routes past Jagat Farm fill up after dark; coming in from the Delta side or the Beta 2 side is calmer. Share a map pin and the nearest cross-street for the first visit, because blocks of similar houses can look alike to a newcomer.
Think about the trip home as well. A tutor who finishes a late session and needs an e-rickshaw back to the station has an easier time on a main sector road than deep in an inner lane. If your house is tucked away, walking the tutor to the corner on the first evening, or agreeing a pick-up point, makes a late slot workable through the winter.
Most Gamma 2 homes are individual houses, so the tutor rings the bell; there is no visitor app to approve. If you live in one of the few apartment buildings, check how the building records visitors before the demo.
In a two- or three-floor house, choose a room where an adult will be within earshot during the lesson. For a younger child, a ground-floor room near the main door is usually right. For a senior student, a quiet upstairs room is fine, as long as a parent knows when the session starts and ends.
Tutors who join NXTutors go through an ID check, and the badge on a tutor's profile shows only after the ID check is complete. It is not a police or background check. You can read how tutors are checked, and the free demo is your chance to judge the tutor in person.
If you would like a woman tutor, ask for one in your request, and only women tutors are shortlisted for you.
Where one floor of the house is let to another household, tell the tutor which bell and which staircase to use. Two families sharing a gate is common in these multi-floor houses, and a clear note on the first day saves the tutor knocking at the wrong door or waiting outside while the lesson time runs on.
Gamma 2 families most often ask about CBSE, then ICSE and ISC, with some UP Board and a few IB or Cambridge IGCSE requests. What changes in a house like these is mostly the room and the schedule: with space for a dedicated study room, an ICSE student can keep longer written-English sessions, and an ISC student can have a different specialist each evening. ICSE and ISC syllabuses come from CISCE on cisce.org, and CBSE's from cbseacademic.nic.in.
For an ICSE child, the ICSE home tutors in Greater Noida page is the right place to start. For the full comparison of boards, read our guide to choosing between CBSE, ICSE, IB and IGCSE.
In a Gamma 2 house, young children do well with a fixed corner on the ground floor and a short lesson three or four times a week. Grandparents at home are a help: they can sit in, keep the routine and tell the tutor what homework came back from school.
These years set up the board classes. A combined Maths and Science tutor is common, with English or a language added later. Ask the tutor to keep a simple weekly record of what was covered and what the child still finds hard.
Longer sessions with a timed question at the end work well, and Gamma 2's quiet evenings help. CBSE now holds a second Class 10 exam in the year for students who want to improve, but a tutor should still plan the main sitting as the target.
Seniors usually have one specialist per subject. Because a specialist may come from Noida by metro, agree the station and the e-rickshaw stretch at the demo. The Class 12 home tutors page shows the subjects and boards tutors cover.
For entrance preparation, a home tutor covers board subjects and the student practises entrance-style questions alongside. NTA's own site, nta.ac.in, is the place to check pattern and syllabus.
Board exams for most students fall early in the year; check dates only on the board's own site (cbse.gov.in, cisce.org, upmsp.edu.in, ibo.org, cambridgeinternational.org). In Gamma 2, the main planning point is the tutor's evening. As exams near, tutors' slots fill up, so ask for extra revision sessions a month or two ahead. If your tutor comes through Pari Chowk, an earlier slot leaves room for traffic.
Home tuition fits Gamma 2 naturally: quiet streets, room to spare and no gate to clear. You can follow your child's work and talk to the tutor at the end of a session.
Online lessons make sense when the right teacher lives far away, as is common for IB, IGCSE and senior specialist subjects. They also save the tutor a trip through Pari Chowk at rush hour.
A coaching centre means your child travels instead, usually by metro from ALPHA 1 or DELTA 1 or by road through busy junctions. Many Gamma 2 families settle on a home tutor for school subjects and add a centre or online class for entrance practice. For senior Chemistry, see the chemistry home tutors in Greater Noida page.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
In Gamma 2, the class, board, subject, session length and number of sessions a week drive the quote. A tutor who travels from Noida through Pari Chowk may prefer longer, fewer sessions, while a tutor from the next sector can offer shorter visits. Two siblings taught in the same house may also change the arrangement.
Ask what the fee includes, such as tests, notes and make-up lessons. Every tutor's fee is on the shortlist before the free demo.
We found no public library inside Gamma 2. The Greater Noida Authority library is described as being in the authority's office complex area near GNIDA Office station, and paid reading rooms cluster around Knowledge Park and the Alpha sectors. For most Gamma 2 students, a study room at home is quieter than any of these.
Every sector in the zone is on the Alpha–Delta and Pari Chowk zone page.

AI-first tutoring, with real teachers
You tell us the class, board, subject and where in Gamma 2 you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Where AI stops and people start
Move out to the wider area or in to nearby sectors. Tutors usually travel short distances, so the closest areas are the most useful places to look.
Distances are straight-line estimates between sector centres from OpenStreetMap data; the road route is usually longer.

A board exam year asks for steady planning, and it may be when you start looking for a tutor. Whether your child is in Class 10 or Class 12, a weekly plan that mixes new chapters with revision and timed practice makes the year feel manageable. NXTutors can help you find a home or online tutor to build that plan with your child.
Gamma 2 is one of eleven pages in the Alpha–Delta & Pari Chowk zone. Gamma 1, Delta 2 and Sector P-4 (Builders Area) are others in it. The list on this page begins with tutors who live in Gamma 2 or have said they will travel there, continues with teachers across the zone and the wider city, and then shows home tutors from Ghaziabad or Delhi, with online tutors after them.
Tell us which board, which subjects, and the marks your child scored in the last school test, if you are comfortable sharing them. A tutor for Physics or Accountancy can then start where help is needed most. You see what each tutor charges before the free demo, which lets you compare calmly and without any hurry.
