Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Unlike most sectors in this zone, P-4 is society housing. Property portals call it the Builders Area, and the two addresses you hear most are Jalvayu Vihar and the CGEWHO housing. So the steps that matter most are gate entry, the right block and visitor parking.
| Point | Sector P-4 (Builders Area), Greater Noida |
|---|---|
| Zone on NXTutors | Alpha–Delta & Pari Chowk, next to the Phi and Chi sectors |
| Housing | Gated group-housing societies rather than plotted houses |
| Societies named on portals | Jalvayu Vihar and CGEWHO Phase 1; CGEWHO's Kendriya Vihar Phase II is on Plot 7 |
| Building style | Jalvayu Vihar is low-rise, mostly ground-plus-two or ground-plus-three blocks |
| Neighbours | Chi 3, Phi 2 and Sector P-3 |
| Metro for tutors | Knowledge Park II and Pari Chowk on the Aqua Line; CGEWHO's brochure puts them about 3.5 km and 3.9 km from its site |
| Landmarks | Yatharth Hospital and the Grand Venice Mall, each within about 2 km of the CGEWHO site by its brochure |
| Modes | Home visits inside the society, online classes, or both |
Sector P-4 is listed on property portals as the Builders Area, and it is made up mainly of group-housing societies, with apartment blocks, parks and parking inside gated campuses. Portals name Chi 3, Phi 2 and Sector P-3 as its neighbours, and it sits on the southern side of Pari Chowk.
Two names come up again and again. Jalvayu Vihar was built by the Air Force Naval Housing Board as a low-rise, low-density gated township, with blocks of mostly ground-plus-two and ground-plus-three floors, internal parks, sports courts, a swimming pool, convenience shops and a residents' welfare association. Flats range from two-bedroom homes to larger duplex units. One property site files Jalvayu Vihar under Phi 2, Pocket 4, while others list it under Sector P-4, so expect to see both labels.
The CGEWHO housing is the second. The Central Government Employees Welfare Housing Organisation built a Phase 1 project here, and in 2024 it opened applications for Kendriya Vihar, Sector P-4 (Phase II), on Plot 7, a scheme for central government employees registered with UP RERA. Phase II offered four-bedroom flats.
The result is a sector where many households have service backgrounds, flats are mostly family-sized, and residents' associations run day-to-day matters. For tuition, the society is the unit that counts: its gate rules, its visitor parking and, in some cases, its common rooms.
We found little public discussion about P-4 itself, so this section stays brief and sticks to what listings and official documents show.
Both main societies are gated with security staff and controlled entry, and Jalvayu Vihar has a residents' welfare association. A tutor who is expected at the gate gets in quickly; one who is not can be held up. Register the tutor before the demo.
If your work may take the family to another city, plan the board and the tutor's notes with that in mind. If a move is possible mid-year, keep notes and test papers organised so a new tutor, or the same tutor online, can pick up without losing time.
Jalvayu Vihar is described as having tennis and badminton courts, sports grounds and a swimming pool. Children who use them often have evenings filled with play and coaching, so tuition can end up squeezed in late. Fix the tuition slot first and fit activities around it, or keep sport days and tuition days separate.
The CGEWHO brochure puts the nearest stations a few kilometres away, so tutors who use the metro need an auto for the rest of the trip. A tutor with a two-wheeler is easier for evening slots.
The Aqua Line opened on 25 January 2019 and runs from Noida Sector 51 into Greater Noida, where its stops are Knowledge Park II, Pari Chowk, ALPHA 1, DELTA 1, GNIDA Office and Depot. For P-4, the relevant pair is Knowledge Park II and Pari Chowk. CGEWHO's brochure for its Plot 7 site gives about 3.5 km to Knowledge Park metro and about 3.9 km to Pari Chowk metro. There is an auto stand at the foot of Knowledge Park II station, which makes it the easier exit for a tutor finishing by auto.
The Noida–Greater Noida Expressway ends at Pari Chowk. A tutor coming that way drives through the junction and on towards the Phi and Chi side. Yatharth Hospital on India Expo Mart Road and the Grand Venice Mall are landmarks a tutor can steer by; the brochure places both within about 2 km of the CGEWHO site.
The quickest trips come from Phi 2, Chi 3 and Sector P-3, and from the Omega sectors north towards Pari Chowk. A tutor based there can usually keep a fixed after-school slot through the week.
Jalvayu Vihar is a large campus of separate low-rise blocks. Give the block number as well as the flat, and tell the tutor which gate to use if there is more than one.
Society living makes the first visit a little more formal. A short routine helps:
Give a new tutor a little extra time on the first visit. Gate staff may call you to confirm, the tutor may need to sign a register, and finding the block inside a large low-rise campus takes a few minutes. Once the tutor is known at the gate, later visits are much quicker. If you change the session day, tell security as well as the tutor.

Families in P-4 mostly ask for CBSE, and some for ICSE and ISC. Where a family might move cities on transfer, a board that is followed across India makes changing school simpler, and a tutor who knows the NCERT books well is then the main need; CBSE's curriculum is published on cbseacademic.nic.in. In a flat, keep sessions at a table away from the living room so long-answer practice is not interrupted. Our CBSE tutors for home visits in Greater Noida page covers the most common request, and the full comparison sits in our guide to choosing a board.
Short sessions soon after school suit this age. In a flat, pick a corner with a small table and keep toys out of sight during the lesson. Society campuses with parks make a five-minute break outdoors easy, but bring the child back to the same table each time. A tutor from Phi 2 or P-3 can usually manage regular short visits.
The focus moves from homework to understanding. A tutor who covers maths and science together, with a test every few weeks, is a common choice. If you expect to move on transfer, ask the tutor to keep a simple record of chapters covered and marks, which helps the next school or tutor.
Expect subject tutors, longer sessions and a clear plan for the board year. For maths, see maths tutors for Greater Noida homes. Ask each tutor to finish the syllabus early enough to leave several weeks for sample papers.
A specialist per subject becomes essential, and many students also prepare for NEET or JEE. For physics, our physics home tutors in Greater Noida page is the place to start. Home sessions then cover board answers, practical records and the topics coaching rushes through, ideally on weekends.
Take dates only from the boards' official sites: cbse.gov.in, cisce.org and, for UP Board students, upmsp.edu.in. For P-4 families, the practical steps are to tell the gate early if the tutor will come on extra days, to book additional slots by about December, and to keep an online option for last-minute doubts so the tutor does not make a separate trip for a short question.
Home tuition inside the society is safe and convenient for your child, who does not travel at all. The trade-off is the gate routine and finding a quiet corner in the flat.
Online classes suit specialist subjects and families who may relocate, because the same tutor can continue after a move. See online tutors serving Greater Noida.
A centre gives structure and classmates but means travel, often towards Pari Chowk or Knowledge Park in the evening. Many families keep a centre for entrance practice and a home or online tutor for school subjects.
For a P-4 family, a mixed plan often works well: home visits for the subjects where a child needs someone sitting beside them, and online sessions for a specialist subject or for weeks when the family is travelling. You can try a free demo of both before deciding.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
In P-4, a quote depends on the class and board, the subject, how long each session runs and how many sessions a week you book. A tutor coming from across Pari Chowk may suggest fewer, longer sessions; one from Phi 2 or P-3 may be happy with shorter, more frequent visits. If two families in the same society book the same tutor on the same evening, the tutor's travel is easier to justify, though each family still agrees its own fee.
Ask what the fee includes and how missed classes are handled. Each tutor's fee is on their profile before the free demo.
No public library in P-4 came up in a reliable source. Jalvayu Vihar is described as having community spaces; whether residents can use them for study or tuition is for the RWA to say. A table in a quiet room of the flat stays the dependable choice.
