Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Chi 3 sits in the middle of the Omega, Chi and Phi zone of Greater Noida. It is a sector of authority plots with a few apartment projects tucked between them, a short ride south of the Aqua Line. Below is what that mix means for a weekly lesson at home.
| Question | Chi 3 |
|---|---|
| Where | South-western Greater Noida, PIN 201310, run by the Greater Noida authority (GNIDA) |
| Borders | Chi 1, Chi 2 and Phi 1 to the north, Chi 4 to the south, Phi 3 to the east |
| Homes | Independent houses on residential plots, plot colonies such as Minerva Surya Enclave, and apartment projects such as Stellar Icon and Unitech Heights |
| Nearest stations | Knowledge Park II and Pari Chowk on the Aqua Line, both north of the sector; neither is inside it |
| Last trains (NMRC) | Knowledge Park II: about 10:10 pm towards Noida Sector 51; Pari Chowk: about 10:08 pm the same way |
| Roads | Sector roads lead north towards Pari Chowk; the Yamuna Expressway runs west of the sector |
| Daily shopping | The AWHO township market in neighbouring Chi 2, about a kilometre away on a portal map |
| Green space | Many small parks between the lanes, as mapped on OpenStreetMap |
| Boards asked about | Mainly CBSE, then ICSE/ISC and UP Board; IB and IGCSE usually go online |
Chi 3 is one of the Greek-letter sectors laid out by the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority, and Wikipedia places it in the south-west of the city. The land was mostly divided into residential plots, so the typical Chi 3 home is a house that its owner built, sometimes with a floor let out to tenants. Listings on resale portals show plots in colonies such as Minerva Surya Enclave and in a society for employees of a public-sector power company, which tells you how much of the sector began as plotted land rather than towers.
Between the plots stand a few apartment projects. Property portals list Stellar Icon, with two-, three- and four-bedroom flats, and Unitech Heights, with three-bedroom flats, as ready to move in. A retail project, SVG Central Square, is listed as a new launch. The result is a sector where one lane is quiet houses with gates and parking in front, and the next has a guarded society with towers and a visitor register.
That split matters more for tuition than any other fact about Chi 3. A family in a plot house can give the tutor a room of their own for the hour, but must think about who opens the gate. A family in a society flat gets security at the entrance but often shares the dining table with a younger sibling's homework. Neither is better; they simply need different arrangements, which the sections below cover.
The sector is mapped on OpenStreetMap with a large number of small parks between its residential blocks. For a child, that means a place to run between subjects. For a tutor, the parks double as easy landmarks when the houses all look alike.
Public reviews of Chi 3 are few and mostly sit on property portals. Read together, they point to a handful of themes, each with a practical lesson for tuition.
Beyond these, Chi 3 parents ask what every family asks: does the tutor know the board, will they hold the same weekly slot through exam months, and does a Class 11 subject need someone face to face or would a specialist online serve better?
No metro station stands inside Chi 3. The two nearest are Knowledge Park II and Pari Chowk, consecutive stops on the Aqua Line, which opened on 25 January 2019 and runs from Noida Sector 51 down to Depot. On the map, Knowledge Park II is very slightly the closer of the two, with Pari Chowk a little further east. Either way, a tutor who comes by metro finishes the trip by auto, e-rickshaw or cab, so ask them which station they plan to use and give them your exact pin.
NMRC's timetable puts the last train from Knowledge Park II towards Noida Sector 51 at about 10:10 pm, and from Pari Chowk at about 10:08 pm. Add the auto ride from Chi 3 to the station, and a tutor heading back towards Noida should finish well before nine to be comfortable. On Sundays, trains start at 8 am from the end stations, so an early Sunday lesson suits a tutor who rides their own vehicle. Check NMRC before you fix a late or early slot, as timings can change.
By road, Chi 3's sector roads lead north towards Pari Chowk, where the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway ends and the Yamuna Expressway begins. The Yamuna Expressway itself runs just west of the sector, between the Chi 3–Chi 4 side and Chi 5, so a tutor coming along the expressway can exit and turn in without crossing the busy roundabout. A tutor from Knowledge Park or Omega 1 usually comes through Pari Chowk, where office-hour traffic builds.
The shortest trips are from the sectors around you: Chi 2 and Chi 1 to the north, Phi 3 to the east and Chi 4 to the south. A tutor from one of those is often a two-wheeler ride of a few lanes. We leave out minutes on purpose; the same ride feels very different at four in the afternoon and at seven.
Chi 3 has two kinds of door, and each needs a different message to the tutor.
Plot houses. There is usually no society guard, so share the plot number, the colony or block, and a map pin. Name a landmark the tutor can see from the road, such as the nearest park corner. If your gate stays locked, say who will open it, and tell a tutor on a scooter where to park without blocking a neighbour.
Apartment projects. In towers such as Stellar Icon or Unitech Heights, the guard will ask who the visitor is. Add the tutor's name and phone number to the visitor list, or the society app if there is one, a day before the demo, and give the tower and flat number. Mention a parking spot for the hour, since reviewers say parking is tight.
Whatever the home, an adult should be in during lessons, and younger children do well with the study-room door left open. Hold the first few lessons in the same spot so the routine settles.
If you would prefer a woman tutor, say so in the request, and NXTutors will look for a female home tutor in Greater Noida who fits your class, subject and timing. Tutors who join go through an ID check, which means confirming a phone number or email by code and uploading a government photo ID for our team to look over. Read how tutor ID checks work. It is not a police or background check, so use the demo hour to form your own view too.
Requests from the Chi sectors mostly name CBSE, with ICSE/ISC and UP Board after it, and a smaller number for IB or Cambridge IGCSE. In Chi 3 the housing shapes the tuition more than the board does. A plot house often has a spare room where a senior student can keep a whiteboard and practical files out between lessons. In a flat, the tutor may teach at a shared table, so keep the board's prescribed books in one bag that comes out for every class.
For CBSE, lessons follow NCERT, with practice from the sample papers on cbseacademic.nic.in. For ICSE and ISC, share the text list from cisce.org at the start. UP Board families should mention the medium, Hindi or English, used in the answer books. For IB or IGCSE, many families here start with an online specialist.
For the full comparison, read how CBSE, ICSE, IB and IGCSE differ.
Young children manage well with short, frequent lessons: 45 minutes to an hour, three or four times a week. In a plot house, pick a room away from the gate and the street. In a flat, a corner of the bedroom often works better than the living room, where visitors come and go. Keep the school diary on the table so the tutor sees what the class did that day. Our page on primary tutors for Greater Noida children covers this stage.
These middle years set the habits that Classes 9 and 10 rely on. A single tutor often covers Maths and Science together, with a short test every week or two. Ask the tutor to check the school notebook as well as the textbook, because the notebook shows where marks are being lost. Weekend sessions work well here if weekday evenings are taken by games in the sector's parks.
Class 9 is when a steady routine pays off. Two or three lessons a week of about 90 minutes leave time to teach a chapter and set a timed question. Many Chi 3 families split Maths and Science between two tutors at this point; if you start with one, a home maths tutor in Greater Noida is the usual first choice. In a flat, avoid booking both tutors on the same evening so each session gets the quiet table.
Senior students normally need one tutor per subject, for Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, Accountancy or Economics. Those also preparing for an entrance exam often attend classes in Knowledge Park or further north, so the home tutor's job becomes board answers, practical records and chapters the class rushed. A longer weekend session can fit better than short weekday visits squeezed around travel. See Class 12 home tuition in Greater Noida for the senior years.
Board exams for most students fall early in the calendar year. Take dates only from cbse.gov.in, cisce.org and upmsp.edu.in, not from forwarded messages. From about December, families often add a lesson a week or move to past papers, so agree the extra slots with the tutor before evenings fill. Because every trip to Chi 3 comes by road from a station or Pari Chowk, keep one or two online sessions in reserve for the weeks just before a paper, when a late arrival costs more than usual.
A home tutor saves your child the trip, which counts in a sector with no station of its own. You also see how each lesson goes. For school subjects and board writing, this is the usual choice in Chi 3.
Online lessons drop the commute for everyone. They suit IB or IGCSE, a specialist subject, or a teacher who lives far away. Many families pair one home subject with one online subject; see online tutors for Greater Noida students.
A coaching centre puts the travel on your child, usually an auto ride to the Knowledge Park side and back. It can make sense for an entrance course, but attention per student is lower. A common mix is a centre for entrance preparation and a home tutor for school subjects.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Each tutor sets their own rate, and NXTutors shows it beside their name on the shortlist before the free demo.
What moves the number is the class, the board and subject, the length of each lesson and how many you book in a week. Travel matters too. A tutor who rides in from Chi 2 or Phi 3 has a short trip; one who comes by metro and then an auto from Knowledge Park II spends more time on the road, and may prefer fewer, longer lessons.
Before you agree, work out the monthly total: the hourly rate times lesson length times lessons a month. Ask how holidays, cancelled days and extra exam-month sessions will be handled, so the bill holds no surprises.
Few public study spaces sit inside the Chi sectors. A 2026 guide to Greater Noida's study spaces lists most private study rooms in Knowledge Park II, near the station a tutor might use, and a public library run by the Greater Noida authority at its office complex further north. Check hours and membership before you rely on either. For most Chi 3 children, a quiet room at home and a walk in one of the sector's parks between subjects is the practical plan.

What does your child in Chi 3 need most right now? For some it is help with homework in the junior classes; for others it is steady practice in Physics or Maths before board exams. Tell NXTutors which, and we will find tutors who teach that class and board, at home or online.
Chi 3 is listed in the Omega, Chi & Phi zone, which has eight pages on our site, among them Chi 2, Chi 5, Omega 2 and Phi 3. Tutors whose home is in Chi 3, or who travel to it, come first here. They are followed by tutors living in or covering the wider zone, then others from around the city, home tutors who live in Delhi, and finally online teachers.
CISCE conducts the ICSE examination in Class 10 and the ISC in Class 12, so if your child is on that syllabus, say so; CBSE students are matched in the same way. When you speak to a tutor, ask how they set weekly goals and how they will let you know about progress. Fees are visible on every profile, and the opening lesson is a free demo.
