Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Chi 4 is the southern end of the Chi belt in the Omega–Chi–Phi zone of Greater Noida. It is further from the metro than its neighbours, and its homes range from owner-built houses to one large gated project. This page is about planning lessons around those two facts.
| Item | What applies in Chi 4 |
|---|---|
| Location | South-western Greater Noida, PIN 201310, governed by GNIDA |
| Neighbours | Chi 3 to the north, Phi 4 to the east, Chi 5 to the west across the Yamuna Expressway; Kasna lies close by |
| Housing | Houses on residential plots, villas, and the ATS Paradiso gated apartment project with three- and four-bedroom flats |
| Metro | None in the sector; Knowledge Park II and Pari Chowk on the Aqua Line are the nearest, both some way north |
| Last trains (NMRC) | Knowledge Park II about 10:10 pm and Pari Chowk about 10:08 pm, towards Noida Sector 51 |
| Main road | The Yamuna Expressway along the western side; sector roads north towards Chi 3 and Pari Chowk |
| Green space | About a dozen small parks and a playing pitch mapped inside the sector |
| Boards asked about | CBSE first, then ICSE/ISC and UP Board; IB and IGCSE often online |
| Steadiest lesson time | Afternoons and early evenings, given the distance from the stations |
Wikipedia describes Chi 4 as a residential locality in the south-west of Greater Noida, under the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority, with Chi 3 above it and Phi 4 beside it to the east. Most of the land was handed out as residential plots, and owners built their houses over the years. Property portals list independent houses, villas, independent floors and plots in the sector, which matches what a visitor sees: lanes of houses with small front gardens and parking.
The big exception is ATS Paradiso, a gated, RERA-registered apartment project that listings describe as ready to move in, with three- and four-bedroom flats on a large campus. A villa project carrying the same developer's name is listed alongside it. So a Chi 4 address can mean two very different front doors: a house gate on a quiet lane, or a guarded entrance with towers behind it.
OpenStreetMap shows a dense pattern of small parks across the sector, plus a playing pitch near its eastern side, and a hospital named Heart of India near the north-east corner. South of the sector, a large university campus sits on the Yamuna Expressway, which brings student traffic to that edge at certain hours.
For tuition, the housing mix decides most of the planning. Houses tend to be roomy, so a study room is easy to set aside, but a tutor needs exact directions because lanes look alike. In the gated project, finding the flat is simple once the guard lets the tutor in, but the visitor log adds a step at the gate.
Resident reviews of Chi 4 on property portals are limited, and they disagree in places. These are the themes that come up, with what each means for lessons.
The rest are the usual questions: does the tutor know the board, can they hold one fixed slot through the year, and is a senior subject better taught at home or by a specialist on a screen?
Chi 4 is the sector in this belt that is furthest from the Aqua Line. The nearest stations, Knowledge Park II and Pari Chowk, both lie north of Chi 3, so a tutor who comes by metro needs an auto, e-rickshaw or cab for a longer last leg than in most Greater Noida sectors. The line itself opened on 25 January 2019 and runs from Noida Sector 51 to Depot.
That makes timing important. NMRC lists the last train towards Noida Sector 51 at about 10:10 pm from Knowledge Park II and about 10:08 pm from Pari Chowk. With a long auto ride back to either, a tutor relying on the metro should finish in Chi 4 by early evening. On Sundays trains start at 8 am from the end stations, so a Sunday-morning lesson is easier for a tutor with their own scooter or car. Confirm current timings on the NMRC site before agreeing a slot.
On the road, the Yamuna Expressway runs along the western side of Chi 4, separating it from Chi 5. A tutor coming from that direction can exit and approach without passing through Pari Chowk. From Knowledge Park, Omega 1 or Noida via the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway, the route usually comes through Pari Chowk, then south past Chi 3, which is where evening delays build.
The quickest arrivals are from next door: Chi 3 to the north, Phi 4 and Phi 3 to the east, and the Kasna side. A tutor already teaching in one of those sectors is the natural match. We do not quote minutes, because the ride depends heavily on the hour.
If you live in a plot house: send the tutor your plot number, block and a map pin, and describe one thing they will see, such as the park nearest your gate. Say whether the gate is kept locked and who will open it. Leave room outside for a scooter, since most tutors here ride in.
If you live in ATS Paradiso or another gated project: security will log every visitor. Register the tutor's name, phone and vehicle number a day before the demo, give the tower and flat, and ask the guard desk where a visitor's two-wheeler can stand.
For every home: keep an adult in the house during the lesson, and leave the study-room door open for younger children. Because some roads go quiet at night, agree that a late-finishing tutor messages you when they reach the main road.
Families who want a woman tutor can ask for one in the request, and we will shortlist a woman tutor in Greater Noida where one is free at your hours. Everyone who joins as a tutor completes an ID check: they confirm a phone number or email with a one-time code and upload a government photo ID, which our team looks at. See our tutor ID check for the details. This is not a police or background check, so trust what you see at the demo as well.
Most requests from the Chi and Phi sectors are for CBSE, followed by ICSE/ISC and UP Board, with a few for IB or Cambridge IGCSE. What changes in Chi 4 is the distance: a specialist for an ISC science or an IGCSE subject is less likely to travel this far south for a single hour, so families often keep the main school subjects with a home tutor and move the rarest one online.
Keep the official material at hand. CBSE students work from NCERT, with sample papers posted on cbseacademic.nic.in. CISCE publishes ICSE and ISC syllabuses on cisce.org. UPMSP posts notices on upmsp.edu.in, largely in Hindi, so tell the tutor which medium your child writes in.
For a side-by-side view of the four boards, see our guide to choosing between CBSE, ICSE, IB and IGCSE.
For small children, three or four shorter lessons a week build reading and number habits better than one long one. Plot houses here usually have space for a small table in a bedroom, away from the gate. A tutor who lives in Chi 3 or the Phi sectors can manage short, frequent visits more easily than one coming from Noida. For this stage, start with primary-class tutors in Greater Noida.
One tutor for Maths and Science is common at this age. Ask for a short written test every fortnight and look at it together. If your child plays in the sector's parks in the evening, an afternoon slot after school often works better than a late one. A science tutor for Greater Noida students can also cover Maths in these classes.
These two years need consistency more than extra hours. Two or three sessions a week of about 90 minutes give time to teach and to practise under a timer. Because travel to Chi 4 is longer, many tutors prefer fewer, longer visits; agree this at the demo so the weekly pattern does not slip in winter.
By the senior years, each subject tends to get its own tutor. Students preparing for an entrance exam often attend a centre on the Knowledge Park side, so the home tutor fills gaps in board answers, lab records and difficult chapters. Where a specialist will not travel this far, an online lesson for that subject is a sensible split. For entrance preparation, see JEE home tutors in Greater Noida.
Board exams for most students fall early in the year, and dates should come only from cbse.gov.in, cisce.org and upmsp.edu.in. In Chi 4 the extra planning is travel: winter evenings get dark early and some roads are quiet, so move revision lessons earlier in the day from December onwards, or switch one weekly session online. Agree the exam-month schedule in November, before every tutor's evenings are booked.
Home tutor: the strongest case in this belt, since the nearest station is far and a centre trip eats the evening. You also see each lesson.
Online: worth using for IB, IGCSE or any specialist who will not travel this far south, and as a back-up in exam weeks. See online tuition for Greater Noida families.
Coaching centre: means a daily ride north for your child. It can suit an entrance course, with a home tutor kept for school subjects, which is the mix many Chi 4 families choose.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own rates, and the fee for each person on your shortlist is shown before the free demo, so nothing is hidden.
Class, board and subject move the fee most, followed by lesson length and the number of lessons a week. In Chi 4 the journey can also play a part: a tutor travelling from Noida or the northern sectors spends longer on the road, and may ask for longer, less frequent sessions instead of short daily visits. A tutor from Chi 3 or the Phi sectors faces a short ride.
Before saying yes, multiply the hourly rate by lesson length and by lessons a month, and agree what happens on holidays, cancellations and extra sessions before exams.
We found no public library or study room inside Chi 4. A 2026 guide to Greater Noida's study spaces places most paid study rooms in Knowledge Park II and lists the Greater Noida authority's public library at its office complex, both a fair ride north. For most children here, a fixed study corner at home works better, with one of the sector's many small parks for a short break.

International programmes need tutors who know them well, and a family in Chi 4 can ask NXTutors for exactly that. IB and IGCSE students are matched with tutors who teach those courses, while CBSE, ICSE and UP Board students are matched to their own syllabus. Our IGCSE tutors page is a good starting point if you would like to browse first.
Chi 4 is part of the Omega, Chi & Phi zone, eight pages in all, with Chi 3, Chi 5, Phi 2 and Omega 1 among them. When you open the page, those who live in Chi 4 or travel there appear first. After them, you will see teachers attached to other zone pages, then the city at large, then visiting tutors from Gurugram or Faridabad, and finally online tutors.
For commerce or science in the senior classes, think about a mix. A home tutor might take Accountancy or Economics each week, while an online specialist helps with NEET Biology. Tell us the subjects, the class and your preferred days, and say whether a weekend lesson would also help. Each tutor's fee is shown before the free demo, and switching later is free.
