Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Phi 3 lies on the eastern side of the Omega–Chi–Phi zone in Greater Noida. It is mostly houses on plots, with a few small apartment projects, and it sits about midway between the Chi sectors and the Pari Chowk side. Here is how that shapes lessons.
| What you need to know | Phi 3 |
|---|---|
| Location | South-western Greater Noida, PIN 201310, under GNIDA |
| Next to | Phi 1 and Phi 2 to the north, Chi 3 and Chi 4 to the west, Phi 4 to the east |
| Housing | Mainly independent houses and floors on residential plots; small apartment projects such as SVG Heights |
| Metro | No station inside; Pari Chowk and Knowledge Park II on the Aqua Line are about equally near on the map |
| Last trains (NMRC) | Towards Noida Sector 51: about 10:08 pm from Pari Chowk, about 10:10 pm from Knowledge Park II |
| Landmarks | The Block C park with its volleyball court; the Surajpur industrial area and The Grand Venice Mall to the north-east |
| Shopping | A local market that reviewers say is a short walk from most homes |
| Boards asked about | CBSE first, then ICSE/ISC and UP Board, with a few IB or IGCSE requests |
| Comfortable lesson window | Daytime and early evening |
Wikipedia describes Phi 3 as a residential locality in south-western Greater Noida, governed by the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority, with Phi 1 and Phi 2 above it and Chi 3 and Chi 4 to its west. On OpenStreetMap the sector is filled with small house footprints in regular rows, and Phi 4 lies beside it to the east. Area guides describe Phi 3 as mainly residential, built on plots, with independent floors among the listings.
So the typical Phi 3 home is an owner-built house, often with a floor or two let to tenants. A handful of small apartment projects sit among the plots: portals list SVG Heights, a compact project of one-bedroom flats, and rental listings show independent houses in Prateek Residency, while Airlines Society is listed as another project in the sector. Some shop units are listed in a small commercial building, Satyam Galleria.
Each block has its own little park. The most talked-about is the park in Block C, which a local listing describes as small, with a volleyball area and see-saws, and which reviewers say is busy with teenagers playing volleyball in the evenings. North-east of the sector are the Surajpur industrial area and The Grand Venice Mall, the two landmarks most tutors from outside will already know.
For tuition, houses bring space: there is usually a room or corner that can be kept for study, and a tutor can park at the gate. The trade-off is that no guard will direct a lost tutor, so clear directions matter more here than in a society.
Resident reviews of Phi 3 on property portals are mixed. These are the threads that run through them, with what each means for a home tutor.
Then come the questions every family asks: board knowledge, a fixed weekly time, and whether a senior subject is better taught at home or online.
Phi 3 has no station. On the map it is about equally far from Pari Chowk and Knowledge Park II, the two Aqua Line stops that serve this zone, both to the north-west. The line opened on 25 January 2019 and runs between Noida Sector 51 and Depot. A tutor who uses it takes an auto, e-rickshaw or cab from the station, and reviewers note that autos are easy to find on the main roads but not always inside the colony, so give a pickup-friendly corner.
For evening timing, NMRC lists the last train towards Noida Sector 51 at about 10:08 pm from Pari Chowk and 10:10 pm from Knowledge Park II; towards Depot, the last trains leave Pari Chowk at about 10:37 pm. Because Phi 3's streets are quiet at night, the travel window matters more than the train itself: a lesson that ends by early evening lets a tutor reach the station while the roads are still busy. Sunday trains begin at 8 am from the end stations. Check NMRC before you fix a late slot.
By road, tutors from Knowledge Park, Omega or Noida usually come through Pari Chowk, where the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway ends and the Yamuna Expressway starts, then south past Phi 2. A tutor from Chi 3 or Chi 4 crosses in from the west on sector roads, and one from Phi 4 or the Kasna side comes from the east without touching the main junction.
The shortest trips are from the four sectors that touch Phi 3: Phi 2, Chi 3, Chi 4 and Phi 4. Minutes are left out because the same ride differs widely by the hour.
Most Phi 3 lessons happen in a house, with no society guard, so the arrangements are about finding the door and feeling safe.
Inside, an adult should be home during lessons, and the door kept open for younger children. Because reviews describe quiet streets after dark, ask a tutor who leaves after sunset to message you once they are on the main road.
A family that would like a woman tutor only needs to mention it; NXTutors will shortlist a female home tutor in Greater Noida where one is available for your class and hours, and a daytime slot will suit her journey. Tutors who join complete an ID check, with a one-time code for their phone or email and a government photo ID that our team reviews, explained on our tutor ID check page. It is not a police or background check, so judge for yourself at the demo too.
Requests from this belt are mostly for CBSE, then ICSE/ISC and UP Board, with occasional IB or IGCSE. In Phi 3's houses, families sometimes have a grandparent or tenant floor upstairs, which means the quiet room can change through the week. Fix one study room for the board years, and keep the board's own material in it: NCERT and CBSE sample papers from cbseacademic.nic.in, ICSE and ISC syllabuses from cisce.org, and UPMSP notices from upmsp.edu.in.
Read our CBSE, ICSE, IB and IGCSE comparison for the detail on each board.
Young children need short, frequent sessions, and Phi 3's daytime calm suits an after-school slot well. Choose a room at the back of the house, away from the gate. Keep the school diary out, and plan a ten-minute break in the block park if the lesson runs long. For this stage, see home tuition for primary classes in Greater Noida.
One tutor for Maths and Science usually covers these years, with a fortnightly written test. If your child plays volleyball in the Block C park in the evening, place lessons before play rather than after, when energy is low. A home science tutor for Greater Noida can cover both subjects at this level.
The routine counts more than extra hours. Two or three lessons a week of about 90 minutes allow for teaching and timed practice. In winter, when evenings darken early and Phi 3's streets empty, many families shift these to weekend mornings or late afternoons.
Expect one tutor per subject in the senior years. Students who also attend entrance classes on the Knowledge Park side need a home tutor mainly for board answers, practical records and the hardest chapters. A physics tutor at home in Greater Noida is often the first senior hire, with Chemistry or Maths added as needed.
Only cbse.gov.in, cisce.org and upmsp.edu.in carry the official timetables, so ignore dates in forwarded messages. In Phi 3 the main adjustment is light: move late revision lessons earlier in the day from December, so neither child nor tutor is out on empty streets after dark. Book extra slots in November, and use online sessions for the final fortnight if a home visit is hard.
A home tutor is the natural choice in a sector of houses: there is space to study, and your child avoids a ride to a centre and back through Pari Chowk.
Online lessons suit IB, IGCSE or rare subjects, and evenings when travel after dark is a concern. See online tutors for Greater Noida.
A coaching centre means regular travel north. It suits an entrance course; many Phi 3 families pair a centre for that with a home tutor for school subjects.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Each tutor names their own rate, and you see it on the NXTutors shortlist before the free demo.
The fee depends on class, board, subject, session length and how many sessions you book. A tutor from Phi 2, Chi 3 or Phi 4 has a short trip; one coming from Noida through Pari Chowk spends longer on the road and may favour fewer, longer lessons. Daytime slots, which suit Phi 3, can also be easier for tutors to give regularly.
Work out the month first: hourly fee times lesson length times lessons per month. Agree how holidays, missed lessons and extra exam-month sessions are handled.
There is no public library in Phi 3 that we could source. A 2026 study-space guide places most paid study rooms in Knowledge Park II and lists the Greater Noida authority's public library at its office complex, both a ride away. Closer to home, the block parks give a short break between subjects; the Block C park is the liveliest in the evenings, so pick a quieter one if your child needs calm.

Phi 3 families can ask NXTutors for tutors in every school subject, from early English to Class 12 Physics. Phi 3 is part of the Omega, Chi & Phi zone, eight pages in all, including Phi 2, Omega 2, Chi 3 and Chi 5.
Tutors who live in Phi 3, or who travel there, are the first you will see on this page. After them come teachers across the zone, then the city beyond, then home tutors who live in Ghaziabad, and finally online tutors. Each card has a short line explaining why it is shown.
A few details help us choose well: your child's class and board, which subjects need help, and the evenings that suit your household during a normal school week. CBSE holds board exams in Class 10 and Class 12, and CISCE runs the ICSE and ISC, so say which applies. For English, mention whether reading, writing or speaking is the concern. For Science or Maths, share a recent test. A shortlist of matched tutors follows, fees shown, and lesson one is a free demo. If your building keeps a visitor book, add the tutor's name once.
