Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

A home tutor for a Beta 1 child is arranged the same way as anywhere on NXTutors, with a local twist on timing. Share the block, class, board, subject and your preferred days. We send back two or three matched tutors who travel to Beta 1 or teach online, with each fee printed on the shortlist. You pay nothing for the first class, which is a demo, and nothing to change tutors later.
Beta 1 is one of the oldest sectors of Greater Noida and part of the Alpha–Delta and Pari Chowk zone. It is a sector of parks and houses with Jagat Farm, one of the city's busiest markets, on its northern edge. Below we look at how that layout affects a tutor's route, the lesson hour and the choice of tutor.
| What | Beta 1 |
|---|---|
| Zone | Alpha–Delta and Pari Chowk |
| Homes | Plots and independent houses in lettered blocks, builder floors, and a few apartment groups such as Tata Steel Officers Enclave and Mitra CHS |
| Parks | Shaheed Bismil Park, Arjunaya Park, and block parks in A, B and C blocks, among others |
| Next door | Jagat Farm market in Gamma 1 to the north; Alpha 1 under a kilometre away; Knowledge Park I about a kilometre |
| Metro | No station inside; ALPHA 1 on the Aqua Line is the closest, with Pari Chowk station also in reach |
| Roads | The Surajpur–Kasna road runs along the Jagat Farm side; Pari Chowk and the expressway are a short drive |
| Boards families ask about | CBSE most of all, then ICSE/ISC and UP Board, with a few IB or IGCSE requests |
| Calmer lesson times | Weekend mornings, or weekday afternoons ahead of the market's evening crowd |
Beta belongs with Alpha and Gamma as the oldest of Greater Noida's Greek-letter sectors, and Beta 1 shows its age in a good way: lettered blocks of houses that have had time to settle, with trees and parks between them. Property portals list plots, independent houses and builder floors for sale and rent here, along with a smaller number of flats and the occasional villa.
The flats sit in a few older apartment groups rather than modern towers. Square Yards lists Tata Steel Officers Enclave, Mitra CHS (a cooperative housing society), Sigma Apartments, Stellar Sigma Apartments and Vraddhi Venetia in Beta 1, and Shri Vinayaka Beta Plaza appears as a mixed building. These are smaller and lower than the high-rise societies of Greater Noida West, with their own boundary walls and, often, a guard at the gate.
Green space is the sector's calling card. Wikipedia places Shaheed Bismil Park in Beta 1, and Square Yards names Arjunaya Park, a volleyball park, and block parks in A, B and C blocks. A local listing describes the C Block park as a playground and walking spot. For a family with young children, that means a lesson can end with a run in the park two lanes away.
Daily needs are close: a supermarket, several small markets and bus stops are listed around the sector, and Jagat Farm across the northern edge has everything from large shop chains to street food, clothing and footwear. Portal reviews, from a small number of property agents, call the sector central and well connected and its streets safe and well lit at night.
Beta 1 does not generate much public discussion on its own; most of what is written covers Jagat Farm next door or the old sectors as a group. These themes, drawn from portal reviews, Wikipedia and news, each carry a tuition lesson.
The nearest metro station to Beta 1 is ALPHA 1 on the Aqua Line, in Block E of Alpha 1, which Square Yards puts under a kilometre from the sector. A tutor who comes by train gets off there and walks or takes an e-rickshaw for the last stretch. Jaypee Greens Pari Chowk station, one stop north in the Knowledge Park I area at Tugalpur village, is the other option for blocks on that side. Ansal Plaza, the shopping centre near Pari Chowk station, is a familiar landmark for tutors coming that way.
On weekdays, NMRC's first train from ALPHA 1 towards Noida Sector 51 leaves at about 6:07 am, and on Sundays at about 8:07 am. That matters for a Sunday-morning lesson: a tutor travelling in from Noida by metro will not arrive early. In the evening, the last train back towards Noida leaves ALPHA 1 at about 10:06 pm.
By road, the Surajpur–Kasna road runs along the west side of Jagat Farm, just north of Beta 1, and tutors from Kasna, Surajpur or the southern sectors often come that way. Tutors from Noida by car usually drive the length of the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway, which finishes at Pari Chowk, before cutting across to Beta 1. That last junction is the slowest part of the trip at office hours.
The steadiest tutors for a weekly routine usually live next door. Portals place Alpha 1 and Gamma 1 within a kilometre, Knowledge Park I at about a kilometre, and Delta 1 and Beta 2 a little further. A tutor from any of these can arrive on a scooter without crossing Pari Chowk at all.
Most Beta 1 homes are houses, so the tutor simply arrives at your door. Before the first visit, send the block letter and house number, plus a map pin, and name a park as a landmark: the block parks are easier to find than house numbers in a lane of similar houses. If you live on an upper floor of a shared house, say so and mention which entrance to use.
In an apartment group such as Tata Steel Officers Enclave or Mitra CHS, the guard will usually ask for the visitor's name and flat. Tell the guard to expect the tutor on demo day, and after that ask the management committee how a regular visitor is recorded. Cooperative societies set their own rules, so check before assuming a common room is free for lessons.
Avoid making Jagat Farm the meeting point, because evening crowds and parking there make it the hardest place to find someone. Choose a quieter inner road or a park gate instead.
Keep the lesson in a shared room with an adult at home. If you want a woman tutor, say so in your request and see our female tutors at home in Greater Noida page. When tutors join NXTutors, a one-time code checks their phone or email, and our team reviews the government photo ID they upload; this is an ID check, not a police or background check, as explained on our tutor checks page. Use the demo to judge the tutor for yourself.
Requests from Beta 1 most often name CBSE, with ICSE/ISC and UP Board after it and a few IB or IGCSE. The board matters more than the house type here, because a Beta 1 house usually has a spare room for any kind of lesson; what changes is the tutor's preparation.
For ICSE and ISC, the subject load is heavier and CISCE sets prescribed literature texts, so many families take a separate English tutor; our English tuition at home in Greater Noida page covers this. For UP Board, ask whether the tutor can teach in your child's exam medium, since UPMSP's notices on upmsp.edu.in are mainly in Hindi. For CBSE, lessons follow NCERT closely. Families wanting IB or IGCSE help usually find the specialist online.
For a complete comparison of the four boards, read the CBSE, ICSE, IB and IGCSE guide.
Beta 1's parks are a real asset for this age. A short lesson, then park time, keeps a young child willing to sit down again tomorrow. Ask the tutor to keep reading, handwriting and number work in a simple notebook so you can see progress over a month. Our primary home tutors in Greater Noida page covers what to look for at this stage.
This is when a tutor who can teach Maths and Science together pays off. Ask for a small test every fortnight and a chapter list that follows the school's order. Middle-school children in a busy house do better with a fixed table and a fixed time than with a roaming lesson.
Board years ask for a steady routine of two or three lessons a week, each long enough to teach and then practise. For CBSE Class 10, CBSE's own notice says a second sitting in May is open to students who want to improve, so the tutor's plan aims first at the main exam. Keep the lesson time away from the market's busiest hours if the tutor drives past Jagat Farm.
Senior students in Beta 1 often have entrance classes close by in Knowledge Park, a short ride away. That leaves home lessons for board subjects that classes rush through: practical records, long answers, and difficult chapters in Physics, Chemistry or Accountancy. Our Physics tutors at home in Greater Noida page explains what a senior physics tutor works on.
Board exams for most Beta 1 students come between February and March; CBSE's 2026 Class 10 main exam, for example, ran from 17 February to 11 March. Check every date on the board's own website rather than on forwarded messages. As exams approach, Jagat Farm stays busy in the evenings while tutors' diaries fill, so fix extra revision lessons for afternoons or weekend mornings well in advance. A park walk between two revision sessions helps more than one long sitting.
Home tuition suits Beta 1 well. The houses have room for a quiet lesson, the neighbouring sectors are close, and a tutor who lives in Alpha 1, Gamma 1 or Beta 2 can come without touching Pari Chowk.
Online lessons fill the gaps: IB or IGCSE subjects, a specialist the family wants from another city, or an evening when the market crowd makes travel slow. A laptop at the same study table keeps the routine the same.
A coaching centre is easy to reach from Beta 1, since Knowledge Park and Pari Chowk are close and ALPHA 1 station is nearby. The cost is in your child's time and the evening return trip. Many families use a centre for entrance preparation and keep a home tutor for school subjects.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. The rate each tutor charges appears on your shortlist, so you compare before the demo, not after.
Fees rise with the class, the board, a specialist subject, longer lessons and more lessons a week. In Beta 1, a tutor's route can matter too: one who must drive through Pari Chowk or past Jagat Farm in the evening may prefer longer, less frequent lessons, while one who lives in the next sector is often happy with short, frequent ones.
Agree the monthly figure, the rule for missed lessons, and the plan for extra pre-exam classes before the second lesson.
We found no public library or reading room listed inside Beta 1. A 2026 study-space guide lists paid study rooms in the Alpha sectors next door and many in Knowledge Park II, plus a library run by the Greater Noida authority at its office complex; confirm hours and membership directly. The block parks are not study spaces, but a short walk in one between subjects helps many children concentrate.
Knowledge Park I, about a kilometre away, is mostly institutional rather than residential.

AI-first tutoring, with real teachers
You tell us the class, board, subject and where in Beta 1 you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Where AI stops and people start
Move out to the wider area or in to nearby sectors. Tutors usually travel short distances, so the closest areas are the most useful places to look.
Distances are straight-line estimates between sector centres from OpenStreetMap data; the road route is usually longer.

Curricula differ, and that matters when you pick a tutor for your child in Beta 1. A student on IB or IGCSE needs someone who knows how those courses are assessed, while a CBSE student in Class 12 Physics needs a tutor at ease with that board's papers. Tell us which applies, and NXTutors will shortlist people who teach it.
For the international programmes across Greater Noida, you can browse our IB tutors page. On this page, anyone who lives in Beta 1 or travels there appears first. Next you will see tutors from Beta 2, Delta 1 and the remaining pages of the Alpha–Delta & Pari Chowk zone, then the wider city, then home tutors from Delhi or Gurugram, and online teachers last. A line on every card says why it is shown.
For specialist subjects a mix can work well: a home tutor for weekly school support and an online tutor for one advanced paper. Before you book, ask the tutor which version of the syllabus they last taught and how they plan past-paper practice. Your opening class is a free demo, so you can judge the fit for yourself.
