Home tutors across Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta and Pari Chowk: the short answer

Every sector in this belt can get a home tutor through NXTutors, and online lessons are there when a specialist is needed. Tell us which sector and block you are in, plus the class, board, subject and preferred slot. We match two or three tutors who already travel within the belt, and the fee for each is on the shortlist before you decide. The demo class costs nothing, and neither does switching to another tutor later.

This zone is the planned heart of Greater Noida: eleven sectors around the end of the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway, with four Aqua Line stations along its western side. The guide below explains how the zone is laid out, how tutors move through it, and what that means for a weekly lesson.

The zone at a glance

GroupSectorsWhat the homes are likeNearest station
AlphaAlpha 1, Alpha 2Plotted houses and builder floors; Alpha 1's commercial belt; a few societies in Alpha 2ALPHA 1 (inside Alpha 1)

Boards: CBSE leads across the zone, followed by ICSE/ISC and UP Board, while some families look for IB or Cambridge IGCSE. Easier lesson windows: after school until the early-evening peak, and weekend mornings.

How the zone is laid out: five groups of sectors

Greater Noida names its sectors after the Greek alphabet, and Wikipedia lists Alpha, Beta and Gamma as the oldest. With the Delta sectors, they make up a block of mostly plotted housing that the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) laid out as the city's first residential core. Two more sectors close to Pari Chowk, P-3 and P-4, complete the zone.

The Alpha pair sits beside the expressway's end. Alpha 1 holds the ALPHA 1 metro station and a commercial belt of plazas; Alpha 2 mixes lettered blocks of houses with a few gated societies and new commercial buildings.

The Beta pair lies just south and east. Beta 1 is a sector of houses and block parks, with Shaheed Bismil Park inside it; Beta 2, which has a police station, is a fully built plotted sector where portals note many college students as tenants.

The Gamma pair carries the commerce. Jagat Farm, one of the busiest markets in the city, fills the southern end of Gamma 1, along with the Kadamba Shopping Complex and Shram Vihar Park. Gamma 2, east of it, is a quieter residential sector that Wikipedia says now houses GNIDA's office.

The Delta trio runs further east. Delta 1 has the DELTA 1 station in its Block A and a bi-weekly market; Delta 2 is houses in blocks G to K; Delta 3 is a sector of plots and houses on the eastern side of the older belt.

The Pari Chowk pair is the odd one out. Sector P-3 is a large plotted sector of houses and builder floors near the chowk, while Sector P-4, listed on portals as the Builders Area, is mostly group-housing societies with lifts and gates.

Which tutor fits your child?

Each sector in one line

  • Alpha 1: the only Alpha sector with its own station, ALPHA 1 in Block E, beside a commercial belt of plazas.
  • Alpha 2: houses in blocks such as F, G, H and I around a Main Market, plus a few apartment societies.
  • Beta 1: a green, plotted sector with Shaheed Bismil Park and Jagat Farm on its northern edge.
  • Beta 2: a fully occupied plotted sector with a police station and many rented homes.
  • Gamma 1: a commercial-cum-residential sector, home to Jagat Farm market and Shram Vihar Park.
  • Gamma 2: a residential sector between Gamma 1, Delta 3 and Beta 2, with the authority's present office.
  • Delta 1: plotted blocks A to F, with DELTA 1 station in Block A and a bi-weekly market.
  • Delta 2: residential plots and houses in blocks G to K, served by DELTA 1.
  • Delta 3: the eastern end of the older belt, with plots, houses and wide internal roads.
  • Sector P-3: a large plotted sector by Pari Chowk, with houses and builder floors.
  • Sector P-4: the Builders Area, mostly group-housing societies near Jalvayu Vihar.

What parents across the zone weigh

Public writing about this part of Greater Noida, from news reports, Wikipedia and property-portal reviews, keeps returning to a few points. Each translates into a tuition decision.

  • The metro is a strength. Portal reviews of the Alpha and Beta sectors praise the stations and the supply of autos and e-rickshaws. That lets families consider tutors who live anywhere along the Aqua Line, not just in the next lane.
  • Pari Chowk at office hours. News reports describe long jams on the expressway approaching Pari Chowk. If a tutor drives in from Noida, choose a slot that does not land them at the chowk at the worst time.
  • Markets that draw crowds. Jagat Farm is described as one of the city's busiest markets, and Wikipedia also cites a 2021 news item on plans for pedestrian links to decongest the area. Sectors near it feel the evening rush; the Delta sectors feel it much less.
  • Sector names confuse. In 2022 GNIDA weighed replacing Greek names with numbers, partly because an official said they confuse people and some sectors are hard to locate. Always give sector, block and house number together.
  • Plots and towers differ. In the plotted sectors a tutor rings the bell; in P-4's societies and the few societies of Alpha 2 they wait for a guard's call. Tell the tutor which kind of home they are visiting.

Stations and roads across the zone

Four Aqua Line stations serve the zone, in order from the Noida side: Pari Chowk (officially Jaypee Greens Pari Chowk, at Tugalpur village in the Knowledge Park I area), ALPHA 1 (Block E, Alpha 1), DELTA 1 (Block A, Delta 1), and GNIDA Office in Knowledge Park IV. Knowledge Park II, one stop before Pari Chowk, is close to Sector P-4. The line opened on 25 January 2019 and runs all the way from Noida Sector 51, where riders change for the Delhi Metro Blue Line.

The timetable sets the limits for evening lessons. NMRC lists the last trains towards Noida Sector 51 at about 10:01 pm from GNIDA Office, 10:03 pm from DELTA 1, 10:06 pm from ALPHA 1 and 10:08 pm from Pari Chowk. On Sundays, trains start from the end stations at 8 am. A tutor who relies on the metro can teach until the early evening comfortably.

By road, the six-lane Noida–Greater Noida Expressway ends at Pari Chowk, and the Yamuna Expressway towards Agra begins from that side of the city. The Surajpur–Kasna road runs past the west side of Jagat Farm. Two projects may ease trips for tutors coming from Noida: a new six-lane bridge over the Hindon linking the Aqua Line's Sector 146 station area with Knowledge Park 3, reported in August 2026 as nearly complete and offering a route that skips the expressway and Pari Chowk; and a bridge over the Hawalia drain near the Sector P-3 roundabout, approved by GNIDA in September 2025. Treat both as work in progress until they open fully.

How tutors move inside the zone

Within the zone, distances are short. Portals place Alpha 1 under a kilometre from Beta 1 and about a kilometre from Alpha 2, and Alpha 2 about a kilometre from Delta 1 and Beta 2. A tutor on a scooter can teach in two neighbouring sectors in an evening without touching the expressway.

Three practical clusters follow from the map. The Alpha–Beta–Gamma 1 cluster gathers around ALPHA 1 station and Jagat Farm, so its evening traffic is mostly market traffic. The Gamma 2–Delta cluster leans on DELTA 1 and GNIDA Office stations and is calmer in the evening. The Pari Chowk pair, P-3 and P-4, sits on the chowk itself, where the expressway's peak-hour queues are felt first.

A tutor who lives in your own cluster is the most reliable choice for a three-a-week routine. For a once-a-week specialist, a tutor further along the Aqua Line is often practical, because the stations sit inside or beside most of these sectors.

Entry, lesson space and safety

In the plotted sectors, which are most of the zone, there is no society gate. Share the block letter and house number, which floor you are on, and a pin on the map. Lettered blocks look alike to newcomers, so name a park, market or station as a landmark.

In Sector P-4's societies and the few gated societies elsewhere, put the tutor's name on the security list or visitor app ahead of the demo, give the tower and flat number, and ask the office about a standing entry for a regular visitor. Ask where a visitor can park.

Wherever the lesson happens, keep it in a shared room with an adult at home. Parents wanting a woman tutor can add that to the request, and one is shortlisted wherever available. Tutors who join NXTutors confirm a phone or email by one-time code and upload a government photo ID for our team to look over; read how we check tutors' IDs. That is an ID check, not a police or background check, so the free demo is also your chance to judge.

Boards across the zone

Most requests from this zone name CBSE; ICSE/ISC and UP Board follow, and a smaller number ask about IB or Cambridge IGCSE. The housing type changes little about which board a family follows, but the mix of owners and tenants means a single lane can hold children on three different boards.

For ICSE and ISC, ask the tutor whether they know CISCE's prescribed texts; our ICSE and ISC home tutors in Greater Noida page goes further. For UP Board, confirm the exam medium, since UPMSP's notices are mostly in Hindi; see our UP Board tutors for Greater Noida page. IB and IGCSE specialists are usually found online. The full comparison sits in our guide to choosing a board.

Class bands in the zone

Primary

The zone's houses and block parks suit short, frequent lessons. A tutor from the same cluster can come four days a week without the trip eating the lesson.

Middle school

One tutor for Maths and Science is common in Classes 6 to 8. Ask for a fortnightly test and a plan that follows the school's chapter order.

Classes 9 and 10

Board years need a fixed slot that survives school tests and festivals. CBSE's own notice confirms a second Class 10 sitting in May for students who wish to improve, but the plan should still aim at the main exam.

Classes 11 and 12

Seniors usually need one tutor per subject. With Knowledge Park and the Aqua Line close, many attend entrance classes outside the home and keep a home tutor for board subjects and practical work. Families looking at engineering entrances can start with our JEE home tutors in Greater Noida page.

Exam season in the zone

Board dates come only from the boards' own sites: CBSE, CISCE and UPMSP. CBSE's 2026 Class 10 main exam ran from 17 February to 11 March. From December, tutors' evenings fill, so agree extra revision lessons early, and favour afternoon slots in sectors near Jagat Farm and Pari Chowk, where evening travel is slowest.

Home, online or centre in this zone

For school subjects, a home tutor from the same cluster is usually the simplest choice here. Online lessons suit IB, IGCSE and rare subjects, and rainy or exam weeks. Coaching centres are easier to reach from this zone than from most of Greater Noida, thanks to the stations and Knowledge Park nearby, but the return trip in the evening rush still costs your child time. Many families combine a centre for entrance work with a home tutor for school marks.

Fees across the zone

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors price their own lessons, and the price is on the shortlist before any demo is booked.

What moves the number is class, board, subject, lesson length and frequency. In this zone, a tutor's route also matters: crossing Pari Chowk at peak hour can lead a tutor to prefer fewer, longer lessons, while a tutor in your own cluster is often comfortable with short, frequent ones.

Quiet study spots

A 2026 study-space guide mentions a few paid study rooms in the Alpha sectors, a larger cluster in Knowledge Park II, and a public library run by GNIDA at its office complex. Gamma 1's Shram Vihar Park and Beta 1's Shaheed Bismil Park are places for a break, not for study. Check hours and membership directly before relying on any of these.

Home tuition in Alpha–Delta & Pari Chowk

Most families live in independent houses and builder floors on authority plots, many built as ground-plus-one or ground-plus-two homes, arranged in lettered blocks. Jagat Farm in Gamma 1 is one of the busiest markets in the city, Alpha 1 has its own commercial belt, and Beta 2 has many college-student tenants. The Builders Area, as Sector P-4 is listed, differs from the rest, with apartment towers, lifts and society gates.

For a tutor who uses public transport, this is the easiest part of Greater Noida. The Aqua Line has two stations inside the zone, ALPHA 1 in Block E of Alpha 1 and DELTA 1 in Block A of Delta 1, with Pari Chowk and GNIDA Office at either end, and residents rate the autos and e-rickshaws. In the plotted blocks the tutor simply rings the bell. The pressure points are the Pari Chowk roundabout at the end of the expressway, which fills up at office hours, and the market roads around Jagat Farm once evening shoppers arrive.

NXTutors shows tutors for Alpha–Delta and Pari Chowk in order: those living in these sectors, then tutors who travel in, then the rest of Greater Noida, then online. Since a metro-plus-e-rickshaw trip is realistic here, a tutor based in Noida can be a practical choice too. Send your sector and block, the class, board and subject, and a slot. You get two or three matched tutors with fees shown upfront, and the first class is a free demo. Use the demo to judge each tutor's board-exam experience, and remember that switching later is free.

What home tuition costs in Greater Noida

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.

Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Example only, not a quote: one subject, one-hour classes, 4 weeks a month. Your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.
Classes a week Classes a month At ₹800 an hour At ₹2,500 an hour
2 8 ₹6,400 a month ₹20,000 a month
3 12 ₹9,600 a month ₹30,000 a month

Why one-to-one home tuition costs more than group coaching

In a coaching batch, one teacher's hour is shared by many students, so each family pays for a part of it. At home the whole hour is your child's: the pace, the questions and the homework check follow one student, and the tutor's travel to your home is part of the working day. A small group of two or three children from the same society usually costs less per child, with less individual attention.

Home tuition in Alpha–Delta & Pari Chowk: common questions

How do I find a home tutor anywhere in the Alpha–Delta and Pari Chowk zone?

To find a home tutor in the Alpha–Delta and Pari Chowk zone, send NXTutors your sector, block, class, board and subject. We match two or three tutors who travel within the zone, show each fee before you book, and make the first class a free demo, with free switching later.

Which Aqua Line stations serve the Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta sectors?

Four Aqua Line stations serve the zone: Pari Chowk, ALPHA 1 in Alpha 1, DELTA 1 in Delta 1, and GNIDA Office in Knowledge Park IV. Knowledge Park II is also close to Sector P-4, and e-rickshaws cover the last stretch to most homes.

What is the fee for a home tutor in the Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta sectors?

Home tutor fees in the Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta sectors are set by each tutor and shown before the free demo. Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.

Can I get a woman tutor in the Gamma or Delta sectors of Greater Noida?

Yes, families in the Gamma and Delta sectors can ask for a woman tutor, and NXTutors includes one in the shortlist where available for the class, subject and timing. Say so in your request and meet her at the free demo.

Should a student near Pari Chowk choose coaching or a home tutor?

A student near Pari Chowk can reach coaching easily, because Knowledge Park and two Aqua Line stations are close, but a home tutor saves the evening return trip. Many families use coaching for entrance work and a home tutor for board subjects.

Which boards do families in Greater Noida's Greek-letter core ask tutors for?

Families in the Alpha to Delta sectors mostly ask for CBSE tutors, followed by ICSE/ISC and UP Board. IB and Cambridge IGCSE requests are fewer, and those specialists are often matched online. Whatever the board, tell us the exam medium and the school's textbook list so the shortlist fits.

When is the last metro back to Noida from DELTA 1 or ALPHA 1?

Going towards Noida Sector 51, the final train leaves DELTA 1 at about 10:03 pm and ALPHA 1 at about 10:06 pm, according to NMRC. A tutor who uses the metro should finish evening lessons with a comfortable margin for the walk to the station.

Is Sector P-4 in Greater Noida different for home tuition?

Yes, Sector P-4, listed as the Builders Area, is mostly group-housing societies, unlike the plotted sectors around it. Give the guard or the society app the tutor's name before demo day, along with your tower and flat number. Ask the society office how regular visitors are recorded, and where a tutor can park a scooter.

Will the new Hindon bridge help tutors reach the Greek-letter sectors?

It may: the new six-lane Hindon bridge between the Sector 146 station area and Knowledge Park 3 was reported in August 2026 as nearly complete. It offers a route that skips the expressway and Pari Chowk, but plan around the current roads until it opens fully.

Which sectors are calmest for evening lessons in this zone?

The Gamma 2 and Delta sectors are usually calmer for evening lessons than the sectors around Jagat Farm and Pari Chowk. Market crowds near Gamma 1 and Beta 1 and peak-hour queues at Pari Chowk slow tutors, so favour afternoons there.

Can one tutor teach children in two different sectors of this zone?

Yes, because the sectors in this zone are close together, a tutor can often teach in two neighbouring sectors on the same evening. Portals place several of them about a kilometre apart, so a short scooter ride links them. Ask at the demo which other sectors the tutor already visits on your days.

Where do I search for home tuition in the Greek sectors of Greater Noida?

For home tuition in the Greek-letter sectors of Greater Noida, start from your sector's page in this zone, or send NXTutors a request directly. Tutors are shown nearest first: in the sector, then travelling in, then the zone, the city and online.

Which sectors are in the Alpha–Delta and Pari Chowk zone?

Alpha 1 and 2, Beta 1 and 2, Gamma 1 and 2, Delta 1, 2 and 3, and Sectors P-3 and P-4 near Pari Chowk. The Pi, Sigma and Swarn Nagri sectors south of Pari Chowk form one neighbouring zone, and the Omega, Chi and Phi sectors another.

Which metro stations serve Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta?

The Aqua Line's ALPHA 1 station in Block E of Alpha 1 and DELTA 1 station in Block A of Delta 1, with Pari Chowk and GNIDA Office nearby. Beta 1 and Gamma 1 are closest to ALPHA 1, Delta 2 uses DELTA 1, and Delta 3 uses DELTA 1 or GNIDA Office, with e-rickshaws for the last stretch.

Is Jagat Farm a problem for evening tuition?

It can be. Jagat Farm in Gamma 1 is one of the busiest markets in Greater Noida, and the roads around it fill up with shoppers and food stalls in the evening. If you live nearby, ask the tutor to approach through the back lanes of your block, or choose a slot before the market gets crowded.

How does NXTutors check tutors before a home visit?

Tutors who join go through an ID check: they confirm a phone number or email with a one-time code and upload a government photo ID, which our team reviews. It is not a police or background check, so meet the tutor at the free demo and keep an adult nearby.
