Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Yes, families in Sector 36, Greater Noida can get a home tutor. This is the Greater Noida sector near Pari Chowk in the Rho area, not Sector 36 in Noida, so mention "Greater Noida" when you write to us. Send your street or plot number, your child's class, board and subject, and NXTutors shares two or three matched tutors who travel to Sector 36 or teach online.
Each tutor's fee is visible before you book, the first class is a free demo, and you can switch tutor later at no cost. Because most homes here are independent houses on plots, the tutor usually rings your own doorbell rather than clearing a society gate, which makes the first visit simpler to arrange.

Sector 36 is a plotted residential sector of Greater Noida. Property portals describe it as part of the Rho zone close to Pari Chowk, with wide roads and homes that are mostly privately owned independent houses rather than tower blocks. That gives it a lower-density feel than the apartment belts of Greater Noida West, and it shapes how tuition works here.
In a house built on a plot, each family decides how its own floors are used. Many homes have a ground-floor drawing room or a spare room that can double as a study for an hour, and that is often easier to set aside than a corner in a flat. Some owners let out a floor, so a house may have a family upstairs and tenants below. If you rent a floor, tell the tutor which entrance and staircase to use.
Sector 36 is not only old plotted housing. Listing sites show flats and residential plots for sale, and SOBHA Aurum, a gated project of one- to four-bedroom apartments on about three and a half acres, was registered with UP RERA in June 2025. Once families move into new towers like that one, they will have the visitor rules of a gated society, so the advice in this guide splits into two: doorstep visits for houses, and gate approval for the apartments.
The neighbourhood list on portals is long because Sector 36 sits where several Greek-letter sectors meet. Sector 37 lies next door, Swarn Nagri, Pi I and II and the Sigma sectors are around it, and Rho I, Rho 2, Omicron III and Surajpur Site 4 complete the ring. For tuition, that means a tutor living in one of those pockets can often reach you without touching a main road.
Daily needs are close at hand. Locality pages mention a grocery store and a hospital nearby, and the Grand Venice Mall stands on the Surajpur–Kasna Road next to Pari Chowk. Knowledge Park, with its colleges and hostels, is a short drive north, which is why some households here include students in senior classes or young adults preparing for entrance tests.
There is not much public discussion that is specific to Sector 36. The locality review pages we found carry very few reviews, so the themes below are a light guide rather than a verdict, and each comes with a practical answer for tuition.
Review pages for the sector list well-lit streets, roads with sidewalks and a feeling of safety after dark among the positives. The flip side is that Pari Chowk is next door, and real-estate guides describe heavy peak-hour traffic there. For a parent, the answer is timing: a tutor coming from beyond the junction should be booked for a slot that avoids its evening rush, while a tutor from Pi or Sector 37 is less affected.
With a house rather than a flat, privacy is less of a problem, but a drawing room that also receives guests can be noisy. Parents tend to want one fixed room for the session, with the door open and an adult in the house.
Portals carry many new project listings around the sector, and the SOBHA Aurum registration shows new apartments coming in. When a street has construction going on, parents may prefer the session indoors at the back of the house, or online on days when the noise is heavy.
Reviewers mention green areas and parks around Sector 36. That matters for younger children, who often concentrate better after a short time outdoors, so a session straight after play can work well.
Sector 36 has no metro station of its own. The Aqua Line runs through Greater Noida with stations at Knowledge Park II, Pari Chowk, Alpha 1, Delta 1, GNIDA Office and Depot. For Sector 36, developer and portal pages name Delta 1 and Alpha 1 as the nearby stations. A tutor who comes by metro gets off at one of these and finishes by e-rickshaw, auto or a short ride from a friend.
Pari Chowk is the main junction near the sector. The Noida–Greater Noida Expressway ends there, the Surajpur–Kasna Road crosses it, and the Yamuna Expressway begins close by. A tutor coming from Noida usually drives or rides down the Expressway to Pari Chowk and turns towards Sector 36. Because so much traffic funnels through this junction, the same trip can feel very different at 4 pm and at 7 pm.
Tutors from Sector 37, Swarn Nagri, Pi or the Sigma sectors can often reach you on internal roads. That is the easiest arrangement for four or five sessions a week. A tutor from Alpha, Beta or Knowledge Park has a slightly longer trip across the junction, which suits two or three longer sessions instead.
Plotted streets look alike to a newcomer, and house numbers are not always easy to read from the road. Send the tutor a map pin, the block or pocket name, and a landmark such as a park corner or a corner shop. If your house has a separate gate for tenants, say which gate to use.
For most families in Sector 36 the tutor comes straight to the house, so there is no visitor app to deal with. A few simple arrangements still help.
If you would like a woman tutor, mention it when you request; our female home tutors in Greater Noida page explains how that works. Tutors who join NXTutors go through an ID check; you can read how the ID check works. It is not a police or background check, so use the free demo to meet the tutor and ask your own questions.
Families in Sector 36 mostly ask for CBSE tutors, with ICSE and ISC next. UP Board requests come up too, often with a question about Hindi or English medium, and a smaller number of families want IB or Cambridge IGCSE support.
In a house, the practical difference by board is about space and time. An ISC or senior CBSE student who needs separate tutors for Physics and Mathematics can use the same study room on alternate evenings without disturbing a sibling. For CBSE Class 10, the board now offers a second, optional exam in May with the better score counting, as set out on cbse.gov.in, so ask the tutor how they would pace the year. For IB or IGCSE, specialists who travel this far south are fewer, and an online specialist alongside a home tutor for other subjects is a common answer. Our CBSE tutors in Greater Noida page has more on that board, and our CBSE vs ICSE vs IB vs IGCSE comparison sets the four side by side.
Keep sessions short and early, ideally soon after school. A low table in a ground-floor room, with crayons, a reading book and the school diary within reach, works better than a dining table in the middle of the household. Ask the tutor how they will build reading fluency and number sense, and whether they share a weekly note for parents. If you want a tutor for these years, our primary home tutors in Greater Noida page explains what to look for.
One tutor often handles maths and science together at this stage. The aim moves from finishing homework to building a method the child can repeat alone. Ask for a short weekly test that follows the school's chapter order, and keep the corrected sheets in one folder so you can see progress at a glance. A child who struggles with one subject may do better with a specialist, for example through our maths home tutor in Greater Noida page.
Sessions get longer and many families split subjects between two tutors. In a house, that is easy to manage: one tutor on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, another on the other days, both in the same room. Ask each tutor to keep a list of chapters covered, previous-year papers attempted and marks, so the two plans do not overlap.
Most students need subject specialists, and some also attend entrance coaching. Home sessions then do the work coaching skips: board-style answer writing, practical files, and chapters that were rushed. Whoever you shortlist, judge them in the demo by how clearly they explain one past-paper question your child got wrong.
Board dates come only from the boards themselves: cbse.gov.in, cisce.org and upmsp.edu.in. Do not plan around a date that has not yet been announced.
Home tuition fits Sector 36 well. The house usually has a room that can be kept quiet, there is no gate to clear, and the child does not have to travel through the junction in the evening. The main limit is choice: a tutor has to be willing to travel this far, so the nearby sectors are the natural pool.
Online tuition widens that pool to all of India. It suits ISC, IB, IGCSE and senior science subjects, where a specialist may live far away. It needs a laptop, a steady connection and a child who can focus on a screen. Our online tutors for Greater Noida page explains how sessions run.
A centre gives a timetable and classmates. For a child in Sector 36, that usually means a ride towards Pari Chowk or Knowledge Park at the busiest time of day, and attention shared with a batch. Many families combine a centre for entrance preparation with a home tutor for board subjects.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
Inside that picture, a quote for Sector 36 depends on the class and board, the subject, the length of each session and how many sessions you want each week. Travel also matters here. A tutor from Sector 37 or Pi can fit you in between other students, while one coming down the Expressway at rush hour may prefer longer sessions or fewer visits a week.
To check a monthly figure, multiply sessions a week by the hours in each and the weeks in the month, then ask what is included: test papers, notes, a monthly report, or a make-up class if one is missed. Every tutor's fee is on their profile before the free demo, so you can compare two or three before deciding.
We could not confirm a public library or a community study room inside Sector 36 from a reliable source. Reviewers mention parks and green areas, which are good for a break between study blocks but not for a session. In practice, a fixed room in your own house remains the most dependable study space.

Sector 36 is one of the two numbered sectors in the Pi, Sigma & Sectors 36–37 zone, the other being Sector 37, and the zone has nine pages on NXTutors in all. A request from here, for any subject or class, brings two or three suggested tutors to compare.
Senior science is one place where a little planning helps. An ISC student juggling Physics, Chemistry and Biology may want a single tutor for the hardest subject rather than three at once, and that is a reasonable way to begin. The ICSE and ISC papers are set by CISCE, so name the syllabus clearly. If your child is on an IB programme instead, mention the subjects and levels, and see our IB tutors page for Greater Noida.
When you meet a tutor for the free demo, ask how they handle diagrams, practical work and revision before tests. Ask too how they will tell you about progress, whether by a weekly message or a short chat after class. Tutors listed for Pi 1, Pi 2 or Sigma 1 may also be willing to come to Sector 36, so it is worth reading those cards as well. Give the fit a few lessons before you judge it.
