Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Xu 3 sits on the far southern edge of the Xu sectors, near Raipur village. It has independent houses and some small GNIDA flats, many homes face parks, and the lanes are quiet. Lighting and transport are what parents here plan around, so this guide spends most of its time on routes, daylight timing and what changes between a house and a flat.

| Metro | None in the sector; the Aqua Line's southern stations (GNIDA Office, Depot) are reached by road |
| Big junction | Pari Chowk |

| Parent planning point | Daylight sessions, because some internal lanes lack working street lights |
Xu 3 is a GNIDA residential sector that grew from two kinds of housing. The first is the plotted part: independent houses, mostly two-bedroom, many of them facing parks or the green belt. The second is authority-built housing. A GNIDA flat list for Sector Xu 3 shows four-storey blocks of small flats of about 36 square metres, and a GNIDA completion certificate lists an EWS (economically weaker section) scheme in Xu 3 completed in 2023. An allotment for a further scheme covering Xu 2 and Xu 3 followed in March 2024.
So the sector has families who own a house and plot, families who were allotted a compact authority flat, and tenants. Rental listings show builder floors and single rooms alongside whole houses, which suggests some owners let out part of the house.
Reviewers describe Xu 3 as green and quiet, and one notes that many houses are still unoccupied. Development has been slower than some residents hoped, and the main market feels far away. For tuition, this has two effects. First, homes have space but the lanes are empty, so a tutor's arrival and departure time matters more than in a busy sector. Second, households are still settling in, and a family that moves within the zone can often keep the same tutor.
In a compact authority flat, the study space will be small. A folding table in the quietest room, cleared before the tutor arrives, works better than the bed or the floor. In a two-bedroom house, a front room near the door suits younger children because the parent can see and hear the lesson.
The public reviews of Xu 3 are few and mixed. Paraphrased, these are the themes that affect tuition.
The most repeated concern is lights that are missing or not working on some lanes, and a reviewer says they would not walk alone after early evening. Other reviewers call the area safe at night. The practical answer is the same either way: book daylight slots, especially in winter, and switch on your gate light when a session ends late.
Some reviewers say parts of the roads need repair, while others describe them as well maintained. A tutor on a scooter will manage, but in the rainy season a pothole-heavy lane can add delay. Agree a little slack on the start time in the monsoon months.
Shops and public transport inside the sector are thin, and the main market is a drive away. Keep stationery, a spare notebook and printer paper at home before exam months, so a session is not lost to a missing notebook.
Reviewers like the green belt and park-facing homes. This is a genuine plus: a calm house is an easier place to concentrate than a busy tower with lifts and corridors.
Xu 3 has no metro station. The Aqua Line ends at Depot, one stop after GNIDA Office in Knowledge Park IV, and both are some distance from the sector by road. A tutor coming by metro would need a cab or e-rickshaw for the last stretch, and those are not easy to find inside Xu 3. In practice, almost every tutor who teaches here regularly rides a two-wheeler.
Ajaibpur and Boraki railway stations are the closest listed for Xu 3. These help a tutor who lives along the Dadri side; anyone else will still come by road.
From the rest of Greater Noida, tutors usually come via Pari Chowk, the city's big junction, and then on towards the Xu sectors. The Noida–Greater Noida Expressway ends at Pari Chowk, so a tutor coming from Noida passes through that junction at the busiest hours. For them, a weekend slot or a slot before the evening peak is the more reliable option.
Tutors already in Xu 1, Xu 2, Mu 1, Mu 2 or Omicron 1A have the easiest trips. Omicron 3 and Sigma 4 are also close. Ask each tutor which sector they start from, and prefer one who can reach you in daylight on your chosen days.
With empty plots and park-facing rows, house numbers are not always easy to follow. For a flat, give the block and floor; for a house, the plot number and the park it faces. A map pin removes most of the guesswork.
What the tutor needs on arrival depends on your housing type.
CBSE is the board Xu 3 families ask about most, followed by UP Board and ICSE/ISC. For ICSE students, our ICSE home tutors in Greater Noida page explains how ICSE tutoring is organised.
In a compact authority flat, the board matters less than the hour and the space; in a house, it mostly decides how far a suitable tutor has to ride. A specialist for ISC or an international board may teach online. For the detailed comparison, use our which-board guide for CBSE, ICSE, IB and IGCSE.
For young children, the routine matters more than the length of the class. An afternoon session soon after school, three to five days a week, keeps the habit going and keeps the tutor's ride in daylight.
Reading, writing and grammar often need work at this stage, alongside maths. Our English tutors in Greater Noida page explains how English tutoring sessions run. Ask for one short written piece a week that the tutor marks.
Board-pattern practice starts here. Ask the tutor to plan the year chapter by chapter and to set one timed test each month. A tutor from the Xu or Mu sectors can usually give two or three visits a week.
Seniors need subject specialists, and these may live further away. A common answer in Xu 3 is to have the hardest subject at home on weekends and the rest online. The Class 12 tuition page for Greater Noida has more on planning the final school year.
JEE and NEET students who travel to coaching often get home tired and late. Short online doubt sessions on weekdays, plus a longer home session on Sunday, avoid an extra evening trip on dim lanes.
Winter brings both board revision and early sunsets, which is when the lighting concern matters most. Move longer revision sessions to weekend mornings, keep weekday visits early, and use online sessions for late doubt-clearing. Check exam dates only on cbse.gov.in, cisce.org or upmsp.edu.in, and plan mock papers backwards from the official date sheet.
A home tutor suits Xu 3's quiet houses, especially for primary children and for any student who needs close checking of written answers.
Online lessons take the dark-lane and transport questions away completely. They also open up specialists who would not ride this far, for example in senior sciences or an international board.
A coaching centre means leaving the sector for every class, usually by car. It can be worth it for entrance preparation with a fixed syllabus, while a home or online tutor keeps school subjects on track.
Most Xu 3 families end up with a blend: daylight home sessions on weekdays or weekends, and online sessions for the evenings.
If you are unsure, use the free demo to test the format as well as the tutor. Try the first lesson at home, then ask the same tutor for one online session the following week, and see which one your child follows more easily before you fix the term's timetable.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
For Xu 3, the class, board and subject come first, then the length of each session and the number of visits a week. The ride matters as well: a tutor from Xu 1 or Mu 2 can come often for short sessions, while one coming via Pari Chowk may prefer fewer, longer visits on weekends.
Confirm what the fee covers, such as worksheets, test papers and a make-up session, and work out the total for a month. All fees are visible on the matched tutors' profiles before the free demo.
We found no public library or reading room listed for Xu 3, so none is suggested here. Reviewers mention park-facing homes and a green belt; a short walk there in daylight is a good break between revision blocks. For long study hours, a cleared table at home stays the quietest choice.

Two children, two classes, one evening? In Xu 3 you can ask for a single tutor who teaches both, or for two tutors who each suit one child. Say so in your request, with each child's class, board and subjects, and we will look at both needs together.
A few questions are worth asking before you book: how the tutor plans a lesson, how they prepare a child for school tests, and what they need from you, perhaps a clear table and an hour without interruptions. That first meeting is a free demo, which gives your children a chance to tell you honestly how it felt.
Tutors who live in or travel to Xu 3 are listed first. Others from the Omicron, Mu & Xu zone follow, such as those on the Xu 1 or Omicron 1 pages, and after them tutors from across Greater Noida. If the right person is still not there, home tutors based in Ghaziabad, Noida or Delhi, and then online teachers, complete the page, each card with its reason.
