Tutors who join go through an ID check. Tell us the class, board and your area: we share two or three matched tutors, each with their fee, and the first class is a free demo, at home or online.
Book a free demo classAcross NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Medical entrance preparation in Bhilai usually runs beside a CGBSE or CBSE science course, and for many students beside a coaching class as well. A home tutor earns a place in that crowded week only by doing something specific: checking that biology read on Monday is still there on Friday, sitting with the student through physics numericals that stall, and keeping the Class 12 board papers and practical records moving. This page explains how Bhilai families arrange that help, where the state board's biology course meets the NEET syllabus, how to practise the paper in the way it is sat, and how tutors reach colonies from Kailash Nagar to Padum Nagar. The national NEET home tutor page covers the exam in full.
The NTA's 2026 information bulletin set NEET (UG) as one pen-and-paper sitting of 180 compulsory multiple-choice questions. Biology, with botany and zoology together, had 90 of them; physics and chemistry had 45 each. The paper carried 720 marks, with four marks for each correct answer and one taken away for each wrong one. The National Medical Commission notifies the syllabus, and its biology section has ten units, five from Class 11 and five from Class 12, built on the NCERT books. The bulletin is revised every year, so read the current one on neet.nta.nic.in before you plan.
A request that says only "NEET tuition" tends to produce an hour spread too thin. The three subjects need different kinds of attention, so name them separately when you ask for a tutor.
| Subject | Type of help | In practice |
|---|---|---|
| Biology | Short, regular recall checks | The student explains a process aloud, draws and labels a diagram from memory, and finds the textbook line a question rests on |
| Physics | Problems worked side by side | The tutor watches the set-up, the units and each step, and stops at the first wrong move, not at the final answer |
| Chemistry | Split by topic type | Calculation topics handled like physics; reactions and periodic trends checked like biology |
If your child already attends a coaching class, the tutor's agenda should come from that class: questions left unsolved, chapters rushed, and test answers marked wrong. The tutor then supports the class instead of competing with it.
The board's 2026-27 blueprint for Class 12 Biology (203) gives 70 marks to theory and 30 to practicals. The theory marks are spread across five units, and the chapter names will look familiar to anyone who has opened the NCERT biology book:
| Unit | Chapters | Marks |
|---|---|---|
| Reproduction | Sexual reproduction in flowering plants, human reproduction, reproductive health | 16 |
| Genetics and evolution | Principles of inheritance and variation, molecular basis of inheritance, evolution | 20 |
| Biology in human welfare | Human health and disease, microbes in human welfare | 12 |
| Biotechnology | Principles and processes, applications | 12 |
| Ecology | Organisms and populations, ecosystem, biodiversity and conservation | 10 |
Genetics and evolution is the heaviest unit on the board paper, and inheritance and its molecular basis also take a large share of entrance practice, so time spent there pays twice. The difference lies in the answers. The board wants written explanations and labelled diagrams; NEET wants a fast, exact choice among four options. A good tutor teaches the chapter once and then practises it both ways. Because the practical part is assessed on its own, the record and the viva should not be left to the final month. Our Chhattisgarh Board home tutor in Bhilai page explains the board's papers, and the CBSE home tutor in Bhilai page covers CBSE.
One more planning point from the board's scheme: a science student takes Physics and Chemistry with either Biology or Mathematics, and may add the other as an extra subject. A student unsure between medicine and engineering can keep both, at the cost of one more full paper each year.
Chemistry confuses NEET plans because it behaves like two subjects. Physical chemistry, with moles, equilibrium, thermodynamics and electrochemistry, is calculation; a tutor needs to see the working exactly as in physics. Inorganic chemistry and much of organic chemistry are pattern and memory: trends in the periodic table, reactions and reagents, which respond to the same short checks that suit biology. Organic mechanisms sit in between, since they need reasoning as well as recall. Ask at the demo which half is costing your child marks, and book that half, not full chemistry sessions for a student who is weak in only one.
| When | What | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Each morning | Reading the current biology chapter | Self-study |
| Two weekday evenings | A brief recall check on that reading | Online |
| One longer weekday session | Physics: unsolved class questions, one idea rebuilt, then timed numericals | At home |
| One session | Chemistry, whichever half is weaker | Home or online |
| Weekend morning | A full practice paper on paper, reviewed the same day | At home |
This is only an example. What carries over is the shape: frequent short biology checks, fewer and longer physics sittings, and one complete paper each week with a careful review.
| Locality | Nearby colonies tutors come from | Detail worth sharing |
|---|---|---|
| Kailash Nagar | Jawahar Nagar, Kurud, Sunder Nagar, Vaishali Nagar | The colony name exactly as it appears on your gate, since nearby names sound alike |
| Junwani | Kohka, Smriti Nagar, Nehru Nagar, and teachers from Durg | Write "Junwani, Bhilai" and give a turning from Junwani Road |
| Maitri Kunj | Gandhi Nagar, Ashish Nagar, Pragati Nagar, Talpur | Block or lane, house number and a corner a visitor would recognise |
| Risali | Risali's colonies and the township sectors next door | The exact colony or sector, since the name covers a wide area |
| Charoda | Padum Nagar and Bhilai-3 | Colony, lane and house number; say if you are near Padum Nagar or Bhilai-3 |
| Padum Nagar | Charoda, Shanti Nagar, Bhilai-3 | The turning from Umda Road and a map pin for the first visit |
Zone pages: Smriti Nagar and Kohka, Risali and Maitri Kunj and Bhilai-3 and Charoda. All localities appear on the Bhilai home tutors page, and the Bhilai home tuition guide gives address and timing advice for each zone.
The 2026 bulletin offered the question booklet in English, in Hindi with English alongside, and in English paired with one of several regional languages. Many Bhilai students learn science in Hindi at school, meet English terms in class, or move between both. Biology is heavy with vocabulary in either language, so settle the booklet in Class 11 and practise with that language's terms from then on. A tutor who can explain in both languages, but who insists the student answers in the chosen one, is the safest choice. Check the options in the current bulletin.
The 2026 paper was on paper, so home practice belongs on paper as well: a printed paper, a separate answer sheet and one unbroken sitting. After each paper the tutor should record, subject by subject, the answers marked wrong, the questions left blank and the point where time ran short. Since a wrong answer costs a mark, a clear rule for when to skip a doubtful question, agreed with the tutor and then kept, can matter as much as another chapter. After a few papers the record shows whether the problem is knowledge, accuracy or speed, and the sessions should change to match.
| Stage | Focus | Bhilai note |
|---|---|---|
| Class 11 | The five Class 11 biology units; mechanics made solid; a glossary in the chosen language | CGBSE Class 11 physics, chemistry and biology each carry 70 theory and 30 practical marks |
| Class 12 | Repeated biology revision; timed physics; written board practice | Genetics and evolution weighs most on the CGBSE paper; keep practical records moving |
| Another attempt | Last year's mock papers studied to see where marks leaked; those chapters taught again | Daytime home sessions open up more tutors |
Under the 2026 bulletin, candidates had to be at least 17, and no upper age was set; confirm the current rule before planning another year. Further reading: NEET biology, NCERT first, the NEET physics tutor page, and our Bhilai biology, physics and chemistry pages.
If the match does not feel right, we set up another demo, and switching later is free. Read the parents' demo checklist beforehand.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Each tutor names their own fee, visible to you before the demo. When comparing, ask how many sessions a week the tutor proposes and which would be online. The pricing guide and home tuition fees in Bhilai help with the comparison.
Share the class, board, booklet language, the subjects that need help, your weekly timetable and your colony with a landmark. Two or three matched tutors reach you, and you choose one for a free demo class. Each tutor on the platform completes an ID check; the Verified badge appears only after the ID check is complete (what the check covers). For engineering entrance, see the JEE home tutor in Bhilai page; nearby, the Raipur home tutors page serves the capital, and teachers can browse Bhilai tuition jobs.

The CGBSE Class 12 biology blueprint covers the same five units NEET draws on: reproduction, genetics and evolution, biology in human welfare, biotechnology and ecology. Genetics and evolution carries 20 of the 70 theory marks. The board wants written answers and diagrams, so a tutor should practise each chapter both ways.
Biology and physics need different help because biology is mostly recall and physics is mostly working. Biology suits short, regular checks, often online, where the student explains and draws from memory. Physics suits fuller sittings at the table, where the tutor watches each step and stops the first wrong move.
Not always; a Bhilai NEET student should first find out which half of chemistry is costing marks. Physical chemistry is calculation and suits the table, like physics. Inorganic and much of organic chemistry are recall and suit short online checks. Book the weaker half rather than everything.
The NEET (UG) 2026 paper had 180 compulsory multiple-choice questions on paper, for 720 marks. Biology had 90 questions, and physics and chemistry had 45 each. A right answer earned four marks and a wrong one lost a mark. The bulletin changes yearly, so read the current one.
A Bhilai student should choose the NEET booklet language in Class 11 and practise in it from then on. The 2026 bulletin offered English, Hindi with English, and English with a regional language. A tutor can explain in both Hindi and English but should ask for answers in the chosen language.
NEET tutors usually come to Kailash Nagar from Jawahar Nagar or Kurud, to Maitri Kunj from Ashish Nagar or Pragati Nagar, and to Padum Nagar from Charoda or Bhilai-3. Give the colony name as written on your gate, the house number, and for Padum Nagar the turning from Umda Road.
NEET practice papers at home should be done on paper, in one sitting, with a separate answer sheet. Afterwards the tutor records wrong answers, blanks and where time ran short, subject by subject. Agree a rule for skipping doubtful questions, since a wrong answer costs a mark.
Yes, a CGBSE science student can keep both open by taking Biology or Mathematics as the main choice and the other as an extra subject, codes 803 or 804. It adds a full paper every year, so plan tuition hours and the weekly timetable before choosing it.
Tell us the class, board and your area. We share two or three matched tutors, and the first class is a free demo.
