Home tutor jobs in Dilsukhnagar, LB Nagar and Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad

Owner-occupied family houses on colony roads are common along the Hyderabad–Vijayawada highway, and that gives this south-eastern zone a settled, neighbourhood feel. For a tutor, it also means a lot of doorstep visits and, with the Red Line running through, a route that does not depend on the busy roads.

Dilsukhnagar began as a suburb on farmland and is now a main commercial hub of the east, with multi-storey apartment buildings and independent houses behind a shop-lined main road. LB Nagar, around its crossroads with Karmanghat and Lingojiguda nearby, is mostly apartments but keeps older houses in its colonies. Kothapet, on a strip of NH 65, and its sub-area Chaitanyapuri have many family homes in the lanes behind the fruit market, which moved here from Jambagh in 1980. Saroornagar grew around a lake built in the late sixteenth century in the Qutb Shahi era, and mixes houses, builder floors and flats. Malakpet, home to the race course since 1886, is dense older houses and buildings, and Vanasthalipuram, once forest and hunting ground, is largely plotted colonies beside a deer park.

Getting to Dilsukhnagar, LB Nagar & Vanasthalipuram

The Red Line opened from Ameerpet to LB Nagar on 24 September 2018. In this zone its stations are Malakpet, New Market, Musarambagh, Dilsukhnagar, Chaitanyapuri, Victoria Memorial and LB Nagar, the southern terminus; Victoria Memorial is in LB Nagar, between Chaitanyapuri and LB Nagar stations. Malakpet also has an MMTS suburban station. A tutor living anywhere up the line towards the centre, or beyond Ameerpet to Miyapur, can come in by train and finish on foot or by auto.

Chaitanyapuri is Kothapet's stop. Saroornagar has no station of its own but is close to Dilsukhnagar, Chaitanyapuri and LB Nagar. Vanasthalipuram is the stretch beyond the line, reached by auto along the highway from LB Nagar.

What families in Dilsukhnagar, LB Nagar & Vanasthalipuram ask for

The zone research names Telangana SSC and Intermediate through to CBSE as the range families here ask for. The SSC is conducted by the Directorate of Government Examinations at the end of Class 10, with six papers and Science split into Physical Science and Biological Science; Intermediate students take groups such as MPC and BiPC under the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education. If you teach these, say exactly which papers and groups. CBSE tutors should name classes and subjects in the same plain way.

A request from Dilsukhnagar, LB Nagar, Kothapet, Vanasthalipuram, Saroornagar or Malakpet is matched nearest first: tutors who live in the zone, then tutors who already travel into it, then the wider city, then online. Two or three reach the family. A tutor on the Red Line further north can add the localities near these stations as travel areas.

Society entry and visitor norms

Most visits end at the front door, especially in the plotted colonies of Saroornagar and Vanasthalipuram. Flats may keep a gate register, so ask the family to add your name there. Malakpet's homes are packed closely, older family houses and builder floors beside flats, and a tutor walking from the station rarely has to hunt for parking. Ask for the colony name and the nearest station with every address.

Timings that work in Dilsukhnagar, LB Nagar & Vanasthalipuram

Dilsukhnagar Main Road, the Kothapet market, Nalgonda X Roads and the LB Nagar crossroads are busy for much of the day. A tutor arriving by metro keeps time better than one on the road, and evening slots after the peak help. For Vanasthalipuram, allow time for the auto along the highway from LB Nagar, and fix the weekly slot outside office hours.

The line also makes it easy to link lessons. A tutor can teach a student near Malakpet after school, ride three or four stops to Dilsukhnagar or Chaitanyapuri for a second lesson, and finish at LB Nagar, all without the road. If you want to teach Vanasthalipuram as well, put it at the end of the evening, since that leg needs the auto along the highway.

Questions from tutors

Which station should I use for Kothapet and Saroornagar?

Chaitanyapuri for Kothapet. For Saroornagar, Dilsukhnagar, Chaitanyapuri or LB Nagar, then an auto into the colony.

How do I reach Vanasthalipuram?

Ride the Red Line to its LB Nagar terminus and take an auto along the highway. Most homes are family houses in plotted colonies, so the visit ends at the front door.

By metro, usually. Malakpet has a Red Line station and an MMTS station, while the Nalgonda X Roads junction stays congested for long parts of the day.

How do families here see my fee?

On your profile, before the free demo. You set it yourself, and joining is free. The section below explains leads, credits and how you get paid.

What should I write on my profile for families in this zone?

Your boards and classes in exact terms, the subjects you teach, and the station you live near. For Telangana SSC, say whether you teach both Physical Science and Biological Science; for Intermediate, name the groups. Add Dilsukhnagar, Kothapet or LB Nagar as travel areas if you can reach them on the Red Line.
