Now taking on home, online and hybrid tutors · in Ameerpet, Begumpet & Punjagutta, Hyderabad
Where do the city's metro lines meet? At Ameerpet, the interchange between the Red Line and the Blue Line. For a tutor, that makes this zone one of the easiest in Hyderabad to reach: if you live almost anywhere along either line, from Miyapur or LB Nagar to Nagole or HITEC City, you can get here without leaving the metro.
No open home-tuition requests in Ameerpet, Begumpet & Punjagutta right now. New family requests appear here as they come in; add Ameerpet, Begumpet & Punjagutta to your travel areas so they can reach you.
The zone sits north and west of Hussain Sagar and mixes busy commercial roads with quieter colonies. Ameerpet, bordered by Balkampet and Sanath Nagar, is known across the city for software-training institutes, student hostels and paying-guest homes, with older independent houses, apartment buildings and some gated complexes in the lanes behind. Begumpet, once a small suburb between Hyderabad and Secunderabad, ranges from independent houses to apartment buildings, with Rasoolpura and Bowenpally nearby; its airport no longer runs regular passenger flights but still handles training and charter flying. Punjagutta has offices and large shops on its main road, twin flyovers over its junction, and residential pockets such as Dwarakapuri and the Officers Colony behind, generally quieter than the commercial frontage.
The Red Line opened from Miyapur to Ameerpet on 29 November 2017 and from Ameerpet to LB Nagar on 24 September 2018; Punjagutta, one stop from the interchange, opened with the second section. The Blue Line opened from Nagole to Ameerpet on 29 November 2017, with Rasoolpura, Prakash Nagar and Begumpet stations in this zone. Begumpet's railway station, on the MMTS Hyderabad–Lingampalli and Falaknuma–Lingampalli routes, stands beside the Begumpet metro stop, so a tutor can use either network and finish on foot or by auto.
Ameerpet's many hostels and paying-guest homes house students and young professionals, while the colonies behind the main roads hold families in houses and flats. For school-age students, Hyderabad requests cover the Telangana SSC and Intermediate, CBSE, ICSE and ISC, and IB or IGCSE. The zone research gives no breakdown by locality, so be specific on your own profile about the classes, boards and subjects you teach.
Rail links widen the pool of tutors who can realistically come here, and the order families see is still nearest first: tutors living in Ameerpet, Begumpet or Punjagutta, then tutors who already travel into the zone, then the wider city, then online. Because the interchange makes the trip easy, listing these localities as travel areas is worth it for tutors along both lines.
One point is particular to this zone. Because the interchange draws tutors from so many directions, families here may receive profiles from tutors who live far apart. What decides between them is usually the detail: the boards and classes you name, whether you have taught the same syllabus recently, and the evenings you keep free. For Telangana SSC students, for example, it helps to say whether you cover both Physical Science and Biological Science, since the board splits Science into those two papers.
Many buildings in the colony lanes hold several households, and some are hostels or shared buildings, so ask for the floor and a landmark along with the address. Apartment buildings register visitors, while independent houses allow a doorstep arrival. In the quieter pockets behind Punjagutta's shops, the walk from the station is short. Confirm the parent's phone number before the first visit in case the building has no clear signboard.
Road traffic is the catch. The Ameerpet main road crowds with students and shoppers in the evening, and the Begumpet flyovers and the Punjagutta junction are crowded at peak hours. Aim for a lesson just before the evening rush or later in the evening, rather than one that sits inside it. Coming by metro sidesteps most of the road traffic, but the stations themselves are busy at those times, so leave a margin for the walk out.
Because the zone is a crossing point, it also suits tutors who teach in more than one part of the city. A student near Begumpet after school and another on the same metro line later in the evening can fit in one trip, which is harder to arrange in zones without rail.

A family request that fits your subjects, classes, board, areas and hours reaches your dashboard. Opening the family's contact details uses lead credits, and the credit price is shown on the request before you open it. At most 5 tutors can open one request, and a request stays open for 7 days. Credit packs are there if you need more.
You set your own fee. When a family pays for classes through NXTutors, you receive 50% of the fee for home tuition in the first month and the full fee after that, and 70% of the fee for online tuition every month. Payments are held for 7 days, then paid out weekly. How you get paid.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
Ameerpet is where the Red and Blue Lines cross, and Begumpet adds three Blue Line stops and an MMTS platform. From almost any stretch of either line you can arrive without switching to a bus.
Rasoolpura, Prakash Nagar and Begumpet on the Blue Line, and the MMTS station beside the Begumpet metro stop on the Lingampalli routes.
The floor, a landmark and the parent's phone number. Many buildings hold several households or hostels, so a building name alone may not be enough on a first visit.

Generally, yes. Pockets such as Dwarakapuri lie behind the shopfronts, calmer than the main road and a short walk or auto from Punjagutta station on the Red Line.
