Physics tutor jobs in Hyderabad

Physics in a Hyderabad junior college is two jobs at once. The Intermediate paper wants written answers and a practical record; TG EAPCET wants forty one-mark answers in roughly forty minutes. Many students also attend coaching for JEE or NEET. Families look for a physics tutor who can tell which of these needs attention this month and adjust without throwing the plan away.

Who asks for physics tutors in Hyderabad

First-year Intermediate physics changed with the revised textbooks from 2026-27. Under the TGBIE circular, Physics in the first year is a 60-mark theory paper with a 15-mark external practical, so lab work now carries real weight in year one. Physics is common to the MPC and BiPC groups, and the revised scheme applies to the first year only; for second year, tutors follow whatever the board publishes for that batch.

TG EAPCET follows Intermediate. Its official syllabus says it is in tune with the TGBIE syllabus, and both the Engineering and the Agriculture and Pharmacy papers include 40 physics questions out of 160, one mark each, no negative marking, three hours in all. Subjects appear as sections on screen and students can switch between them, so the order of attack is something to practise. To be ranked, a candidate needs 25% of the maximum after normalisation, with no minimum for SC and ST candidates.

CBSE Class 12 physics is a 70-mark, three-hour paper with a 30-mark practical. ISC, IB SL and HL, and IGCSE physics families ask by course and level. JEE Main gives physics 25 questions with negative marking; NEET gives 45. So a Hyderabad physics tutor may see a BiPC student who needs NEET accuracy and an MPC student who needs EAPCET speed in the same week.

Where in Hyderabad the work is

Kukatpally, Miyapur and Nizampet sit on the Red Line, so many homes there are a short walk or auto from a station, and a tutor on the line can cover the whole stretch; Nizampet and Bachupally need an auto along busy roads, and the highway and Miyapur X Roads are heavy in the evening. The Blue Line runs east from HITEC City and Raidurg through Ameerpet and Tarnaka to Uppal and Nagole, which makes cross-city physics work realistic for a tutor without a car.

Some zones still depend on the road. Mehdipatnam, Tolichowki and Attapur have no metro, and Attapur addresses are often given by the pillar number of the elevated expressway. Manikonda, Narsingi and Kokapet towers register every visitor and may call up for approval. For students there, a weekend home lesson for derivations and numericals plus a weekday online session works well.

Timing matters as much as distance. Junior college days are long, and traffic near the Outer Ring Road junctions builds as offices close in the Gachibowli, Kondapur and Madhapur belt, while Uppal X Roads and the Warangal highway are heavy at office hours on the eastern side. Physics students who also attend coaching often have only a late-evening or weekend window. A tutor who can arrive by metro after the evening peak, or switch that week's session online, keeps the plan intact. In Secunderabad, Marredpally and Tarnaka, Parade Ground is the easy arrival point, and in Tarnaka and Malkajgiri it helps to ask for the colony name with a map pin.

What families in Hyderabad expect

  • State your courses: Inter MPC or BiPC physics, TG EAPCET, CBSE 11–12, ISC, IB, IGCSE, JEE or NEET.
  • Coach the first-year Intermediate practical, now an external 15-mark component under the revised scheme.
  • Teach derivations from diagrams and numericals with units, then convert the same chapter into one-mark EAPCET questions.
  • Train students to move between sections and leave nothing blank, since EAPCET has no negative marking.
  • For JEE and NEET students, add negative-marking discipline and honest mock review.
  • Fit around junior college and coaching hours with a fixed weekly slot.
  • Read the current TGBIE scheme and the EAPCET notification before each academic year.

How to get picked

Families comparing physics tutors in Hyderabad want proof that you know both the board and the entrance their child faces. Put both in your headline, for example "Inter MPC physics with TG EAPCET" or "CBSE Class 12 and NEET physics". Mention the line or station you live near and the zones you can reach after college. Tutors who also teach online can serve Kokapet and Tellapur, where journeys are long.

Use the demo to show diagnosis. Ask for a recent test, sort lost marks into concept, units, diagram and time, and then try a quick ten-question timed set in EAPCET style. Explain how you would split each week between written board answers and objective practice. Leads, credits and how you get paid are covered in the sections below.

Joining, leads and pay

Joining is free

Applying, onboarding, building your profile, the ID check and receiving matched requests on the Free plan cost nothing. The Free plan gives you 160 lead credits every month.

Paid plans are optional

Pro, Premium and Featured are optional platform subscriptions: more visibility, AI tools and more lead credits. They are never a fee to apply for a tuition. See tutor plans.

How leads and credits work

A family request that fits your subjects, classes, board, areas and hours reaches your dashboard. Opening the family's contact details uses lead credits, and the credit price is shown on the request before you open it. At most 5 tutors can open one request, and a request stays open for 7 days. Credit packs are there if you need more.

How you get paid

You set your own fee. When a family pays for classes through NXTutors, you receive 50% of the fee for home tuition in the first month and the full fee after that, and 70% of the fee for online tuition every month. Payments are held for 7 days, then paid out weekly. How you get paid.

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.

Questions from tutors

What changed in first-year Inter physics?

From 2026-27, the TGBIE circular gives first-year Physics revised textbooks, a 60-mark theory paper and a 15-mark external practical. Second-year rules follow the board's scheme for that batch.

How many physics questions are in TG EAPCET?

Forty out of 160 in both the Engineering and the Agriculture and Pharmacy streams, one mark each with no negative marking. Read the current notification on the official site.

Can a CBSE physics tutor teach Inter students?

Often, after checking the TGBIE textbooks and model papers. The board's question style and practical scheme differ, so practise them before taking an Intermediate student.

Which Hyderabad zones are hardest to reach for physics lessons?

Those without a metro: Manikonda, Narsingi and Kokapet, Sainikpuri and Alwal, and Mehdipatnam and Tolichowki. List them only if you live nearby or can travel there regularly.

Are there IB physics students in Hyderabad?

Yes, at international schools. They ask for SL or HL by name and need help with data analysis and the internal assessment method, which you guide but never write.
