Now taking on home, online and hybrid tutors · in Hyderabad
Hyderabad's entrance students rarely prepare for one test. An MPC student may sit JEE Main, TG EAPCET's Engineering stream and the Intermediate board in the same months; a BiPC student may face NEET, the EAPCET Agriculture and Pharmacy stream and the board. The papers share chapters but punish different habits: NEET and JEE deduct marks for wrong answers, EAPCET does not. Families want a subject tutor who can switch between those modes without confusing the student.
No open jee and neet requests in Hyderabad right now. New family requests appear here as they come in; join now so they can reach you.
If you teach entrance-level maths, physics, chemistry or biology, joining NXTutors is free. You set your fee, choose your zones and decide on home, online or both. This page explains the three exams as the official documents describe them, how Hyderabad's travel shapes the work and how to be picked.
TG EAPCET, as the 2026 notification and instruction booklets describe it, is a three-hour computer-based test of 160 one-mark multiple-choice questions with no negative marking. The Engineering stream has Mathematics 80, Physics 40 and Chemistry 40; the Agriculture and Pharmacy stream has Biology 80, split Botany 40 and Zoology 40, with Physics and Chemistry at 40 each. Students can move freely between subject sections on screen, the paper is shown in English with Telugu or English with Urdu, and its syllabus is framed to match the TGBIE Intermediate syllabus. To be ranked, a candidate needs 25% of the maximum after normalisation, with no minimum for SC and ST candidates.
JEE Main Paper 1, in NTA's 2026 bulletin, had 25 questions in each of maths, physics and chemistry, four marks for a correct answer and one deducted for a wrong one, over two sessions with the better score counting; and only the 2,50,000 highest-ranked could then sit JEE Advanced. NEET (UG) 2026 was a single pen-and-paper sitting of 180 questions, 90 biology and 45 each in physics and chemistry, for 720 marks, marked the same way. A tutor teaches the chapter once, then practises it three ways.
Most families already use coaching, so requests usually ask for one subject, doubt clearing, mock review and board protection. In the EAPCET Engineering paper half the marks are maths, so maths speed is a frequent request; for BiPC students, biology recall and Botany and Zoology balance come up most.
Coaching timetables and junior college hours leave narrow windows, so a tutor whose journey is short and repeatable is preferred. The Red Line from Miyapur through Kukatpally to LB Nagar and the Blue Line from Raidurg through Ameerpet to Nagole let a tutor reach many colonies without a car, and the MMTS serves Lingampalli, Hafizpet, Secunderabad and Malkajgiri. A physics tutor near Ameerpet can serve the Red and Blue Lines alike.
Without a station, plan carefully. Manikonda, Narsingi and Kokapet are reached via the ORR or Khajaguda Main Road, and very tall towers there may call up for approval. Sainikpuri, Alwal and Trimulgherry depend on two-wheelers or the MMTS. For these families, a weekend home session for problem-solving and weekday online doubt slots after coaching usually keeps everyone's week manageable.
Junction timing matters as much as the line. Traffic near the Outer Ring Road junctions builds as offices close around HITEC City, Uppal X Roads and the Warangal highway are heavy at office hours, and Dilsukhnagar and Kothapet slow down in the evening peak. Entrance students who leave coaching late are often better served by a 40-minute online doubt slot that evening and a longer home session on the weekend.
Write your profile around the student's real week: "JEE and EAPCET maths, Inter MPC, Blue Line Ameerpet to Uppal, online after coaching". Families in Hyderabad know the exams well and will notice whether you do too, so mention the marking difference and the bilingual EAPCET screen if you can explain terms in Telugu or Urdu.
In the demo, run a short timed set, perhaps ten questions in about twelve minutes, then review the slowest answers as well as the wrong ones. Ask what the coaching sheet covered and show where your session fits. Leave the parent with a month plan that names the board paper as well as the entrance tests. Leads, credits and how you get paid appear below.
Applying, onboarding, building your profile, the ID check and receiving matched requests on the Free plan cost nothing. The Free plan gives you 160 lead credits every month.
Pro, Premium and Featured are optional platform subscriptions: more visibility, AI tools and more lead credits. They are never a fee to apply for a tuition. See tutor plans.
A family request that fits your subjects, classes, board, areas and hours reaches your dashboard. Opening the family's contact details uses lead credits, and the credit price is shown on the request before you open it. At most 5 tutors can open one request, and a request stays open for 7 days. Credit packs are there if you need more.
You set your own fee. When a family pays for classes through NXTutors, you receive 50% of the fee for home tuition in the first month and the full fee after that, and 70% of the fee for online tuition every month. Payments are held for 7 days, then paid out weekly. How you get paid.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
EAPCET has 160 one-mark questions in three hours with no negative marking and a syllabus matching Intermediate. JEE Main gives four marks per correct answer and deducts one per wrong answer. Students need different habits for each.
Many do. The Agriculture and Pharmacy stream covers agriculture, horticulture, veterinary, fisheries, pharmacy and allied courses, with biology 80 of 160 questions.
No. The paper shows English with Telugu or English with Urdu, and the English version is final. Being able to explain terms in Telugu or Urdu helps some students, so mention it if you can.
They can be eligible through the equivalent-examination route, but local and non-local status rules decide much. Families should read the current notification; tutors should not advise on eligibility beyond pointing them there.
Red and Blue Line neighbourhoods from Miyapur to LB Nagar and Raidurg to Nagole, plus MMTS stations. Kokapet, Manikonda and Sainikpuri depend on roads.
Usually support. Families want doubt clearing, mock review and board protection in one subject. Ask for the coaching timetable and fit around it.
