What home tuition costs in Hyderabad

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.

Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

NEET home tutor in Hyderabad: BiPC to NCERT, physics in person, biology on a steady cycle

Hyderabad's medical aspirants mostly come through one of three doors: the BiPC group in Intermediate, CBSE science with biology, or ISC. Each leaves a slightly different gap between what school teaches and what NEET asks, and each runs into the same practical problem: three subjects, a coaching timetable and a city where a tutor's journey can take longer than the lesson. This page explains how Hyderabad families tend to set up NEET tuition so it survives a busy year: what goes online, what stays at the table, how the rail lines shape the choice of tutor, and what a plan looks like in each year. The exam itself and the NCERT-first method are covered on our national NEET home tutor guide.

The exam in brief

The NTA ran NEET (UG) 2026 on paper, in one afternoon shift of three hours. Every one of its 180 multiple-choice questions was compulsory: biology (botany and zoology) supplied 90, physics and chemistry 45 each, for a total of 720 marks, with a mark deducted for each wrong answer. Test booklets came in 13 languages. The syllabus, notified by the National Medical Commission, had ten biology units. Check the current bulletin on neet.nta.nic.in before relying on any of these details.

BiPC, CBSE and ISC: what each student needs from a tutor

The school-to-NEET gap by system
SystemTypical gapWeekly habit the tutor builds
Intermediate BiPC (Telangana state board)State textbooks and written board answers; NEET follows NCERT wording and figuresNCERT chapter read beside the state chapter, differences listed, recall tested from the NCERT text
CBSELittle syllabus gap; the challenge is recall precision and speedTimed chapter MCQs after each recall check
ISCDifferent books and sequencing; long-form answers at schoolFixed NCERT reading slots every week across the year

Whichever system, the 2026 bulletin required Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology, and English in the qualifying examination. For BiPC students, take board details only from the board's official website. School-side help is on our Hyderabad biology, physics and chemistry home tutor pages.

Rail access decides who can come to you

The physics or chemistry tutor is the one who travels, so the question is how easily a specialist can reach your home on a weekday. Hyderabad's zones fall into three groups.

On a metro line

Kukatpally, Miyapur and Nizampet (Red Line; Nizampet is an auto ride from it), Ameerpet, Begumpet and Punjagutta (the interchange), Khairatabad, Himayatnagar and Abids, Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills and Somajiguda, Secunderabad, Marredpally and Tarnaka, Uppal, Habsiguda and Nacharam (Blue Line; Boduppal via Uppal or Nagole and an auto) and Dilsukhnagar, LB Nagar and Vanasthalipuram (Red Line; Kothapet from Chaitanyapuri). A physics specialist living anywhere on the network can reach these homes by train, so two weekday visits are realistic.

Near the line, but not on it

Gachibowli, Kondapur and Madhapur: Madhapur has Blue Line stations, while Gachibowli and Kondapur need a cab or auto from HITEC City or Raidurg. Chandanagar, Lingampally and Tellapur relies on the MMTS, and Sainikpuri, Alwal and Trimulgherry on the Bolarum route and two-wheelers; in Trimulgherry colony gates near defence areas may check visitors. Plan one home session at a calm hour and keep the rest online.

Road only, for now

Manikonda, Narsingi and Kokapet and Mehdipatnam, Tolichowki and Attapur have no metro station. In the spread-out colonies of Rajendranagar, for example, send an exact map pin and expect the strongest physics tutor to offer a weekend home session plus online classes rather than weekday visits.

Every neighbourhood we cover is on the Hyderabad home tuition page.

Shaping a NEET week around coaching

An illustrative week for a second-year BiPC student with coaching four evenings
SlotWhat happens
Daily, 45 minutesNCERT biology reading on the current revision cycle
Two coaching eveningsOnline biology recall check, 30 minutes: processes written from memory, diagrams labelled blank
Free afternoonPhysics at home, 90 minutes: stuck coaching problems, one concept rebuilt, timed questions
Another coaching eveningOnline inorganic chemistry check, 25 minutes
Saturday, 2 pm to 5 pmFull mock on paper
Sunday morningMock review with the tutor, at home or online

The pattern keeps the physics tutor's journey to one calm afternoon and puts the frequent, short work online, where Hyderabad's evening traffic cannot touch it. As a rule of thumb, biology recall works online almost everywhere, because the tutor only needs to hear and see what the student writes from memory. Physics is the subject most worth a journey, since a tutor sitting beside the student spots a wrong first step at once. Chemistry sits in between: physical chemistry numericals at the table, inorganic and organic recall online. Families who follow that split usually find a stronger physics tutor willing to travel, because the tutor comes once a week instead of three times. The NEET physics tutor and NEET chemistry tutor pages explain each subject's sessions.

First year, second year and a repeat year

  • First-year Intermediate or Class 11. Half the biology units are first-year content. Start closed-book recall from the first chapter, keep the NCERT-versus-school list current, and secure mechanics in physics. Two or three sessions a week across subjects is typical.
  • Second-year Intermediate or Class 12. New chapters, first-year revision, board exams and the mocks all at once. Put first-year biology on a monthly revision cycle so it is not left for the end, and switch to board-style written answers for a few weeks before the board papers.
  • Repeat year. The 2026 bulletin set a minimum age of 17 and no upper limit; confirm eligibility in the current one. Begin with last year's mocks: which subject lost the most, and was it knowledge, speed or guessing? Weekday daytime home sessions are easier to arrange, since roads are quieter.

Our guides to NEET biology from NCERT and high-yield NEET physics chapters help set priorities.

Paper mocks at home

Since the 2026 exam was a pen-and-paper afternoon sitting, practise the same way: print the paper, sit it from two to five with a separate answer sheet and no phone, then score plus four and minus one. Record three numbers per subject: wrong answers, blanks and minutes spent. Over a month they show whether the next block of tutor time should go on content, speed or the discipline of leaving a doubtful question alone. That matters doubly in NEET, where the bulletin's tie-break looks at the ratio of wrong to right answers after the subject marks.

Common Hyderabad NEET situations

Situations we often hear about, and the set-up that tends to help
SituationSet-up that tends to help
BiPC student, comfortable with the state biology book but slipping in NEET-style biology questionsTwo short online recall sessions a week built on NCERT lines, figures and tables; an updated list of NCERT content the state book does not carry
In coaching, physics marks low, family in a tower beyond the metroA physics specialist on Saturday morning at home, plus an online slot after one coaching evening
CBSE student, scores flat across all three subjectsMock analysis first; book the tutor for whichever subject the analysis points to, not all three
ISC student starting Class 11NCERT reading built into the week from the first month, with a chapter map against the school's term plan
Preparing without coachingSeparate subject tutors, a written chapter calendar drawn from the NMC syllabus, and weekly paper mocks arranged by the family
Repeat year, free on weekdaysDaytime home sessions while the roads are calm; afternoon mocks at exam hours

Families weighing coaching against a tutor-only route can read our comparison of NEET coaching and a home tutor. It was written for Gurugram, but the questions it asks, about who sets the pace, who runs the tests and what the journey costs in hours, apply in Hyderabad just as much. Most families end up with coaching for the structure and a tutor for the one subject where coaching is not turning into marks.

What to look for at the demo

  • A biology tutor who tests a chapter your child has just read, from memory, and finds the gaps fast.
  • A physics tutor who asks what the student tried before showing anything.
  • A clear answer on how a BiPC or ISC student will cover the NCERT lines their school book lacks.
  • A plan for using every mock, and a rule for doubtful questions.
  • Honest travel details: which line or road, which day, and the online fallback.

If the demo does not convince you, we set up the next one, and switching later is free. Tutors who join go through an ID check; browse tutor profiles any time.

NEET tutor fees in Hyderabad and how to start

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own rates, shown before the demo. Short online biology checks cost less than home visits, so a mixed plan often keeps the monthly total down. The Hyderabad fees guide and our pricing guide give more detail.

Tell us the class, board or Intermediate group, the subjects that need help, coaching days and your colony. We send two or three matched tutors, and you book a free demo class. MPC students can see our JEE home tutor in Hyderabad page, and teachers can find requests on Hyderabad tuition jobs.

NEET Home Tutor in Hyderabad: common questions

What is the hourly fee for a NEET home tutor in Hyderabad?

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. NEET tutors in Hyderabad set their own rates, shown before the demo. Short online biology checks cost less than home visits, so a mixed plan often keeps the monthly total down.

How do I find NEET tutors for my child in Hyderabad?

To find NEET tutors in Hyderabad, tell us the class, board or Intermediate group, the subjects that need help, coaching days and your colony. We send two or three matched tutors, each fee shown before the first class. The first class is a free demo, and switching tutor later is free.

Can a BiPC student in Hyderabad prepare for NEET with a home tutor?

Yes, a BiPC student in Hyderabad can prepare for NEET with a home tutor who reads NCERT biology and chemistry beside the state textbooks. NEET follows the NMC syllabus and NCERT wording, so the tutor lists the differences and tests recall from the NCERT text every week. Take board details only from the board's official website.

Do NEET tutors travel to Kokapet, Narsingi or Attapur in Hyderabad?

Some NEET tutors travel to Kokapet, Narsingi or Attapur in Hyderabad, but these zones have no metro station, so weekday visits depend on a tutor nearby. Many families there take one weekend home physics session and keep biology recall and doubt sessions online. That lets them choose a specialist rather than the nearest tutor.

Which NEET subject is most worth a home visit in Hyderabad?

Physics is usually the NEET subject most worth a home visit in Hyderabad, because a tutor at the table spots a wrong first step in a numerical at once. Biology recall checks work well online, since the tutor only needs to see what the student writes from memory. Chemistry splits between home numericals and online recall.

How can NEET tuition fit around coaching in Hyderabad?

NEET tuition fits around coaching in Hyderabad when short online biology or chemistry checks go on coaching evenings and the physics session on a free afternoon. Sunday mornings suit mock review. That keeps the tutor's journey away from evening office traffic; share your coaching days so we shortlist tutors whose week fits.

Which subjects must a Hyderabad NEET aspirant keep in the qualifying exam?

A Hyderabad NEET aspirant must keep Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology, and English in the qualifying examination, as the 2026 NTA bulletin required. BiPC, CBSE science with biology and ISC science with biology all need those four through Class 12. Check the current bulletin, because rules are set each year.

How is NEET UG marked for Hyderabad candidates?

For Hyderabad candidates, NEET (UG) 2026 was a three-hour pen-and-paper test of 180 compulsory multiple-choice questions for 720 marks. Biology supplied 90 questions, physics and chemistry 45 each, with four marks for a right answer and one deducted for a wrong one. Check the current bulletin on neet.nta.nic.in before relying on these details.

How should a Hyderabad NEET student practise mocks at home?

A Hyderabad NEET student should practise paper mocks at home in exam conditions: printed paper, separate answer sheet, no phone, afternoon timing. Score plus four and minus one, and record wrong answers, blanks and minutes per subject. Over a month these show whether tutor time should go on content, speed or leaving doubtful questions alone.

What should I test in a free NEET demo with a Hyderabad tutor?

In a free NEET demo with a Hyderabad tutor, ask the biology tutor to test a chapter your child has just read, without the book. Bring two stuck physics questions for the physics tutor and see whether they ask what was tried first. Ask how a BiPC or ISC student will cover the NCERT lines their book lacks.
