You tell us the class, board, subject and where in Ameerpet, Begumpet & Punjagutta you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Where AI stops and people start
Ameerpet, bordered by Balkampet and Sanath Nagar, has older independent houses, apartment buildings, some gated complexes and many hostels and paying-guest homes for students and young professionals. Begumpet, once a small suburb between Hyderabad and Secunderabad, ranges from independent houses to apartment buildings, with Rasoolpura and Bowenpally nearby and a flyover linking it to Punjagutta. Punjagutta has offices and large shops on its main road, and behind them residential pockets such as Dwarakapuri hold apartments and some independent houses, generally quieter than the commercial frontage.
For a tutor, few places in Hyderabad are easier to reach. Ameerpet is where the Red and Blue Lines cross, Begumpet adds three Blue Line stops of its own and an MMTS platform beside the metro, and Punjagutta is one Red Line stop from Ameerpet. A tutor living on almost any stretch of either line can arrive by train and finish on foot or by auto. The catch is road traffic: the Ameerpet main road, the Begumpet flyovers and the Punjagutta junction are crowded at peak hours, so aim for a lesson that avoids the evening peak rather than sitting inside it.
Rail links widen the pool of tutors who can realistically come here, and NXTutors still lists them nearest first: those living in Ameerpet, Begumpet or Punjagutta, then tutors who already travel into the zone, then the wider city, then online. Two or three matches reach you for your child's class, board and subject, with each fee visible before you book. The first lesson is a free demo, and changing tutor later is free. In a zone full of hostels and shared buildings, add the floor and a landmark to your request so the first visit starts on time.

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.
| Classes a week | Classes a month | At ₹800 an hour | At ₹2,500 an hour |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 | 8 | ₹6,400 a month | ₹20,000 a month |
| 3 | 12 | ₹9,600 a month | ₹30,000 a month |
In a coaching batch, one teacher's hour is shared by many students, so each family pays for a part of it. At home the whole hour is your child's: the pace, the questions and the homework check follow one student, and the tutor's travel to your home is part of the working day. A small group of two or three children from the same society usually costs less per child, with less individual attention.
Open your sector or society for the tutors nearest to it.

The Red and Blue Lines cross there, so tutors living near either line, from the north-western suburbs to the eastern end, can arrive without switching to a bus. From the platforms, most colony lanes are a brief walk or auto hop away, even in the evening.
Unusually well. Three Blue Line stations, Rasoolpura, Prakash Nagar and Begumpet itself, serve the area, and the MMTS station on the Lingampalli routes stands beside the Begumpet metro stop, so tutors can use either network and finish by auto. Begumpet Airport no longer runs regular passenger flights but still handles training and charter flying.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, you see it before the demo, and we do not suggest tutors above your budget.
Generally yes. Pockets such as Dwarakapuri lie away from the shopfronts, calmer than the main road and a short walk or auto from Punjagutta station, open on the Red Line since September 2018 and one stop from the Ameerpet interchange. Apartment buildings register visitors, while houses allow a doorstep arrival.
