How do you find a female tutor near your home?

Type the request in the home page search as you would say it, adding female, lady or madam: lady science tutor Class 7 state board, say. Enter your locality, for example Kondapur or Malkajgiri, under Location and keep Home tutor selected. Only tutors who have marked themselves female on their profile are shown, closest to you at the top.

The filter page does the same job. An empty page usually means the board or the fee cap is too narrow, so loosen those before anything else.

• Put the long session at the weekend, when traffic is lighter.

How should you prepare your tower or colony for her first visit?

Entry differs a great deal across the city: a visitor app and a call from security in a western tower, a gate register in a gated colony, a simple doorbell in an older house, and checks at colony gates near defence areas in the north. A little preparation means the demo starts on time:

• Give security or the watchman her name and number ahead of time.
• Send the tower and flat, or colony and house number, a map pin and a landmark; on the numbered roads of Banjara or Jubilee Hills, the road number as well.
• Once the timetable is agreed, add her as a regular visitor.
• Hold lessons in a shared space such as the living room, door open.
