Now taking on home, online and hybrid tutors · in Aundh, Baner & Pashan, Pune
If you live in Baner, Aundh, Bavdhan or Pashan, this is probably the zone where your home-tuition week should start. Families here depend on tutors who ride in from the next suburb, because there was no working metro station in the zone at the time our guides were written, and a short two-wheeler ride is what keeps a weekly slot alive through office traffic and the monsoon.
No open home-tuition requests in Aundh, Baner & Pashan right now. New family requests appear here as they come in; add Aundh, Baner & Pashan to your travel areas so they can reach you.
The zone lines the Katraj–Dehu Road bypass on Pune's western edge: Aundh, Baner, Balewadi, Pashan, Sus and Bavdhan. Aundh has apartment buildings, gated societies, independent houses and villas along Ganeshkhind Road up to the bridge over the Mula. Baner mixes large offices with high-rise complexes below Baner Hill, and Balewadi, next to Mahalunge, is mostly towers around its High Street and a large sports complex. Pashan keeps apartment buildings beside government and research campuses, Sus lies in a valley between hills, and Bavdhan combines societies with older houses near Chandani Chowk. Joining NXTutors is free.
This is a road zone for now. Metro Line 3, from Maan near Hinjewadi towards Shivajinagar, is under construction with stations planned at Balewadi High Street, Balewadi Phata, Baner Gaon, Baner Pashan Link Road and Aundh, and the Aqua Line's extension towards Chandani Chowk is also being built, but neither was carrying passengers at the time of the research. Tutors therefore come by two-wheeler, and the shortest rides win: Baner tutors for Balewadi, Pashan, Baner or Bavdhan tutors for Sus, and Baner, Wakad or Aundh tutors for Balewadi. For Bavdhan, the nearest working metro is Vanaz on the Aqua Line, with an auto for the rest; Chandani Chowk, where several major roads meet, slows down at peak hours. Sus is reached along the Pashan–Sus Road with the bypass close by.
With so many gated societies and high-rise complexes, this zone has a large number of families with school-age children, and requests reflect the city's mix: State Board SSC and HSC, CBSE, ICSE and ISC, and some IB and IGCSE students. Because travel into the zone is slow, a tutor who lives in Aundh or Baner and can cover two or three subjects for one family, such as maths and science for a Class 8 student, often keeps the slot better than two separate specialists from across the city. Senior students who need a narrow specialist sometimes split the week: one home lesson with a local tutor and an online session with a subject expert.
Almost every home here is in a gated society, and most want the tutor's name, tower and flat a day ahead. Ask the parent to send those details to the gate before the demo, and to register you as a regular visitor once lessons are fixed. Sus societies in particular usually want details before the first class. Larger complexes in Balewadi and Baner can be spread out, so ask for the tower and the nearest gate, and check where visitors may park a two-wheeler.
Baner Road and University Road fill up as offices close, so later-evening or weekend lessons are common and easier to hold week after week. A tutor coming from Baner to Sus or Balewadi can manage an early-evening slot because the ride is short. During the June to September rains, keep an online fallback agreed with the family; when the Diwali break and preliminary exams arrive in October to December, expect requests for extra weekend sessions.
A useful pattern for tutors based in Baner or Aundh is to group lessons by direction: two homes in Balewadi and Baner on one evening, Pashan and Sus on another, so the ride between students stays short. Weekend mornings are quieter on the main roads and suit longer lessons for senior students, such as a full past paper with review.

A family request that fits your subjects, classes, board, areas and hours reaches your dashboard. Opening the family's contact details uses lead credits, and the credit price is shown on the request before you open it. At most 5 tutors can open one request, and a request stays open for 7 days. Credit packs are there if you need more.
You set your own fee. When a family pays for classes through NXTutors, you receive 50% of the fee for home tuition in the first month and the full fee after that, and 70% of the fee for online tuition every month. Payments are held for 7 days, then paid out weekly. How you get paid.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
Not at the time of our research. Metro Line 3 is under construction with stations planned in Balewadi, Baner and Aundh; until it opens, tutors come by road.
Pashan, Baner, Bavdhan or Balewadi. Sus is reached along the Pashan–Sus Road, and its societies want your details before the first class.
Ask the family before the demo. Large complexes often have a visitor area or a set place for two-wheelers, and some limit it; knowing in advance saves a wait at the gate.
At peak hours, yes. Tutors from Kothrud or Pashan often come by two-wheeler; Vanaz is the nearest working metro stop, with an auto for the rest.
Later evenings after Baner Road and University Road clear, or weekends. Tutors living inside the zone can take earlier slots.
Yes. Choose both modes on your profile. Many families accept one home visit plus an online session when office traffic is heavy.
