Hinjewadi, with Marunji and Maan beside it, grew around a large IT park built in three phases and is ringed by apartment townships. Wakad is mostly gated societies, and Pimple Saudagar and Pimple Nilakh, across the Mula from Baner and Aundh, are society neighbourhoods popular with young families. Pimpri has factories, markets and homes close together, Chinchwad on the Pavana river runs from its village core to large townships, and Nigdi holds the numbered Pradhikaran sectors of independent houses, row houses and apartment complexes. Roads around the IT park are very busy in the morning and evening peaks, so early-evening or weekend slots timed against the rush suit Hinjewadi and Wakad most. Many families here keep one home visit a week and move another lesson online on heavy office days, with the same tutor. In Nigdi and Pimpri, early after-school slots are easier because tutors living nearby arrive without crossing the IT corridor. Agree a rain rule in June for the monsoon months.
