Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) Home Tuition Guide: Five Zones, Twenty Localities
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) is easiest to understand as five parts: the planned CIDCO and HUDCO township in the east along Jalna Road, the old central core around Aurangpura and the bus stand, the residential belt of Garkheda and Jyoti Nagar to the south of the centre, the newer homes along the Beed Bypass and Paithan Road, and the western side towards Waluj.
Below are all five zones and their twenty localities: the homes, what to tell a tutor and which hours need care. For the money side, see home tuition fees in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad).
Three details every tutor needs, whatever the zone
- A landmark they will recognise. A chowk, bus stand or main road beats a shop name.
- The entry routine. A watchman, a gate register, or straight to the door.
- Where to leave a vehicle. Most tutors ride a two-wheeler or take an auto or city bus, so a safe spot for a two-wheeler matters most.
CIDCO & Jalna Road
The eastern side grew from the 1970s as New Aurangabad, a planned township with neighbourhoods numbered N-1 to N-15; HUDCO next door runs from H-1 to H-20. Jalna Road runs along the township, and the CIDCO bus stand is one of the city's two main bus hubs. See the CIDCO & Jalna Road zone page.
| Locality | Homes you will find | Tell the tutor |
|---|---|---|
| CIDCO | Independent houses on numbered plots and low- to mid-rise apartment buildings | The N-sector, the house or building name, and whether visitors sign in |
| HUDCO | Mostly independent homes, with small shops on internal roads | The H-part number, the house number and a nearby landmark |
| Chikalthana | Newer apartments, low-rise flats and small villas beside the MIDC area and the airport | The flat number, left with the gate before the demo |
| Jalna Road | Apartments and older houses just off the main road | Which side of the road you are on and the nearest chowk |
Timing: Jalna Road is busiest on weekday evenings, and around Chikalthana the office and factory shift times add to it. End the class before the rush or start after it.
Old City & Central
The old city was a set of walled suburbs called puras, and its bazaars, Gulmandi among them, were named after the goods sold there. Today it is the busy centre, with the Central Bus Stand close to Samarth Nagar and the railway station not far from Osmanpura. See the Old City & Central zone page.
| Locality | Homes you will find | Tell the tutor |
|---|---|---|
| Aurangpura | Apartments and older family houses on narrow lanes | The nearest chowk, and where a two-wheeler can stand |
| Samarth Nagar | Family houses, apartment buildings and a few large older bungalows | The building name and floor, or the house number |
| Begumpura | Older family houses on lanes that look alike, and small apartment buildings | A clear landmark plus the house or building name |
| Osmanpura | Mostly flats in multistorey buildings, with older independent houses | The flat number and building name for the entrance |
Timing: the market roads and the streets around the bus stand fill up as the evening goes on. Agree a fixed hour early; two-wheelers park far more easily than cars.
Garkheda & Jyoti Nagar
South of the centre lies a mostly residential belt of flats and quieter streets. Garkheda takes in Garkheda Parisar and several smaller nagars around Sutgirni Chowk, Ulkanagari sits near the city's sports complex and stadium, and Vedant Nagar is on the railway station side. See the Garkheda & Jyoti Nagar zone page.
| Locality | Homes you will find | Tell the tutor |
|---|---|---|
| Garkheda | Mostly apartment flats, with independent houses in the older colonies | Sutgirni Chowk or Deolai Chowk as a landmark, and the flat number for the watchman |
| Ulkanagari | Multistorey apartments and some low-rise builder floors | The floor, since some older buildings have no lift |
| Jyoti Nagar | Apartment flats, with independent houses on older streets | The building name and flat number before the first class |
| Vedant Nagar | Builder floor apartments and small residential buildings on wide internal roads | The house number, floor and a landmark |
Timing: traffic gathers at the main chowks and on the roads towards Osmanpura and the Beed Bypass in the evening, so book a slot that sits clear of that build-up.
Beed Bypass & Paithan Road
The Beed Bypass road links the Paithan Road side with the highway towards Beed. Much of the housing in this southern zone is newer than in the centre, and some layouts are gated. See the Beed Bypass & Paithan Road zone page.
| Locality | Homes you will find | Tell the tutor |
|---|---|---|
| Beed Bypass | Apartments, independent floors, villas and plotted layouts along the road | Which side of the bypass, the turning and the colony name |
| Satara Parisar | Recent apartment buildings, builder floors and plotted layouts with houses | The layout or building name and the turning from the bypass; a map pin helps |
| Deolai | Mostly independent houses and residential plots, with some newer flats | Deolai Chowk, the colony name and the house number |
| Kanchanwadi | Flats in buildings of up to seven floors, and houses | The building name and flat number for the gate |
| Itkheda | Mostly mid-rise apartments with lifts, parking and security | The building, wing and flat number for the security desk |
Timing: the bypass carries through traffic and Paithan Road carries heavy vehicles, so time classes away from the evening peak. Tutors living in Kanchanwadi, Deolai or Satara Parisar are the most practical for a steady weekly slot.
West & Waluj
The western side is shaped by the Waluj industrial area. CIDCO Waluj Mahanagar was planned as a ring township of separate nagars around the industrial core; Padegaon lies closer to the city, near the cantonment. See the West & Waluj zone page.
| Locality | Homes you will find | Tell the tutor |
|---|---|---|
| Padegaon | Apartment buildings, plotted layouts and independent houses, many built recently | The layout name and the turning from the main road |
| Bajaj Nagar | Mostly independent houses with some small apartment buildings | The house number and nearest landmark |
| CIDCO Waluj Mahanagar | Apartments, gated plotted layouts and row houses | The nagar or sector, the layout name and a ring-road landmark |
Timing: the highway into the city is busiest at shift change and office times, so a tutor who already lives in Waluj, Bajaj Nagar or Padegaon is usually the one who can keep coming all year.
Boards your tutor should know

When an online class makes more sense
When the right specialist for physics, chemistry or a higher class lives on the far side of the city, an online class keeps the specialist and drops the trip. Our online tutors for Aurangabad students page explains the set-up, and the comparison of home and online tutors helps decide subject by subject.

Frequently asked questions
Which parts of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar does NXTutors cover?
Requests can come from any locality. This guide groups twenty of them into five zones: CIDCO and Jalna Road, the old city and centre, Garkheda and Jyoti Nagar, the Beed Bypass and Paithan Road, and the western side towards Waluj. We look for tutors nearest to you first, then widen to your zone and online.
Can a tutor from CIDCO teach my child in Satara Parisar?
They can, but crossing the city twice a week through evening traffic is hard to keep up all year. For a regular home slot in Satara Parisar, a tutor living in Kanchanwadi, Deolai or the Beed Bypass belt is more practical. A specialist who lives further away can teach online instead.
What should we share before the first visit in HUDCO or Waluj?
In HUDCO, give the H-part number, the house number and a nearby landmark, since many lanes look alike. In CIDCO Waluj Mahanagar, share the nagar or sector, the layout name and the nearest ring-road landmark, and register the tutor at the entrance if your layout keeps a visitor book.
Do tutors in the city teach in Marathi as well as English?
If your child follows explanations more easily in Marathi, English or a mix, especially in State Board subjects, put that in the request so the tutors we suggest can confirm it, and check it during the free demo by asking the tutor to explain one topic the way your child finds easiest.
How many tutors will NXTutors suggest, and what does the demo cost?
We suggest two or three matched tutors for each request, and the first class with each one is a free demo. You see every tutor's fee before that demo, so you can compare teaching and terms side by side. If the tutor you choose stops being the right fit later, switching is free.
