Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

You can. Share your society, tower, your child's class, board and subject with NXTutors, and we put two or three matched tutors in front of you: people who travel to Sector 2, Greater Noida West from nearby sectors, or who teach online. Each one's fee is listed before you pick, the opening class is a free demo, and swapping to another tutor later is free.
Sector 2 is the newer, still-growing side of the belt around Patwari village, where finished societies stand beside towers that are still being built. That mix shapes how tutors find you, when sessions work, and what to sort out before the first visit. This page goes through each of those, then boards, classes, exams and fees.
| Topic | Sector 2, Greater Noida West |
|---|---|
| Where it is | A numbered sector of Greater Noida West (the Noida Extension belt) under the Greater Noida authority; not Sector 2 in Noida |
| Village beside it | Patwari, one of the original villages of the belt |
| Societies listed here | Eros Sampoornam, Nirala Greenshire, Nirala World Splendora; Eros Sampoornam III is under construction |
| Other housing | Plotted land (for example Rakmo Krishna Kunj) and small one-bedroom units such as Airwil Thinkpad |
| Main roads | Greater Noida West Link Road and Bisrakh Road, with access towards NH-24 |
| Metro | None in the sector; tutors using the metro come via Noida Sector 51 (Aqua Line) and finish by road |
| Next-door sectors | Sector 3 and Sector 1, with Techzone 4 a short ride away |
| Planning tip | Share a map pin and the right gate; approach roads near newer towers can change while building continues |
Sector 2 is still filling in. Property portals list ready societies such as Eros Sampoornam, whose plot is GH-01 in Sector 2, Nirala Greenshire and Nirala World Splendora, and alongside them projects still on site, including Eros Sampoornam III, with possession shown for late 2028. Most of the flats offered are two- and three-bedroom homes. A few smaller formats appear too: Airwil Thinkpad is listed with one-bedroom units, and Rakmo Krishna Kunj is listed as plots rather than flats.
For a family that has just moved in, that can mean fewer neighbours to ask for a tutor's name. Many moved in when their tower got possession, sometimes while the next phase was still being built. Children may have changed schools in the move, which is one of the most common reasons parents look for a tutor in the first year: to bridge a gap between the old school's chapter order and the new one's.
Patwari, the village the sector grew around, keeps its own lanes and older buildings. Square Yards' locality notes for Patwari describe a planned, developing area with markets, banks and grocery shops within reach, and Numed Super Speciality Hospital nearby. Reviewers there are a mix of owners and tenants.
The result is a sector of first homes and young families, where routines are still settling. A tutor who is patient with a child who has just moved, and who can give a parent a clear note after each session, tends to fit Sector 2 better than one who simply works through a textbook.
Reviews of Patwari and the Sector 2 societies on property portals mention the same practical points. Here is how each one affects tuition.
Broken stretches and potholes come up in reviews, which is common where building is still under way. For tuition, this is about directions: give a map pin to the exact gate, and warn a new tutor if an approach road is closed for work.
Reviewers mention waterlogging on some streets during heavy rain. In the monsoon, decide in advance which evenings switch to online, so the child does not lose a week.
Peak-hour traffic and a wish for better links to Greater Noida proper are recurring themes. A slot that starts before the office rush, or a weekend morning, is easier for a tutor to keep every week.
On the positive side, reviewers mention well-lit streets at night, green spaces, pavements, and schools and hospitals nearby. Those points make later sessions more comfortable for tutors and parents alike, including families who prefer a woman tutor.
Where a new tower is going up beside a finished one, daytime noise and dust can be part of life. Choose the quieter side of the flat for study, and if site work runs late, a headset session online may be calmer than a home visit.
The Greater Noida West Link Road is the spine most tutors use to reach Sector 2, with Bisrakh Road the other main way in. Portal listings for Eros Sampoornam III and Nirala World Splendora name both roads, and the area also has road access towards NH-24 on the Ghaziabad side. A tutor coming from Noida usually takes the road from Noida Sector 121 across the Hindon and then joins the belt's internal roads.
No metro station serves Sector 2 itself. A tutor who prefers the metro rides the Aqua Line to its first stop at Noida Sector 51, linked by skywalk to the Blue Line at Sector 52, and then takes a cab, auto or e-rickshaw out to the sector. Most tutors simply ride a two-wheeler.
Newer projects can have temporary entrances, and a site gate is not a visitor gate. When you send your address, add the society name, the phase if there is one, and the gate the guard expects visitors at. A dropped pin on that gate is more useful than the postal address.
Sector 2 sits next to Sector 3 and Sector 1, and these sectors together form the Patwari and Bisrakh side of the belt, so tutors from there, or from Techzone 4, usually reach you fastest. That matters for a three-a-week routine in Classes 9 and 10, when a cancelled class costs more.
For a house on a plot, the tutor comes straight to the door. Share the block and house number, a nearby landmark and where a bike can be parked on the street.
Societies in Sector 2 generally ask visitors to register at the gate. Set this up before the demo so the class starts on time.
If you would like a woman tutor, mention it in your request; our page on a female tutor in Greater Noida has more detail. Tutors who join NXTutors complete an ID check, and you can see what that ID check involves. Because it confirms identity and nothing more, the free demo is where you judge the person.
Families in Sector 2's newer societies mostly ask for CBSE help, and our CBSE home tutors in Greater Noida page covers that board. ICSE and ISC come next, with some UP Board and a few IB or Cambridge requests. For a child who changed school in the move, the board may also have changed. Tell the tutor which board your child came from as well as the current one, so the first weeks can close any gaps in topics the two syllabuses order differently.
For a full comparison of the boards, see our guide to choosing between CBSE, ICSE, IB and IGCSE.
Young children who have just moved home need routine more than anything. Two or three fixed evenings a week with the same tutor, in the same spot, help them settle. Ask the tutor to start by checking reading level and handwriting, because a new school may expect a different pace from the old one.
A single tutor for maths and science often works here. English deserves attention too, especially for a child switching boards, where written answers may be marked differently; our English tutors in Greater Noida help with grammar, reading and answer writing. Ask for a short monthly note on progress.
Class 9 is where the board course starts in earnest, and gaps from earlier years show up quickly in maths and science. A tutor who spends the first month testing basics can save a hard Class 10. See our Class 9 home tutors for what that year usually covers.
Sessions grow longer and more structured, with sample papers and timed practice. For science, many families choose a subject specialist; our science tuition in Greater Noida page covers Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Senior students often travel out for coaching. A home tutor then covers board-style answers and practicals. Weekend sessions avoid the evening rush on the link road.
Each board publishes its own timetable: CBSE on cbse.gov.in, CISCE on cisce.org and UP Board on upmsp.edu.in. Go by those notices, not by forwarded messages. From around December, ask your tutor for one more weekly session and fix it early, because tutors' evenings fill quickly. For a family still settling into a new flat, keep the exam-month timetable on paper on the fridge, so everyone knows which evenings are tuition evenings.
Home tuition works well in Sector 2 when the tutor lives a short ride away in Sector 1, Sector 3 or Techzone 4. Your child skips the evening traffic, and you can see how the session goes. The trade-off is gate registration and, in some towers, a flat still being set up.
Online tuition helps when the roads are being dug up, in heavy rain, or for subjects where no specialist travels to the sector. It needs a quiet room, a working connection and some self-discipline from the child.
A coaching centre gives structure and peers, but from Sector 2 it usually means a ride out at the busiest hour. Families often keep a centre for entrance exams and a home tutor for school subjects.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
Each tutor sets their own fee. In Sector 2, the quote depends on the class and board, the subject, the session length and the number of sessions a week. Travel is a real factor: a tutor living in Sector 3 or Sector 1 has a short hop, while one coming from Noida through the evening traffic may quote higher or prefer fewer, longer sessions.
When comparing quotes, work out the monthly total from the session rate, and ask what is included: worksheets, tests, and whether a class missed for road works or rain is made up. You see every matched tutor's fee on their profile before the free demo.
We could not find a sourced public library or study centre in Sector 2. Newer societies here list clubhouses, and some may open a room to residents, but that is the society's call. For now, the quietest spot for most children is a cleared table at home, away from any side facing a building site.

Sector 2 is one of the twelve NXTutors pages that make up the Greater Noida West zone of Greater Noida. Others include Gaur City 1, Gaur City 2, Sector 1 and Sector 3, and the zone's numbered sectors on our site are 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, 12 and 16. Home or online tuition in any subject can be requested from this page.
If Maths is the worry, a good tutor will start by finding the exact topic where things went wrong rather than racing ahead. Ask how they will rebuild that base, how they set homework, and how they will keep you informed. Our Maths home tutors page lists more options in the city.
Here is how the tutors below are chosen. Anyone who lives in Sector 2, or who travels to it, is shown first. Where no one has listed Sector 2 so far, you will meet tutors connected to other pages of the zone, then teachers from across the city, home tutors from Ghaziabad, and online teachers too. Each card says why that tutor is there. We send two or three matches, with fees visible before a demo lesson that costs nothing.
