Tutors who join go through an ID check. Tell us the class, board and your area: we share two or three matched tutors, each with their fee, and the first class is a free demo, at home or online.
Book a free demo classAcross NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

In Durg, a NEET aspirant's week is usually built around school, board homework and, for many, a coaching class in Durg or in neighbouring Bhilai. A home tutor helps when the work given to them is narrow and regular: asking the student to recall last week's NCERT biology before it fades, sitting through the physics numericals that keep stalling, and turning practice papers into a habit rather than a panic. This page sets out how Durg families arrange that help subject by subject, what differs for Chhattisgarh board, CBSE and ICSE students, and how to rehearse the real sitting at home. For the exam itself and the full syllabus, read the national NEET home tutor page.
In its 2026 bulletin the National Testing Agency set NEET (UG) as a single pen-and-paper exam of 180 questions, all compulsory and all multiple-choice. Biology, botany and zoology together, had 90 of them; physics and chemistry had 45 each; the paper was worth 720 marks. A correct response earned four marks and an incorrect one lost one. The syllabus comes from the National Medical Commission, whose biology list has ten units, half from Class 11 and half from Class 12, in line with NCERT. Details can change, so read the current bulletin through nta.ac.in each year.
A request that just says "NEET tuition" tends to produce an hour that tries to do everything and finishes nothing. Each subject asks for a different kind of attention, so name them separately when you write to us.
| Subject | Kind of help | In a session |
|---|---|---|
| Biology | Short, frequent recall | The student explains a process aloud, draws a diagram from memory and finds the NCERT sentence a question was built from |
| Physics | Problems worked side by side | The tutor follows the set-up, units and each step, and stops at the first wrong move instead of at the final answer |
| Chemistry | Split by type of chapter | Physical chemistry handled like physics; inorganic and much of organic checked like biology |
If the student already goes to a coaching class, the tutor's list should come straight from it: questions left open, chapters rushed, answers marked wrong in the last test. Then the tutor supports the class instead of competing with it.
Here is one possible plan for a Class 12 student whose coaching meets every other day. Borrow the shape, not the exact days: biology in small, frequent doses; physics in fewer, longer sittings; and one full paper with a careful review.
| When | What | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Each morning | Reading the current NCERT biology chapter | Alone |
| Two evenings a week | A quick recall test on that reading | Online |
| Twice a fortnight | Physics: problems left from class, a weak idea taught again, a few timed numericals | At home |
| Weekly | Chemistry: whichever half is weaker | Home or online |
| One Sunday morning | A full paper on paper, then the review | At home |
Durg's colonies sit in tight clusters, so a tutor living in your own cluster can usually keep an early or weekend slot without trouble. Evening home visits are easiest when nobody has to cross the G. E. Road; for those hours an online recall check is simpler.
Chemistry upsets NEET timetables more than its 45 questions would suggest, because it hides two different subjects. Physical chemistry is arithmetic with ideas attached: mole concept, equilibrium, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, kinetics. Here the tutor has to see every line, exactly as in physics. Inorganic chemistry, and much of organic, is about patterns and memory: periodic trends, named reactions, which reagent does what. That half improves with the brief, regular quizzing that biology needs. Organic mechanisms need both reasoning and memory. If a child is only weak on one side, do not book full chemistry hours. Let the demo tutor find the side that is losing marks, then choose numericals at the table or short online quizzes and reaction maps redrawn from memory.
| Board | What the student already has | Tutor's extra |
|---|---|---|
| CGBSE Higher Secondary (science faculty) | Physics and Chemistry, with Biology as the main choice; Mathematics can be kept as an extra subject | Objective questions against the clock, which the board exam never sets; NCERT lines read next to the state textbook; practical records kept up to date |
| CBSE | NCERT books in school already | Faster recall and accuracy; written answers kept in practice for school tests |
| ICSE and ISC | A broad syllabus answered at length | NCERT phrasing set beside the council's books; short objective drills |
The CGBSE teaching plan for 2026-27 sets the science faculty as Physics (201) and Chemistry (202) with Biology (203) or Mathematics (204), and allows the other as an extra subject (Biology 803 or Mathematics 804). Environmental studies is an additional compulsory subject in Higher Secondary. A student weighing medicine against engineering can therefore keep both open into Class 12, at the price of a heavier week, so plan tutor hours before choosing. The board's own textbooks are printed for the state, so a NEET tutor should read the CGBSE chapter beside the NCERT one and point out where the wording differs. Our Chhattisgarh board tutor in Durg page goes further, and the Durg biology, physics and chemistry pages cover each school subject.
| Locality | Likely tutor route | Detail worth sharing |
|---|---|---|
| Baghera | From Shankar Nagar or Mohan Nagar, on the Urla side | A map pin and the road you use from Shankar Nagar; online suits a senior specialist |
| Sai Nagar | From Shankar Nagar, Baghera or Sikola Basti | "Sai Nagar, Durg" in full, the lane, your floor and the gate colour |
| Jawahar Nagar | From Katulbod or Hari Nagar, near the G. E. Road | "Jawahar Nagar, Durg", the lane, house number and the turning from the main road |
| Sikola Basti | From Kadambari Nagar, Jawahar Nagar or Mohan Nagar | The name local shopkeepers use, often just Sikola, and a pinned location |
| Padmanabhpur | From Borsi, Adarsh Nagar or Subhash Nagar | Street, house number and nearest chowk; some lists spell it Padmnabhpur |
| Adarsh Nagar | From Padmanabhpur, Borsi or Rishabh Nagar | Whether you are in the older part or New Adarsh Nagar, plus a landmark |
Zone pages: Shankar Nagar and Baghera, Kadambari Nagar and Jawahar Nagar and Padmanabhpur and Borsi. All localities are on the Durg home tutors page, and the Durg home tuition guide covers timing and addresses. On the Bhilai side of the boundary, see NEET tutors in Bhilai.
Booklets in 2026 came in English, in Hindi and English together, or in English with a regional language. Many Durg students learn science in Hindi at school and hear it in English at coaching. Biology terms are heavy in both languages, so decide in Class 11, keep a glossary in that language, and pick a tutor comfortable in Hindi and English who still makes your child write in the language of the booklet. Check the current bulletin for the options.
The 2026 exam was written on paper, so mock papers at home should be too: a printed booklet, a separate sheet for answers, one uninterrupted sitting. Afterwards the tutor logs, subject by subject, the wrong answers, the skipped questions and the point where the clock beat the student. Since every wrong answer subtracts a mark, a firm rule on when to skip, agreed with the tutor and kept to, can be worth more than another chapter revised. Three or four papers in, the log shows whether knowledge, accuracy or speed is the real problem, and the sessions are reshaped around it.
| Stage | Focus | Durg note |
|---|---|---|
| Class 11 | The five Class 11 biology units; mechanics made solid; a glossary in the booklet language | CGBSE students decide early whether to keep Mathematics as an extra subject |
| Class 12 | Biology revised in rounds through the year; timed physics; written answers before the board | Practical files in all three sciences kept moving |
| A repeat year | The previous attempt's mistakes listed; those chapters taught again first | With school over, morning home sessions open up more tutors |
Under the 2026 bulletin a candidate had to be at least 17, and there was no upper age limit; confirm this in the latest bulletin before committing to a repeat year. Further reading: NEET biology, NCERT first and the NEET physics tutor page.

Give each subject the kind of help it needs rather than one general hour. Biology improves with short, frequent recall checks, often online. Physics needs fewer but longer sittings at home, with the tutor watching each step. Chemistry depends on which half is weak: numericals at the table, or quick quizzes for reactions and trends.
The NTA 2026 bulletin set NEET (UG) as one pen-and-paper sitting of 180 compulsory multiple-choice questions for 720 marks. Biology had 90 questions, physics and chemistry 45 each, with four marks for a right answer and one deducted for a wrong one. Read the current bulletin each year, because details can change.
Yes, the CGBSE 2026-27 plan lets a science student take Biology or Mathematics as the main choice and add the other as an extra subject. That keeps both entrance routes open into Class 12, but it makes the week heavier. Plan tutor hours before choosing, and confirm the rules on cgbse.nic.in.
Choose the language your child reads science in most comfortably, and settle it early in Class 11. The 2026 bulletin offered English, bilingual Hindi and English, or English with a regional language. Build a glossary in that language and ask the tutor to explain in both while making your child answer in one.
Take them on paper, in one sitting, with a separate answer sheet, because the 2026 exam was a pen-and-paper test. Afterwards the tutor should log wrong answers, skipped questions and where time ran out in each subject. Over a few papers that log shows whether knowledge, accuracy or speed needs work.
NEET tutors usually reach Baghera from Shankar Nagar or Mohan Nagar, Jawahar Nagar from Katulbod or Hari Nagar near the G. E. Road, and Adarsh Nagar from Padmanabhpur or Borsi. Share a map pin, the lane and a landmark, and say whether you live in the older part or New Adarsh Nagar.
Yes, under the 2026 NEET (UG) bulletin a candidate had to be at least 17, with no upper age limit. A Durg student planning another year should confirm this in the current bulletin first. With school finished, daytime home sessions widen the choice of tutor, and the first weeks should rebuild the chapters that cost marks.
Look for a tutor who finds gaps quickly by questioning your child on a chapter read that week. A physics tutor should ask what was attempted before explaining. The tutor should know the current pattern, explain how the minus mark changes the attempt plan, and commit to one weekly slot your child can keep.
Tell us the class, board and your area. We share two or three matched tutors, and the first class is a free demo.
