What home tuition costs in Bikaner

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.

Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Physics home tutor in Bikaner: derivations for the board, problem practice for entrance, and a practical file kept up to date

Physics in Classes 11 and 12 asks three things of a student. The board paper wants derivations and labelled diagrams in full; an entrance test such as JEE Main or NEET wants fast, accurate problem solving; and the practical exam wants a tidy record file and calm answers at the viva. A Bikaner student may be strong in one and weak in another, and a home tutor's first job is to find out which. We suggest two or three physics tutors matched to the board, the exam your child is aiming at and your part of the city. Each fee is shown in advance, and the first lesson is a free demo.

Which physics paper matters most this term, and how is each one scored?

The chapters overlap, but the scoring does not, so agree first on the paper that matters most this term.

Physics papers Bikaner's senior students prepare for: format, scoring and the weekly practice each one needs
PaperFormatScoringPractise each week
RBSE Class 12 physicsTheory 56 with 14 sessional, making 70; practical exam 30Theory and practical are passed separatelyWritten answers weighted by unit, plus record entries
CBSE Class 12 physics (042)Theory 70 in 33 compulsory questions; practical 30Written paper; calculators not allowedDerivations, labelled figures and case-based items
JEE Main, as set in 202625 physics questions: 20 with options, 5 with a numerical answerPlus 4 when correct, minus 1 when wrongMulti-step problems, each wrong one reworked
NEET (UG), as set in 202645 physics questions out of 180, worth 180 of the 720 marks, on paperPlus 4 when correct, minus 1 when wrongAccuracy at NCERT level and fewer guesses

The National Testing Agency conducts both tests and sets their syllabi apart from the boards, so a topic a board has trimmed may still appear; check the latest NTA bulletin before striking a chapter off. Our topic-by-topic JEE physics plan and the list of high-yield NEET physics chapters help with priorities, and our JEE and NEET home tutor pages for Bikaner explain how we match for each.

How does the Rajasthan board divide Class 12 physics?

In the Science faculty of the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, physics and chemistry are compulsory, and the student adds a third subject such as biology or mathematics. Theory is a 56-mark paper; with the school's 14 sessional marks it reaches 70, and a separate practical exam adds 30. Theory and practical have separate pass marks, so a high theory score cannot rescue a poor practical. Here is how the 2026-27 syllabus allots the 56 theory marks across nine units:

RBSE Class 12 physics theory, 2026-27: units by marks out of 56, and how a tutor should handle each
UnitMarksHow to handle it
Optics11The largest unit: ray diagrams and the sign convention practised until neither needs thought
Electromagnetic induction and alternating current9A phasor sketch drawn beside every line of algebra
Magnetic effects of current and magnetism8Arrows for field and force on every figure
Electrostatics7Field and potential worked with a unit on every line
Atoms and nuclei; semiconductor electronics6 and 6Short numericals and neatly labelled circuits
Dual nature of radiation and matter4Graphs of the photoelectric effect, drawn and interpreted
Current electricity3Small in marks, but its ideas run through all circuit work
Electromagnetic waves2Bands of the spectrum in order, each with a use

The course follows NCERT books, and the board publishes its syllabus in both Hindi and English. Hindi-medium students should practise with the textbook's Hindi technical words. The Rajasthan board tutor in Bikaner page covers the whole board.

How are the 70 theory marks spread in CBSE Class 12 physics?

CBSE's paper design is unchanged from last session, and for 2026-27 the fourteen NCERT chapters fall into four blocks. The electricity and magnetism chapters, from electrostatics through to alternating current, share 33 marks. Optics with electromagnetic waves is worth 18, dual nature with atoms and nuclei 12, and semiconductor electronics 7. Transistors and logic gates are no longer in the course, so older notes that teach them are out of date.

There are 33 questions in five sections. Section A has sixteen one-mark items, twelve multiple-choice and four assertion–reason. Section B has five questions of two marks, C seven of three, D two case studies of four, and E three long answers of five. Roughly 38% of the marks reward recall. Physical constants are printed on the paper, and calculators are not permitted. Class 12 has a single main board exam. Derivations that recur are collected in our Class 12 physics strategies post, and the Class 12 physics tutor page sets out a plan for the board year.

How much of the 30-mark practical can be prepared at home?

A good share of it. In CBSE, two experiments carry 7 marks each; the viva and the record file are worth 5 each; one activity and the investigatory project bring 3 each. The record file needs eight or more experiments (four per section), six or more activities (three per section) and the project report. On the Rajasthan board, the practical is also worth 30 with a pass mark of its own.

The apparatus stays at school, but a home tutor can check record entries, precautions and sources of error, and run a mock viva. Why repeat a reading? What does this slope stand for? Such viva questions are easy to rehearse.

What should a week with a home physics tutor look like?

A workable pattern for a senior student in Bikaner is a home tutor two or three times a week, each visit with one job:

  • Visit one: unfinished problems. Questions the student left blank, guessed or copied from a solution are solved again slowly, until each step can be explained aloud.
  • Visit two: the board answer. One derivation and one labelled diagram written as the board expects, then marked on the spot.
  • Visit three, if there is one: the last test. Each lost mark is labelled: a missing idea, a slip under time pressure, or a question better skipped. Next week's plan comes from those labels.

Leave one evening a week for revision alone, and keep any coaching batch clear of the home slot. Our articles on coaching or a home tutor for JEE and the same choice for NEET set out the options.

Which four steps should every physics solution follow?

  1. Draw it. Before any formula, a figure showing directions, axes or rays.
  2. Name the law. One line saying which principle applies, such as conservation of momentum or Kirchhoff's rules.
  3. Substitute with units. Numbers go in with their units on every line, so a dimension slip shows at once.
  4. Check the answer. A glance at the sign and size of the result before moving on.

Bring the two latest school tests to the free demo. A good tutor reads them first and points to the weak step before teaching anything.

Can a physics tutor reach your colony in the evening?

Senior students often get home late in the day, which pushes physics into the evening. An evening slot lasts only if the tutor's route is easy and the address is clear. See every locality on our Bikaner page.

ISC, IB or IGCSE physics: what should you check, and when should tuition start?

  • ISC. Alongside theory, CISCE assesses practical work and a project, and its examiners reward reasoning that is explained, not a one-line reply. Confirm the tutor works from your exam year's syllabus.
  • IB Diploma. Five lettered themes organise the course. Four-fifths of the grade comes from written papers; the other fifth is an investigation the student plans and writes up unaided. Our guide to IB physics at SL and HL explains more.
  • Cambridge IGCSE. Two tiers, Core and Extended. Students switching to an Indian board in Class 11 often need more time on vectors and graphs.

Start in Class 11 if you can: mechanics depends on vectors and graphs, and both run through Class 12. Online lessons widen the choice of specialist. Read the Class 11 physics tutor page and the stream choice guide.

What does a physics home tutor in Bikaner charge?

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors fix their own rates. Ask each one about the papers they have taught recently, from RBSE and CBSE to JEE and NEET, the latest hour they can arrive, and whether part of the week can move online. You see all fees before the demo; the Bikaner home tuition fees guide says more.

How do you ask for a physics shortlist in Bikaner?

Share the class, the board and the main aim (the school paper, JEE or NEET), the medium, your colony and a landmark near it, and your free evenings. We send back two or three physics tutors and their fees, and you choose one for the free demo. If it is not a good fit, a second demo follows, and changing tutor later is free. If no suitable tutor can come at that hour, we suggest an online or mixed plan. Tutors who join go through an ID check; the Verified badge appears only after the ID check is complete (how the ID check works). Our office is in Sector 66, Gurugram, and online lessons run across India. Physics Home Tutor in Bikaner: common questions

What should a Bikaner family compare when physics tutors quote their fees?

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Bikaner physics tutors set their own fees. Compare the papers each has taught recently, the latest hour they can arrive and whether some sessions can move online.

How do I get a shortlist of physics home tutors in Bikaner?

To get a Bikaner physics shortlist, share the class, board, main aim (school paper, JEE or NEET), medium, colony with a landmark and free evenings. NXTutors sends two or three matched tutors with their fees, and the first class is a free demo. If the fit is wrong, a second demo follows.

Which unit carries the most marks in RBSE Class 12 physics theory?

Optics carries the most marks in RBSE Class 12 physics theory, with 11 of the 56 theory marks in 2026-27. Electromagnetic induction and alternating current follow with 9, and magnetic effects of current and magnetism with 8. The school adds 14 sessional marks, and the practical exam is worth 30.

Can strong theory marks make up for a weak RBSE physics practical?

No, strong theory marks cannot make up for a weak RBSE physics practical, because theory and practical each have their own pass mark. The practical exam is worth 30 marks. A Bikaner student should keep the record file current through the year and rehearse precautions, sources of error and viva questions.

For a Bikaner CBSE student, how are the 70 Class 12 physics theory marks grouped?

CBSE Class 12 physics groups its 70 theory marks into four blocks for 2026-27. Electricity and magnetism share 33, optics with electromagnetic waves 18, dual nature with atoms and nuclei 12, and semiconductor electronics 7. Transistors and logic gates are no longer in the course, so older notes on them are out of date.

What makes up the CBSE Class 12 physics practical of 30 marks?

The CBSE Class 12 physics practical gives 7 marks to each of two experiments. The viva and the record file get 5 each, and an activity and the investigatory project 3 each. The record needs eight or more experiments, six or more activities and the project report. A home tutor can run mock vivas.

How many physics questions should a Bikaner entrance aspirant expect in JEE Main and NEET?

In 2026, JEE Main Paper 1 set 25 physics questions, 20 with options and 5 with a numerical answer. NEET (UG) set 45 physics questions out of 180, worth 180 of 720 marks. Both scored plus 4 for a right answer and minus 1 for a wrong one; check nta.ac.in for the current pattern.

How often should a Bikaner Class 12 student see a home physics tutor?

A Bikaner Class 12 student usually does well with a home physics tutor two or three times a week. Give each visit one job: unfinished problems, a board-style derivation marked on the spot, or a review of the last test. Leave one evening a week free for revision alone.

When should a Bikaner student start physics tuition for Class 12?

A Bikaner student should ideally start physics tuition in Class 11, because mechanics depends on vectors and graphs that return throughout Class 12. Gaps left in Class 11 cost marks later in the board paper and in entrance tests. A term spent on foundations is easier than a repair in the board year.

How should a Lalgarh family describe their address to a physics tutor?

A Lalgarh family should give the colony name, house number and the main road they live off. Lalgarh Palace is the landmark most families use on this northern side of Bikaner, and the area has its own sub post office on Lalgarh Road. Weekend slots also suit many families here.
