Chemistry home tutor in Bikaner: physical, organic and inorganic, each practised the way the paper marks it

Senior chemistry is really three subjects sharing one name. Physical chemistry is numericals, where marks slip away on a unit or a power of ten. Organic chemistry is a web of reactions that must be learnt as routes, not as a list. Inorganic chemistry is trends and exceptions that reward exact textbook wording. A Bikaner student can be comfortable in one branch and lost in another, and a home tutor's value lies in spotting which. Tell NXTutors the board, medium and colony, and we suggest two or three chemistry tutors to match. You can read each fee before you meet, and the opening lesson is a free demo.

Board paper, NEET or JEE: how does each one treat chemistry?

A Class 12 science student may face a board paper and an entrance test in the same year, and each tests the same chapters differently:

Chemistry in the papers Bikaner's Class 12 students sit: size, format and what earns the marks
PaperSize and formatWhat earns marks
RBSE Class 12 chemistryTheory 56 plus 14 sessional; practical 30; each passed on its ownAnswers that keep close to NCERT wording, in Hindi or English as the student writes
CBSE Class 12 chemistry (043)Theory 70 across 33 compulsory questions; practical 30Reasons in full sentences, balanced equations, neat numericals
NEET (UG), 2026 pattern45 chemistry questions out of 180, worth 180 of 720 marks, on paperFast, exact recall of NCERT lines
JEE Main 2026, Paper 125 of 75 questions: 20 multiple-choice, 5 numerical-valueMechanisms and multi-step physical chemistry

Both tests are conducted by the National Testing Agency, and in 2026 each correct answer earned four marks while each wrong one lost a mark. NTA confirms the pattern afresh each year in its bulletin. To decide which chapters come first, read the important NEET chemistry chapters, our branch-wise JEE chemistry guide and the NEET chemistry tutor page. Our NEET home tutor in Bikaner page covers all three NEET subjects.

What does the Rajasthan board expect in Class 12 chemistry?

In the Science faculty of the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, chemistry and physics are the two compulsory subjects. The chemistry theory paper is worth 56, the school's sessional marks add 14 for a total of 70, and the practical exam carries 30. Theory and practical are passed separately, so the record file cannot wait for the last month. The course is taught from NCERT books, and the board issues its syllabus in Hindi and English.

Three things matter when you choose a tutor for a Rajasthan-board student. The tutor should teach in the medium your child writes in and use the Hindi technical terms where the exam needs them. Practice should come from the NCERT text and the board's own model questions, not from another board's papers. And the practical should be planned from the first term. Our Rajasthan board tutor in Bikaner page covers the other subjects.

How are CBSE Class 12 chemistry marks shared between chapters?

Chemistry is one CBSE subject where every chapter has its own marks, so the year can be planned almost like a budget. The 2026-27 design is unchanged, with ten theory chapters in three branches:

CBSE Class 12 chemistry, 2026-27: branch totals, chapter marks and the practice each branch needs
BranchChaptersPractice that pays
Organic, 33 marksAldehydes, ketones and carboxylic acids 8 marks; biomolecules 7 marks; haloalkanes and haloarenes, alcohols, phenols and ethers, and amines 6 marks eachConversion chains written from memory, named reactions, tests that tell compounds apart
Physical, 23 marksElectrochemistry 9 marks; solutions and chemical kinetics 7 marks eachA unit on every line of a numerical; rate laws and half-life
Inorganic, 14 marksd- and f-block elements 7 marks; coordination compounds 7 marksEach trend stated with one clear reason; naming and isomerism

Five sections, A to E, make up the paper, a handful of questions offer an internal choice, and neither a calculator nor log tables may be used. Recall and understanding account for roughly 40% of the marks; applying, analysing and evaluating account for the rest. Our guide to Class 12 organic and inorganic chemistry works through each chapter, and the Class 12 chemistry tutor page sets out a board-year plan.

Which topics has CBSE removed, and should entrance students still study them?

For 2026-27, CBSE has taken the solid state out of Class 12 entirely, along with the p-block chapter on Groups 15 to 18. Another four topics remain on the syllabus, yet the school marks them and the board paper leaves them out: polymers, surface chemistry, everyday-life chemistry, and how elements are isolated.

Entrance students should be careful here. The JEE and NEET syllabi come from NTA, not CBSE, and a chapter the board has removed, such as those p-block groups, can still be examined there. Treat the board's list as a guide to board revision only, and read the official entrance syllabus before skipping a chapter.

What should a home chemistry tutor do differently in each branch?

  • Physical chemistry: one slow numerical a visit. The student works a problem in solutions, electrochemistry or kinetics aloud while the tutor watches each line. Marks usually go on a dropped unit or a wrong power of ten, rarely on the formula itself.
  • Organic chemistry: the reaction map. Once a week the student redraws, from memory, one page connecting alcohols, carbonyl compounds, carboxylic acids and amines, then checks it against NCERT. In time, conversions read like roads between towns.
  • Inorganic chemistry: short oral quizzes. Quick questions lifted from the NCERT text, and for every trend the student must say why. Exact textbook phrasing is what NEET rewards most.
  • Every visit: two board answers. A pair of "give reasons" questions, written out and marked while the tutor is still there, keeps board writing level with objective practice.

Open each session by asking the student to explain the week's school chapter with the book closed; missing pieces appear straight away. With coaching in the week, the home lesson should trail that chapter, not run ahead.

Can practical marks be prepared away from the school lab?

Much of the preparation, yes. CBSE awards 8 marks for volumetric analysis and 8 for salt analysis, 6 for an experiment linked to the theory syllabus, 4 for the project, and 4 for the record and viva combined. In this session's titration, potassium permanganate is run against oxalic acid or Mohr's salt, and every student weighs out and prepares the standard solution without help. On the Rajasthan board, the chemistry practical is likewise worth 30 and must be passed on its own.

At home there is no glassware, but there is time to practise working out molarity from the mass weighed, to set out burette readings in a tidy table, to recite the salt-analysis sequence from the first tests to the confirmatory ones, and to answer viva favourites such as why permanganate acts as its own indicator.

How does your colony affect an evening chemistry class?

The address and the household change a lesson more than families expect, as these six Bikaner colonies show. Every locality is listed on our Bikaner page.

  • Kote Gate. Busy lanes and family homes by the old city gate. Give the mohalla, the chowk and an easy sign, and settle a quiet corner if cousins share the study space.
  • Purani Ginani. Also called Old Ginani, on the northern edge of the old city, with Junagarh Fort as the usual landmark. From April, move lessons to early evening once the afternoon heat passes.
  • Murlidhar Vyas Colony. A large colony on the western side, known as MDV Colony. Give the block or sector before the house number.
  • Lalgarh. The northern part of the city, named after Lalgarh Palace. The colony name, house number and the main road you live off are usually enough, and weekend slots suit many families.
  • Samta Nagar. Family houses beside Karni Nagar. A tutor who joins in Class 12 should find the weak chapters first, then plan around past papers.
  • Jai Narayan Vyas Colony. JNV Colony, on the east side, is split into numbered sectors such as Sector 1 and Sector 4. Put the sector number first, then the house number and a corner the tutor will recognise.

If a route gets hard to keep in the weeks before the pre-boards, shift one weekly visit online and the revision plan survives. The Lalgarh and Karni Nagar and JNV Colony and Sadul Ganj zone pages have more local tips.

ISC, IB or IGCSE chemistry: what changes?

  • ISC: CISCE assesses practical and project work along with the theory paper, and its examiners expect explanation that goes beyond a one-line answer.
  • IB Diploma: offered at SL and HL, with the course built on two themes, structure and reactivity. The scientific investigation belongs to the student alone; a tutor may question, never steer.
  • Cambridge IGCSE: entries are made at Core or Extended tier. For how Cambridge and Edexcel compare, read our IGCSE board comparison.

Specialists for these courses are not always close by in Bikaner, so name the course when you first write to us. Pairing an online specialist with a local tutor who checks written work is one practical answer.

Why is Class 11 the time to fix chemistry?

Everything in Class 12 chemistry leans on Class 11. Moles, equilibrium and early organic chemistry resurface in solutions, in electrochemistry and in every conversion, and a weak spot there shows up a year later as lost marks. Mending it in Class 11 is far easier than in the board year. Our Class 11 chemistry tutor page explains more, and the national chemistry home tutor page shows how we match across India.

What does a chemistry home tutor in Bikaner cost?

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Every tutor names their own rate. Before choosing, find out which exam each tutor has prepared students for lately, how the week would be shared between board answers and entrance problems, and whether a busy week could switch to online. You see the fees before the demo, and the Bikaner home tuition fees guide has more questions.

What should a chemistry request include?

Write to us with the class, board and medium, the target exam, the branch where marks are lost, your colony with a nearby landmark, and your free evenings. A shortlist of two or three chemistry tutors comes back with fees, and you pick one for the free demo. A poor fit simply leads to a second demo, and switching tutor later costs nothing. When no suitable tutor can reach you, we propose online or mixed lessons. Tutors who join go through an ID check; the Verified badge appears only after the ID check is complete (how the ID check works). Chemistry Home Tutor in Bikaner: common questions

What fee questions should a Bikaner parent put to a chemistry tutor?

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Bikaner chemistry tutors name their own rates. Ask which exam each has prepared students for lately and how the week would split between board and entrance work.

What details help NXTutors match a chemistry tutor in Bikaner?

NXTutors matches a Bikaner chemistry tutor from the class, board and medium, the target exam, the branch where marks are lost, your colony with a landmark and your free evenings. We send two or three tutors with fees, the first class is a free demo, and switching tutor later costs nothing.

How is RBSE Class 12 chemistry marked for a Bikaner student?

RBSE Class 12 chemistry has a theory paper of 56 marks, 14 sessional marks from the school for a total of 70, and a practical exam of 30. Theory and practical are passed separately. Chemistry and physics are compulsory in the Science faculty, and the course follows NCERT books in Hindi or English.

For a Bikaner CBSE student, which Class 12 chemistry branch is worth the most marks?

Organic chemistry carries the most marks in CBSE Class 12 chemistry for 2026-27, with 33 of the 70 theory marks. Physical chemistry carries 23 and inorganic 14. Aldehydes, ketones and carboxylic acids is the largest organic chapter at 8 marks, and electrochemistry the largest physical chapter at 9.

Should a Bikaner JEE or NEET student skip chemistry topics CBSE has removed?

No, a Bikaner JEE or NEET student should not skip removed chemistry topics without checking. CBSE has dropped the solid state and the Groups 15 to 18 p-block chapter for 2026-27, but NTA sets the entrance syllabi separately, and such topics can still be examined there. Read the official entrance syllabus first.

Which CBSE Class 12 chemistry topics are marked only by the school?

Four CBSE Class 12 chemistry topics are marked only by the school in 2026-27: polymers, surface chemistry, chemistry in everyday life, and the isolation of elements. They stay in the syllabus but never appear on the board paper, so board revision can focus elsewhere while school tests still cover them.

How can a Bikaner student prepare the CBSE chemistry practical at home?

A Bikaner student can prepare much of the CBSE chemistry practical at home by rehearsing molarity sums, burette tables, the salt-analysis sequence and viva answers. CBSE gives 8 marks each to volumetric and salt analysis, 6 to a theory-linked experiment, 4 to the project and 4 to the record and viva.

How should a home tutor teach organic chemistry to a Bikaner Class 12 student?

A home tutor should teach organic chemistry to a Bikaner Class 12 student as a reaction map rather than a list. Once a week the student redraws, from memory, one page linking alcohols, carbonyl compounds, acids and amines, then checks it against NCERT, until conversions become familiar routes.

Why should a Bikaner student fix chemistry gaps in Class 11?

A Bikaner student should fix chemistry gaps in Class 11 because moles, equilibrium and early organic chemistry return in Class 12 solutions, electrochemistry and every conversion question. A weak spot left in Class 11 shows up a year later as lost board and entrance marks, and is harder to mend then.

How should a JNV Colony family give a chemistry tutor their address?

A JNV Colony family should give the sector number first, then the house number and a corner the tutor will recognise. Jai Narayan Vyas Colony is a large colony on the east side of Bikaner, divided into numbered sectors such as Sector 1 and Sector 4, so the name alone is not enough.
