What home tuition costs in Faridabad

Accountancy home tutors in Faridabad, from Mathura Road to Neharpar

Faridabad's commerce students sit CBSE, ISC, Cambridge or Haryana board papers, and they live on either side of a city split by the Agra canal: the older sectors and NIT along the Violet Line, and the newer towers of Neharpar beyond the water. An accountancy tutor has to suit both the paper and that geography. Families in any sector can request one. NXTutors sends two or three tutor profiles matched to your child's board, class and location, each fee shown before you book, and the first class with the tutor you choose is a free demo. If no suitable tutor can make the journey, online lessons open up a wider choice.

Which accounting paper is your child preparing for?

Most Faridabad students take CBSE. ICSE and ISC have a loyal following, a smaller group take the IB or Cambridge IGCSE, and the Board of School Education Haryana conducts the state's Class 10 and Class 12 exams. The senior accounting papers compare like this.

Senior-school accounting on the boards Faridabad students sit
BoardClass 11Class 12Worth knowing
CBSE Accountancy (055)Theoretical framework (12), the accounting process (44), sole-proprietor statements (24), project (20)Partnership (36), companies (24), then a 20-mark option; project file and viva (20)Computerised Accounting is compulsory in Class 11, optional in Class 12
ISC Accounts (858)Journal to final accounts, plus incomplete records and non-trading organisationsPartnership and company accounts (60), then Section B or C (20)Two 10-mark projects in each class
ISC Commerce (857)A descriptive companion subject on business, trade, finance and marketingWritten answers, not ledgers
Cambridge IGCSE (0452) and AS & A Level (9706)IGCSE: multiple-choice and structured papers. A Level: financial accounting, and a separate cost and management accounting paperA Level can be taken in one series or staged over two years
Haryana board (BSEH)A commerce stream in the senior classes, examined to the board's own syllabus and pattern, in Hindi or English mediumCheck bseh.org.in for the current syllabus

The IB Diploma has no separate accounting course. Our national accountancy home tutor guide explains each board's units and papers in detail. For help across every subject on a board, see our CBSE tutors in Faridabad and ICSE and ISC tutors in Faridabad.

Three Class 11 chapters where students stall

The accounting process unit carries 44 of the 80 CBSE Class 11 theory marks, and three chapters inside it often cause mid-year trouble, even for students who coped well with the journal and ledger. Each has a specific fix a tutor can teach, and each is worth settling before the half-yearly exam.

Class 11 sticking points and how a tutor approaches them
ChapterWhy students stallThe tutor's approach
Bank reconciliation statementThe same cheque looks different in the cash book and the pass book, and students lose track of which side they are onTake every item in turn and ask which record already shows it and which does not
DepreciationStraight line and written down value get mixed up, and part-year charges go wrongCount the months first, write the method at the head of the page, then build the asset account
Rectification of errorsStudents write a correcting entry before deciding whether the error touched the trial balanceClassify the error first; only then decide whether a suspense account is involved

None of these needs a new textbook. Each needs a habit repeated until it is automatic, which is exactly what a weekly one-to-one lesson with set practice in between provides. A tutor will usually return to all three again in the weeks before the final exam, because they feed straight into final accounts.

A partnership example: admitting a new partner

Partnership accounts are the biggest unit in CBSE Class 12, and admission questions are where many students first feel lost. A tutor breaks one down into small, checkable steps. Suppose A and B share profits in the ratio 3:2, and C is admitted for a one-fifth share, which A and B give up in their old ratio.

  1. What is left for A and B? Four-fifths, still shared 3:2, so A gets 12/25 and B gets 8/25.
  2. The new ratio. C's one-fifth is 5/25, so the new ratio of A, B and C is 12:8:5.
  3. The sacrificing ratio. Because A and B gave up their shares in their old ratio, it is 3:2.
  4. Goodwill. If the firm's goodwill is valued at ₹50,000, C's share is ₹10,000, credited to A and B as ₹6,000 and ₹4,000.

Only after these four lines does the student touch the journal, the revaluation account or the capital accounts. Students who skip straight to entries tend to reverse the sacrificing and gaining ratios; students who write these lines first as working notes rarely do, and keep part marks even when a later figure slips.

Accountancy and Business Studies: one tutor or two?

CBSE commerce students usually take Business Studies (054) alongside accountancy. The two meet in places, since shares and debentures appear in both, but they reward different habits: accountancy wants exact figures and formats, Business Studies wants relevant points in the right terms, applied to a case. A tutor who teaches both saves a second timetable, but only makes sense if they are genuinely strong in each. If accountancy is the subject that is slipping, a tutor focused on it is usually the better use of the budget; tell us which subject needs the most help when you write in.

CUET (UG) Accountancy

The NTA's CUET (UG) 2026 information bulletin lists Accountancy / Book Keeping as domain subject 301: 50 questions, all compulsory, in 60 minutes, based on NCERT's Class 12 syllabus. Board preparation provides the content; a few weeks of timed objective practice after the board chapters are secure provide the speed. The NTA releases a new bulletin every cycle, so check the one for your child's year.

How tutors reach each part of Faridabad

Our Faridabad page divides the city into seven zones. Each shortlist starts with tutors living in your zone, then tutors who travel there, then the rest of the city, then online.

The Violet Line side

NIT Faridabad, in the NIT and Old Faridabad zone, is narrow lanes with no society gates, so a tutor rings the bell but may hunt for parking near the markets. In the central sectors along Mathura Road, Sector 16 has roomy houses and a busy market, with Old Faridabad station close by.

The north and the hills

Sector 28 has its own station in the Sectors 28–31 and 37 zone, so a tutor from south Delhi can skip the Mathura Road border queues by train. Sector 43, in the Surajkund and Sainik Colony zone, has no metro, so tutors take an auto up or ride a two-wheeler.

Ballabhgarh and across the canal

Ballabhgarh, in the Ballabhgarh and southern sectors zone, has the Violet Line terminus; factory shift changes are the timing issue. Sector 77, in Greater Faridabad (Sectors 75–80), is large gated townships across the canal, where a metro rider needs an auto for the last leg.

Read more in our NIT and central Faridabad guide and Greater Faridabad (Neharpar) guide.

Home or online: which suits accountancy?

The strongest case for home lessons is Class 11, when the tutor needs to watch each entry being written and stop a wrong posting at once. In the central sectors, where the metro brings tutors close to the door, that is usually easy to arrange. Across the canal, where evening traffic on the bridges and Kheri Road can double a journey, many families pair a weekend home session with a midweek online one, ideally with a tutor who already lives or teaches in Neharpar.

Online lessons work when the notebook is clearly on camera and homework photos arrive ahead of the lesson. For Computerised Accounting or ISC Section C, a shared spreadsheet makes online the natural choice. Families can always ask for home tuition first; online is simply there to widen the shortlist.

What a good accountancy demo shows

  • The tutor asked for board, class and the Class 12 option, and the medium for Haryana board students.
  • Your child did most of the writing.
  • Mistakes were found through questions rather than corrections.
  • Working notes and formats were treated as non-negotiable.
  • The tutor explained why, not only how.
  • Project or practical work came up, with the work kept your child's own.
  • A specific task was set for the week, with a way to check it.

If the demo falls short, tell us and the next tutor on the shortlist takes one. Switching later is free.

Fees and next steps

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fees, shown on your shortlist; our Faridabad home tuition fees guide explains the range.

Send the class, board, medium, chapters, sector, times and budget. Tutors who join go through an ID check, and you book a free demo class with the tutor you prefer. Commerce students usually need economics too; see our economics tutors in Faridabad. We also match English, maths and science tutors in Faridabad. Not yet in Class 11? Accountancy Home Tutor in Faridabad: common questions

How much does an accountancy home tutor charge in Faridabad?

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own rates, and you see each one on your shortlist before the free demo.

We live in Neharpar. Will a tutor cross the canal for evening classes?

You can request one. Kheri Road and the canal bridges clog in the evening, so a tutor who already lives or teaches in Greater Faridabad is easier to schedule on weekdays. Many families combine a weekend home session with a midweek online lesson to keep the same tutor.

Can a tutor teach Haryana board accountancy?

Ask for it in your request. The Board of School Education Haryana sets its own syllabus and paper pattern, and schools may teach in Hindi or English. Share the current syllabus from bseh.org.in and tell us the medium, so the tutor teaches what your child will actually be examined on.

Is it easier to find a tutor near Mathura Road?

Travel is simpler there. Several Violet Line stations sit inside or beside the central sectors, so a tutor coming by metro often walks or takes a short auto to your door. Families anywhere in Faridabad can request home tuition, and online lessons widen the choice wherever travel is harder.

My child is struggling with partnership admission questions. What helps?

A fixed order of working. A tutor teaches your child to write the new ratio, the sacrificing ratio and the goodwill share as working notes before any journal entry, then revaluation, reserves and capitals. Practised every week, this stops reversed ratios and keeps part marks when a later figure slips.

Can the same tutor handle ISC Accounts and ISC Commerce?

Some tutors teach both, but they are different subjects: Accounts is numerical, Commerce is descriptive. Tell us which one needs more help. For ISC Accounts in Class 12, also tell us whether your child takes Section B or Section C, since they need quite different preparation.

Is the first class free, and are tutors checked?

Yes, the first class with the tutor you choose is a free demo, and switching later is free. Tutors who join go through an ID check: a one-time code on phone or email and a government photo ID that our team reviews before the profile is marked Verified.
