Tutors who join go through an ID check. Tell us the class, board and your area: we share two or three matched tutors, each with their fee, and the first class is a free demo, at home or online.
Book a free demo classAcross NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Faridabad is long and divided. The Violet Line runs down one side of the city, the Agra canal cuts off the newer sectors of Neharpar, and the Surajkund side climbs away from any station. A tutor who is a perfect fit for your child can still be a long, slow trip away at six in the evening, whatever the map suggests. Online tuition does not replace a good home tutor, but it lets you choose on teaching quality first and geography second. This guide from the NXTutors Academic Team explains when a screen serves a Faridabad student well, when a home visit is still worth the wait, how to arrange online lessons through NXTutors, how to set up the desk, and how to combine both with one tutor.
You live across the canal. Greater Faridabad has no metro station, the planned FNG link over the canal is not open, and every trip from the old city funnels through crossings such as Kheri Road that clog in the evening. A tutor from Sector 15 who has to reach Sector 83 three times a week will struggle to stay on time. Our zone pages for Sectors 75–80 and Sectors 81–89 describe the routes.
The subject is specialised. IB Higher Level maths, Cambridge IGCSE or A Level sciences, ISC electives, or a Haryana board Senior Secondary subject taught in your child's medium: the right person may not live in your zone. Online widens the search to tutors across India. Our IB and IGCSE pages for Faridabad describe what to look for.
You are up the hill. On the Surajkund and Sainik Colony side, the metro stops below and the last stretch depends on an auto or a two-wheeler. The Surajkund–Badkhal Road fills at school and college timings, and the crafts mela each February crowds the area. Screen lessons keep the routine going on those days.
Coaching ends late. A Class 11 or 12 student back from a JEE or NEET batch at eight can manage a focused session online at nine; no tutor will travel at that hour. Our JEE and NEET pages for Faridabad explain how tutoring fits around coaching.
Most of these fade with time. Once routines settle or a board-changer catches up, moving some lessons online is usually easy.
| Student and situation | Format | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Primary child with a tutor in the same or next sector | Home | Hands-on help after a short trip |
| Class 9 or 10 student near a Violet Line station | Home, with online for doubts | Tutors along the line can come by train |
| Class 9 or 10 student in Neharpar whose chosen tutor lives in the old city | Online on weekdays, home at weekends | The canal crossing at dusk is avoided |
| Senior student with an entrance batch | Online on school nights | Late sessions are possible only on screen |
| IB, IGCSE, A Level or an ISC elective | Online | Few specialists live in any one zone |
| Family on the Surajkund side or in the southern sectors at shift-change time | Mix | A weekly visit, with screen lessons on difficult days |
| Any home arrangement in the monsoon | Home, switching to video on bad nights | The lesson happens at the usual hour either way |
Our article on home tutors and online tutors compares the two in more depth.
You may see online tutors even in a home search. Each Faridabad area page lists tutors living in that area first, then those who travel there, then the zone and the city, and then online tutors; every card states the tutor's base. An online name in a home list usually means the specialist you need does not live within easy reach. Tutors who join pass an ID check before they appear, which confirms identity, so the demo remains the test of teaching.
The setup matters most for subjects built on written steps. The tutor must see each line as it is written, not a photo of the finished page.
If none of this is happening after four to six weeks, ask the tutor directly what is in the way, or request a different tutor; the switch costs nothing.
| Subject type | Online fit | What makes it work |
|---|---|---|
| English, social science, economics, business studies | Very good | Discussion, reading and essays share easily on screen |
| Maths, physics, chemistry numericals, accountancy | Good, with the right kit | The tutor must watch working appear live, line by line |
| Biology and chemistry theory | Good | Diagrams drawn on a shared board, then redrawn by the student |
| Hindi and Sanskrit writing | Fair | A camera over the notebook so spelling and matras can be checked |
| Practical files and projects | Planning only | Discuss online; the doing happens at school and at home |
Hybrid plans suit Faridabad well because the problem is usually certain journeys at certain hours, not distance as such. A typical Neharpar week might be one long weekend session at home for a full paper and its review, and two shorter online sessions on weekday evenings for new topics and doubts, all with the same tutor. On the Surajkund side, the visit can move online during mela week; in Ballabhgarh, around a shift change. Agree at the start which sessions are home and which are online, and keep the fee per session clear for each.
Sometimes, but not by rule. Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own online rates. Some charge less online because there is no journey across the canal or along Mathura Road; specialists often charge the same either way. Fees are on the shortlist before the demo; see the pricing guide and home tuition fees in Faridabad.
Start from your own locality page, which lists nearby tutors first and online tutors after them. Sector 16 is a central sector of houses and floors beside Old Faridabad station, where parking near the market gets tight in the evening. Sector 31 holds Mewla Maharajpur station, and Sector 37 on the Delhi-border edge is served from Sarai, so both draw tutors from south Delhi as well as Faridabad. Ballabhgarh, the old market town at the end of the line, and Sector 65, with plots, floors and group housing off Mohna Road, suit a home tutor plus online help for specialist subjects. Across the canal, Sector 83 is mostly newer towers, where a hybrid plan is often the practical choice.
Send the class, board, subjects, preferred format and hours, and two or three matched tutors come back with fees. Request a free demo, open the online tutors list, or see home tutors in Faridabad. If you prefer a woman tutor, read female home tutors in Faridabad.
A screen lesson is the smarter choice in Faridabad when the journey is the problem, such as a tutor crossing the Agra canal into Neharpar at dusk. A climb to the Surajkund side without a vehicle, or a late finish after coaching, also points online. It also helps when your child needs an IB, IGCSE, ISC or other specialist from elsewhere.
Faridabad families find online tutors by choosing Online below the home-page search, or typing online in the search, such as online ISC physics class 12. The online tutors list also filters by subject, board, class, fee, experience, rating and gender. Set the Mode field to online when sending the demo request.
No, NXTutors does not give Faridabad students its own online classroom; the tutor and family agree a video app and a way to share written work. That might be a shared whiteboard, a stylus tablet or a phone pointed at the notebook. Settle it in the free first class so the tutor sees each step.
Yes, the same Faridabad tutor can visit at weekends and teach online on weekdays, and it often works well here. A typical Neharpar week is a longer weekend session at home for a full paper and its review, plus one or two shorter online sessions on weekday evenings. Agree in advance which sessions are online and the fee for each.
Online tuition is usually not suitable for Faridabad children below about Class 3 or 4, because they need someone beside them to guide a pencil and hold attention. For nursery and primary classes, a home tutor from your sector is the stronger choice, with short online sessions only when roads are blocked or the weather is bad.
A Faridabad student needs a laptop or tablet at eye level, a headset, and a way to show the page live as it is written. A stylus tablet, shared whiteboard or phone pointing down at the notebook all work. Add good light, a quiet corner and a phone hotspot as backup, with school books and the latest marked test on the desk.
For Faridabad students, English, social science, economics and business studies work very well online, because discussion and essays share easily. Maths, physics, chemistry numericals and accountancy work well with the right kit, since the tutor must watch working appear live. Hindi writing is fair with a camera over the notebook; practicals need hands-on work.
A Faridabad parent can tell online lessons are working when the child talks and writes for most of the session and the tutor corrects steps as they happen. Short tests should appear every week or two, homework should be checked, and after a month the same mistakes should stop repeating. If not, after four to six weeks, ask for a change.
To keep online lessons safe for a Faridabad child, hold them in a shared room, know the tutor's name and join the first few minutes. Use a meeting link the family controls and agree any recording in advance. Tutors who join go through an ID check, but report any concern to our team at once.
To arrange online tutors from Faridabad, send the class, board, subjects, preferred format and hours, with the Mode set to online or Either. We send two or three matched tutors, each fee shown before the first class. The first class is a free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Online is not always cheaper in Faridabad: some tutors charge less online because there is no canal crossing or Mathura Road journey, while specialists often charge the same. Fees show before the free demo.
