Chemistry home tutor in Faridabad: three branches, one board paper, and entrance tests on top

Senior chemistry asks a student to handle three quite different kinds of thinking. Physical chemistry is mostly numericals, organic chemistry is reaction logic, and inorganic chemistry is trends and exceptions. Few students struggle with all three equally. A chemistry home tutor in Faridabad earns their place by finding the branch that leaks marks, planning for the right target, whether that is the board, NEET or JEE, and getting to your sector or society on the evenings you have free. NXTutors sends two or three chemistry tutors who fit, with fees shown up front, and the first class is a free demo.

How does each branch of chemistry cost a student marks?

Of the 70 theory marks in the 2026-27 CBSE Class 12 paper, organic chemistry carries 33, physical chemistry 23 and inorganic chemistry 14. There is no chapter-wise choice, so every branch has to be ready.

  1. Organic, 33 marks. Students often learn reactions as a list and then cannot join them into a conversion. A tutor should teach the mechanism first, then have the student draw a single map linking alcohols, aldehydes, ketones, acids and amines.
  2. Physical, 23 marks. Solutions, electrochemistry and kinetics are lost to units and signs more than to ideas. Every numerical should be written out in full, with units carried through each line.
  3. Inorganic, 14 marks. The d- and f-block elements and coordination compounds feel like pure memory. They become manageable once each trend is explained, because the student can then work a fact out under pressure instead of recalling it.

A recent test paper usually shows which of the three is the weak one. Our Class 12 organic and inorganic chemistry guide goes chapter by chapter, and the national chemistry home tutor page sets out how we work across India.

What is inside the 2026-27 CBSE Class 12 chemistry paper?

Chemistry (043) has a three-hour theory paper worth 70 and 30 marks of practical work. The theory paper has 33 questions, all compulsory, with internal choice in about a third of them; calculators and log tables are not permitted. The sample paper confirms the design is unchanged from last session.

CBSE Class 12 chemistry theory paper, 2026-27: sections and how a tutor can rehearse each one
SectionQuestions and marksHow to rehearse it
A16 one-mark items, including 4 assertion–reason; 16 marksA quick mixed quiz from all ten chapters at the start of each session
B5 two-mark answers; 10 marksA balanced equation or a one-line reason, written against the clock
C7 three-mark questions; 21 marksShort numericals, named reactions and two-step conversions
D2 case-based or data-based questions; 8 marksReading a table, graph or set of values before reaching for theory
E3 five-mark questions; 15 marksMulti-part reasoning on one chapter, or a numerical with an explanation

Roughly 40% of the marks go to remembering and understanding; the other 60% reward applying, analysing and evaluating. Reactions learned without their reasons tend to fail on the data questions in Section D. The Class 12 chemistry tutor page maps out the board year.

Which chapters are out of the board paper this year?

Notes passed down from an older student can waste weeks. For 2026-27:

  • Outside the Class 12 syllabus altogether: the solid state, and p-block elements of Groups 15 to 18.
  • Assessed only in school: surface chemistry, general principles and processes of isolation of elements, polymers, and chemistry in everyday life.
  • For entrance aspirants: NEET and JEE syllabi are published separately and may still include some of these, p-block chemistry among them, so check the official list before dropping anything.

A tutor who still teaches the solid state as a board chapter has not kept up. Class 12 also leans heavily on Class 11, especially the mole concept, equilibrium and early organic chemistry; the Class 11 chemistry tutor page covers that year.

How can a home tutor help with the 30 practical marks?

The practical examination is split five ways: volumetric analysis 8 marks, salt analysis 8, a content-based experiment 6, project work 4, and the record with a viva 4. For 2026-27 the titration uses potassium permanganate, standardised against oxalic acid or Mohr's salt. All reagents, flames and apparatus stay in the school laboratory. At home, a tutor can drill the order of tests in salt analysis and the reason for each step, check that the titration calculation is set out cleanly, explain the chemistry behind the content-based experiment, help choose a project topic the student can manage alone, and rehearse viva questions such as why a particular indicator is used.

How does chemistry tuition differ for NEET and JEE?

In NEET (UG) 2026, a single three-hour pen-and-paper exam, chemistry made up 45 of 180 questions and 180 of 720 marks, with four marks for a correct answer and one deducted for a wrong one. In JEE Main 2026 Paper 1, chemistry was 25 of 75 questions, 20 multiple-choice and 5 numerical-value, under the same marking. NTA republishes the pattern every year, so check the latest bulletin.

NEET chemistry rewards quick, accurate recall of NCERT, especially in organic and inorganic chapters, so a tutor keeps the student reading the textbook closely and tests it often. JEE digs deeper into organic mechanisms and multi-step physical chemistry numericals. Either way, secure each chapter to board level first and add entrance questions in the same week. What does your locality mean for an evening chemistry class?

Chemistry at this level is written work at a table, and it only helps if the tutor arrives on time after school or coaching. The six localities below, from six different zones, show how the arrangements vary. Browse tutors by locality on our Faridabad page.

Evening chemistry tuition in six Faridabad localities: homes, the tutor's route and what to arrange
LocalityZoneHomesTutor's route and what to arrange
Dabua ColonyNIT & Old FaridabadAn established colony in Sector 50, reached at the doorstepNeelam Chowk Ajronda is among the nearer stations, then an auto; give the block and a landmark
Sector 37Sectors 28–31 & 37Houses, builder floors and some apartments on the Delhi-border edgeSarai station then a short auto ride; draws tutors from south Delhi as well as Faridabad
Sector 48Surajkund & Sainik ColonyOlder independent houses and long-established apartment blocksOld Faridabad or Badkal Mor, then an auto; most homes need no gate registration
Sector 55Ballabhgarh & Southern SectorsHouses and builder floors on HSVP plots, some low-rise flatsTwo-wheeler from Ballabhgarh, or Raja Nahar Singh metro and an auto along the Sohna Road
Sector 80Greater Faridabad (75–80)Mostly two- and three-bedroom flats in gated societiesSits between the southern and northern Neharpar sectors, so tutors from both can come; register at the gate
Sector 86Greater Faridabad (81–89)Gated societies, builder floors and some houses near the Faridabad Bypass RoadOne of the Neharpar sectors nearest the old city; Neelam Chowk Ajronda or Old Faridabad, then an auto

Where a tutor's route is uncertain, pairing two home sessions with one online session a week keeps the plan steady through the pre-board months.

Can you find ISC, IB, IGCSE or HBSE chemistry tutors in Faridabad?

Yes, though there are fewer of them than CBSE tutors, so the earlier you ask, the more choice you have.

  • ISC: a CISCE theory paper plus practical and project work, where answers need a fuller explanation than a brief NCERT-style line.
  • IB Diploma: SL or HL, built around two themes, structure and reactivity. The student alone carries out and writes up the scientific investigation; a tutor may comment on the plan but adds nothing to it.
  • After IGCSE: students joining CBSE Class 11 often need early catch-up on moles, atomic structure and basic organic chemistry.
  • HBSE: students of the Board of School Education Haryana, based in Bhiwani, should study from the board's own textbooks; its syllabus and notices are on bseh.org.in.

If no specialist can reach you, split the load: an online specialist for the course itself and a local tutor who checks written answers.

What might two weeks of chemistry tuition look like?

For a Class 12 student with two home sessions a week, a steady fortnight could run like this:

  1. Session 1: the chapter the school is on, taught to board level, closing with one-mark items and two written reasons.
  2. Session 2: numericals or a data-based question from the same chapter; entrance-level questions for NEET or JEE students.
  3. In between: the student writes one conversion chain or five equations from memory and checks them against the book.
  4. Session 3: the next chapter, plus a five-question recap of the last one.
  5. Session 4: a timed sample-paper section, scored with the official marking scheme, showing which branch still leaks marks.

Students in full-time coaching may tilt the fortnight towards doubts and timed entrance practice instead.

What do chemistry home tutors charge in Faridabad?

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fees. The target exam, the tutor's experience with it, the evening journey to your zone and the number of weekly sessions all affect the figure, and online sessions with the same tutor may be cheaper. Every shortlisted fee is shown before the demo.

How do you get matched with a chemistry tutor?

Tell us the class, the chemistry course, the target and the weak branch, plus your sector, colony or society and the evenings you have free. We send two or three matched chemistry tutors with their fees; choose one and the first class is a free demo. If it is not the right fit, we line up another tutor, and switching later is free. Where nobody suitable can travel to you, we suggest an online or hybrid plan. NXTutors also teaches online across India, from its office in Sector 66, Gurugram.

What does a chemistry home tutor in Faridabad cost?

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. How are the theory marks split between organic, physical and inorganic chemistry?

In the 2026-27 CBSE Class 12 paper of 70 marks, organic chemistry carries 33, physical 23 and inorganic 14. There is no chapter-wise choice, so no branch can be skipped. The paper has 33 compulsory questions in five sections, and the practical examination adds another 30 marks.

Which chemistry chapters are not in the 2026-27 board paper?

The solid state and the p-block elements of Groups 15 to 18 are outside the Class 12 syllabus. Surface chemistry, isolation of elements, polymers and chemistry in everyday life are assessed only in school. NEET and JEE publish their own syllabi, so entrance students should check before dropping any of these topics.

How much of NEET is chemistry?

In NEET (UG) 2026, chemistry was 45 of the 180 questions, worth 180 of the 720 marks, in a three-hour pen-and-paper exam scored +4 for a right answer and −1 for a wrong one. NTA confirms the pattern each year. Since questions follow NCERT closely, careful textbook revision pays off.

What is in the Class 12 chemistry practical exam?

Thirty marks in five parts: volumetric analysis 8, salt analysis 8, a content-based experiment 6, project work 4, and the record with a viva 4. The 2026-27 titration uses potassium permanganate against oxalic acid or Mohr's salt. A home tutor prepares the reasoning and calculations; the lab work stays in school.

Will a chemistry tutor travel to Greater Faridabad?

Yes. We match tutors across Neharpar as well as the old city. No metro line crosses the Agra canal, so tutors come by road, or by metro and then an auto. Sectors such as 86, near the old city, and 80, between the southern and northern sectors, can draw tutors from more directions.

Can you find a chemistry tutor for an HBSE or ISC student?

Yes. For the Board of School Education Haryana, we look for tutors who teach from the board's own textbooks and follow its notices on bseh.org.in. For ISC, the tutor should know the CISCE syllabus for your child's exam year. Both are scarcer than CBSE tutors, so ask early.

Can an IB student get help with the chemistry investigation?

A tutor can help an IB Diploma student understand the chemistry, sharpen a research question and comment on the plan, but the scientific investigation must remain the student's own work, and the tutor writes none of it. We match on SL or HL, and online specialists can cover any gap nearby.
