What home tuition costs in Noida

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.

Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Chemistry home tutor in Noida: Class 11 and 12, NEET and JEE

Most Class 11 and 12 students who ask for a chemistry home tutor in Noida are not weak at "chemistry"; they are weak at one of its three branches. A student may be quick with physical chemistry numericals and lost in organic conversions, or comfortable with organic and unable to hold inorganic trends in memory. The right tutor finds which branch it is before teaching anything, then works to the goal: the board paper, NEET or JEE. NXTutors shortlists two or three chemistry tutors who fit your child's course, goal and sector, and the first class is a free demo.

Which branch of chemistry is your child struggling with?

The three branches fail in different ways and need different fixes. In CBSE's 2026-27 Class 12 paper, the 70 theory marks divide by branch as shown, which is why no branch can be left to the end.

The three branches of Class 12 chemistry: symptoms, fixes and CBSE marks
BranchCBSE Class 12 theory marks (of 70)Typical symptomWhat the tutor does
Physical (solutions, electrochemistry, kinetics)23Right idea, wrong answer: units dropped, ratios read from unbalanced equationsEvery numerical written in full with units; balance first, then calculate
Inorganic (d- and f-block, coordination compounds)14Trends half-remembered, exceptions forgottenTrend first, then each exception with its reason; short, frequent recall tests
Organic (haloalkanes to biomolecules)33Reactions memorised as a list; conversions impossibleMechanisms taught as electron movement; one connected map of functional groups

Organic chemistry is nearly half the theory paper, and it is cumulative: a weak grip on Class 11 basic principles (inductive and resonance effects, reaction intermediates) makes every Class 12 organic chapter harder. For the main picture of chemistry tuition beyond Noida, see our chemistry home tutor page.

What does the 2026-27 CBSE Class 12 syllabus leave out?

The Class 12 chemistry syllabus has changed a great deal in recent years, and older guides and a senior's notes are often out of date. The board paper is 70 marks of theory plus 30 of practical work, three hours, 33 compulsory questions in five sections, with no calculators or log tables. According to the 2026-27 curriculum:

  • Assessed only formatively (in school, not in the board theory paper): surface chemistry, general principles and processes of isolation of elements, polymers, and chemistry in everyday life. Surface chemistry still appears in the practical syllabus.
  • Not in the Class 12 syllabus: the p-block elements (Groups 15 to 18) and the solid state.
  • A caution for entrance students: topics outside the board syllabus, such as p-block chemistry, may still appear in entrance syllabi. Check the current official syllabus for NEET or JEE before dropping anything.

Our CBSE Class 12 organic and inorganic chemistry guide goes through all ten chapters, and the Class 12 chemistry tutor page explains how tutors plan the board year.

Can a tutor help with titration and salt analysis?

Yes, with the reasoning and the calculations, though not with the experiments themselves. In the 2026-27 CBSE practical syllabus, volumetric analysis is the titration of potassium permanganate against a standard solution of oxalic acid or Mohr's salt, with students preparing the standard solution by weighing it themselves. Salt analysis is the identification of one cation and one anion in a given salt; insoluble salts are excluded.

Salt analysis is a logical flowchart, from preliminary tests to anion tests to cation groups, and it becomes far less frightening once a student can say why each test comes next. Titration is careful technique plus one calculation done right. A tutor should never run experiments with flames or strong reagents at home; the value is in teaching the logic, the observations to expect and the calculations, so the student uses lab time at school well.

How should chemistry be prepared for NEET and JEE?

In NEET (UG) 2026, chemistry was 45 of the 180 multiple-choice questions, worth 180 of the 720 marks, with +4 for a correct answer and −1 for a wrong one. In JEE Main 2026 Paper 1, chemistry had 25 of the 75 questions (20 multiple-choice and 5 numerical-value). Both patterns are confirmed afresh each year, so check the current NTA bulletin.

  • NEET rewards fast, accurate recall across Class 11 and 12 NCERT, with inorganic and organic facts tested closely. A tutor keeps NCERT reading line by line and tests it.
  • JEE goes deeper into physical chemistry numericals and organic mechanisms, with multi-concept questions.
  • Both reward a pattern that works: learn each chapter to board level from NCERT first, add entrance-level questions in the same week, and from December alternate board papers with entrance practice.

See our important NEET chemistry chapters and the JEE chemistry guide for how to split the syllabus.

What if your child changes board at Class 11?

  • ICSE Class 10 into CBSE or ISC. A strong base in inorganic tests and equations; the adjustment is to NCERT wording in CBSE or to ISC's longer answers.
  • IGCSE into CBSE Class 11. Expect to strengthen the mole concept, atomic structure and organic basics, which CBSE Class 11 takes further and faster.
  • CBSE or IGCSE into the IB Diploma. The IB organises chemistry around structure and reactivity and requires a scientific investigation, which a tutor may guide but must never write.

Most Noida students stay with CBSE into Class 11, but tell us about any change early; the first term is when the gap is cheapest to close.

Can a chemistry tutor reach your sector for a late slot?

Senior chemistry students often have coaching three or four evenings a week, so tuition lands late or at the weekend. What matters then is the road at that hour and how the tutor gets into your building. Browse tutors by sector on our Noida page.

Near the Mahamaya Flyover

Sector 37 (Arun Vihar) is a gated community of houses and apartment blocks close to where the expressway begins; share the tutor's name and vehicle with security in advance. Next door, Sector 44 mixes large plots, builder floors and apartments near Botanical Garden, the Blue and Magenta Line interchange. Traffic builds around the flyover at peak hours, so an earlier or weekend slot travels better.

The Sector 62 belt

Sector 56 has houses, standalone buildings and Noida Authority Janta and LIG flats, with the nearest Blue Line stations outside the sector, so tutors usually arrive by two-wheeler, auto or cab. There are no long gate formalities, but peak-hour jams are common, and a tutor already teaching in Sector 55 is often the easiest match.

On the expressway

Sector 93 ranges from gated high-rises to authority flats and plots, served by the NSEZ and Sector 83 stations; entry depends on your block. In Sector 150, public transport inside the sector is still limited, so most tutors come by two-wheeler or car, and online sessions are a sensible part of the week.

Close to Noida Extension

Sector 120 is mostly large gated societies, including one complex of more than 20 towers. Register the tutor at security with a fixed weekly slot. Evening traffic heads towards Noida Extension, so a tutor from Sector 119, 121 or 122 is usually steadier than one crossing the city.

What does a fortnight with a chemistry tutor look like?

For a Class 12 student taking two sessions a week, a well-run fortnight covers all three branches without pretending to teach everything at once:

  1. Session 1: a ten-minute recall test on last week's reactions, then one physical chemistry topic taught with full numericals.
  2. Session 2: school and coaching doubts, worked by the student with the tutor guiding, then organic conversions practised on paper.
  3. Session 3: one inorganic block (for example, coordination compounds) as trends plus reasons, then board-style short answers matched to the marks on offer.
  4. Session 4: a timed mixed test in the board or entrance style, marked together, and the next fortnight's weak spots agreed.

For NEET or JEE students already in coaching, the balance shifts towards doubts and timed questions; before the practical exam, one session goes to titration calculations and the salt analysis scheme.

When is the right time to start chemistry tuition?

The cheapest time is the first term of Class 11. The mole concept in the opening chapter underpins every numerical that follows, and organic basic principles underpin every organic chapter in Class 12; a gap in either keeps costing marks for two years. Other good moments to act:

  • the first unit test in Class 11 or 12 goes badly and your child cannot say why;
  • coaching test scores in chemistry stay flat for several tests while physics or biology improve;
  • school practicals are near and the salt analysis scheme still feels like guesswork;
  • the pre-boards are close and two or three chapters keep losing marks.

Starting late still helps, but the work shifts from understanding to repair, so tell us the chapter list and we look for a tutor with room for a short, more intensive stretch.

What does a chemistry home tutor cost in Noida?

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fees. The goal (board, NEET or JEE), the tutor's experience with it, travel at a late slot and the number of sessions a week all move the figure, and online sessions with the same tutor can cost less. You see each shortlisted tutor's fee before the demo.

Chemistry Home Tutor in Noida: common questions

How do I get a chemistry home tutor in Noida?

To get a chemistry home tutor in Noida, tell NXTutors the class, the exact course, the goal, which branch is weak, your sector and your free slots. We send two or three matched chemistry tutors, each fee shown before the first class. The first class is a free demo, and if the fit is wrong, switching later is free.

How much does a chemistry home tutor cost in Noida?

A chemistry home tutor in Noida sets their own fee, shown on the shortlist before the free demo. Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. The goal, travel at a late slot and sessions a week move the figure; online sessions with the same tutor can cost less.

Is a chemistry tutor in Noida worth it for weak organic chemistry?

Often yes, because organic carries 33 of the 70 theory marks in CBSE Class 12 chemistry, and a Noida tutor can repair the Class 11 basics it rests on. Gaps in inductive and resonance effects spread through every Class 12 organic chapter. A tutor who teaches mechanisms as electron movement, with one connected map of functional groups, turns a long list of reactions into a handful of ideas.

Is p-block chemistry in the 2026-27 CBSE Class 12 paper for Noida students?

No, the p-block elements (Groups 15 to 18) and the solid state are not in the 2026-27 CBSE Class 12 chemistry syllabus that Noida students follow. Surface chemistry and polymers are assessed only in school. These topics may still appear in entrance syllabi, so NEET and JEE students should check the current official syllabus before dropping anything.

How much chemistry is in NEET and JEE Main for a Noida student?

In 2026, chemistry was 45 of the 180 NEET (UG) questions and 25 of the 75 JEE Main Paper 1 questions, so a Noida chemistry tutor plans for both. NEET rewards fast, accurate NCERT recall, while JEE goes deeper into physical numericals and organic mechanisms. Both patterns are confirmed afresh each year, so check the current NTA bulletin.

Can a chemistry home tutor in Noida help with titration and salt analysis?

Yes, a chemistry home tutor in Noida can teach the reasoning and calculations behind titration and salt analysis, though not the experiments themselves. The CBSE titration is potassium permanganate against oxalic acid or Mohr's salt, and salt analysis identifies one cation and one anion. Nothing with flames or strong reagents should be tried at home; the lab work stays at school.

Home or online: which works for a late chemistry slot after coaching in Noida?

For a late chemistry slot after coaching in Noida, a home visit works if the tutor lives in or near your zone; otherwise online sessions keep the plan going. Late trips go more smoothly when the tutor avoids the Mahamaya Flyover or the expressway at peak hours. In gated societies, register the tutor at security once with a fixed weekly slot.

Can I find an IB, IGCSE or ISC chemistry tutor in Noida?

Yes, IB, IGCSE and ISC chemistry students in Noida are matched by exact course: ISC, IB Chemistry SL or HL, or IGCSE Chemistry Core or Extended. These specialists are fewer than CBSE chemistry tutors, so tell us early. For the IB, a tutor may guide the scientific investigation but never write it, and online sessions widen the choice.

When should a Noida student start chemistry tuition?

The easiest time for a Noida student to start chemistry tuition is the first term of Class 11, because the mole concept underpins every later numerical. Other good moments are a bad unit test your child cannot explain, coaching scores that stay flat in chemistry, or salt analysis still feeling like guesswork before practicals. Starting late still helps, but the work shifts to repair.

What does a fortnight with a chemistry tutor in Noida look like?

A fortnight with a Class 12 chemistry tutor in Noida, at two sessions a week, should cover physical, inorganic and organic chemistry plus one timed test. Sessions open with short recall tests, work through school and coaching doubts with the student solving, and end with a mixed test marked together. Before the practical exam, one session goes to titration calculations and salt analysis.
