Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Sector 73 is in the Sectors 70–82 zone of Noida, but it does not look like the tower sectors next door. Most homes are builder floors and small apartment buildings, so this guide focuses on what that changes: finding the door, parking, and timing a tutor's trip around Vikas Marg.
| What | Sector 73 |
|---|---|
| Zone | Sectors 70–82, in the lower-rise half (Sectors 70 to 73) |
| Housing | Mostly builder floors and small apartment buildings, many in and around Sarfabad village, with some independent houses |
| Nearest metro | Noida Sector 51 on the Aqua Line (about 2.2 km by a property-portal estimate), linked by walkway to Noida Sector 52 on the Blue Line; Noida Sector 50 (Aqua) and Noida Sector 61 (Blue) are a little further |
| Main roads | Vikas Marg, Vishwakarma Road, Sector 120 Main Road and Captain Shashi Kant Sharma Marg, with the road towards Greater Noida West close by |
| Where tutors usually come from | Sectors 71, 72, 74 and 75, the Sector 51–52 metro side, and online for specialist subjects |
| Boards families ask about | Families here commonly ask about CBSE and UP Board, with ICSE/ISC questions too |
| Good session windows | Straight after school, before evening traffic builds on Vikas Marg, or later once it eases; weekend mornings |
Sector 73 is one of the more reasonably priced residential pockets in this part of Noida. Property portals describe it as a growing area where housing costs less than in the central sectors, with steady demand from tenants. Reviewers call it suitable for families and for working people, and several mention reaching the Sector 62 offices quickly; the business parks listed nearby add to the number of households that rent here for work.
Sarfabad is an older village settlement that property portals list within Sector 73, and a large share of the sector's homes are in and around it. Listings there are dominated by builder floors: multi-storey buildings where each floor, or each pair of flats, is a separate home. Alongside them are small apartment buildings with names such as Aarya Apartment and Mahadev Apartments, standalone rental buildings with 1 RK and studio units, and some independent houses. Homes listed run from 1 RK and 1 BHK up to 3 BHK, and new builder-floor projects are still being added, so construction is a normal part of the street scene.
This mix shapes tuition in a few ways. There is no single clubhouse or society office; each building has its own owner or small residents' group. Many families rent, and some are new to Noida, so they may not yet know which tutors or routes work locally. And with homes from a studio to a 3 BHK, the study space ranges from a separate room to a corner of the main room, which affects session timing more than anything else.
Daily needs are close by. Reviewers mention markets, banks, clinics and hospitals within easy reach, and the shops along the village lanes mean a tutor can usually find a landmark to give directions from.
Public reviews of Sector 73 on property portals come back to a handful of themes. Each one has a plain, practical meaning for a tutor's weekly visit.
Beyond these, the questions are the usual ones: can the tutor keep the same time every week, does the tutor know my child's board, and is home or online tuition the better choice for a senior subject. The rest of this guide takes them in turn.
Sector 73 has no metro station of its own. The nearest is Noida Sector 51 on the Aqua Line, about 2.2 km away by a property-portal estimate, and it is joined to Noida Sector 52 on the Blue Line by a pedestrian walkway of about 300 metres. That makes Sector 51–52 the natural meeting point for tutors coming from either line: they ride in, then take an auto or e-rickshaw for the last stretch. Noida Sector 50 on the Aqua Line and Noida Sector 61 on the Blue Line are about 3 km away. Buses stop at Sector 71, Sector 51, Sector 52 and Parthala Bridge.
By road, the routes in and out are Vikas Marg, Vishwakarma Road, Sector 120 Main Road and Captain Shashi Kant Sharma Marg, with the road to Greater Noida West running close to the village. The zone's known bottlenecks are Vikas Marg at office hours and the Sector 71/51 crossing, and a tutor coming from the Sector 61 or Sector 51 side will usually meet one of them. We do not quote travel minutes because they depend so much on the hour; ask each tutor which way they come and when they usually pass these points.
The short rides are from the sectors around you: Sector 72 and Sector 71 on the low-rise side, and Sector 74 and Sector 75 on the tower side. A tutor who already teaches in one of these can often add a Sector 73 class the same evening without crossing a main junction.
A metro extension is planned: the Aqua Line extension from Sector 51 towards Greater Noida, approved by the government in 2024, lists stations at Noida Sector 70 and Sector 122. It is not open yet, so plan around today's stations.
Most Sector 73 homes are not in gated societies, so there is usually no visitor app or gate pass. The tutor comes straight to your building. That saves time at the start of the lesson, but finding the right door matters more.
A sector name and a map pin are often not enough in village lanes, where several buildings can look alike and numbering is not always easy to follow. Before the demo, send the building name if it has one, the floor and flat, a nearby landmark such as a shop, bank or temple, and a live location. If the building has an intercom or a caretaker, tell the tutor which bell to ring or whom to ask. Some small buildings do keep a guard or a register; if yours does, give the guard the tutor's name before the first class.
Lanes are narrow in places and parking is limited, so a tutor on a two-wheeler usually manages more easily than one in a car. Say where a scooter can stand without blocking a neighbour's gate. If your flat is on an upper floor without a lift, mention it, so the start time allows for it.
Lessons happen in the home: a study table if there is one, otherwise the dining table or a quiet corner. Keep the door open and an adult at home, especially for younger children. If you would prefer a woman tutor, say so when you ask, and we will look for a female home tutor in Noida who teaches the class and subject.
To join NXTutors, a tutor proves their phone or email with a one-time code and sends a government photo ID, which our team checks. It is an identity check, not a police or background check. Read how we check tutors, and judge the teaching yourself at the demo.
Families in Sector 73 and the Sarfabad lanes ask most about the UP Board and CBSE, with some ICSE and ISC requests. In a builder floor or a studio, the local twist is practical: the lesson shares a room with the household, and many families are renters new to Noida.
Our guide to the four main school boards sets out how they differ.
Short sessions of 45 minutes to an hour, several days a week, suit young children. In a smaller flat, pick one fixed spot, keep the television off during the lesson and keep siblings busy elsewhere. An after-school slot, before the evening traffic and before the lane gets noisy, often works well.
This is when Maths and Science start to need steady weekly work. Many families choose one tutor for both, and a maths tutor at home in Noida is the most common request at this stage. For UP Board students, check that the tutor is comfortable in the medium your child studies in. A weekly check of the school notebook lets the tutor match homework and class tests.
Board planning starts in Class 9. In a Sarfabad floor, two or three sessions of about 90 minutes a week fit a lesson and a timed question. For CBSE, plan around the main Class 10 exam first; for UP Board High School, follow the board's own timetable and practise in the exam's medium. Our Class 10 tuition in Noida page covers this year in depth.
Families usually move to one tutor per subject. Where an entrance exam is also in view, some keep a home tutor for board work and add an online teacher for the entrance side. In a builder floor with a shared main room, a weekend morning block can be quieter and easier to protect than a weekday evening.
Exams for most Sector 73 students land early in the calendar year, and CBSE adds a Class 10 improvement sitting in May. The UP Board's High School and Intermediate timetable goes up on upmsp.edu.in, and the other boards post theirs on their own sites. Forwarded messages are not a source for dates. Fix with the tutor early which weeks become revision-only, and whether an exam-week evening, or a wet one in the lanes, should switch online.
Home tuition suits Sector 73 because your child stays off the evening roads and you can watch the teaching. The trade-off is that the tutor has to cross the same roads, and a builder-floor lane adds a little time at each end.
Online classes remove travel completely, which helps during the monsoon, in exam weeks and for subjects where the right specialist lives far away. They need a quiet corner and a steady connection; in a busy flat, headphones help. See online tuition for Noida students for how it works.
A coaching centre means your child makes the trip, often across Vikas Marg or the Sector 71/51 crossing at the busiest time of day. One workable pattern here: home visits once or twice a week for school subjects, with a specialist subject moved online.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Each tutor's own fee is on NXTutors before the demo.
What moves the fee is the class and board, the subject, the session length and how many sessions a week you want. Travel matters too: a tutor who already teaches in Sector 72, 71, 74 or 75 has a short ride, while one coming across Vikas Marg at peak hour from further away may ask for a longer minimum session or a higher fee to make the trip worthwhile. Fixing two classes back to back, for siblings or for two subjects, can make one trip go further.
To see the month's cost, take the hourly fee, times hours per session, times sessions that month. Before regular classes start, ask how holidays, cancelled sessions and extra pre-exam classes are counted.
Reviewers say green space inside Sector 73 is limited, and we could not find a public library in the sector. Ved Van Park in neighbouring Sector 78 is a larger park with walking trails, good for a break between revision blocks. A property listing mentions a community centre in Block E of Sector 72; ask locally about access and timings before relying on it. For focused study, most families use a quiet corner at home.
All but Sector 122 are in the Sectors 70–82 zone; the zone guide compares the low-rise sectors with the tower ones.
Each link opens the Noida page for that board, subject or class. Tell us you are in Sector 73 and we look for tutors who can reach you, or teach online.
AI-first tutoring, with real teachers
You tell us the class, board, subject and where in Sector 73 you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Where AI stops and people start
Move out to the wider area or in to nearby sectors. Tutors usually travel short distances, so the closest areas are the most useful places to look.
Distances are straight-line estimates between sector centres from OpenStreetMap data; the road route is usually longer.

Few subjects reward a good teacher as much as Physics. A clear explanation of one idea, worked through slowly, can change how a student in Sector 73 feels about the whole chapter. So when you ask us for help, tell us where the confusion starts, not just the subject name.
Sector 73 sits within Sectors 70–82, a zone with eleven NXTutors pages. Tutors who live in Sector 73 or travel here appear first. Next you see tutors from elsewhere in the zone, such as Sector 70 or Sector 74, then other Noida sectors, then home tutors from Delhi or Ghaziabad, with online teachers, first from Uttar Pradesh and then from the rest of the country, at the end. A short note on every card tells you why it is shown.
For IB or IGCSE students, mention the course and which year your child is in, so we suggest tutors who teach that programme and not only Class 10 or Class 12 board work. For JEE practice, an online specialist can complement a home tutor. Two or three tutors are suggested for each request, and the fee is shown before a free first class. Use the demo to bring one problem your child could not solve, and see how the tutor guides them through it.
