Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Sector 72 is one of the low-rise sectors at the western end of the Sectors 70–82 zone of Noida. Most homes here are plotted houses and builder floors, so this guide is about what that means for tuition: finding the right house on the first visit, the Aqua Line station at Sector 51, the evening build-up on Vikas Marg, and lessons in a floor rather than a tower flat.
| What | Sector 72 |
|---|---|
| Zone | Sectors 70–82, in the low-rise group of Sectors 70 to 73 |
| Housing | Plotted blocks (A to E) with independent houses and builder floors, plus small apartment buildings and studio flats; Sarfabad village lies alongside |
| Nearest metro | Noida Sector 51 on the Aqua Line, about 1 km away by a property-portal estimate; Noida Sector 52 on the Blue Line, joined to Sector 51 by a footpath link, a little further; the Aqua Line station at Sector 50 is on Vishwakarma Road |
| Main roads | Vikas Marg, Vishwakarma Road, Sector 51 Main Road and Captain Shashi Kant Sharma Marg |
| Where tutors usually come from | The neighbouring low-rise sectors (70, 71, 73), Sectors 50–52 across the road, the metro corridors, and online for specialist subjects |
| Boards families ask about | Families here commonly ask about CBSE, with ICSE/ISC, UP Board and some IB and Cambridge IGCSE questions |
| Good session windows | Late afternoon before the office rush reaches the Sector 51 junction, later evening once Vikas Marg has eased, and weekend mornings |
Sector 72 is a plotted sector rather than a tower sector. Property portals divide it into Blocks A to E, and listings for the sector are mostly independent houses and builder floors in sizes from a single room to four bedrooms and more. Residential plots of around 300 and 450 square metres are advertised for resale, and many of these plots have been built up as floors, so one house can hold two or three families on different storeys.
Alongside the floors there are small apartment buildings with their own names. Portals list buildings such as Krishna Apartment, Silver Heaven Parkend Apartment, Natures Sai Residency and Capital Metro Height, a builder-floor project, ranging from studio flats to three-bedroom homes. They are small compared with the gated towers of Sectors 74 to 79. M3M The Line, a mixed-use project of studios and shops registered with UP RERA, is under construction in the sector.
Sarfabad, one of Noida's older villages, sits next to Sector 72 and Sector 73, and its lanes are lined with builder floors and small rental flats. Portals also show steady rental demand, so owner families in their own houses live alongside tenants in floors and studio flats.
Work is close by. NoBroker's locality page lists business parks such as Stellar IT Park and Embassy Galaxy Business Park among the nearby employment hubs, and the Sector 62 office belt is a short drive away. Many parents here have office hours that end in the evening rush, so a tuition slot often has to fit around one parent getting home.
For tuition, the housing type matters. In an independent house there may be a spare room on the ground floor. In a builder floor or studio, the study table or dining table is the usual spot, and a regular time when the home is quiet matters more than the room itself.
Public reviews of Sector 72 on property portals are mostly about everyday living, and each theme has a practical meaning for tuition.
Reviews also describe the sector as planned and calm, with wide roads, green cover and kept-up parks. With fewer gate formalities and shorter distances inside the sector, a regular weekly slot is often easier to set up here than in a big society. The common questions remain the same: will the tutor keep the same time every week, does the tutor know your child's board, and does a senior subject need a home tutor or an online specialist?
Sector 72 has no metro station inside it, but it sits close to Noida's main interchange area. Noida Sector 51, in Block E of Sector 51, is the northern end of the Aqua Line and about a kilometre away by a property-portal estimate. Across the road, Noida Sector 52 on the Blue Line is linked to it by a pedestrian walkway. A tutor from almost anywhere on the Blue Line, from the Delhi side through Sector 34 to the Sector 61–62 stations, or from the Aqua Line stations towards Greater Noida, can ride in and finish the trip by e-rickshaw, auto or on foot.
The Aqua Line station at Sector 50 is the next Aqua Line stop south and stands on Vishwakarma Road. Depending on your block, a tutor coming from Sector 76 or Sector 101 may find the Sector 50 station just as convenient as Sector 51.
By road, the main routes are Vikas Marg, Vishwakarma Road, Sector 51 Main Road and Captain Shashi Kant Sharma Marg, the road Sector 52 station stands on. The slow points in reviews are the Sector 51 junction at peak hours and Vikas Marg in the evening; zone reviews also mention the Sector 71/51 crossing. A tutor driving in from the Sector 61–62 side or from the expressway side will meet one of these at rush time.
The shortest rides are from the low-rise sectors next door. Sectors 70, 71 and 73 border Sector 72, and Sector 75, on the edge of the tower belt, is close by. A tutor who already teaches in one of them can often add a Sector 72 class on the same evening. We do not give travel minutes because they change so much with the time of day; ask each tutor which route and which station they will use.
One habit saves the most time here: send the tutor your block letter, house or plot number and floor, and a pinned map location. In a plotted sector, house numbers do not always run in an obvious order, and a pin is more useful than the name of a nearby shop.
Because most of Sector 72 is houses and floors, there is usually no society security desk to pass. The tutor comes straight to your door, which makes the first visit simpler but puts the job of finding the house on you. Before the demo, send the full address with block, plot or house number and floor, and say whether the entrance is at the front, the side or up a shared staircase.
In a builder floor, several families share one entrance. Tell the tutor which bell or floor is yours, and for an upper floor, whether there is a lift. The small named apartment buildings in the sector may have a guard or a visitor register at the entrance. If yours does, tell the guard the tutor's name and the usual day before the first class.
Lessons usually happen in the living room, the child's room or at the dining table. For a floor that faces a main road, choose the quietest room, even if it is small. Keep an adult at home through every lesson, especially for younger children, and leave the door of the room open.
If you would prefer a woman tutor, say so in your request; if one is free for your class, subject and time, NXTutors will put a female home tutor in Noida on your list. Each tutor on NXTutors has passed an ID check, made up of a one-time code sent to their phone or email and a government photo ID that our team reviews. This is an identity check, not a police or background check. You can read how tutors are checked, and the free demo is your chance to judge the teaching yourself.
In Sector 72's houses and builder floors, the board questions are mostly CBSE, ICSE/ISC and UP Board, with a few for IB or Cambridge IGCSE. What changes locally is less the syllabus than the setting: lessons in a shared-entrance floor, and a metro interchange that lets a specialist ride in.
For how the boards compare on syllabus and assessment, read our CBSE vs ICSE vs IB vs IGCSE guide.
Young children do well with short sessions of about 45 minutes to an hour, three or four times a week. In a builder floor, where the living room may also be the family room, agree on a time when the television is off and siblings are elsewhere. A fixed small table and a box for books help a young child settle each time. Many families here prefer a tutor from a sector next door at this age, so the slot can move a little when school timings change.
These years build the habits that Classes 9 and 10 depend on. A single tutor for Maths and Science suits many children, with English or Hindi added if the school reports call for it. Ask the tutor to check the school notebook and the last test, not only the textbook. A home maths tutor in Noida is the request we hear most at this stage, often twice a week.
Expect longer visits now, often near 90 minutes and two or three a week: enough to teach a topic, then time one question. For CBSE Class 10, plan the year around the main exam and treat the May sitting as an option, not a second target. ICSE students have more subjects to manage, and UP Board students need practice in the medium they will write in. See Class 10 home tuition in Noida for this stage.
Most families move to one tutor per subject: Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, Accountancy, Economics or Business Studies. A specialist may live far from Sector 72, and the metro interchange nearby helps: a tutor on the Blue or Aqua Line can reach you without the evening drive. Where an entrance exam is also planned, families often keep a home tutor for the school board and add online classes for the entrance side.
Sector 72 students mostly face their board papers early in the calendar year; CBSE's optional Class 10 improvement sitting follows in May. Each board posts its own timetable on its website, linked in the sources below, and those pages are the only ones to trust for dates. Roughly two months out, agree with the tutor when lessons turn to revision and past papers, and whether extra sessions will be needed. In those weeks the main thing to plan around is the evening rush at the Sector 51 junction.
Home tuition suits Sector 72 well. There is usually no gate to clear, the tutor comes to the door, and you can watch how your child is taught. The limit is the route: a tutor driving in at rush hour meets the Sector 51 junction or Vikas Marg, so the slot has to fit their journey.
A coaching centre puts the travelling on your child. Sector 72's closeness to the Sector 51–52 metro pair makes that easier than from many sectors, but a teenager still has to cross the same busy junctions in the evening, and the time spent travelling comes out of study time.
Online classes remove the travel completely. They suit monsoon evenings, the weeks just before exams, and senior subjects where the right specialist lives on the other side of Delhi NCR. Look at online tuition for Noida students for those cases. Sector 72 families often combine them, with the home tutor taking school subjects once or twice a week and an online class covering one specialist subject.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors price their own lessons, shown before the free demo.
What changes the fee here: the class and board, the subject, how long each session runs, and how many sessions there are each week. Travel counts too. A tutor from Sector 70, 71 or 73 has a short ride. A tutor who has to cross the Sector 51 junction at rush hour, or come from well outside the zone, may ask for a slightly higher fee or a longer minimum session to make the journey worth it.
Your monthly total is simply the hourly fee, multiplied by session hours, multiplied by how many sessions fall in the month. Ask up front what happens on festival holidays, when either side cancels, and when extra pre-exam sessions are added.
Sector 72 is divided into blocks, and NoBroker's locality page lists small parks such as B Block Park and E Block Park among the green spaces near the sector. They suit a short walk between revision sessions, not focused study. We could not find a public library or a community study room in Sector 72 itself. For focused work, most families use a quiet room at home, and on noisy days an online session from a quiet corner can work better than a home visit.
All of these are in the Sectors 70–82 zone. The zone guide explains how the low-rise sectors around Sector 72 differ from the tower sectors to the south.

AI-first tutoring, with real teachers
You tell us the class, board, subject and where in Sector 72 you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Where AI stops and people start
Move out to the wider area or in to nearby sectors. Tutors usually travel short distances, so the closest areas are the most useful places to look.

Sector 72 has its own page on NXTutors, so the first names you see here belong to people who live in Sector 72 or have said they will travel to it. That is a good place to begin, whatever the subject: JEE Maths, ISC Accountancy, or early help with reading and number work.
If your child is on the IB programme or studying for ICSE or ISC, tell us which, and which subjects feel heaviest. For a specialist subject, you might choose online lessons with someone who teaches it every week, while a home tutor keeps school topics on track. You get two or three suggestions per request, and the first class with any of them is free.
Beyond tutors for Sector 72 itself, the page shows those from other parts of Sectors 70–82, a zone of eleven pages that includes Sector 70, Sector 73 and Sector 74. Then come tutors from all over Noida, home tutors living in Greater Noida, and online teachers. Every card gives its reason in a line. When you speak to a tutor, ask how they track progress and how often they will update you.
