What home tuition costs in Noida

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.

Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Home tutors in Sector 74, Noida: the short answer

Yes. A home tutor can come to your flat in Sector 74, whether you live in one of the Supertech Capetown towers, Ajnara Grand Heritage or a smaller building in the sector. Sector 74 is part of the Sectors 70–82 zone of Noida. This guide covers what is different here: a very large township with many towers and gates, the Noida Sector 50 Aqua Line station a short way off, and the Sector 71/51 crossing that shapes tutor timings.

Who lives in Sector 74: a township of towers

Sector 74 is a sector of tall towers. Property portals describe it as almost entirely gated high-rise societies with parks, internal roads and daily shops within walking distance, and it forms one continuous residential cluster with Sectors 75, 76 and 77. Most children here live in a flat several floors up, inside a society with its own guards, clubhouse and play areas.

What sets Sector 74 apart is scale. Supertech Capetown is a township rather than a single society: listings describe it as spread over many acres with dozens of towers, and Supertech built several named projects inside and beside it, including Cape Luxe, Crown Town, the ORB towers and the North Eye high-rise. Listings disagree on the exact acreage and tower count, so we do not repeat a number, but the practical point is clear. Two families in "Capetown" can be a long walk apart, behind different gates.

Residents' reviews praise the internal roads, upkeep, greenery and security, and mention a Residents' Welfare Association that is active. They also note shops, chemists, vegetable sellers and food delivery close at hand, and that the sector lanes themselves carry little traffic. Work hubs in commuting range include the Sector 62 IT belt, the Noida Special Economic Zone and the business parks along the expressway side, so many parents fit tuition around office hours. Spectrum Metro, a large high-street shopping and food complex in Sector 75 next to the Sector 50 metro station, is the nearest big commercial landmark.

Societies in Sector 74

These are the main projects that property portals, news reports and Wikipedia place in Sector 74. Portals give conflicting tower and unit counts, so only the plainer facts are listed.

  • Supertech Capetown (Supertech): the large township at the heart of the sector, with 2, 3 and 4 BHK flats, a clubhouse, pool and gym; listed as ready to move.
  • Supertech Cape Luxe (Supertech): 3 BHK flats, named in news coverage as part of the Capetown development.
  • Supertech Crown Town (Supertech): another ready-to-move phase, listed with 2, 3 and 4 BHK flats.
  • Supertech ORB (Supertech): launched in 2011 as three circular towers within the Capetown development.
  • Supertech North Eye (Supertech): a very tall residential tower that Wikipedia lists as under construction, with 66 floors planned.
  • Supertech Ritz Chateaux (Supertech): a villa project in the sector, with large 6 BHK homes.
  • Ajnara Grand Heritage (Ajnara group): a separate society of about 14 towers, mainly 2 and 3 BHK flats, with a clubhouse and pool.
  • Ajnara Klock Tower (Ajnara group): a smaller Ajnara project listed with 3 BHK flats.

Property portals also list a handful of smaller apartment buildings with 1 and 2 BHK flats. For tuition, the housing mix matters: a villa or a larger flat often has a room that can be kept for study, while in a compact flat the session usually happens at the dining table, and the timing has to suit the whole household.

Which tutor fits your child?

What Sector 74 parents weigh up

Locality reviews of Sector 74 on property portals keep returning to a handful of points. None of them rules out home tuition; they shape the plan.

  • The Sector 71/51 crossing at peak hours. The bottleneck that reviewers name most is the intersection at Sector 71/51, and some add that the sector's entry point gets congested during office hours. A tutor coming from the Sector 61 or Sector 52 side passes close to it, so a slot set just before or after the office rush is easier to keep week after week.
  • Fast traffic outside the gates. Reviewers say cars move quickly on the roads just outside the sector gates, which makes walking awkward, and that horns from the main roads carry inside. For a younger child walking down to meet a tutor, or a tutor walking in from the metro, that is worth knowing. Meeting the tutor at your tower lobby rather than the main road is simpler.
  • Autos for trips outside the sector. Some reviews mention high auto fares for rides beyond Sector 74, and that daily movement depends on private vehicles. A tutor who comes by metro may walk the last stretch or use an e-rickshaw; ask how they plan to reach you, especially for a late slot.
  • Visitor parking. Limited visitor parking near commercial complexes, and parking rules that change often, come up in reviews. Tell the tutor where a two-wheeler or car can wait inside your society.
  • Dust and a busy feel. A few reviewers mention dusty open plots on windy days and say the area feels more crowded than before. A closed room with the windows shut makes long revision sessions more comfortable.

Reviews also point the other way: residents describe the sector as safe for families, with tight security, good drainage and clean roads. Parents already used to approving guests at the gate tend to find a tutor's weekly visit easy to set up.

How a tutor reaches Sector 74

Sector 74 has no metro station inside it. The closest is Noida Sector 50 on the Aqua Line, an elevated station on Vishwakarma Road, which a property portal puts about 1.2 km from the sector; Noida Sector 76 on the same line is about 1.6 km away. The Aqua Line runs from Noida Sector 51, where it connects on foot with the Blue Line's Noida Sector 52 station, through Sector 50 and Sector 76 towards Greater Noida. A tutor living near either line can ride to Sector 50 and cover the rest by e-rickshaw or on foot, and residents mention a bus stop near the Capetown side as well.

By road, the routes in are Vikas Marg, Vishwakarma Road and Dadri Main Road, with the FNG Expressway reachable for tutors coming from further away. The place to watch is the Sector 71/51 crossing at peak hours, along with the sector's own entry point when office traffic builds. We do not quote travel minutes for these routes because they vary so much with the hour; ask each tutor which way they will come and when they usually pass that crossing.

The shortest rides are from next door. Sector 75 shares the Sector 50 station edge, Sector 77 and Sector 78 are part of the same tower belt, and Sector 73 lies on the other side. A tutor who already teaches in one of these sectors can often add a Sector 74 student on the same afternoon or evening.

Inside the township, the last few hundred metres matter more than usual. Give the tutor your project name (Capetown, Cape Luxe, Crown Town or Ajnara Grand Heritage), the gate number and the tower, not only "Sector 74". In a complex this size, the wrong gate can eat into the lesson.

Gate passes, where lessons happen, and safety

Almost every home in Sector 74 sits behind a society gate, and the bigger complexes have more than one. The guard will usually ask a resident to approve a visitor, either through a visitor app or by phone. Before the free demo, pre-approve the tutor by name and phone number, and tell them which gate to use. Once you decide to continue, ask your society or tower office how to set up a regular entry for the agreed days, so each class does not begin with a wait at the barrier.

Share your tower, floor and flat number, and say whether the tutor can take a lift straight up or needs to sign in again at the tower lobby. Some large townships have a second check at the tower; if yours does, mention it.

Most sessions here happen inside the flat, at a study desk or the dining table. Clubhouses are common in the Capetown and Ajnara societies, but whether a private lesson can be held in a clubhouse room is a matter of each society's rules, so ask your RWA or society office before you plan on it. Wherever the class happens, keep an adult at home and the door of the study room open, particularly for younger children.

If you prefer a woman tutor, say so in your request; we look for a woman home tutor in Noida who teaches your class and subject. NXTutors ID-checks tutors when they join, through a one-time code to their phone or email plus a government photo ID our team inspects. It is an identity check, not a police or background check. See how we check tutors, and judge the teaching itself at the demo.

Boards Sector 74 families ask about, and what changes for a tutor

Sector 74's township flats bring a wide spread of board questions: CBSE and ICSE/ISC most often, then IB, Cambridge IGCSE and, in some homes, UP Board. What changes here is mostly logistics: a specialist has to get through a large complex's gates, and many parents commute, so the board decides how far you may need to look.

  • CBSE: the year still builds to the main Class 10 exam; a short, focused stretch may follow if your child sits the May improvement exam. Our CBSE tutors in Noida page goes further.
  • ICSE and ISC: the council sets the English literature and second-language texts, so pass the prescribed-books list to the tutor early. At ISC, families usually want a specialist per main subject.
  • IB and IGCSE: bring the subject guide or syllabus code to the demo. For higher-level IB or senior IGCSE, some Capetown and Ajnara families pair a home tutor with an online specialist.
  • UP Board: say Hindi or English medium at the start; it decides the books and answer practice.

To compare the boards themselves, see our which-board guide for parents.

By class band: home sessions in a Sector 74 flat

Nursery to Class 5

Young children do well with short, regular sessions of 45 minutes to an hour, three or four times a week. In a high-rise flat, choose a spot away from the balcony door and the television, with a small table at the right height. Many Sector 74 children head to the society play area in the evening, so a class soon after school and a snack, before play time, tends to hold their attention. An adult at home is a must at this age.

Classes 6 to 8

Maths and Science get harder in these years, and a steady weekly routine matters more than long sessions. One tutor for Maths and Science suits many children, with English or a second language added as needed. Hand over the school notebook and test copies weekly, so tuition follows the class. A home maths tutor in Noida is what most families ask for first at this stage.

Classes 9 and 10

Planning for the board exam starts in Class 9. CBSE families now plan for the main Class 10 exam with the improvement exam as a back-up, while ICSE students carry a wider spread of subjects. Two or three ninety-minute visits a week let the tutor cover a topic and then watch your child try a question against the clock. See our Class 10 home tuition in Noida page for more on this year.

Classes 11 and 12

Most families move to one tutor per subject: Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, Accountancy or Economics. With an entrance exam in view, hours go up, and some homes keep a home tutor for board work and add an online teacher for entrance practice. With both parents commuting, a weekend morning block is often the easiest slot to protect.

Exam season for Sector 74 students

Board papers for most Sector 74 students arrive early in the calendar year, with CBSE's second Class 10 sitting in May and IB and Cambridge running their own sessions. Each board posts its timetable on its own website, linked in our sources; a forwarded message is not enough. Well ahead, agree with the tutor when lessons switch to revision and past papers, whether to add sessions in the last month, and which gate entry will cover any extra days.

Home, online or a coaching centre from Sector 74

Home tuition fits Sector 74 well. The tutor comes up to your flat, your child stays off the roads outside the gates, and you can see how lessons go. The catch is the tutor's own journey past the Sector 71/51 crossing, so the slot has to suit their route as well as your child's day.

Online classes skip the journey altogether. They help in exam weeks, on evenings when traffic or weather is bad, and when the right specialist lives far from Noida. For senior IB, IGCSE or entrance subjects, online tuition for Noida students is often the practical choice.

A coaching centre turns the trip around: your child travels, usually towards busier commercial sectors, through the same peak-hour crossings and fast traffic outside the gates that reviewers mention. In the towers, a frequent compromise is a home tutor for school work once or twice a week, plus online lessons with a specialist in one senior subject.

Home tuition fees for Sector 74

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set fees themselves; NXTutors shows yours before the demo.

In Sector 74, the fee moves with the class and board, the subject, the length of each session and how many sessions you want each week. Travel plays a part too. A tutor already teaching in Sector 75, 77 or 78 has a short ride, while one coming across the Sector 71/51 crossing at rush hour may ask for a longer minimum session or a slightly higher fee to make the trip worth it. Booking two children in the same flat back to back can also change the quote, so mention siblings.

For the monthly figure, multiply three things: hourly fee, session hours and sessions in the month. Get the rules for holidays, cancellations by you or the tutor, and pre-exam extras agreed before you commit.

Quiet study spots near Sector 74

We could not find a public library or community study room in Sector 74 itself. The nearest notable green space is Ved Van Park, a Noida Authority park in neighbouring Sector 78 that news reports describe as built for the societies of Sectors 74 to 79; it is a good place for a walk between revision blocks. The parks and green areas inside the larger societies serve the same purpose closer to home. For focused study, most families rely on a quiet room in the flat.

Sectors near Sector 74

  • Sector 75: next door on the Noida Sector 50 station side, with Spectrum Metro and market strips between its towers.
  • Sector 77: part of the same high-rise cluster, with no metro stop of its own.
  • Sector 78: home to Ved Van Park and large societies, a short ride for tutors already teaching there.
  • Sector 73: a lower-rise neighbour, much of it Sarfabad village, with builder floors and smaller buildings.
  • Sector 76: has its own Aqua Line stop, Noida Sector 76, the second station within reach of Sector 74.
  • Sector 50: the sector that gives the nearest metro station its name, on the way in from the Blue Line side.

These all sit in or beside the Sectors 70–82 zone; the zone guide compares the tower sectors with the low-rise ones.

First demo checklist for Sector 74

About this Area

Three sciences, one keen student, and a Class 11 timetable that already feels full: for a child in Sector 74, it helps to decide early which subject needs a tutor most. Physics, Chemistry and Biology can be taught by one person in the junior classes, but in the senior years you may prefer a separate Science specialist for each subject.

Tell us which subjects to cover and which board your child follows. For ICSE or ISC, mention it, since CISCE conducts both of those examinations, and tell us which chapters your child has already covered at school this term. IB students should name the subjects and the level. We then suggest two or three tutors, and you see each one's fee before the free first lesson.

The Sectors 70–82 zone has eleven pages, and Sector 74 is one. First on the list are people living in Sector 74 or travelling there; tutors from Sector 71, Sector 72 and other zone pages follow, then Noida beyond the zone, home tutors based in Faridabad, and lastly online teachers. Each card says why it is shown, so you can judge the timing yourself.

FAQs

To book a home tutor for a Sector 74 flat, send NXTutors the class, board, subject, and your project, gate and tower. You get two or three matched tutors who travel from nearby sectors or teach online. Each fee shows before the first class, the first class is a free demo, and switching tutor afterwards is free.
There is no single fee in Sector 74, because each tutor sets their own and NXTutors shows it before the free demo. Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. A tutor already teaching in Sector 75, 77 or 78 has a short ride, and two siblings booked back to back can change the quote.
Yes, Sector 74 families can ask for a woman tutor; mention it in your request with the class, board and subject. NXTutors then looks for women tutors who travel to Sector 74 or teach online. Choice depends on subject and slot, so some flexibility on the day or hour widens it.
For a Sector 74 student, home visits suit school subjects, because the tutor comes up to the flat and your child stays off the fast roads outside the gates. Online classes avoid the peak-hour crossings, carry on in exam weeks or bad weather, and open up distant specialists for senior IB, IGCSE or entrance subjects.
A tutor heading to Sector 74 should use Noida Sector 50 on the Aqua Line, about 1.2 km away by a property-portal estimate. Noida Sector 76 on the same line is about 1.6 km off, and the Blue Line's Noida Sector 52 is a little further. With no station inside, the last stretch is on foot or by e-rickshaw.
In Supertech Capetown, Sector 74, give a new tutor the exact project name, such as Capetown, Cape Luxe or Crown Town, plus gate number, tower and flat. The township has several entrances, so the sector name alone is not enough. Pre-approve the tutor at the gate and say if the tower lobby has its own sign-in.
A tutor reaches Sector 74 most easily just before the office rush or after it clears. Residents name the Sector 71/51 crossing and the sector's entry point as congested at office hours. Weekend mornings suit longer senior-class sessions, and an online class can stand in on a bad-traffic day.
Tutors from Sector 75 and Sector 77 often travel to Sector 74, since all three share the same tower cluster and roads. Name your society when you ask NXTutors. Tutors who travel to Sector 74 appear first, then those from the rest of the Sectors 70–82 zone and Noida, then online teachers for your class and board.
Tuition in a Sector 74 clubhouse depends entirely on your society's rules. Clubhouses are common in the Capetown and Ajnara Grand Heritage complexes, but each society decides on private classes in shared rooms. Ask your RWA or society office first; a quiet table in the flat is what most families use.
For a Sector 74 family, CBSE's second Class 10 exam in May is an improvement option after the February–March main exam. Plan the tutor's year around the main exam first. Once results arrive, decide whether a few weeks of focused help for the second sitting are worth it, and confirm dates on cbse.gov.in.
Yes, a home maths tutor is the first request most Sector 74 families make for Classes 6 to 8, often with science from the same tutor. These years reward a steady weekly routine more than long sessions. A tutor already teaching in the tower cluster can usually fit an after-school slot before the society play hour.
Tell a tutor where to park inside your Sector 74 society before the demo, because reviews mention limited visitor parking and parking rules that change often. Point out where a two-wheeler or car can wait. A tutor who walks in from the Sector 50 station avoids the question, but should meet your child at the tower lobby.
At a Sector 74 free demo, first check that the tutor found the right gate and tower on time. Then see whether they used your child's own books and board and asked what school has covered.
