Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Yes. In Sector 122 most families live in their own house or a builder floor, so a tutor rings your doorbell instead of clearing a society gate. Tell NXTutors your child's class, board, subject and block, and we propose two or three matched tutors. Their fees are visible before you book, the opening lesson is a free demo, and swapping to a different tutor later is free.
Sector 122 is the plotted sector of the Near Noida Extension zone in Noida, set between Vikas Marg and the big societies of Sectors 120 and 121, with Parthala village at its edge. This guide covers the blocks, the lanes, the roads in and the practical side of lessons in a family home.

Sector 122 looks unlike its neighbours. Where Sectors 119 to 121 are filled with towers, Sector 122 was laid out by the Noida Authority as residential plots in Blocks A to D. NoBroker describes it as mostly independent and low-rise houses, and Square Yards lists independent houses, builder floors and plots for sale. Rental listings include separate floors and 1 to 3 BHK units within houses, so one plot can hold more than one household.
Parthala, an older village settlement, sits right at the sector's edge and is mapped inside its outline on OpenStreetMap. Other villages close by include Parthala Khanjarpur, Sarfabad and Basai. Portals also name small apartment buildings, among them Ajnara Colony and Sunshine Apartment, alongside the plotted blocks.
In a house or builder floor, the tutor comes straight to your door. There is no visitor app, no long walk from gate to tower and no lift to wait for, so the lesson can start on the minute. The flip side is that nobody at a gate checks who is coming, so it is your job to confirm the tutor's name and time with them directly.
Space varies a lot. A full independent house usually has a room that can become the study room. A rented 1 BHK floor may not, so choose a slot when the television is off and the household is settled. Ground-floor rooms facing a busy lane can be noisy in the evening; an upstairs room, if you have one, is often quieter.
Vikas Marg leads west towards the office districts of Sector 62, so for many working parents the lesson time has to fit around the drive home on that road.
Reviews of Sector 122 on NoBroker and Square Yards are short but consistent. Here is what they mean for tuition.
Parents also ask the usual questions. Will the tutor keep a steady weekly time? Do they understand our board's marking? And for Classes 11 and 12, does a home tutor or an online specialist make more sense? The sections below answer those for a plotted sector.
Vikas Marg runs along the northern side of Sector 122 and is the main way in. It links west to Sectors 70 and 71 and on to Sectors 61 to 63, so a tutor from that side has a straight run. From the east, Pradhan Jaipal Singh Road and Parthala Road lead in from the Parthala junction, where the FNG road crosses on the six-lane flyover opened in June 2023.
There is no metro station inside the sector yet. NoBroker lists Noida Sector 51 on the Aqua Line about 3.3 km away and Noida Sector 52 on the Blue Line about 3.8 km away, the two stations that form the Sector 51/52 interchange. A tutor coming by train will take an auto or e-rickshaw for the last stretch along Vikas Marg. Bus stops listed for the sector include one at the CNG station and one in Sector 71.
The longer-term change is the metro. The Aqua Line extension from Sector 51 to Knowledge Park V, approved by the Uttar Pradesh cabinet in November 2024, lists stations at Sectors 61, 70, 122 and 123. Once built, it would put a station on Sector 122's doorstep, but no opening date has been announced.
Parthala Chowk is the junction to watch. News reports have described it as a pain point at evening peak hours, and the Noida Authority approved a 710-metre underpass there in October 2026, so expect construction nearby. A tutor coming from Greater Noida West will also pass Gaur Chowk, where an underpass has been under construction.
The nearest tutors are in Sectors 120 and 121, and across Vikas Marg in Sectors 70 to 74. We do not quote minutes for any of these routes; ask each tutor how they will come and at what hour.
Because most homes have no society gate, the logistics are about finding the house. Send the block and plot number, a map pin and a nearby landmark, such as Central Park, the post office or the C Block park. Plot numbers in older sectors are not always in order along a lane, and a pin saves the tutor from knocking on the wrong door.
For a builder floor, say which floor and which bell. If the stairs are shared with tenants above or below, tell the tutor so they do not wait at the wrong flat. Point out where a two-wheeler can be parked without blocking a neighbour's gate.
With no guard checking visitors, confirm the tutor's name, photo and time before the first visit, and keep an adult at home for every lesson. With young children, teach in a shared room with the door open.
If you would like a woman tutor, add it to your request; we shortlist a female tutor for home tuition in Noida where one is free for your class and slot. Tutors who join go through an ID check: a one-time code on their phone or email and a government photo ID reviewed by our team. This confirms identity only, not police records. Read how we check tutor IDs, and use the demo to judge the teaching.
Children from Sector 122 attend schools across Noida, so you will find CBSE, ICSE, UP Board and occasionally IB or Cambridge students on the same lane. In a family home the tutor has room to keep a box of board-specific material, which helps.
For a detailed comparison of the four, see our full board comparison.
Short lessons work, three or four times a week. In a house with a garden or a park nearby, a quick run outside before the tutor arrives helps a young child settle. Keep a single table for study, with pencils, the school diary and the reader in one place, so no lesson time is lost looking for them.
A child who has changed schools may have gaps in Maths or Science that the new school assumes are filled. Ask the tutor to start with a short test on the previous year's basics. A good English tutor at home can also help with the writing standard a new school expects.
Two or three lessons a week of 75 to 90 minutes are the usual pattern. UP Board and CBSE students sit board exams in the same season, so the revision plan should start in early winter. Our Class 9 tutors in Noida page shows how to build the base before Class 10.
Most students need a separate teacher for each main subject at this stage. Because Sector 122 has no station yet, a student travelling to coaching in Sector 62 or Sector 18 spends evenings on the road, so a weekend home lesson often becomes the anchor of the week.
UP Board, CBSE and CISCE exams all fall mainly in February and March, which matters in a sector where children follow different boards. UP Board timetables appear on upmsp.edu.in, ICSE and ISC on cisce.org, and CBSE on cbse.gov.in; IB sits in May and November, Cambridge in March, June and November. Take each date from the board itself, and plan with the tutor when revision begins.
Home tuition fits Sector 122 naturally: no gate, no lift, and a tutor who can start on time. You can hear the lesson from the next room. The limit is that the pool of tutors depends on who can drive or ride in at your hour.
Online classes are the answer on waterlogged evenings, during exam weeks and for specialist subjects such as IB HL Maths or JEE Physics, where the right tutor may live far away.
A coaching centre sends your child out on Vikas Marg every evening, usually to Sector 62 or Sector 18, with the junctions to cross. Many families mix: a home tutor for school subjects and one centre or online class for a specialist need.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Every tutor sets their own fee, and you see it before the demo.
A fee moves with the class and board, the subject, the lesson length and how many lessons you book each week. In a plotted sector there is no gate delay, which tutors value, but a long ride through Parthala at peak hours can push a tutor towards fewer, longer lessons.
To check a monthly figure, multiply the hourly fee by the lesson length and the number of lessons. Ask how holidays, cancellations and extra exam classes are handled before you start.
We found no public library or Noida Authority reading room in Sector 122. The sector's parks, Central Park and the C Block park, are good for a break between study sessions, not for study itself. For most students, a quiet room at home, ideally upstairs and away from the lane, remains the main study space.
Each link opens the Noida page for that board, subject or class. Tell us you are in Sector 122 and we look for tutors who can reach you, or teach online.
AI-first tutoring, with real teachers
You tell us the class, board, subject and where in Sector 122 you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Where AI stops and people start
Move out to the wider area or in to nearby sectors. Tutors usually travel short distances, so the closest areas are the most useful places to look.
Distances are straight-line estimates between sector centres from OpenStreetMap data; the road route is usually longer.

Sector 122 closes the Near Noida Extension list on NXTutors, the last of eight pages that begin at Sector 115. For a child here, the first step is a short request with the class, board, subject and the days that suit your household.
Commerce students taking Accountancy or Economics, IB or IGCSE learners, and NEET aspirants can all ask in the same way. If the subject is specialist, an online teacher can widen the choice, while a home tutor suits regular weekly practice. Mixing the two is fine. The IB tutors page may help for international courses.
Two or three tutors come back for each request, and what each one charges is visible ahead of the free first class. On this page, those who live in Sector 122 or travel there appear first. After them come teachers from other parts of the zone, like Sector 115 or Sector 116, then Noida more widely, home tutors from Delhi, Ghaziabad and other NCR cities, and online teachers at the end. Each card states why it is shown. Before booking, ask the tutor how they will share progress and what practice they expect between sessions. Switching later is free.
