Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Sector 116 sits in the Near Noida Extension zone of Noida, right beside Sector 76. Unlike the tower sectors around it, it is a plotted sector of houses and builder floors, so the questions here are about house numbers, street parking and the Sector 76/116 crossing rather than society gates.

Sector 116 is one of the few plotted sectors in this corner of Noida. NoBroker describes it as a sector of premium residential plots and independent homes, many of them built to the owner's own design, with apartment living much less common. Wide internal roads and green belts laid out by the Noida Authority run between the plots.
Not every house is lived in by one family. Some independent houses have been turned into builder floors, with a separate household on each level, and these floors come up for rent from 1 BHK to 3 BHK. Square Yards lists 2 BHK builder floors here in a building of five storeys. So a street in Sector 116 can hold an owner family in a full house next to tenants on three separate floors of the next one.
The sector is still filling in, and that shows. Property pages mention construction dust and noise as one of the downsides, because new houses keep going up on empty plots. For a lesson, that means the house next door may be a building site on weekday mornings and quiet by evening.
Many residents work nearby. NoBroker places the sector next to the Noida Special Economic Zone, and both NoBroker and MoneyTree name the offices of Sectors 62 and 63 as reachable by Vishwakarma Road. When both parents work office hours, a tutor who can come at a fixed early-evening time, or on Saturday and Sunday mornings, is usually the easiest to keep.
A full independent house usually has a spare room or a corner of the drawing room that can be set aside for study. On a builder floor, space is closer to a flat, and the lesson often happens at the dining table. Either way, the advantage of a plotted sector is that the tutor rings your own bell; there is no tower to find and no society office to deal with.
Public pages about Sector 116 are mostly property listings, but a few themes come up repeatedly. Each has a simple meaning for tuition.
Beyond these, the questions are the ones every parent asks: will the tutor keep the same slot every week, do they know my child's board, and should a senior subject be taught at home or online? The sections below answer them for a plotted sector like this one.
The nearest station is Noida Sector 76 on the Aqua Line, which NoBroker lists at about 1.8 km from the sector. Wikipedia gives the station's location as Amrapali Princely Estate in Sector 76 and its opening as January 2019, with the line running north to Noida Sector 51, where riders change for the Blue Line at Noida Sector 52, and south towards Greater Noida. A tutor who comes by metro then takes a city bus, an e-rickshaw or walks the rest of the way; MoneyTree names buses and e-rickshaws as the usual last-mile options here.
On the road, Vishwakarma Road is the main link, and Dadri Main Road also serves the sector. OpenStreetMap shows Sector 78 Main Road running east past Ved Van Park and continuing as Sector 116 Main Road. NoBroker names two local bus stops, Sector 116/76 Crossing and Sarfabad Village, which are handy meeting points to give a tutor who has not visited before.
The shortest trips come from the sectors around you: Sector 76 across the crossing, Sector 115 and Sector 117 on either side, and Sector 77 a little further. A tutor who already teaches a student in one of those sectors can often fit your lesson just before or after it.
Tutors coming from Greater Noida West have a harder evening. Gaur Chowk, also called Char Murti Chowk, has been under underpass work, and news reports describe queues several kilometres long at morning and evening peaks. Ask such a tutor how their route runs and whether a later or weekend slot is easier. Travel minutes are left out here on purpose, since the Sector 116 roads behave so differently at 5 pm and at 8 pm.
Metro timing matters for late lessons. The Aqua Line runs from around 6 am to around 10 pm, with some variation on weekends and holidays, so a tutor relying on the train needs a lesson that ends well before the last service.
In a plotted sector, the tutor comes straight to your house, so the work is in the directions, not the paperwork. Sector 116 is divided into lettered blocks; OpenStreetMap, for example, shows a G Block Road and an H Block Road off Sector 116 Main Road. Send the block letter, the plot or house number, the floor if you live on a builder floor, and a map pin. NoBroker mentions a Gate 4 for the sector, so if your street is closest to a particular sector gate, name it.
Parking is on the street. Tell the tutor where a scooter or car can stand without blocking a neighbour's gate, especially on a builder-floor street where several households share the frontage. If your bell or nameplate is hard to spot, a quick call when the tutor reaches the block saves time on the first visit.
Most lessons happen inside the home. Keep an adult in the house, and for younger children keep the study room door open. For a girl in senior classes, many families also prefer the lesson in a shared room rather than a bedroom.
If you would like a woman tutor, mention it with your request and we will look for a woman home tutor in Noida who can reach Sector 116 or teach online. Tutors who join NXTutors go through an ID check: a one-time code to confirm their phone or email and a government photo ID reviewed by our team. That step tells you the person at your door is who they say they are; it is not a police or background check. Read how our ID checks work, and use the demo to judge the teaching for yourself.
Requests from independent homes here usually name CBSE or ICSE, and sometimes IB, Cambridge IGCSE or UP Board. For a home tutor, the board decides the books and the way answers are marked, so give the tutor the school's syllabus or book list at the first lesson.
Two points are worth knowing. For UP Board, tell the tutor whether your child writes in Hindi or English, because UPMSP publishes most notices in Hindi and the medium decides which books the tutor uses. For IB or IGCSE, the right subject specialist may live far from a plotted sector like this, so some families pair a home tutor for school work with an online teacher for one subject. See our CBSE home tutors in Noida page, and for a full side-by-side view of the boards, read our board comparison guide.
Small children learn well in short lessons of 45 minutes to an hour, three or four days a week. In a house with a spare room, set up one small table with good light and keep the school diary on it. The tutor can then see the class work and the teacher's remarks without asking each time. A primary home tutor in Noida can also help with reading and handwriting, which are easier to work on at home than in a group.
Maths and Science start to get heavier in these years, and many families take one tutor for both. Ask the tutor to look at the school notebook and the last test each week, so the lessons follow what the class is doing rather than racing ahead of it. Where English or a second language is weak, add it once the main subjects settle.
Board preparation starts in Class 9. Lessons of about 90 minutes, two or three times a week, leave time for both teaching and a short timed test. For CBSE, NCERT books and the board's sample papers are the core material; for ICSE, the spread of subjects is wider and English literature texts are set by the board. Our Class 10 home tuition in Noida page has more on this stage.
Most families now take a separate tutor for each main subject, such as Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, Accountancy or Economics. If JEE or NEET is in the plan, the hours rise. In a plotted sector a home tutor for board subjects plus an online teacher for entrance work is a common mix, because it avoids a long evening journey to a centre.
For most students here, school board exams fall in the first months of the calendar year, with dates set by the board. ICSE and ISC timetables appear on cisce.org, UP Board timetables on upmsp.edu.in, and CBSE notices on cbse.gov.in. IB Diploma exams sit in May and November, and Cambridge runs March, June and November series in India. Check the dates on the board's own site, and agree with the tutor when lessons switch from new chapters to revision and past papers, ideally a couple of months before the first paper.
A home tutor suits a plotted sector well. There is no society gate to clear and the child stays at home in the evening, which matters on quiet streets after dark. The cost is the tutor's journey through the Sector 76/116 junction, which is why tutors from the immediate neighbourhood are the steadiest choice.
Online lessons skip that journey. They are the practical answer on heavy-rain days, during exam weeks, and for subjects where the right specialist lives across town. Our online tutors for Noida students cover senior science, maths and international boards.
A coaching centre puts the travel on your child. From Sector 116 that usually means a bus or e-rickshaw to the Sector 76 station, or a lift from a parent. Many families keep one centre class or online class for a specialist subject and a home tutor for the rest.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors price their own lessons, and the Sector 116 shortlist carries each figure before any demo is booked.
What moves the fee is the class, the board and the subject, how long each lesson runs, and how many lessons you book in a week. Travel matters too: a tutor who already teaches in Sector 115 or 117 has a short ride, while one coming through the Sector 76 crossing at rush hour, or from across the city, may ask for longer lessons so the trip is worth it.
Before you agree a monthly figure, ask how the tutor handles public holidays, lessons you cancel at short notice, and extra classes in the weeks before exams.
We did not find a public library or community study room in Sector 116 in the sources we checked. The Noida Authority green belts along the internal roads are pleasant for a walk between study sessions, and Ved Van Park in Sector 78, close to the Sector 78 Main Road, is a larger green space nearby. For real study time, a quiet room at home remains the main option.
Sectors 76, 77 and 78 belong to the Sectors 70–82 zone; the rest are in the Near Noida Extension zone with Sector 116.

AI-first tutoring, with real teachers
You tell us the class, board, subject and where in Sector 116 you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Where AI stops and people start
Move out to the wider area or in to nearby sectors. Tutors usually travel short distances, so the closest areas are the most useful places to look.

Choosing a stream in Class 11 changes what kind of help a student needs. A Sector 116 student moving into science may want Biology and NEET support, while one taking commerce may need Economics. Tell us which path your child has chosen and we will line up two or three tutors who teach it.
The board matters too. CISCE is responsible for ICSE and ISC, and CBSE for the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams, so let us know which applies. The JEE home tutors page is useful if engineering entrance is the aim.
Sector 116 is one of eight pages in Near Noida Extension, with Sector 115, Sector 117 and Sector 118 listed alongside it. A tutor who covers one of those pages may also be happy to teach you, so it is worth asking them about timing. You will see each tutor's fee before the first class, which is a free demo, and you can decide only after your child has had a lesson. If the arrangement stops working later, switching to another tutor is free, and we can suggest new names for your child's class, board and subjects.
