Tutors who join go through an ID check. Tell us the class, board and your area: we share two or three matched tutors, each with their fee, and the first class is a free demo, at home or online.
Book a free demo classAcross NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

In Noida the hard part of JEE tuition is rarely finding someone who can teach rotational motion. It is finding someone who can reach a tower on the Expressway, or a plotted house in Old Noida, at an hour that is not already taken by school, coaching or the drive between them. Most JEE aspirants here attend coaching, so a home tutor's job is to sit in the gaps and make the coaching count. This page covers how to choose those gaps sector by sector, which subjects need a tutor in the room, and how the plan changes for CBSE, ICSE, international and UP Board students. Our national JEE home tutor hub explains the exams and the subject split.
JEE (Main) Paper 1, as the NTA set it for 2026, is a three-hour test on a computer: 75 questions shared equally across mathematics, physics and chemistry, 300 marks, and a one-mark penalty for a wrong answer in both the multiple-choice and the numerical sections. There were two sessions, in January and April, and the higher score stood. Students who rank high enough move on to JEE (Advanced), conducted by the IITs as two compulsory three-hour papers. Every one of these details is re-announced yearly on jeemain.nta.nic.in and jeeadv.ac.in, so confirm them there before building a timetable.
Draw three points on a map: your home, the school and the coaching centre. In Noida those points are often in different zones, joined by Vikas Marg, NH-9, the Expressway or Dadri Main Road, all slow at the office peak. The tutor's slot has to sit where the triangle leaves room.
Whatever the triangle, the tutor should anchor the week, and coaching tests should feed into it: the doubt list from the coaching sheet comes to every session, and each test is reviewed within a few days.
Our zone research shows where tutors tend to live and how they travel. The Noida page has every sector we cover.
| Zone | Getting there | What it means for a JEE timetable |
|---|---|---|
| Old Noida, e.g. Sector 14 | Blue Line stations at Sectors 15, 16 and 18 and Botanical Garden; houses and floors with no gate pass | Book outside the evening build-up towards the DND and the Film City Flyover |
| Central Noida, e.g. Sector 34 | Blue and Aqua Lines meet at Sectors 51 and 52, so metro-riding tutors cover it well | A tutor who drives should avoid peak hour on Dadri Main Road and Amrapali Road |
| Sector 62 belt, e.g. Sector 61 | Blue Line extension; tutors reach Sectors 55 and 56 by two-wheeler or auto | NH-9 office traffic decides the slot: after school or after the evening peak |
| Sectors 70 to 82, e.g. Sector 75 | Aqua Line stations at Sector 50, 76 and 101 and NSEZ; towers in 74 to 79 | A tutor based inside the belt avoids the Sector 71/51 bottleneck on Vikas Marg |
| Noida Expressway, e.g. Sector 108 | Aqua Line along much of the road; large gated societies | A tutor from a neighbouring sector using local roads keeps time; specialists work best on a hybrid plan |
| Near Noida Extension, e.g. Sector 117 | Sector 76 is the nearest Aqua Line stop for some sectors; Gaur Chowk is slow while the underpass is built | Start online and add a home session once you find the right tutor |
For more on each area, read our guides to Old and Central Noida, Sector 62 and the 70s and the Expressway and Extension.
Take an illustrative Class 12 student in a high-rise society off the Expressway, with coaching in Central Noida on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday afternoons, and scores slipping in physics. A tutor driving the Expressway at six in the evening would arrive late every week. A plan that fits the map instead:
| When | What |
|---|---|
| Monday, straight after school | Home physics session, 90 minutes, with a tutor from a nearby sector who uses local roads |
| Wednesday, after 8 pm | Online, 40 minutes: Tuesday's coaching doubts, worked on a shared screen |
| Friday evening | Online, 30 minutes: chemistry recall set by the tutor, marked the same night |
| Sunday morning | Online or at home: Saturday's coaching test reviewed question by question |
The physics tutor makes one journey a week, at an hour when the roads are open. Pre-approve them on the society app and allow for the minutes from gate to tower, so the session starts on the hour.
Since both JEE papers are computer-based, some online practice is useful whatever the tuition mode. Our subject guides on maths, physics and chemistry show where marks usually go.
Because each home visit in Noida costs a tutor real road time, the session itself has to be dense. A shape that works for most Class 11 and 12 students:
If a tutor spends most of a home visit lecturing while the student copies, ask for a change of approach or try the next tutor on the shortlist.
CBSE is the most common board in Noida, with ICSE, ISC, IB and IGCSE also taught, and UP Board (UPMSP) schools preparing students for the state's High School and Intermediate exams. The NTA syllabus follows the NCERT books, so the work a tutor does in Class 11 depends on how close the school course is to them.
| Board | Class 11 | Class 12 and repeat year |
|---|---|---|
| CBSE | Speed and depth beyond school questions; error log from the first month | Full papers before the January session; board-style answers before pre-boards |
| ICSE to ISC, IB or IGCSE | A unit-by-unit map against the NTA syllabus in the first fortnight; IB families read the bulletin's qualifying list | Gap units taught in the order the school reaches them, so JEE work never runs ahead |
| UP Board, Hindi or English medium | Check the gap between the board's own syllabus and the NTA units with the tutor; terminology practice in the paper language | JEE Main was offered in 13 languages in 2026 and Advanced in English and Hindi; choose the language early and practise in it |
A repeat year starts with last year's test papers, not chapter one. The 2026 bulletin admitted students who passed Class XII in the two previous years, and Advanced allowed two attempts in consecutive years; check the current rules. For school-side support, see our Noida maths, physics and chemistry tutor pages; UP Board families should check upmsp.edu.in for the current syllabus.
If two or more answers are vague, ask for the next demo; switching is free. Tutors who join go through an ID check, and the JEE physics tutor page shows what a strong session looks like.

JEE tutors can be matched across all six Noida zones, from Old and Central Noida to the Sector 62 belt, Sectors 70 to 82, the Expressway and near Noida Extension. JEE tuition in Noida works well straight after school on a non-coaching day, or after the evening peak on Vikas Marg, NH-9 and the Expressway. On coaching evenings, a short online doubt session is more reliable than a late home visit. Weekend mornings suit test reviews and long sessions.
Yes, a JEE tutor can come to a Noida Expressway society, and the steadiest choice is one from a neighbouring sector using local roads at peak hour. For a specialist who lives further away, a hybrid plan works: one home session a week and online sessions in between. Pre-approve the tutor on the society app and allow minutes from gate to tower.
Yes, a UP Board student in Noida can prepare for JEE, starting with a tutor who compares the board's syllabus with the NTA units. The gaps should be taught early in Class 11. JEE Main was offered in 13 languages in 2026, and JEE Advanced in English and Hindi, so decide the paper language early. Check upmsp.edu.in for the board syllabus.
Physics is usually the JEE subject to teach at home in Noida, because how a student sets up a problem is easiest to fix side by side. Long maths sessions also benefit from a tutor reading every line. Chemistry recall works well online in short sessions, saving a journey at peak hour.
A JEE home tutor in Noida fits into the gaps between home, school and coaching, which are often in different zones joined by slow roads. If coaching is far away, put the home session on a non-coaching day straight after school; if coaching is near, a weekend home session plus one online evening often works. The coaching doubt list comes to every session.
A 90-minute JEE home session in Noida should open with 20 minutes on the coaching doubt list, then 40 minutes rebuilding one weak idea. Next come 20 minutes of timed problems marked on the spot with the wrong-answer penalty counted, and 10 minutes planning the week. A tutor who mostly lectures while the student copies is not using the visit well.
A JEE demo in Noida should test whether the tutor asks what the student tried before explaining, and lets the student finish each solution. Bring unsolved questions from the latest coaching sheet. Look for a faster second method, a clear rule on when to skip a numerical-value question, a route they can keep through the board months, and a four-week plan.
For a Noida student, JEE (Main) Paper 1 in 2026 was a three-hour computer test of 75 questions across maths, physics and chemistry, worth 300 marks. A wrong answer cost one mark in both the multiple-choice and numerical sections, and the higher of two sessions' scores stood. Confirm every detail each year on jeemain.nta.nic.in.
