Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Sector 14 is a border sector in Old Noida, the first part of Noida you reach from New Ashok Nagar in Delhi. It is mostly independent houses and builder floors, with a few apartment buildings. Its strong point for tuition is the metro: Noida Sector 15 station is listed within about a kilometre, and New Ashok Nagar station sits just across the border.

Sector 14 is one of the sectors Noida built first, on the edge of Delhi. NoBroker describes it as an established, family-oriented residential area on the Delhi–Uttar Pradesh border, with independent houses, builder floors, standalone buildings and a small number of apartment societies. Sale listings on the portal lean towards large homes of four bedrooms and more, while the rental side runs from one-room sets to three-bedroom floors.
That mix means two common household types. One is the long-settled owner family in a large house, often with more than one generation at home. The other is a tenant family on one floor of a plotted building, sometimes close to the station because the commute into Delhi is short. Both are easy for a tutor to reach, but the first usually has a spare room for lessons and the second may not.
Reviews on NoBroker describe quiet residential pockets, good greenery and well-kept roads, and portals list the B Block Market as the local shopping street, with the larger Sector 18 markets a short ride away. OpenStreetMap places the sector in the Chilla area beside Sector 14A. Across the border, New Ashok Nagar and Mayur Kunj are part of daily life too: NoBroker lists both among the neighbourhood's nearby localities.
In a large house, choose a room on a floor away from visitors and the front door. In a single floor shared with a busy household, a fixed corner with a table and good light works better than moving around the house. Because most homes here open straight onto the lane, the tutor comes to your door; the few societies in the sector run their own gate routine.
NoBroker's resident reviews for Sector 14 are mostly positive, with a few practical complaints. Each translates into a small tuition decision.
Beyond these, parents ask whether a tutor will keep the same slot every week, whether they know the school's board, and what happens if the match is wrong. On NXTutors, fees are visible before the demo and you can switch tutor later at no charge.
Sector 14 is one of the easiest Old Noida sectors to reach without a car. NoBroker lists Noida Sector 15 station at about 600 m, though one resident review puts it nearer a kilometre. The station is elevated, stands on Captain Vijayant Thapar Marg and opened in November 2009. On the Blue Line, its neighbours are New Ashok Nagar towards Delhi and Noida Sector 16 towards the rest of Noida, so tutors anywhere along the line can ride in and walk the last stretch.
New Ashok Nagar station, just over the border in Delhi, is also listed at about a kilometre. Wikipedia lists a connection there to the New Ashok Nagar station of the Delhi–Meerut regional rail corridor, run with Namo Bharat trains, which gives a tutor from further east another way in. Buses stop at New Ashok Nagar and Sector 15, according to NoBroker.
By road, families name Dadri Main Road, Udyog Marg, Metro Station Road and New Ashok Nagar Road. The DND Flyway, which lands in Noida at Sector 15A next door, carries traffic to and from south Delhi, and the cloverleaf at its Noida end connects to the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway. That convenience has a cost in the evening, when DND-bound traffic builds.
The shortest trips come from Sectors 14A, 15 and 16. We give no travel minutes because they vary so much by hour. Ask each tutor whether they will walk from a station, ride a two-wheeler or drive, and set the slot around that.
For most Sector 14 families, the arrangements are simple: send the tutor your house number, block and floor, and say whether they should use the main door or a side entrance. If the tutor is coming from Sector 15 station, a walking route with one landmark, such as the B Block Market, is all they need.
A few homes in the sector sit in apartment societies or have their own security staff. If yours does, give the staff the tutor's name and lesson days before the first visit, and tell the tutor where a two-wheeler can stand. If the house has staff who answer the door, let them know the tutor's name and time too.
Have an adult at home through the lesson, especially for younger children, and keep the door of the study room open. If you would rather have a woman tutor, mention it with the class and subject; we look for a woman tutor in Noida who can reach Sector 14 or teach online. Tutors who join NXTutors go through an ID check, in which they confirm a phone number or email with a one-time code and upload a government photo ID that our team reviews. It confirms identity, not character or record; here is how our tutor ID check works. The free demo is where you judge the teaching.
CBSE is the board Sector 14 families ask about most, followed by ICSE and ISC, with some families asking for IB, Cambridge IGCSE or UP Board. Because the sector sits on the Delhi border, a family may have moved recently from a Delhi school and be adjusting to a new one in Noida; tell the tutor which board and school year the child has just come from, so gaps can be spotted early.
For IB and IGCSE, a specialist may be hard to find within walking distance, and the metro helps: a tutor living anywhere on the Blue Line can reach Sector 15 station. Our IGCSE tutors in Noida page covers that board in detail, and our board comparison guide compares all four.
Keep lessons for young children short and frequent, ideally at the same table each time. In a large house with visitors coming and going, ask the household to keep the study room off-limits for the hour. A tutor walking from the station at a gentle hour, such as late afternoon, is usually more punctual than one driving through the evening.
This is the stage to build steady habits. Many families start with a single tutor for Maths and Science, adding English when reading or writing needs work. An English tutor in Noida will want a recent marked composition to see where marks are lost.
Regular weekday slots matter more than long lessons now. Fix evenings that avoid the DND-bound rush, keep them for the whole year, and ask the tutor to end each lesson with a short timed question so exam pace builds gradually.
Seniors generally take one tutor per main subject. The metro widens the choice: a Physics or Chemistry specialist living several stops away on the Blue Line can still teach at home in Sector 14. For entrance preparation, a mix of home lessons for board work and JEE tutors in Noida online or at home is common.
Board exams for most students here come early in the year, after school pre-boards. Use only the boards' websites for dates: cbse.gov.in, cisce.org, upmsp.edu.in, and the IB and Cambridge session pages. Agree with the tutor when lessons switch to past papers, and book any extra exam-month sessions early, choosing hours when the DND approach is quiet.
A home tutor suits Sector 14 well. The houses are easy to reach, and the metro station within about a kilometre means tutors without a car are a real option, not a compromise. You can listen in from the next room and talk to the tutor at the end of each lesson.
Online lessons are useful when the right specialist lives far away, or on rain-soaked evenings when internal roads flood. They also suit a senior student who already spends long days at school and coaching.
A coaching centre puts the travel on your child. From Sector 14 that journey is shorter than from many sectors, because of the station, but late classes can mean a walk home from the metro after dark. Many families keep a home tutor for school subjects and use one centre or online class for a specialist need.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Each tutor sets their own fee, which you see on the shortlist before the demo.
What moves a fee within that band: the class and board, the subject, how long each lesson runs and how many lessons a week you take. In Sector 14, travel matters less than in many sectors, because a tutor can walk from Sector 15 station. A tutor who drives through the DND-bound traffic, though, may ask for longer lessons to make the trip worthwhile.
Ask at the demo how the tutor handles cancelled lessons, holidays and extra exam-month classes, so the monthly bill matches your plan.
We could not confirm a public library or community study room in Sector 14. Reviewers describe the sector's residential pockets as quiet and green, which suits a walk between study sessions. For most students, a fixed desk at home remains the place to study.
Sector 16, with its own station, and Sector 6 also adjoin Sector 14 but have no NXTutors area pages yet. For the wider picture, open the zone page that lists every Old Noida sector.
Each link opens the Noida page for that board, subject or class. Tell us you are in Sector 14 and we look for tutors who can reach you, or teach online.
AI-first tutoring, with real teachers
You tell us the class, board, subject and where in Sector 14 you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Where AI stops and people start
Move out to the wider area or in to nearby sectors. Tutors usually travel short distances, so the closest areas are the most useful places to look.
Distances are straight-line estimates between sector centres from OpenStreetMap data; the road route is usually longer.

Economics, Biology and JEE subjects are all on the list for a Sector 14 request, whatever the board. On NXTutors, Sector 14 sits in the Old Noida zone, which runs to twenty pages over eighteen sectors.
Board details matter most in the senior years. The ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) are CISCE examinations, so if your child takes ISC Economics, say so and mention the textbook. CBSE students should name the subjects and the chapters done. With that, we can pick two or three people who know the syllabus.
On this page, a tutor who lives in Sector 14 or travels to it comes first. Then you see those based in or covering other Old Noida sectors, Noida more widely, home tutors from Faridabad or Gurugram, and finally online teaching. Before you book, find out how a tutor would prepare your child for the board paper, how they mark practice answers and how often they will update you. If your child studies Biology with NEET in mind, say so, since that changes how a tutor uses each lesson. A recent test with marks is also useful to share before the first class.
