What home tuition costs in Noida

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.

Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Home tuition in Sector 44: the local guide

Reviewed by NXTutors team · 16 Oct 2026 · Facts on places, roads and exams are checked against public sources.

Home tuition in Sector 44, Noida: the short answer

Yes, a tutor can come to your home in Sector 44, or teach your child online. Tell NXTutors the class, board and subject, plus whether you live in a kothi block, a tower society or Chhalera, and we suggest two or three matched tutors who travel to Sector 44 from nearby sectors or who teach online. Fees sit beside each name on that shortlist, your first class costs nothing as a demo, and moving to another tutor later is free.

Sector 44 is in the Central Noida zone of Noida, at its western edge where the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway begins. That position, the Chhalera village pocket, and a metro station that is approved but not yet built are what this guide is about.

Who lives in Sector 44: kothi blocks, towers and Chhalera

Sector 44 is not one kind of neighbourhood. It holds three quite different kinds of home, and the right way to set up tuition depends on which one is yours.

The plotted blocks

Large parts of the sector are residential plots with independent houses and kothis. Resale listings on Square Yards show plots for sale here, and Omaxe gives its Sector 44 society's address as D-11, which tells you the sector is laid out in lettered blocks. In a kothi, a tutor rings the bell at your gate; there is no guard to clear, but there may be a family car in the drive and only street parking outside.

The tower societies

A handful of gated apartment societies sit in the sector. OpenStreetMap shows Celeste Towers, by Assotech, with blocks named Corona and Europa and its own club, and Gateway Towers further north. Omaxe Royal Residency is the Omaxe group's society in Block D, with three towers listed by portals. Property guides also name Defence Enclave in the Chhalera Bagh area, Express Green Apartments and East Platinum Apartments. Portals describe the flats in these societies as mostly 3 and 4 BHK.

Chhalera and Chhalera Bangar

OpenStreetMap places the village of Chhalera inside Sector 44, and NoBroker lists Chhalera Bangar as a sub-locality. Village lanes here are numbered as galis rather than lettered blocks, homes are a mix of older family houses and newer standalone buildings, and many flats are rented out. Families here include long-time village residents and tenants who work in nearby offices.

NoBroker calls the sector a planned, family-oriented, mid-segment locality. Its reviews mention the Okhla Bird Sanctuary and the Noida Golf Course as nearby green spaces, and Som Bazar on Mondays for vegetables. The Worlds of Wonder amusement park and the Great India Place mall area lie just north-west, across the flyover side.

Which tutor fits your child?

What Sector 44 families think about when planning lessons

We read public resident reviews on property portals to see which everyday issues might affect a tutor's visit. These are themes, not quotes, and we have turned complaints into timing advice.

  • Traffic near Botanical Garden and on the expressway stretch. NoBroker reviews mention peak-hour traffic near Botanical Garden, and Housing.com lists jams on the expressway stretch along Sector 44 as a drawback. A lesson that starts before the evening office rush, or after it has eased, is easier for a tutor to keep on time.
  • Rain and waterlogging. Several reviews mention waterlogging in the monsoon and weak drainage. Agree with the tutor at the start that a heavy-rain evening becomes an online lesson.
  • Power cuts. Some reviewers mention power cuts. Keep a charged laptop or tablet ready if you plan to switch to online, and a window seat with daylight for an afternoon lesson.
  • Parking in older pockets. Limited parking in the older parts of the sector comes up in reviews. Tell a tutor who drives where to leave the car.
  • Expressway noise. A reviewer mentions noise from the expressway. If your home faces it, pick the quietest room for lessons.
  • Green space for children. On the positive side, residents praise parks and open spaces for children and the walk to the bird sanctuary side. A child who plays outdoors in the early evening may focus better in a lesson just after.

How tutors reach Sector 44 today, and what the planned metro changes

Today there is no metro station inside Sector 44, so most tutors arrive by two-wheeler, car, auto or e-rickshaw. The nearest stations, per NoBroker, are Okhla Bird Sanctuary on the Magenta Line, about 2.6 km away, and Botanical Garden, about 3.4 km away, where the Blue and Magenta Lines meet in Sector 38. Okhla Bird Sanctuary station stands on Amrapali Marg in Sector 94. A tutor coming from South Delhi on the Magenta Line, or from Delhi or Noida on the Blue Line, can ride to one of these and take an auto for the last stretch.

By road, Sector 44 sits where the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway starts at the Mahamaya Flyover. Inside and around the sector, Sector 44 Road and Sadarpur Main Road are the main local links, with Dadri Road and Lieutenant Vijyant Thapar Marg nearby. A tutor from Sector 45 or 46 can stay on these local roads; one from the expressway belt or from Delhi has to cross the flyover junction.

The approved Sector 44 metro station

The Noida Metro Rail Corporation's Botanical Garden–Sector 142 extension of the Aqua Line includes a station named Noida Sector 44. The line is planned as elevated, along the eastern service lane of the expressway, with eight stations: Botanical Garden, Noida Sector 44, Noida Office, Noida Sector 97, Noida Sector 105, Noida Sector 108, Noida Sector 93 and Panchsheel Balak Inter College. The Union Cabinet approved the 11.56 km corridor in February 2026. No opening date has been announced, so plan around road travel for now.

We do not quote travel minutes; they change a lot with the hour. Ask each tutor how they will come and at what time they would leave home.

Gates, galis and safety for a tutor visiting Sector 44

Your entry routine depends on where you live. In Celeste Towers, Omaxe Royal Residency and the other societies, register the tutor with the guard or your visitor app before the demo, and send the tower and flat number. Celeste Towers has more than one named block, so say which one. After the demo, ask the office about a standing approval for a regular visitor.

In the kothi blocks, share the house number and the block letter, and say whether the gate will be open or whether the tutor should call. In Chhalera, gali numbers help, but a map pin and one landmark, such as a temple, shop or the Chhalera bus stand, help more on the first visit.

Keep an adult at home through every lesson, and the study room door open for younger children. If you prefer a woman tutor, say so in your request; we can shortlist a woman home tutor in Noida where one fits your class, subject and time. Anyone who joins NXTutors as a tutor goes through an ID check, using a one-time code for phone or email and a government photo ID that our team looks over. It confirms who the tutor is; it is not a police or background check. Read how our tutor ID check works, and use the demo to judge the teaching yourself.

Boards in Sector 44 and what changes for the tutor

Tutors who travel to Sector 44 can be matched for CBSE, ICSE and ISC, UP Board, IB and Cambridge IGCSE. What changes from home to home is less the board than the setting. In a large kothi, there is usually a separate room for lessons. In a rented flat in Chhalera, the lesson may share space with the household, so a fixed corner and a quieter hour matter more.

For CBSE Class 10, CBSE's scheme now gives students a second board exam in the same year to improve their score, so tell the tutor early whether your child plans to sit it. For a UP Board student, say whether answers are written in Hindi or English. For IB or IGCSE, give the tutor the subject guide or syllabus code from school. For a full comparison of the boards, see CBSE vs ICSE vs IB vs IGCSE.

Lessons in Sector 44 homes, from nursery to Class 12

Nursery to Class 5

Short lessons suit small children, three or four times a week. In a kothi, choose a room away from the front gate and the doorbell. In a society flat, the hour after school but before the park fills up tends to work well. Ask the tutor to read the school diary at the start of each lesson, so practice matches what the class is doing.

Classes 6 to 8

This is the stage to fix gaps in arithmetic, reading and science basics before board years. Many families choose one tutor for Maths and Science together. A maths tutor at home in Noida is often the first request at this age. Ask for a short written test every two weeks, so you can see progress without waiting for school marks.

Classes 9 and 10

Board planning starts in Class 9. Lessons grow to about 90 minutes, two or three times a week, with a timed question set in most sessions. For Class 10, agree with the tutor when the syllabus should be finished, so the last months go to revision and sample papers. Our Class 10 home tuition page explains how we match for this year.

Classes 11 and 12

Students usually take a separate tutor for each main subject: Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, Accountancy or Economics. If JEE or NEET is in the plan, families often keep a home tutor for school and board work and add online or centre classes for the entrance exam. Since there is no metro in the sector yet, a senior student who travels for coaching may find a weekend morning lesson at home the easiest to protect.

Exam season for Sector 44 students

Most board exams fall between February and April. CBSE posts its date sheets on cbse.gov.in, CISCE on cisce.org and UP Board on upmsp.edu.in. IB Diploma exams run in May and November sessions, and Cambridge IGCSE in March, June and November series. Take dates only from these official sites. Monsoon waterlogging falls in the school term, not the exam months, but pre-board tests in winter can clash with wedding-season traffic on the flyover, so fix revision lessons early in the evening.

Home, online or a coaching centre from Sector 44

A home tutor saves your child the trip, which matters in a sector with no metro station yet and a busy flyover at the edge. You also see the lessons happen. The limit is that the tutor must be able to reach you at your chosen hour.

Online lessons remove the trip completely. They suit rainy evenings, specialist subjects, and senior IB, IGCSE or entrance-exam work. See online tuition for Noida students if the right teacher lives far away.

A coaching centre means your child travels, usually by road or by an auto to Botanical Garden for the metro. Some families mix: a home tutor for school subjects, and one centre or online class for an entrance exam.

Home tuition fees in Sector 44

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Every tutor sets their own fee, and NXTutors shows it to you before the demo.

The fee mostly moves with the class, the board, the subject and how many lessons a week you book. In Sector 44, travel adds a further factor: a tutor coming across the Mahamaya Flyover junction at peak hours may prefer longer, less frequent lessons. A tutor who already teaches in Sector 45 or 46 has a short ride.

Before regular lessons start, agree what happens with holidays, cancelled lessons and extra classes before exams, so the month-end amount matches what you expected.

Quiet places to study near Sector 44

We did not find a public library or Noida Authority study room inside Sector 44. Celeste Towers lists a library room among its society amenities, for residents only; ask the office whether a tuition lesson may be held there. For most families, the study room at home stays the main spot.

  1. 1. It reads your requestClass, board (CBSE, ICSE, UP Board, IB or IGCSE), subject and the time slots that suit you.

About this Area

Board years bring their own kind of pressure. In Class 10 and Class 12, a tutor in Sector 44 who can plan revision around the school calendar can be worth more than one who simply covers chapters. Say which exams are coming and how much of the book remains, and two or three fitting tutors will be suggested.

Maths and Accountancy both reward regular written practice. The Maths home tutors page may help if marks have dipped in one subject. For a CISCE student, mention whether it is ICSE or ISC, since CISCE conducts both.

How the list is built: tutors who live in Sector 44, or who say they will travel there, are shown first. Then come tutors linked to other Central Noida pages, such as Sector 36 or Sector 39, then anyone from the wider city. Home tutors from Delhi, Greater Noida and other NCR cities follow, with online teachers at the end, and each card explains why it is there. Whichever tutor you try, the opening lesson is free, so your child can meet them before you decide. Bring the last report card to that session if you have it.

Not yet: Sector 44 has no working metro station today, though a Noida Sector 44 station is part of the approved Aqua Line extension from Botanical Garden to Sector 142. The Union Cabinet cleared it in February 2026, with no opening date announced. For now, tutors use Okhla Bird Sanctuary or Botanical Garden stations and finish by road.
Each tutor sets their own fee for Sector 44, and you see it on the shortlist before the free demo. Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Yes, you can ask for a woman tutor in Sector 44 when you send your request, and we shortlist one where available for your class, subject and timing. Tutors who join go through an ID check of a government photo ID. It is not a police check, so keep an adult at home during lessons.
For school subjects in Sector 44, home tuition usually saves the most time, since there is no metro station in the sector yet and roads near the flyover get busy. Coaching suits entrance-exam batches if travel is manageable. Many families keep a home tutor for school work and add an online or centre class for JEE or NEET.
For Sector 44, the closest station is Okhla Bird Sanctuary on the Magenta Line, about 2.6 km away according to NoBroker. Botanical Garden, on the Blue and Magenta Lines, is about 3.4 km away. A tutor who rides the metro usually takes an auto or e-rickshaw from either station to your gate.

Yes, home tuition is available in Chhalera and Chhalera Bangar, the village part of Sector 44. Lanes are numbered as galis, so send the gali number, a map pin and a landmark like a temple or shop. Tell a tutor on a two-wheeler where to park, as some lanes are narrow.

Yes, a Sector 44 tutor can switch to an online lesson on a heavy-rain day. Residents' reviews mention waterlogging in the monsoon, so agree on this at the start and keep a charged laptop or tablet ready in case the power goes. The lesson time and fee usually stay the same.
Tutors who teach in Sector 44 usually come from Sectors 45 and 46 next door or from the Sector 37 and 40 side. Others ride the Blue or Magenta Line to Botanical Garden or Okhla Bird Sanctuary. Specialists for senior or international subjects often teach online instead.
Possibly, if their timings suit. Sector 37 and Sector 44 are both Central Noida pages, and a teacher may cover more than one sector. At the demo, find out which days they can manage, and whether an extra session is possible as board exams draw near. We can always suggest another name.
It depends on the subject and your child. Lessons at your own table help with long written practice and steady routines, whereas a screen opens the door to a specialist ISC teacher. Some students use both. Book the free trial in the format that worries you more, and decide once your child has felt the difference.
