Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Sector 48 families can have a tutor visit the house or teach online. Send NXTutors the class, board and subject, plus your block (A to D) and whether you live in a plot house, a builder floor or a complex such as Eldeco Ananda. We match two or three tutors who travel to Sector 48 or teach online. You see what each charges before booking, the first lesson is a free demo, and you are free to switch tutor later without paying anything extra.
Sector 48 sits in the Central Noida zone of Noida. It was planned for low-density housing, it has no metro station close by, and most homes open straight onto the street, which together decide how a tutor gets to you.

| Metro | No station inside; NoBroker lists Noida Sector 76 (about 3.4 km) and Noida Sector 101 (about 3.8 km) on the Aqua Line |

Sector 48 was designed for low-density housing. NoBroker describes it as a mix of independent plots, bungalows and low- to mid-rise builder floors, with standalone buildings and only a handful of gated societies, which gives it a calmer feel than the tower sectors across Dadri Main Road. Portal listings show plots in several sizes, and many houses have been rebuilt as floors let to tenants.
Two complexes come up in listings. Square Yards names Eldeco Ananda, with 3 BHK apartments and penthouses, and Kesar Garden Apartments, with 2 and 3 BHK flats. Both are small next to the large societies further south. Local reference points named in listings include the Radha Soami Satsang Beas campus and GST Bhawan near Dadri Main Road, and Sita Vatika Park inside the sector.
Reviews describe the sector as safe, family-friendly and peaceful, with good neighbours and growing demand from families. They also note that some older buildings lack modern amenities and that open green space is limited, so the parks fill up in the evenings.
Most tutors will ring a bell at a gate, not wait at a guard post. The study space is usually a room in the house rather than a clubhouse. On a rented floor, another family may live above or below, so a lesson time when the stairwell is quiet helps a young child focus.
Space is the quiet advantage here. A plot house or a larger floor often has a room that can be kept for study, with a table, good light and the school books in one place. Setting that up before the demo lets the tutor judge how your child works, not how they cope with a busy drawing room.
Reviews of Sector 48 on NoBroker are fewer than for its neighbours, and they pull in two directions.
A practical way to read all this: the more your home is tucked inside a block, the less the main-road traffic matters, and the more the choice comes down to the tutor's subject knowledge and the fit with your child.
Then there are the questions every family asks: will the tutor stay through the school year, how well do they know the board, and what happens if the fit is wrong after a month?
Sector 48 is one of the Central Noida sectors with no metro stop close at hand. NoBroker lists Noida Sector 76 on the Aqua Line at about 3.4 km and Noida Sector 101, the next stop south, at about 3.8 km. A tutor who comes by train will finish with an auto or e-rickshaw, so most tutors here travel by road on a two-wheeler or by car.
The main roads named in listings are Dadri Main Road, which carries through traffic past the sector, Sector 48 Road, Vishwakarma Road and Aai Mata Road. Bus stops at Sarin Farm and Maharishi Ashram serve the area. Because Dadri Main Road is where reviewers place the worst jams, tutors who live in the bordering sectors, such as 46, 47 and 49, often have the most dependable trip: they can come over on internal roads.
For a tutor from Delhi or the far side of Noida, the long way in usually means the metro to Sector 76 or Sector 101 and then a short ride. That works, but it adds time and a change of mode, so such a tutor may prefer one longer lesson to two short ones. Online lessons are the natural option when the right specialist lives far away.
With few gated societies, the main task is clear directions. Send the block letter, the house or plot number, the floor if it is a builder floor, and a map pin. Name a lasting landmark such as Sita Vatika Park or the Radha Soami Satsang Beas campus on Dadri Main Road, rather than a shop that might close.
For Eldeco Ananda or Kesar Garden Apartments, check how the guard logs visitors, add the tutor before the demo, and ask about a standing entry once lessons are regular.
An adult should be at home during every lesson, with the study door open for younger children. Ask for a woman tutor in your request if you prefer one; our page on female tutors in Noida explains more. Tutors who join NXTutors go through an ID check, in which a one-time code confirms their phone or email and our team reviews an uploaded government photo ID. It is not a police or background check. Read how our ID check works.
Families in Sector 48 commonly ask about CBSE and ICSE or ISC, with some asking about IB, Cambridge IGCSE or UP Board. In a house with space to spare, a tutor can keep a shelf of board past papers and the school's worksheets in the study room between lessons, which helps in Classes 9 to 12.
For CISCE subjects, ask the tutor to follow the board's prescribed texts from cisce.org; for CBSE, the NCERT books and sample papers on cbseacademic.nic.in. Our CBSE, ICSE, IB and IGCSE guide covers the differences in full, and IGCSE tutors in Noida lists tutors for the Cambridge route.
Short, cheerful lessons a few times a week work for this age, with reading, handwriting and number work tied to the school diary. With parks busy in the evening, a lesson that ends before play time keeps the child's attention.
This is the stage to catch gaps in Maths, Science and English. One tutor for two subjects is common. Ask for a short weekly note on what was covered and what is still weak.
Board work begins in earnest. A Class 9 home tutor in Noida can set the base for the Class 10 year. Since tutors here mostly come by road, two longer lessons a week are often easier to keep than four short ones.
Students usually take one tutor per subject. For Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, Accountancy or Economics at this level, the right specialist may live well beyond the neighbouring sectors, so a mix of home lessons and online sessions is common. If JEE or NEET is in the plan, an online specialist alongside a home tutor for board subjects is a frequent arrangement.
CBSE, ICSE and ISC exams for Classes 10 and 12 mostly fall in February and March; check cbse.gov.in and cisce.org for each year's timetable, and upmsp.edu.in for UP Board. Agree by December when the tutor will stop new chapters and start timed papers. In the final weeks, an online session can stand in for a home visit if roads are slow.
A home tutor fits Sector 48 well: the house has room for a proper study corner, and your child does not need to travel to a metro station. The trade-off is that tutors come by road, so the pool is mostly people from nearby sectors.
Online lessons widen that pool to anywhere. They suit specialist senior subjects, IB or IGCSE work, and evenings when Dadri Main Road is jammed. See online tutors serving Noida.
A coaching centre means your child travels, and from Sector 48 that usually means a parent driving or a ride to the nearest station. A combination is common: a home tutor for school subjects and one online or centre class where a specialist matters.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Each tutor decides their fee, and it is on your shortlist before the free demo.
Class and board, subject, lesson length and the number of lessons each week move the fee most. In Sector 48 travel also plays a part: with the metro some kilometres away, a tutor from a bordering sector has the easiest trip, while one coming from farther may want longer lessons. Settle how holidays, cancellations and pre-exam extras are counted before you start.
We did not find a public library or reading room in Sector 48. Sita Vatika Park is the local green space, and Meghdootam Park in Sector 50 is a short drive away. In practice, the study room at home is where serious work happens.

AI-first tutoring, with real teachers
You tell us the class, board, subject and where in Sector 48 you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Where AI stops and people start
Move out to the wider area or in to nearby sectors. Tutors usually travel short distances, so the closest areas are the most useful places to look.
Distances are straight-line estimates between sector centres from OpenStreetMap data; the road route is usually longer.

If diagrams, practical records or long answers are the hard part of school science, a tutor in Sector 48 who helps your child present answers neatly can make as much difference as one who explains theory. Say which of these is the struggle when you write to us, and name the class. The Biology home tutors page is one place to look.
For ICSE and ISC students, mention the class and the subject combination, since CISCE conducts both the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations. IB students should name their subject and level. Either way, you will get two or three suggestions shaped around that course.
On our site Sector 48 is a Central Noida page, shown beside Sector 39, Sector 40, Sector 41 and Sector 44 in the table above. A tutor who covers one of those pages may well be willing to come to you as well, so ask. Every tutor's fee is shown before the first class, which is free, and you can talk through the plan for the term before committing to anything regular. If the arrangement stops suiting you later in the year, changing tutor is free.
