Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Yes, a Sector 99 family can have a tutor at the door or on a screen. Tell NXTutors the class, board, subject, and whether you live in a Block A or Block B house or in one of the apartment buildings, and we shortlist two or three matched tutors who travel to Sector 99 from nearby sectors, or who teach online. You see every fee on the shortlist, the first class is a free demo, and you can switch tutor later at no cost.
Sector 99 sits at the north-western end of the Noida Expressway zone of Noida, right against Sectors 45 and 46. Its character is set by plotted houses, a handful of apartment buildings and open plots still waiting for a house. This page explains what that means for getting a tutor in, choosing a time and setting up a quiet corner for study.
| Question | Sector 99 |
|---|---|
| Zone | Noida Expressway, at the end that meets Central Noida |
| Housing | Independent houses on plots in Block A and Block B, Noida Authority HIG and MIG flats, and a few apartment buildings such as Supreme Towers; many plots are still for sale |
| Nearest metro | No station in the sector; portals list Noida Sector 101 on the Aqua Line and Botanical Garden on the Blue and Magenta Lines, each a little over 4 km away |
| Roads at the edge | Rajput Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan Road and Sector 45 Road; Vishwakarma Road, Dadri Main Road and the expressway for longer trips |
| Next-door areas | Sectors 45, 46, 97, 100 and 104, and the Unitech Golf and Country Club societies to the west |
| Who tutors usually are | Tutors from the Sector 45 to 47 side, from Sector 100 and 104, and online specialists |
| Modes | Home, online, or a mix of the two |
Sector 99 is mostly a plotted sector. NoBroker names two blocks, Block A and Block B, and lists independent houses, Noida Authority HIG and MIG flats and apartment buildings side by side. Square Yards shows that most of what is for sale here is land rather than flats, with plots of roughly 250 to 300 square metres on offer. In plain terms, some lanes have finished houses next to empty plots or homes still under construction.
The apartment side is small. Supreme Towers is the name that comes up most often, with 3 and 4 BHK flats; listings disagree on how many floors its towers have, so we leave that out. Square Yards also lists Sunshine Apartment and a Noida Authority apartment block among ready homes. Families who rent here mostly rent flats, while owners of the plotted houses often live on one floor and let another.
The setting matters for tuition. The sector sits between the older Central Noida sectors to the north and the expressway belt to the south. OpenStreetMap shows Prateek Stylome and NRI Residency just across the road in Sector 45, and the Burgundy and Amber towers of the Unitech Golf and Country Club a short way west. Square Yards places the club itself about half a kilometre away and lists Gadarpur, Chhalera and Aghapur as nearby villages.
Many working parents here commute to the business parks that portals list nearby, such as those along the expressway and in Sectors 125, 132 and 142. Those office hours shape when an adult can be home, which in turn shapes the lesson slot.
Reviews and locality notes on property portals return to a few practical points. None of them is a reason to avoid home tuition; each is something to plan around.
We name no individual reviewer or quote; these are general themes from public pages, listed in the sources.
There is no metro station inside Sector 99. NoBroker puts Noida Sector 101 on the Aqua Line at about 4.2 km and Botanical Garden, the Blue and Magenta Line interchange, at about 4.5 km, and it also mentions Golf Course on the Blue Line. A tutor who rides the metro will finish the trip by auto, e-rickshaw or cab, and NoBroker lists a Sector 99 bus stop as well.
By road, the sector is bounded on OpenStreetMap by Rajput Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan Road and Sector 45 Road, which link it to Sectors 45 and 46. Vishwakarma Road, Dadri Main Road and Amrapali Marg are the wider roads that tutors from further away use, and the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway runs a little to the south. The expressway is quick off-peak but heavy in the evening, so a tutor who can stay on inner sector roads is usually the steadier choice for a weekday slot.
The shortest trips come from next door. Tutors already teaching in Sector 45, 46 or 47 can come across without touching a main road for long, and those in Sector 100 or 104 are just to the east and south. A tutor from Old Noida or Delhi is possible, but expect them to prefer a weekend morning or an online session for part of the week.
We do not print journey times, because they swing so much between a quiet Sunday and a weekday evening. Ask each shortlisted tutor which way they would come and what time they would set off.
Most Sector 99 homes are houses rather than towers, so the tutor usually walks straight to your door. Because plotted lanes look alike and some plots are empty, send the block letter, the house number and a map pin, and say which floor you live on if the house is split. In Supreme Towers or another apartment building, add the tutor to the guard's list or the visitor app before the demo, and ask about a standing pass once lessons are regular.
Tell a tutor who drives where to park; plotted lanes are narrow and a car in front of a neighbour's gate starts the wrong conversation. A tutor arriving by auto may need to be met at the corner the first time.
Keep the lesson in a shared room, with an adult at home throughout, and the door open for younger children. If you would like a woman tutor, ask for one in your request and we will look for a woman home tutor in Noida who fits your class, subject and timing.
Every tutor who joins goes through an ID check. A one-time code confirms the phone or email, and our team reviews a government photo ID before any badge is shown. It is not a police or background check, so use the free demo to judge the person as well as the teaching. Details are on how we check tutors.
Families on this edge of the expressway commonly ask about CBSE and ICSE or ISC, and some ask about IB or Cambridge IGCSE. UP Board comes up too, often for a child who answers in Hindi.
In a plotted house, the board changes less about logistics than about materials. Give the tutor the school's book list on day one: CBSE work runs on NCERT books from cbseacademic.nic.in, ICSE and ISC on the texts CISCE prescribes at cisce.org, and UP Board on its own notices at upmsp.edu.in. For IB and IGCSE, an online specialist is often paired with a local tutor; see our IB tutors for Noida. The full side-by-side is in our board comparison guide.
In a house with a garden or a terrace, it is tempting to hold the lesson outside. For young children a table indoors works better: fewer distractions, and the tutor can lay out books and worksheets. Keep sessions short, around 45 minutes, and keep the school diary on the table so the tutor sees each week's homework.
This is where reading habits and the basics of algebra and science settle. One tutor for Maths and Science is common; English or a language can be added later. Ask the tutor to look at the school notebook and the last class test, so lessons follow what the teacher is actually doing.
Board preparation starts in Class 9, not in the winter of Class 10. Two or three sessions a week of about 90 minutes leave time to teach and to set a timed question. For a parent searching for a maths home tutor in Noida for Class 9 or 10, ask the tutor which past papers they use and how they mark them.
Most students take a separate tutor for each main subject. In Sector 99, where the nearest metro is a ride away, a Physics or Chemistry specialist from across Noida may offer two home visits and one online session a week. That mix is often easier to sustain through the year than three long trips. For entrance plans, our JEE tutors in Noida page explains what a home tutor can and cannot cover.
Some households also ask for spoken English, a language, or help for a student preparing to re-sit. These are usually evening or weekend lessons and often move online once a routine is set.
Board exams cluster in the first months of the year. CBSE now offers Class 10 students a second, optional sitting later in the year to improve their score, so a tutor plans for the main exam first. CISCE and UP Board publish their own timetables on cisce.org and upmsp.edu.in; IB exams run in May and November, and Cambridge offers March, June and November series. Take dates only from those sites. In a house next to a building plot, ask early whether work can pause on exam mornings, and keep the online option ready.
Home tuition suits Sector 99 well. There is no tower lobby to clear, the tutor comes to the door, and a parent working from home can hear how the lesson is going. The catch is reach: with no station inside the sector, fewer tutors can come from far away on a weekday.
Online lessons remove that limit. For IB, IGCSE or senior-class specialists, an online tutor for Noida is often the practical answer, with an occasional home visit to check notebooks.
A coaching centre shifts the travel onto the child. From a plotted lane with few autos off-peak, that usually means a parent driving, so weigh the evening trips before you sign up. Many families mix the two: a home tutor for school subjects and one centre or online class for a specialist need.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
Each tutor sets their own fee, and you see it on the shortlist before the free demo. What pushes a fee up or down is mostly the class and board, the subject, the tutor's experience and how far they travel. A tutor from Sector 45 or 100 who can walk or ride a short way may price differently from one who crosses the city. Longer sessions, more days a week, or a home-plus-online mix also change the monthly total. Compare the two or three matched tutors on fit and timing as well as price, and agree the fee and lesson length in writing before regular classes start.
We found no public library mapped in Sector 99. NoBroker lists the Sector 99 Central Green, Sector 99 Park and a triangular park, which are fine for a break between study blocks but not for desk work. For most students the study spot is a room at home; in a house where one floor is let out, pick the quietest room away from the street and any neighbouring building plot.
Sectors 45 to 47 belong to Central Noida; Sectors 100, 104 and 105 are in the same expressway zone as Sector 99.

AI-first tutoring, with real teachers
You tell us the class, board, subject and where in Sector 99 you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Where AI stops and people start
Move out to the wider area or in to nearby sectors. Tutors usually travel short distances, so the closest areas are the most useful places to look.
Distances are straight-line estimates between sector centres from OpenStreetMap data; the road route is usually longer.

Tuition in Sector 99 can start as small as one subject twice a week. Begin with the subject that is causing the most worry, say Biology or English, and add another only if your child has the energy for it.
When you ask, tell us the class and board. If your child is with UP Board, mention whether they are in the High School or Intermediate years; the Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad conducts both examinations. NXTutors then suggests two or three tutors suited to that syllabus.
After about a month, check in with the tutor: what has improved, what still needs time, and whether the days still work. If the answer leaves you unsure, a different tutor can be arranged at no cost. Pages for Sector 92, Sector 93, Sector 93A and Sector 93B appear with this one in the Noida Expressway zone, so you can read those cards as well. Accountancy and JEE can be asked for in the same message, and you can ask a tutor to tell you plainly if a subject is outside what they teach. Keep the school books handy for the first class, along with any test your child found difficult.
