Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Yes, children in Sector 128 can have lessons at home, and online when a far-off specialist is the right fit. Tell NXTutors the class, board and subject, and which part of Wish Town or the sector you live in. We send two or three tutors chosen for that request, drawn from those who make the trip from sectors nearby and from online teachers, with every fee on the list before you commit. The first lesson is a free demo; replacing a tutor later costs you nothing.
Sector 128 is in the Noida Expressway zone of Noida. Most of it is Jaypee Wish Town: high-rise towers and golf-facing villas around an 18-hole course, with Jaypee Hospital on its own campus and Sultanpur village at one edge. There is no metro station within easy reach, which shapes almost every tuition decision here.

Sector 128 is largely taken up by Jaypee Wish Town, a township that Wikipedia names in Sector 128 as part of a group of Jaypee projects that also covered Sectors 129, 131, 133 and 134. NoBroker describes the housing as gated high-rise apartments and golf-facing villas, with independent houses and some village homes as well, in sizes from studios up to 4 BHK and larger. Projects it lists include Jaypee Greens Pavilion Heights, Kalypso Court, Knights Court and Wish Town, along with Anindya Studios.
The 18-hole Jaypee Greens golf course anchors the sector, and many towers and villas face onto it. Jaypee Hospital, a multi-speciality hospital, stands in the Wish Town part of the sector according to directory listings. At the other edge lies Sultanpur, with its own village roads, park and a cut onto the expressway.
NoBroker reviewers call Sector 128 good for families and working professionals, with clean air, greenery, low traffic inside the sector and easy parking on internal roads. They also mention strong rental demand linked to nearby tech parks, so a share of households are tenants who work in the offices along the expressway.
Wikipedia records that the Jaypee projects in these sectors were due around 2011–12, that many buyers faced long delays, and that the company entered insolvency in 2017. Today families live in completed towers, while parts of the wider township have taken longer. For a tutor, this mainly means that tower names and gate numbers can confuse map apps, so precise directions matter more here than in most sectors.
A golf-facing villa or a large township flat usually has a spare room for lessons. In a studio or a compact flat, set up a table away from the main living area, and pick a time when the household is settled.
NoBroker's resident reviews of Sector 128 mix praise for the greenery with a clear list of practical drawbacks. Here is how each affects a weekly lesson.
Reviewers also say the gated pockets feel secure, which makes the visit itself straightforward once the tutor is through the gate.
The Noida–Greater Noida Expressway is Sector 128's main road, and NoBroker lists Bandh Road and Jhansi Rani Laxmibai Marg as well, alongside the Wish Town internal roads and the Sultanpur village roads. Almost every tutor comes by road. The expressway carries heavy peak-hour traffic in both directions, so a tutor who lives in a neighbouring sector and can avoid the busiest stretch will keep a slot far more reliably than one crossing Noida in the rush.
The metro is not much help here. NoBroker puts the nearest stations at Okhla Bird Sanctuary on the Magenta Line, about 6.7 km away, and Noida Sector 83 on the Aqua Line, about 7.6 km away, and it also mentions Noida Sector 137. From any of them, the last leg depends on autos or cabs, which reviewers say are slow to come. For a regular weekly lesson, this is the single biggest reason families here favour tutors with their own transport, or online lessons for specialist subjects.
Inside the sector, the distances between Wish Town's towers, the villas and the Sultanpur side can be long. Tell the tutor which project and tower you live in, which gate to use, and send a map pin, because tower names inside the township can be similar.
We do not quote journey times. Ask each tutor where they start from, which cut they use and what time they would arrive.
The Wish Town projects are gated, so the tutor's name, timing and vehicle number should reach the security desk before the demo. Send the tutor the project name (Pavilion Heights, Kalypso Court, Knights Court or another), the tower and flat, and the gate nearest you. For a villa, say whether the tutor should come to the villa gate or meet you at the main entrance on the first day.
Once lessons are regular, ask the estate office how to give a weekly visitor standing approval. Reviewers say parking on internal roads is easy, but tell the tutor where visitors are allowed, so a car is not moved halfway through a lesson.
Families on the Sultanpur side usually have no society gate, so the tutor comes straight to the door. Share a lit route from the main road, given what reviewers say about street lighting.
Keep an adult at home through each lesson, and leave the door ajar when the learner is small. A request can also specify a woman tutor, and NXTutors can look for a woman home tutor for Noida families who can reach Sector 128 or teach online. Tutors who sign up with us prove a phone number or email with a one-time code and submit a government photo ID for our team to inspect; this checks identity and is not a police or background check. Children in Sector 128 may study under CBSE, ICSE or ISC, IB, Cambridge IGCSE or UP Board, depending on their school. The expressway gives families easy reach to schools across Noida and towards Delhi, so the board in a single tower can vary widely; always name it with the class.
The local twist is supply. Because the nearest metro is several kilometres away, a home tutor for an IB Diploma or IGCSE subject may not be nearby, and online lessons often fill that gap. For IB, the tutor needs the subject guide and level (SL or HL); for IGCSE, the syllabus code; for ICSE and ISC, CISCE's prescribed texts. Compare the boards in our guide to CBSE, ICSE, IB and IGCSE, or see IB tutors in Noida and IGCSE tutors in Noida.
For small children, keep lessons brief and close together in the week. In a township with a golf course and open lawns, outdoor time in the evening is a big draw, so a lesson soon after school, before play, tends to hold attention. Early reading, number sense and fine handwriting come first.
One tutor who covers Maths and Science together is the common choice in these years, with English or a second language added if needed. Because tutors here mostly come by road, a fixed pair of weekday afternoons plus a short weekend check-in can work better than four short visits.
The board run-up starts in Class 9. Fewer but longer visits suit Sector 128, since every trip costs the tutor real time on the expressway. Use part of each visit for a timed question and the rest for teaching. A maths tutor in Noida for board classes is where many families start.
Seniors usually work with a separate tutor per subject. With rides hard to find and the metro distant, travelling out for evening coaching is tiring, so many Sector 128 families keep board subjects with a home tutor and move entrance preparation for JEE or NEET online. Ask for an online JEE or NEET teacher in the same request if that is the plan.
Board papers here cluster in February and March. CBSE's Class 10 main papers in 2026 ran 17 February to 11 March, and a May sitting gave students a chance to improve. CISCE publishes ICSE and ISC timetables, UPMSP the UP Board ones, each on its own site. The IB holds Diploma exams in May and in November; Cambridge sets IGCSE papers in March, June and November series. In winter, with early dusk and quiet roads, consider moving revision lessons online or earlier in the day.
Home tuition spares your child the hardest part of life in Sector 128: getting out of it. A tutor with a two-wheeler or car who lives nearby can come straight to your tower or villa, and you can watch how it goes.
Online lessons matter more here than in most sectors. With the metro several kilometres away and rides slow to arrive, online tuition for Noida students is often the realistic way to reach an IB, IGCSE or entrance specialist.
A coaching centre means a drive out for your child, often in the evening rush and back on quiet roads after dark. If you choose one, plan the pick-up before you enrol. Many families pair a home tutor for school work with online lessons rather than a centre.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Every tutor sets a rate, and your shortlist shows it before the demo.
What shapes the rate: class, board and subject, the length of each visit and how many visits a week. In Sector 128 the trip carries more weight than usual, since there is no metro close by and the expressway is slow at peak hours; tutors from Sector 108 or 137 have a shorter run than those coming across the city.
Agree the monthly total and the rules on holidays, cancellations and extra pre-exam sessions before the regular schedule begins.
NoBroker lists Sector 128 Park and Sultanpur Park among the sector's open spaces, good for a break between study blocks. We found no public library or Noida Authority study room in the sector. Township clubhouses may have rooms, subject to each society's rules, but for most students a quiet room at home is the study base.

AI-first tutoring, with real teachers
You tell us the class, board, subject and where in Sector 128 you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Where AI stops and people start
Move out to the wider area or in to nearby sectors. Tutors usually travel short distances, so the closest areas are the most useful places to look.
Distances are straight-line estimates between sector centres from OpenStreetMap data; the road route is usually longer.

Your first class with any tutor matched to Sector 128 is a free demo, and it is worth planning. Pick one chapter your child finds hard, keep the school notebook open, and sit in for the last part if your child is comfortable with that. You will learn more from those moments than from any profile.
NXTutors lists Sector 128 under its Noida Expressway zone. Tutors who live in this sector or make the trip to it are shown first, then those based in or covering the zone's other sectors, then the remainder of Noida. A home tutor from Delhi or Gurugram may follow, and anyone teaching online closes the page. Even if Sector 128 has nobody of its own listed yet, each card still tells you why that tutor is there.
Pages for Sector 105 and Sector 107 sit alongside this one, and their tutors may also suit you. Whether your child takes CBSE or ICSE, naming the board at the start helps the tutor choose the right books. For JEE, Economics or Biology in the senior years, add the chapters done and the dates of any school tests coming up, so the tutor can plan the opening weeks around them. Sector 100 and Sector 104 are also listed alongside if you want more profiles to read.
