Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Yes, a home tutor can come to your flat in Sector 150, though in this sector the tutor almost always arrives by road rather than by metro. Tell NXTutors your society, tower, class, board and subject, and we put forward two or three matched tutors who travel to Sector 150 or teach online. You see each tutor's fee on the shortlist, the opening class is a free demo, and you can change tutor later at no cost.
Sector 150 sits near the Greater Noida end of the Noida Expressway zone in Noida. It was planned as a sports city, with a large green share, wide roads and a big public park, and many of its societies are still being finished or handed over. This guide explains how that shapes the tutor's route, the gate, the hour you pick and the lesson itself.
| What | Sector 150 |
|---|---|
| Zone | Noida Expressway, at the Greater Noida end, beside Sector 149 |
| Housing | Gated apartment societies, mostly mid- and high-rise, some ready and lived in, others still under construction; a villa project and a few independent houses |
| Societies people name | ATS Pristine, ATS Le Grandiose, Tata Eureka Park, Godrej Palm Retreat, Godrej Nest, Ace Golfshire, Ace Parkway, Eldeco Live By The Greens, Antriksh Golf Address, Samridhi Luxuriya Avenue |
| Metro | No station inside the sector; Noida Sector 148 on the Aqua Line is the nearest, a few kilometres away, with Knowledge Park II next along |
| Main roads | Noida–Greater Noida Expressway, Yamuna Expressway, Shafipur Road and Pushta Road |
| Green space | Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park, a large Noida Authority park with a walking path, plus society parks and sports areas |
| Where tutors usually come from | Sector 149 and the 140s along the expressway, Greater Noida's nearer sectors, and online teachers for specialist subjects |
| Boards families ask about | Commonly CBSE and ICSE/ISC; some ask about IB, Cambridge IGCSE or UP Board |
| Good session windows | Late afternoon before the expressway fills, or weekend mornings |
Sector 150 is unusual among Noida sectors because it was planned around sport and open space rather than packed with towers. Developer material and property portals describe a low-density layout in which a large part of the land is green belt, parks and sports areas. Portals give different figures for that share, so we do not quote one; what matters for a parent is that the sector feels spread out, with wide roads and long distances between society gates.
The housing is almost entirely gated apartment societies built by large developers. The names that appear most often on property portals are ATS Pristine and ATS Le Grandiose, Tata Eureka Park, Godrej Palm Retreat and Godrej Nest, Ace Golfshire and Ace Parkway, Eldeco Live By The Greens, Antriksh Golf Address and Samridhi Luxuriya Avenue. Portals also list a separate villa project and a handful of independent houses. Flat sizes run from small one-bedroom units to large three- and four-bedroom homes.
Not every tower is lived in yet. From January 2021 Noida Authority froze occupancy certificates and registrations for the sector's sports-city projects, saying the promised sports facilities had not been built. A Supreme Court order of 24 November 2025 allowed registrations to resume project by project once developers met the conditions, and the Authority has since issued its first conditional certificates. In practice, some societies have had families for years, while others are only now receiving residents, and construction continues on several plots.
Many residents work in the offices along the expressway, in the business parks around Sectors 132 to 142, or in Greater Noida. Families who have recently moved in often still have children enrolled in schools some distance away, which affects when a child gets home and how much energy is left for an evening lesson.
A newer society can mean a smaller pool of tutors who already come there, but also fewer competing evening commitments for your child. Mention your society and tower when you send a request, because the gap between one end of Sector 150 and the other is real.
Public reviews of Sector 150 on property portals and the local news coverage come back to a few themes. Here is what each one means for tuition.
None of this is a reason to avoid home tuition here. It mostly points to choosing a tutor who already knows the expressway and can name the route they will use.
The Aqua Line runs along the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway, but it does not enter Sector 150. Property portals name Noida Sector 148 as the nearest station, a few kilometres from most society gates, with Knowledge Park II, the first Greater Noida stop, also within reach. Both stations opened with the line in January 2019. A tutor coming by metro will still need an auto, a cab or a lift from the station, so a tutor with their own two-wheeler is usually the more reliable choice for a weekly slot.
By road, the sector is reached from the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway, and portals also list the Yamuna Expressway, Shafipur Road and Pushta Road. The expressway carries very heavy office traffic at both ends of the working day, so a tutor coming from central Noida after work can lose a good part of the evening on it. A tutor from Sector 149, the 140s, or the nearer Greater Noida sectors avoids most of that stretch.
Inside the sector, distances between gates are long and the internal roads are wide and quiet. Send the tutor a map pin of your gate, not just the society name, because some of the same developers also have projects in Sector 151 next door, and a similar name can send a tutor to the wrong gate.
We do not quote travel minutes, because they change with the hour and the stretch of expressway. At the demo, ask each tutor where they start from, which road they use, and what they do if the expressway is jammed. A tutor who has thought about that question is more likely to keep the slot through the year.
Every major society in Sector 150 has a staffed gate and visitor checks, and the larger ones have more than one entrance. Before the demo, register the tutor in your society's visitor app or with security, and send the gate, the tower and the flat number. In a newer society where only some towers are occupied, guards may also ask the tutor to show which block is lived in, so the flat number saves time.
Once regular lessons begin, ask the facility office about a standing pass for a weekly visitor. Tell the tutor where visitor parking is, since a two-wheeler is the usual way in. If your tower is still settling in, check that the lift is in normal use for visitors before the first lesson.
Keep lessons inside the flat, with an adult at home. Many societies here list clubhouses and sports facilities, but each sets its own rules about private teaching in shared rooms, so ask before you plan a lesson there.
If you want a woman tutor, say so in your request and we will shortlist a female home tutor for your Noida home where one fits your class and timing. Tutors who join go through an ID check, which means a one-time code to confirm a phone number or email and a government photo ID sent to our team for review. That check is about identity only and is not a police or background check. Read how our tutor ID check works, and judge the teaching at the demo.
Families in Sector 150 commonly ask about CBSE and ICSE/ISC tutors, and some ask about IB or Cambridge IGCSE, often for one demanding subject such as Maths or a science. UP Board help comes up less often, usually with Hindi-medium answers in mind.
What changes for a home tutor here is mostly practical. A family that has just moved in may still be getting used to a new board, so the first few weeks often go into filling gaps between the old syllabus and the new one; share the school's syllabus and the last report card at the demo. For an IB tutor in Noida or an IGCSE specialist, the pool of tutors willing to drive to the edge of the expressway is smaller, so a mix of online lessons and one home visit a week is common.
For CBSE Class 10, the board now holds a second exam in the same year for students who want to improve; plan the year around the main exam and treat the second one as a back-up. For a full comparison of the boards, read our CBSE vs ICSE vs IB vs IGCSE guide.
Young children in a newly occupied society often have fewer friends nearby at first, and a regular tutor can become a steady part of the week. Keep lessons short, forty-five minutes to an hour, and pick a fixed table away from windows facing a building site. Reading, handwriting and number sense matter more than racing through the textbook. Our primary tuition at home in Noida page covers this stage.
This is when Maths and Science start to separate children who keep up from those who drift. One tutor for both subjects works well in these years, with English added if the school asks a lot of writing. If your child changed schools on moving to Sector 150, ask the tutor to spend the first month checking basics from the previous year rather than starting at the current chapter.
Board preparation starts in Class 9, not Class 10. Two or three lessons a week of about ninety minutes each leave time to teach a topic and then try a timed set of questions. A long school commute from Sector 150 can leave a Class 10 student tired by evening, so weekend morning lessons often do more work than a late weekday one. For Maths in these years, see maths tuition at home in Noida.
In the senior years a Sector 150 family usually books one tutor per main subject. Science students commonly take Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology; commerce students take Accountancy, Economics and sometimes Maths. Where the right subject specialist lives far from Sector 150, two online lessons a week plus one home lesson keeps the routine steady without a long evening drive every time.
Students preparing for JEE or NEET alongside Class 11 or 12 need more hours and a clear weekly plan. Because centres are far from the sector, many families here lean on online classes for entrance preparation and keep a home tutor for school subjects. Our JEE tuition in Noida page explains how that split usually works.
For CBSE, ICSE, ISC and UP Board students, the main board exams fall in the early months of the year, and each board posts its own timetable on its official site: cbse.gov.in, cisce.org and upmsp.edu.in. IB Diploma students sit papers in May or November, and Cambridge IGCSE runs March, June and November series. In the weeks before exams, agree with the tutor when lessons move from new teaching to past papers, and whether extra sessions will be online to spare the evening drive along the expressway.
Home tutor. Your child stays home and you can see the lesson. In Sector 150 the trade-off is the tutor's trip: without a nearby station, it has to be a tutor who drives or rides, ideally from the next few sectors.
Online. No travel at all, which suits this sector well, especially for senior subjects and international boards where the right teacher may be in another city. Online tuition for Noida families also covers the weeks when a family is still moving in.
Coaching centre. Most centres are some distance from Sector 150, so the travel falls on your child, often on the expressway at peak hours and back in the dark in winter. For many families here that makes a centre the hardest option to sustain.
A common pattern in this sector is a home tutor for the core school subjects and online lessons for one specialist need.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors price their own lessons, and every fee is visible to you ahead of the demo.
The fee moves with the class and board, the subject, how long each lesson runs and how many lessons you book in a week. In Sector 150 the trip matters more than in most sectors: a tutor who comes from Sector 149 or a nearby expressway sector has a short ride, while one crossing Noida in evening traffic may ask a little more or prefer fewer, longer lessons. A mix of online and home lessons can bring the monthly total down.
Before regular lessons start, agree how holidays, cancelled lessons and extra pre-exam classes will be handled, so the monthly bill matches what you expect.
We could not find a public library or community study room in Sector 150. The big public green space is Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park, which Noida Authority developed with a walking path, a children's garden and an amphitheatre; it is a place for a break between study blocks rather than a place to study. Inside the gates, several societies list clubhouses and sports areas, and whether a student may use a society room to read depends on its rules. For most children, a quiet room at home remains the main study space.

AI-first tutoring, with real teachers
You tell us the class, board, subject and where in Sector 150 you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Where AI stops and people start
Move out to the wider area or in to nearby sectors. Tutors usually travel short distances, so the closest areas are the most useful places to look.
Distances are straight-line estimates between sector centres from OpenStreetMap data; the road route is usually longer.

A few practical details help home tuition in Sector 150 run smoothly from the first week. If your building keeps a visitor register or asks for a gate pass, add the tutor's name once so lessons begin on time. Set aside a table with good light, and keep the school books and the last test paper ready.
When you write to NXTutors, give the class, the board, the subjects and the days you prefer. Back come two or three tutors chosen for that, and each one's fee shows on their card before the first meeting.
This page lists, before anyone else, tutors who live in Sector 150 or who travel there. Next you will find tutors from elsewhere in the Noida Expressway zone, then from across Noida, then those teaching at home from Faridabad or Greater Noida, and online teachers last of all. If Sector 150 has no tutor of its own listed yet, those wider choices are what you will see, and each card names its reason. Biology, English and Accountancy can all be asked for. For a UP Board student, mention the High School or Intermediate year as well.
